Before a single Soul Reaper could dare say another word, captains from the thirteen court guard squads each appeared one-by-one.

Silas's body slowly turned to feel out every single one of them. All the captains, including the head captain, Genryūsai, were present. Genryūsai opened his eyes, blazing with authority. "Are you the one with that tainted spiritual pressure causing a disturbance in the Seireitei?"

A sudden whirlwind of seeable, white spiritual pressure swirled around Silas's body. Some of the unseated officers felt as if they were drowning, passing out from being in his presence. Even Genryūsai's flaming aura felt threatened by it. When the winds ceased, Silas returned to normal, revealing his tattered Soul Reaper uniform.

Many of them were shocked to see that it was truly him. In a calm tone, he gazed at each of the captains. "Genryūsai Yamamoto, Soi Fon, Gin Ichimaru, Retsu Unohana, Byakuya Kuchiki, Sajin Komamura, Shunsui Kyōraku, Kaname Tōsen, Tōshirō Hitsugaya, Kenpachi Zaraki, Mayuri Kurotsuchi. Even you showed up... Jūshirō Ukitake."

Silas knew not only their names by heart; he even listed the order in which squadron they were in charge of!

"Well, isn't that surprising?" Shunsui praised, lowering his hat. The next thing every captain did was unsheathe their swords. Some went as far as releasing their Shikai.

"Don't take this personal," Jūshirō said in a sickly tone. "But when we see one of our own lying dead at your feet, it's only natural that we keep our guards up."

Silas felt all their spiritual pressures. Out of all the captains here, only Genryūsai and Zaraki were considered a threat. "Gin," he said, his eyes shifting to him. "It's over…"

Gin pointed at himself with a confused smile. "Huh? You talking to me?"

"You heard me... I said it's over. Your desperate desire to protect Rangiku Matsumoto was dealt with by me."

"Enough!" Genryūsai hollered. "Explain the meaning of this, ryoka, and why you came to the Seireitei."

Silas might not have liked anyone in this world, but he valued notable traits like Genryūsai's. Rather than attack or incarcerate him immediately, the head captain sought to understand the situation first.

So in a straightforward tone, Silas answered, "You Soul Reapers have had an enemy in your midst for awhile now. Over a hundred years ago, after a Soul Reaper named Kisuke Urahara was tried for conducting Hollowfication experiments on others, he was banished to the world of the living. What you unruly people failed to see was that the true culprit is the one lying beneath my foot."

Not a single person said a word, their faces full of interest as he continued.

"Consider why he's here now, despite his death announced some time ago. Retsu Unohana, were you not the one conducting an autopsy? I'm sure you found something wrong with the body. And Tōshirō… How many false clues are you going to follow for Momo Hinamori to stop crying?"

Many of the lieutenants weren't present to witness this insatiable news. While the ones who were could barely believe what they were hearing. Silas spent little time explaining the true powers of Aizen's Zanpakutō. He even went as far as to give a brief description of how Aizen manipulated Kaname and tried to use Gin.

The truth had finally been revealed.

"I refuse to believe this nonsense!" Sajin growled. No one but Sajin would lash out like that, as Silas knew he would. "A few moments ago, your Quincy friend mysteriously turned himself in without a fight. Until you tell us where that cat is, I can't trust your words."

"She's dead," he confessed. "No longer in this world. The price to pay for needing to defeat your enemy."

"This doesn't sound like something someone would come up with overnight," Tōshirō commented, scratching his head.

"He's just trying to get out of this fight!" Zaraki hoped.

Only when Retsu finally confirmed that the autopsy was indeed peculiar did the others begin to believe. Tōshirō added that he, too, was trying to investigate the matter, believing Gin or Mayuri to have been the culprit behind Aizen's supposed death. But seeing Aizen's body here and now greatly alluded him.

Silas still needed one specific Soul Reaper to testify for his claims to be accepted. And for the first time, he saw that Soul Reaper's bright eyes staring into his own. They were telling him not to be lied to and wondering if the nightmare had truly ended. When Silas's gaze didn't leave his, Gin asked, "Is it really over?"

"It is…"

At those words, Gin approached him casually. Some of the Soul Reapers who hadn't been knocked out were alarmed. But since Genryūsai wasn't giving any orders, they didn't move.

Gin carefully analyzed Aizen's dead body. He then looked at the broken remains of the Zanpakutō. Grabbing its hilt, he observed it with interest and said with a smile, "Sorry, Captain Tōsen… Guess it really is over."

Stunned silence blanketed the area as the accused captain, a high-ranking Soul Reaper himself, unwittingly corroborated Silas's claims, shattering their disbelief with shocking validation.

"Captain Tōsen," Genryūsai grumbled. "Lay down your weapons."

Kaname was startled. But when he understood how dire the situation was, escape was not even close to an option. He threw his Zanpakutō away without hesitating before relaxing himself.

Sajin howled, still in disbelief that his best friend was an enemy. He tried to have Kaname deny everything, but the Soul Reaper remained silent. Others quickly came by Kaname's side and detained him to be later questioned. The same, however, had not been done for Gin.

"I can't say that I fully trust the ryoka yet," Soi Fon added. Jūshirō agreed, claiming that Silas knew far too much to simply let go. What most alarmed him was how he accurately described events that happened over one hundred years ago. That was not something a teenage boy should know.

Silas responded, "Other than this traitor, who among you have I gravely harmed? Who among you have I killed?"

No one could answer. Only a handful of people were fought by Silas, all of whom were spared. Even the gatekeeper.

"Well, this is a story worth sharing," Shunsui laughed. He was perhaps the only Soul Reaper not to find the situation disheartening. Silas awaited to hear Genryūsai's final call.

"If what you say about Rukia Kuchiki's imprisonment being falsified true, then I will void her execution based on Captain Tōsen's and Captain Ichimaru's testimonies."

Silas accepted that answer, remaining calm and collective throughout. Genryūsai's judgment didn't at all bother him, despite how much evidence was in front of everyone. After all, the amount of truth he revealed in one night was a lot to take in—even for the likes of Genryūsai, the only authority left in the Seireitei.

Though Silas managed to sway the minds of most of the Seireitei, he was surely going to be questioned later. These things, however, were not of importance. Sōsuke Aizen, the antagonist of this world, was dead.
