Next morning, when Korra opened her eyes, she saw that she was laying behind Asami. She should really get a new bed; this bed was too small. At least being this close with Asami made her happy. This was difficult, yes this was very difficult. She was so close, and yet, so, so far away from Asami. Korra tried to move; she was unable to move, but her movements did produce a sound.

"Morning, Korra," said Asami. Korra put her hand around Asami's stomach; she didn't want to get out just yet. While she knew she had to get up since Tenzin told her that due to Lin stepping down from her position of Chief, the Council was about to appoint the new Chief of the Police. She had time; Korra knew she could still relax for a bit, laying in bed peacefully with Asami in front of her.

The pair lay in silence for several minutes. "I wonder what this new Chief will be like. I hope he supports me," said Korra. While Lin slowly began to work with her, Korra hoped that this new Chief would support her from the start.

"I hope so. They should respect non benders," said Asami; she sat on the bed and began dressing up. Korra rolled to the edge of the bed as well.

Several hours later, Korra stood next to Tenzin; the entire Council was there. Saikhan, the new Chief of Police, was giving a speech. At one point, much to Korra's annoyance, he began praising Tarrlok. "One man was effective against Amon. His name is Councilman Tarrlok. All matters that deal with the Equalists I will report directly to him. The police will lend all of our resources to Councilman Tarrlok and his Taskforce," said Saikhan.

Korra groaned. At least Lin had an independent mind. This Saikhan, he seemed to be Tarrlok's puppet. The Chief ended his speech, and the meeting ended.

"Tarrlok," said Korra, approaching the man. Tenzin and Asami followed her. "I don't know what kind of dirt you have on him –"

"Avatar Korra, has it ever occurred to you that the Chief recognizes what's best for this city? I have created the Taskforce, and I am willing to do what it takes to defeat Amon," said Tarrlok.

Korra glared at him. While she admitted that Tarrlok wanted to stop Amon and his Equalists, the man was manipulative. Korra was glad that Asami saved her from joining his Taskforce.

"As I understand, you will be joining my Taskforce, right?" Tarrlok asked.

"No," said Korra.

"No?"

"Leave my Korra alone, she doesn't want to work for you. Besides, you are the worst kind of bender, you want to oppress people like me," said Asami.

"You are right, I do want to oppress people like you," said Tarrlok. Korra gasped, his nerve!

"Tarrlok, that's enough. How dare you! My father and his friends worked hard to create this city and you want to oppress non benders," Tenzin said.

"Tenzin, you must have misunderstood me. I don't want to oppress non benders, I want to oppress people like Miss Sato, an Equalist sympathizer. I mean, common, she is the daughter of like second highest ranking Equalist. She must have "betrayed" her father for some nefarious goal," said Tarrlok

Korra had enough. She stood in front of Asami, glaring at Tarrlok. "Bub, I am the Avatar. If you as much as touch on hair on her head, I will –"

"You will do what, Avatar Korra. Must I remind you that while I am doing what's best for the city, you on the other hand are just half baked Avatar in training. Tell me, when was the last time you actually air bend? Made any significant progress? No? I didn't think so," said Tarrlok. "So excuse me, but unlike others, I have work to do. I am actually doing things to protect this city."

Tarrlok walked away. Korra frowned, maybe he was right, maybe she was a half-baked Avatar. Yes, she couldn't even air bend. She was a failure; she couldn't save anyone. Perhaps she should just leave the Republic City and return to be with her parents.

"Korra, why are you so gloomy? Tarrlok is just trying to make you upset," said Asami, putting both of her hands on Korra's shoulders. "You are not the half-baked Avatar in training. You are Korra, my best friend. It's okay, you will learn how to air bend."

"Of course you will," said Tenzin. "My father, Avatar Aang struggled with earth bending. He struggled with deciding how to end the 100 year war. It's wasn't easy, but he succeeded. And you will also succeed, Korra, I believe in you. While Tarrlok was right, you cannot actually bend any air, you mastered all the movements that befits an air bending master. And I am proud that your fighting lessons with Miss Sato helped you achieve that."

