Everyone in the guild were staring at the group that just got there, their expression were of complete shock after all a random person just ripped their door off their hinges
"MASH!!!!" Mash's friends yelled at him for destroying the entrance of the guild
"Sorry..." Mash said while lowering his head saddened
Seeing the boy look sad like that made them feel bad somewhat, it was like seeing a dejected puppy, and no one likes seeing that
"T-there's no problem," a white-haired girl said while approaching them, she looked a little nervous about the whole situation "We have a wizard that has wood magic, she can fix it. Who are you?"
"I am Lance Crown." Lance took responsibility for the introductions, he didn't want the others to ruin everything "These are Mash Burnedead, Dot Barret, Lemon Lervi, and Finn Ames. We are here because we have an interest in joining your guild."
"Hi Lucy, Hi Natsu, Hi Happy." Mash waved at the people he meet yesterday
"H-hi..." Lucy said not knowing how to react
"oh, so you want to join the guild? Looks like we are gaining a lot of new members today! Of course, come, come. Say, where do you all want your guild marks?" the girl with white hair said while going to get what looked like a stamp
"Lance, are you sure this is a good idea?" Finn pulled Lance close and whispered to him
"It's our only choice. Now chose where you want your guild mark." Lance said and so went after the girl with white hair, Finn sighed and ended up doing the same
The five were having a conversation with the white-haired girl about what they would have to do now that they are part of the guild, but meanwhile, the other members were having their own conversations about them
"Natsu, do you know these guys?" a muscular man asked the dragon slayer
"I met them yesterday, two of them helped me in my fight against Bora on the ship. They seemed strong." Natsu said and then had an idea that made a devious smile appear on his face
"I have a bad feeling about this..." the muscular man said
But Natsu was already making his way towards the group who just got their guild marks, Mash having his on the back of his hand, Lemon having hers on her cheek, Lance on his right palm, Dot on his left palm, and Finn had his in his forearm, they were having a conversation about how cool their guild marks were until they noticed the Dragon Slayer's presence
"Hey, you two! Dot and Lance right? Let's fight!" Natsu said pointing at them
"No." Lance immediately declined, he didn't want to waste his time
"sorry kid, but the main character doesn't fight against extras." Dot said confidently
"Oi! The hell!? Do you think you're too good or something!? If the problem is that it is two against one I can fix that! Hey, Gray! Come here!" Natsu yelled
"No way, flame brain!" the so-called Gray yelled back
"It's not like he would make much of a difference." Lance said while shrugging, which seemed to annoy Gray
"What was that!? Now I'm in! I'll beat you, you arrogant prick!" Gray said while cracking his knuckles
"Why did you take off your shirt?" Lance asked confused and Gray noticed that he had indeed taken it off
"Now it's a fair fight! So, how is it going to be? Are you going to accept or are you too scared to do it!?" Natsu provoke the two, which seemed to have worked
"I see, this is the moment the protagonist beats up the annoying superiors and shows how strong he is. Alright, I accept!" Dot said annoyed
"Tsk. Come, but when I wipe the floor with you, don't cry." Lance said while pulling his wand from out of his pocket
"We just got here and we are already getting in a fight!?" Finn yelled in shock
"That's Natsu, trying to fight who he thinks is strong." laughed a little at the boys' attitude

The entire guild was outside now, ready to see the fight between two of the newbies against Gray and Natsu, Master Makarov didn't even try to stop them because he knew it would be pointless and also he wanted to see how strong these newbies were, even though he would never admit it out loud
"The two newbies have no chance against Natsu and Gray together." Jet said
"I would be surprised if they could last ten seconds against them." Droy said
"Wanna bet?" Cana said while taking a sip from a barrel of beer
"You three..." Levy sighed seeing how the three were acting
"I hope they don't get hurt," Mash said in his monotone voice
"I wonder how all of this happened..." Lucy trying to understand everything
"What a manly battle! When Natsu and Gray fight together, only a team of real men could fight them!" Elfman said while flexing his muscles
The four combatants were ready to begin their fight, Lance and Dot already had information about one of them so they could plan around this, Natsu had a basic idea about their magic so he knew who he should go against. And so the fight began
"Graviole." Lance said pointing his wand to the front and so a purple beam hit Natsu and pushed him back "The dragon in mine."
