It was now morning, Erza had stayed up all night waiting for Gray to come while the others used the time left to sleep, they needed rest after such a long day of fighting. After some time a noise was heard at the entrance to their tent which caused Erza to glare in that direction
"Erza!!!!" Gray yelled, having just now entered the tent
The others woke up the moment he screamed, it looked like things were about to get bad once again
"Mash!!! Everyone!!!" Gray yelled shocked
"Good Morning." Mash said
"Can you not be so loud?" Lance complained
"I got the whole story from Lucy." Erza began "Weren't you supposed to stop them? That goes for you too, Abyss." Abyss looked away from her "I'm too shocked to even say a word…"
"Wh-where's Natsu?" Gray asked looking around
"That's what I'd like to know." Erza said keeping up her glare
"Didn't you just say you were too shocked to speak?" Mash asked
"Not the time."
"Oh, ok."
"Lucy, what happened to Natsu?" Gray asked worried
"I don't know… He was supposedly fighting one of Reitei's men after Dot blew us all up and got us separated, So I have no idea where he is or what happened to him." Lucy said looking down
"You did what!?" Gray looked at Dot
"Alright… I'll take a little bit of the blame for that one…" Dot said not looking at Gray
"We came back to the village to look for him but there was nothing there, so then she asked us to take her to where you were…" Lucy said defeated
"But this is some kind of storage room… How did you find it?"
"I looked for it while flying. I was still tied up tho." Happy said blinking twice
"That means Natsu is still wandering around without knowing where to go!" Erza said widening her eyes
"Oh great, now we have an idiot on the loose." Lance sighed, this was just becoming an even bigger headache by the second
"Gray, we are going to look for Natsu. The moment we find him, we are returning to the guild." Erza said with a stern glare
Gray flinched after hearing that, they all did, well… all except for Mash, he just looked at Erza confused
"Wh-what are you talking about, Erza? If you heard our story then you must know what is happening on this island, right?" Gray said sweating
"So what?" Erza said sternly
Gray widened his eyes in shock, was Erza being serious right now? Did she actually not care for any of these people!? Lucy was shaking her head, it was as if she was begging them to not fight right now. Mash was still confused while looking at Erza, something about this just wasn't right…
"I only came here to take back whoever broke the guild's rules. Natsu is the only one left. I have zero interest in anything else." Erza said maintaining her stance
"Didn't you see the appearance of the people on this island?" Gray argued
"I did."
"So you are telling us to leave them like that!?"
"This job request was made to all guilds. Wouldn't it be more logical to leave this matter to a mage from a guild that actually accepted this job?" Erza said
"I'm disappointed in you… Erza." Gray said strained causing everyone there to widen their eyes in shock
Did… Did Gray just talk like that to Erza!?
"What?" Erza's eyebrow twitched
"Gray!?!? What are you saying to Miss Erza!?" Happy yelled
"Miss…?" both Lucy and Dot asked
"If you are going to break the guild's rules…" Erza said angrily and summoned a magic sword, pointing it at Gray's neck "You won't get away unharmed."
Mash immediately began to get up, as if he was getting ready to dash at Erza, but since he was tied up to Lucy and Happy they were also taken up. Lucy began to try and get out of the ropes so she wouldn't be a part of their other fight, if she was this close to it she would for sure die! Happy just accepted his fate…
But then something weird happened… Gray grabbed Erza's blade with his hand shocking even Erza herself
"Do whatever you want, this is what I choose!" Gray said, determined and with his hand beginning to bleed "I just gotta do what I gotta do."
Erza was just too stunned to speak, she couldn't believe what she had just seen… She pulled her sword back, taking it away from Gray's hand
"I'll do what I want until the end. Cut me down if it is what you want." Gray said turning around and leaving the tent
Everyone was shocked by Gray's actions, he had actually done it… He stood up to Erza and went to do what he wanted to…
"H-h-hey Erza… Calm down…" Lucy said nervously
"Gray just lost his old friend, and he is just so sentimental right now." Happy added
"Yeah, just give him a little break, it will be alright." Dot said trying to ease the tension
Erza turned around with shadows over her eyes making them yelp, she raised her blade at them making their faces go as white as a sheet of paper
"WAIT! ERZA, WAIT!" Lance yelled
"I'M TOO YOUNG AND HANDSOME TO DIE!" Dot screamed
"PROTECT ME, MASH!" Lucy said trying to make herself smaller so Mash would take the hit for her
And then Erza slashed them… but instead of them being cut, the ropes that tied them up were… Erza made her sword disappear and turned around
"This is absurd." Erza said while they still recovered from their confusion "We'll take care of everything after the job is done."
That got a smile from the group, they got up and began to follow Erza
"Don't misunderstand, you will all still receive punishment for this." Erza said coming to a sudden halt
"Aye…" was their answer, instead of Mash and Abyss, with Abyss' reason being that he is incapable of communicating with a woman
They then went back to walking with Mash going to Erza's side with a curious look
"Were you testing him?" Mash asked
"...Who knows." was Erza's answer
Mash didn't know what to take from that, he decided not to think that much about it, this kind of stuff is what he really doesn't understand yet…