Korra smiled. "Thank you both in believing in me," said Korra.

"As for you, Miss Sato, I don't think that you are an Equalist. You are partially reminding me of an old friend of mine, Lord Zuko. He struggled with wanting for his father to love him, but he also had a strong sense of right and wrong. While you share a lot with him, unlike Lord Zuko you always knew what the right side is," said Tenzin. Korra knew this was a bit awkward, but Tenzin was a bit awkward. She knew that Tenzin was trying to cheer Asami, in his own Tenzin way.

"It was very hard for me to go against my father. While yes, the choice wasn't hard; I felt pain. My dad revealed himself to be an Equalist, and yes, the Equalists are less bad than Councilman Tarrlok and his manipulative ways, but I knew it wasn't right to pick either. No, and I didn't pick either. I picked Korra," said Asami. "And we, I don't know how, but we will end this conflict. And Tenzin, please call me Asami. I am Asami, I don't want to be associated with my father."

Tenzin nodded. "I have no doubt. Come, we should head back to Air Temple Island," said Tenzin. The three people climbed on Oogi and journeyed to Air Temple Island.

As they were flying, with Tenzin navigating Oogi, Korra noticed that Asami was looking at the city below it. Korra knew that Asami travelled in the airships before, but this was the first time her best friend was on the sky bison. Korra sat next to Asami, and pointed at Avatar Aang's statue.

"Asami, while I know that you are a skilled non bender, capable of defeating just about anyone, I noticed that you actually move just like an Airbender," said Tenzin.

"I know that my fighting and dancing lessons helped Korra with her exercises, but I … I just trained this way. I don't know, these avoiding moves just feel natural to me. It's how I evade before using counter attacks," said Asami.

"Interesting. I know you are not an air bender, but you, it just feels as if you are one, especially when you easily moved through the exercise; I don't remember hearing a non bender be that successful," said Tenzin.

Korra noticed that Asami smiled. While Tenzin and her didn't get along at first, Korra grew admiring and respecting her Air Bending master. She was also glad that with Asami's father's betrayal, Chief Beifong stepping down, and Tarrlok acting like an ass, that Asami could potentially look up to someone.

"Thank you, I didn't think what I did was special; I just reasoned since I was very skilled in melee combat, my skills translated to avoidance," said Asami.

"Perhaps. Regardless, if you want to see some of the Air Bending moves, I can show them to you. I know that you will not be able to bend, but perhaps you can supplement your own skills with air bending techniques," said Tenzin.

Asami smiled. "I would like that."

Korra sat on a hill, looking at the Republic City. She wanted to do something, but she felt she hasn't been going on enough patrols with Asami. She first had her pro bending matches, and then so many things happened … Korra just wanted to do something. While she knew that Asami and Tenzin tried to reassure her that Tarrlok was just being mean; he had a point. Korra didn't know air bending. She haven't achieved much.

"Are you okay?" Asami asked. Korra turned around and saw Asami, Mako, and Bolin behind her.

"I am fine," said Korra.

"Common, what's wrong, you can tell us," said Mako.

Korra sighed. "How am I supposed to protect the city when I can't even manage to learn air bending? I am the worst Avatar ever! I feel so useless," said Korra. A tear escaped her eye.

"No, that's nonsense, you are amazing," said Asami.

"And remember, Aang didn't master all the elements when he was fighting the Fire Nation. He was just a little kid," said Mako.

"And he wasn't alone, he had friends to help him," said Bolin. He smiled. "Remember the gala? You told Tarrlok that the new Team Avatar."

He did have a point. Maybe she wasn't the half-baked Avatar. She just needed to train some more, yes, Korra knew she will overcome her inability to air bend.