"Gravity magic!? That is an incredibly powerful magic!" Levy said surprised
"You don't have to only worry about him! Ice-Make: Hammer!" Gray said putting his hands together, one with a closed fist and another one open, making a magic circle appear and a massive ice hammer to fall in the direction of the two boys
"Explomb!" but Dot intercepted it with a fireball, that after cutting the hammer, exploded and destroyed it completely
"Fire magic! I understand, since they heard about Natsu yesterday they planned for Lance to fight Natsu while Dot takes care of Gray!" Lucy said surprised, not only did she now know Gray's magic but also Dot and Lance's too, she didn't really pay attention to it yesterday thanks to everything that was happening at the time
Lance jumped toward Natsu who was printing back at him, and so Lance pointed his wand down
"Graviole." and so a purple beam covered Natsu and now threw him against the ground with great force
"Ow! How annoying!" Natsu said trying to get up
"Good luck. I put enough force to crush a normal human in this spell, you won't be able to get up." Lance said but was soon proven wrong because Natsu was indeed getting up
"Don't underestimate me!" Natsu yelled and created flames from the bottom of his feet, propelling him forwards and allowing him to try to punch Lance
The blue-haired boy managed to dodge by a small amount but the fist ended up hitting the floor, which shot up a few pebbles, Lance rolled on the ground and pointed his wand to the right
"Graviole." the purple beam once again covered Natsu and now pushed him to the side but this time he managed to put his feet on the ground and began spilling flames from his elbows to propel him forwards
"This won't work on me!" Natsu said but soon a few pebbles started to hit him with great force thanks to the gravitational pull that was pushing him back
"You were saying?" Lance asked raising an eyebrow, he soon pointed his wand up, which made the beam change directions, sending Natsu to the skies, and then pointed his wand down making the Dragon Slayer fall down with such strength that a small hole was made
"Damn! The boy is doing well against Natsu! He even managed to take him down while not being hit once!" Wakaba said surprised
"Lance really is super strong, right Mash?" Lemon asked excitedly seeing her friend winning
"For sure," Mash said, giving the blonde a thumbs up
With Dot and Gray, their battle was way more aggressive, with Dot throwing fireballs nonstop at Gray so he didn't have enough time to attack
"Take that you bastard! Do you think just because you are handsome that you can go around showing off your body!? Fuck off you piece of shit! I hate handsome guys like you! Your type makes me sick!" Dot yelled incredibly mad at Gray
"The hell are you talking about!?" Gray yelled back not having the smallest idea of what he was talking about
"DIE YOU SHITTY PRETTY BOY!" Dot yelled again while throwing even more fireballs at him
"Dot..." Finn said with no reaction, and so did the entire guild
"God damn this kid! Ice-Make: Cannon!" Gray said while making a cannon in his hand, which blasted and ice blast at the fireball, neutralizing it
"You will need a lot more than that to-what?" Dot was saying but then he noticed the magic circle below him
"Ice-Make: Geyser!" Gray said and so a massive ice eruption happened right below Dot's feet, propelling him up with great force
"Shit!" Dot yelled while being sent flying
"Now you're done, kid." Gray saw him falling, but he was suddenly caught by surprise
"Don't underestimate me, you shitty pretty boy! Machine Gun Explomb!!!!" Dot yelled and pointed his wand at Gray, even while falling he wouldn't give up, and so a massive amount of fireballs were blasted at Gray at alarming speeds
"What!?" Gray said in shock
"Die one hundred times!" Dot yelled and so the fireballs hit their target and caused a massive explosion where Gray was
"He managed to take an attack from Gray! This kid is super resistant!" Redus said shocked
"How manly!" Elfman flexed his muscles
"They're really lasting, huh?" Cana said making Jet and Droy nervous
"The fight is not yet over." Mash said making them all look at him confused
Dot fell on the ground but it didn't take long for him to get up, shaking his head quickly so he could focus his thoughts, he then pointed at the smokescreen in a confident manner
"Take that you shitty pretty boy! How about it Lemon, what did you think?" Dot said but before he could turn to Lemon to hear her answer he saw an ice blast coming his way, he managed to barely dodge out of the way "What!?"
"Ice-Make: Shield." Gray said with the smokescreen disappearing and showing an ice barrier where he was, showing that he took zero damage "You'll need more than that to beat me, kid."
"Shit! I wanna see you handle another one! Machine Gun Explomb! Take this, you shitty pretty boy!" Dot yelled and threw various fireballs at him
"You can come with everything you got! Ice-Make: Cannon!" Gray yelled back and made a bunch of ice cannon around him, each one blasting ice blasts that managed to cancel out Dot's fireballs
"Hmm… For me to win the bet he still has to last a little more… I know!" Cana said, putting her beer barrel to the side and screaming "Hey Dot! If you win I'll give you a kiss!"