They were now running behind Gray, trying to catch up to him while they looked for Natsu, even if where he was is a little obvious
"Natsu is most likely going after Lyon, We have to get there fast!" Gray said
"I can get us there right now." Lance said taking out his wand
"You can!?"
"Yeah. Telepourtz." Lance said while moving his wand, suddenly they were all surrounded by a green flame and swallowed by it, the flames suddenly dialed down, and now they were in front of the temple
"Oh yeah! I forget we can use other kinds of magic…" Dot said realizing what had happened
"You can use teleportation!?" Lucy yelled surprised
"Yes."
"Why didn't you tell us before!? We could have come here and beat that Reitei guy so much earlier!"
"You didn't ask." Lance actually had forgotten that he could do that until right now, maybe they rely a little too much on their personal magic
"Is the tower tilted?" Abyss asked confused
"So Natsu is here, this kind of destruction is his trademark." Erza said crossing her arms
"Then let's go! We have no time to waste!" Gray said and ran inside the temple with the others following right behind
"Hey, Gray, what is that guy's plan anyway?" Lance asked curious
"He wants to defeat Deliora. That is his only intention." Gray answered
"Just that!?" Lucy yelled
"Why would he want to fight something like that? Lucy told us it was frozen." Mash said confused
"To surpass our master, Ur. Lyon has been aiming to surpass her for a long time, and now that she's gone he is trying to surpass her by defeating the monster she wasn't able to." Gray explained
"I see… To surpass someone who is already dead, that would be the only way." Lucy said looking down
"Aye."
"What a dick! He is trying to release the thing your master died sealing to protect everyone, just to fight it and prove he is strong!? That guy has something wrong with his head!" Dot said angrily
"No, he just doesn't know…" Gray began confusing the group
"Eh?"
"Ur did disappear but… She's still alive!" Gray explained to them shocking all of them
"What do you mean? What happened in the past?" Erza asked
"Yeah, I'm confused." Mash added
"Ten years ago…" Gray began to explain the situation "Deliora attacked my village, it was almost completely destroyed. But then she appeared. She and Lyon saved me, and that is where everything began. She trained me and Lyon, but I was too focused on my revenge, so I ran away and tried to fight Deliora on my own. Ur came after me and then…"
"Gray…" Lucy said in a worried tone
The story was interrupted when a bunch of cultist-like people came running towards them
"We found you, Fairy Tail!"
"Uwah!" Lucy screamed in fear
"So Lyon men are just a bunch of weirdos." Lance said readying his wand
"Go." Erza said, turning to face the grunts "Leave this to me."
"Erza…" Gray widened his eyes
"Go and settle this with Lyon." Erza said and so Gray ran as fast as he could through the temple
"Alright. Let's deal with these-" Mash began until he took a step forward and the ground beneath him gave him, causing him to fall downward towards the cave under the temple
"Mash!!" Dot yelled
"Not the time to worry about him, we have our own problems." Lance said getting ready for battle

Mash got up getting some ruble off of him, he was in some kind of cave structure now, this was weird… He began to walk around trying to find some way for him to get out of there, it was so empty and spacious…
"Creepy." Mash said
He continued walking and walking until he found a massive monster inside of an equally massive block of ice, that thing for sure gave this place an even deeper vibe
"Beautiful, isn't it?" a voice said, causing Mash to turn around to see who was talking
Mash saw a man wearing a long black robe, long silvery-white hair, red eyes, and the most surprising of all… Two lines on his face, them being right under his eyes and looking like arrows on a clock
"More creepy than anything. Who are you?" Mash said taking a step back
"No one important at the moment." the person said calmly walking right beside Mash
"You're from where I'm from." Mash stated the obvious
"Indeed. We are from the same world." the person said with a sly smile
"World?"
"This is a different dimension to ours. Magic is something so wonderful and powerful, that if you have enough of it, you can even travel between dimensions." the person explained, for some reason, Mash could feel some arrogance coming from them
"But how?"
"Is a lost form of magic in our world. So powerful that no being was able to use it. That is until I found it, Dimentios, dimension magic, magic so powerful that only I can use its potential. How incredible, isn't it?" the man said looking at Mash from the corner of his eye
"Alright… But why are you answering me? I don't know you." Mash said starting to get suspicious of this random man who appeared out of nowhere and was giving him crucial information about this and his place
"You don't know me but I know you. And I think a father talking with their son was a common way to bond." the person's smile got wider, an intimidating aura emanating out of him
"What?"
The person turned to the side and saw someone coming, it looked like this little visit was coming to an end rather quickly
"Look over there, a cream puff." the person said pointing to the side
"Where?" Mash immediately turned to where he pointed but saw nothing, when he turned back to the person they weren't there anymore "...What a weird jerk."
"Someone else already got here? Well, not like it matters." a weird old man wearing a mask came into the room causing Mash to turn toward them
"Oh, another midget like the master." Mash said automatically

