Padme returned to her own apartment. Anakin had been off world fighting the separatists. She waited in her apartment for him to return. When Anakin returned, he had a scar over his left eye. "Anakin what happened? "Padme asked. "I got in a fight with Savage Opress and she cut me with her lightsaber. "Anakin said. They started kissing and ended up in bed. The next day Padme had morning sickness. She knew Luke and Leia had been conceived and that time was running out.