"Cana!" Levy yelled at her but Cana had a confident smile on her face, when Levy looked back at the fight she saw a powerful and flaming aura emanating from Dot
"GRAAAAAAAH!!!!" the promise of a kiss from a beautiful older woman gave him a massive amount of determination and made it so that an even bigger amount of fireballs were thrown against Gray "I WON'T LOSE!!!!"
"God dammit Cana!" Gray yelled and created even more cannon to hold back Dot's blasts, and were starting to get overwhelming
"And done. I won the bet!" Cana said with a smile and both hands on her hips
"THAT'S CHEATING!" Jet and Droy yelled at her
Gray was being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of fireballs coming his way, but at least the boy was so focused on attacking that he made himself vulnerable, and Gray took that opportunity
"Ice-Make: Knuckle!" Gray yelled and three ice knuckles came from below Dot, hitting him and sending him flying up, until he fell on the ground defeated "This kid… got that strong... just because… Cana promised him a kiss… How ridiculous!" Gray said panting, he couldn't believe what just happened
With Natsu and Lance, the Dragon Slayer was having trouble getting up thanks to the gravitational pressure being put on him but Natsu wasn't going to be beaten that easy, he had managed to get on his knees and lift his head up to look at Lance, which was already enough
"Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu yelled and then blasted a massive amount of fire from his mouth, which Lance managed to dodge with a jump to the side
"Damn it!" Lance said noticing how close that was to hitting him
"Gotcha!" Natsu said now managing to run out of the beam and get close to Lance
"Graviole!" Lance said pointing his wand forwards, creating a gravitational force so strong that the purple beam was five times bigger than before, the force was so great that the floor was being thrown back along with Natsu
But the fire Dragon Slayer wasn't going to give up yet, he started to release fire from his feet and elbows to try to propel himself forwards but the force was being too much for him, but he still didn't give up
"Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu yelled while doing a flip and stopping the flames on his feet and elbows, and blasted fire from his mouth, which was enough to make him get close to Lance
"No. Graviole Sec-!" Lance didn't even manage to finish speaking
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Natsu yelled and hit Lance with a flaming punch directly in his stomach, his spell being canceled and him being thrown back to where Dot was, also defeated
"It's over. The winners are Gray and Natsu!" Makarov said, which made the other members cheer, that battle was awesome!
"It was obvious that they were going to win but those two newbies did very well against them! They were super manly!" Elfman said flexing his muscles
"Those four are that strong!?" Lucy said shocked by Natsu, Gray, Lance, and Dot's strength, those guys were scary
Mash, Lemon, and Finn went to check on their friend to see if they were okay and they kinda were, they were kinda hurt but still conscious
"Shit! That shitty pretty boy beat me!" Dot said annoyed while getting up
"Tsk..." Lance didn't even say anything, he just got up and cleaned up his clothes
"Hey, you two! That was a great fight! You two are super strong!" Natsu told them with a smile
"I have to agree with flame brain over here. And hey, welcome to Fairy Tail!" Gray told them with a smile
"Wait, what did you call me, ice stripper!?" Natsu angrily yelled at Gray
"What was that living bonfire!? Want to get beat up!?" Gray shot back and so they began to fight
"I hope you four can be friends someday." Mash told Dot and Lance
"No." Lance immediately declined
"I'll never be friends with that shitty pretty boy! I'm the protagonist! I should have won! This is not the place for-" Dot was starting to yell a bunch of nonsensical things but then Cana approached them
"Hey guys, I'm Cana and I just came to do a quick little thing. Hey, Dot, you might not have won but you made me win a bet, so here is your reward." Cana said and gave Dot a kiss on the cheek, and so she left to go back to the inside of the guild and count the money she got "Later!"
"Eh... Dot?" Finn looked at his red-haired friend worried, after all he was with his hand on his cheek and making a weird expression
"You know what, I think I like this place." Dot said, looking at his friends with a dumb smile on his face
"Shut up." Lance said directly
"What was that, siscon!?" Dot yelled at him
With Dot and Lance yelling at each other along with Natsu and Gray doing the same, the three mages sighed in defeat
"Now we have to deal with twice the amount of this..." Finn said
"Yep..." Lemon falava
"Damn." Mash falava