The weird person was now in the middle of the forest, walking calmly through it with a familiar blonde man walking right behind him, twirling his wand and causing the day to turn into night, this should speed things up for them…
He could hear the temple somehow getting back to its original state causing him to give it a slight chuckle, so this world also had time magic… But it was clearly weaker than his by the display that was being shown. How amusing.
"Lord Innocent Zero, may I ask, why did you not just absorb Mash Burnedead right there?" Cell War asked
"No need to rush things. This world still has so many things for me to see, and I heard of a special 'Lacrima', as they call it, that will help us greatly. I plan to find some more of those before completing the absorption part of the plan." Innocent Zero explained
"Understood, a great plan, as usual, Lord Innocent Zero."
"Let's go. First, we'll use these lacrimas to strengthen Domina. Then my other sons shall get them as well." Innocent Zero smiled, surrounding himself and Cell War with green flames before disappearing "Let's see if this 'Dragon Slayer magic' is truly as powerful as they say…"

Back in the cave, Natsu came flying like a flaming missile trying to hit the weird old man
"Burn! Just burn!" Natsu screamed but the old man dodged
"Ho Ho, what a delightful thing to say!" the old man taunted
"Hi Natsu." Mash said waving at the dragon slayer
"Mash!? When did you get here!?" Natsu yelled confused
"I got here with Erza yesterday."
"ERZA'S HERE!?"
"Yep. You're in big trouble."
"As much as I enjoy seeing you two talk, I have a question. How did you find me, Natsu?" the old man said causing Natsu to snap out of his fear of Erza
"I have an excellent sense of smell! By the way, you smell like a woman!" Natsu yelled causing the old man to laugh "And Mash smells like burned cream puffs"
Mash kneeled on the ground in a deep depression after the reminder that his poor cream puff was burned
"Well, whatever, I have to revive Deliora right now, you see." the old man began
"Don't even bother, it's too late!" Natsu shot back
"And why is that?"
"Gray will beat Lyon, and I will beat you!" Natsu said, pointing at the old man "And that's the end of it!"
"And I'll help." Mash said getting over his sadness
"Is that so?" the old man said while looking up
Natsu got confused by that and so he turned around, Mash did the same to try and figure out what was happening, Natsu widened his eyes at what he saw while Mash just looked confused, the Moon Drip was hitting Deliora once more!
"What!? The light!? Someone is holding the ritual!?" Natsu screamed in confusion
"Toby is. The Moon Drip ritual is not as strong with only one person doing it, but to be honest we already have enough moonlight." the old man explained "It's starting. See?"
As the old man stopped talking the ice that encased Deliora began to melt causing Natsu and Mash to back away surprised
"Oh, crap! Deliora's ice is melting!" Natsu yelled
"That's bad." Mash said blinking twice "For how long have we been in this cave?"
"Shit! I screwed up! I have to go do something about the guy at the top!" Natsu said beginning to run to the exit with Mash following but soon both of them fell onto the ground, it was like the ground itself collapsed under them
"My… running away, are we? I won't let you." the old man said while smiling evilly, Natsu and Mash got up and glared at him "It was a mistake to come after me, Salamander."
Natsu looked at Deliora and saw that his shoulder was already out of the ice, they didn't have much time…
"Shit…"
"Don't worry." Mash said, cracking his knuckles "We just have to beat this guy up quickly and then go get that other one on top."
"Heh…" Natsu chuckled and ignited his fists "I like how you think, Mash. Let's beat this old fart and then stop this ritual!"
We are aproaching the end of this arc! And then in comes Phantom Lord!
How would you guys feel about more Mashle characters appearing? Like Margarette, Carpaccio, Levis, the other divine visionaries, and even Meliadoul and Wahlberg. Could some of them join Fairy Tail or other guilds? I won't make everyone that appears join Fairy Tail, place will get too crowded and I'll have problems writing for them...
Also, the new Mashle fanbook came out and we got some new information, like the name of Dot's thirds, Vulcanus, full names of a lot of characters and a lot more about their personalities and some other stuff. Like Finn liking DIY

Finn: I JUST FIXED THAT!!!!!
Lucy laughed (she wasn't laughing when they visited her house and Mash broke her front door, but Finn was.)
I thought about creating a Discord server for the fic, you know, for people who like the story to interact and have fun talking about the fic they like, and also talk about the new season of Mashle and Fairy Tail when they come out. But I don't think this fic is built with enough people who read it for it to work, but what do y'all think?