"Alright guys. Let's do this. Let's show the city what we can do," said Korra, looking at Naga. She climbed on her polar bear dog. Asami climbed next, then Mako, and then Bolin. Naga made a funny noise, and lay on her front paws, pushing the group on the ground.

"Eh, scratch that, any more ideas?" Korra asked.

"I have one. We can use my satomobile, but perhaps we take Naga too," said Asami. Naga approached Asami and licked her face. Naga was such a good girl, and while she was friendly to people, she seemed to like Asami a lot.

Korra noticed that Jinora glided towards them, landing next to Korra. "Can I come too? You are going on a city adventure, it's so mysterious and romantic," said Jinora.

"But aren't you like eight?" Bolin asked.

"I am ten!" Jinora said. "I am a very good Air Bender and can help."

"I would be a hypocrite to tell you to stay on the island; and you are almost as old as Aang was when he fought the Fire Lord. Okay, but stay close to Naga," said Korra.

The group approached Asami's personal satomobile. "Jinora, get on Naga; she will follow us," said Korra. Asami climbed on the driver's seat. Korra sat on the front passenger seat, while Mako and Bolin sat in the back.

Asami was driving in the city; she heard a police report on the radio. "I wondered why my dad installed these in his satomobiles, now I know –"

They arrived at a store, where some Equalists were fighting some Triads. Fighting was probably the wrong word, the Equalists were chi blocking and knocking the Triads.

"Hello," said Korra, jumping from the car on the pavement. The landing sent a shockwave of rocks travelling away from her, knocking down both the Equalists and the Triads members. Five of the Equalists jumped at her and tried to chi block Korra, but they were unable to land a single punch. Granted, once they realized their attacks were ineffective, they went on the defensive, and Korra too didn't manage to land any hits.

Asami stopped the car, and ran at the Equalists. With several hits she threw them on the ground, one by one. "Thanks," said Korra. Asami smiled.

Korra saw the remaining Equalists ran towards their car; Mako sent a lightning at the car. But the several Equalists still managed to get in the car. Bolin waved his hands and pointed at the pavement in front of the car; it turned into molten lava, surrounding the Equalist car from three sides. The Equalists promptly jumped away from their vehicle.

Korra sent several fire balls at them, knocking all the Equalists down.

"Team Avatar is seriously rocking tonight," said Bolin. Korra looked at him. "What? We are rocking, because two of us are Earth benders,"

"Bolin," said Mako.

"I read that Sokka used to make numerous jokes, especially that related to meat," said Jinora. "I do think it would be funnier if any of you actually used rocks instead of lava."

"See? Jinora thinks I am funny," said Bolin.

"You are funny, don't worry," said Korra. It was a cheesy joke, but it was a decent joke. But she agreed with Jinora, if they had actually used earth bending and not just lava bending it would be more appropriate.

Tarrlok's satomobile arrived on the scene. "What do you think you're doing?" Tarrlok asked, exiting his vehicle.

"Apparently doing your job," said Korra. "When we arrived here and defeated these Equalists, we didn't find any police officers or any members of your Taskforce. But we were here, and we protected people."

"Avatar Korra, this is your last warning. Stop this nonsense, and let me deal with fighting crime in this city," said Tarrlok, climbing into his satomobile, before driving away.

Korra and her friends stopped several more Equalist groups. The night was great. The group returned to Air Temple Island, enjoying their nightly patrol.

The next day, Asami joined Korra and Tenzin at her morning air bending exercises. Tenzin left early because of the council meeting. During the day, Korra sparred with Asami, while Bolin practiced his lava bending.

In the evening, Team Avatar once again drove around the city, saving criminals. At one point, Asami noticed a darker part of town; she drove there.

"Why is the power out?" Korra asked. This was strange, the other parts of the city had a lot of lights. Asami stopped the car. Korra noticed a crowd of people standing on the streets; metal benders were standing in front of the crowd.

"Wait a second, these people aren't armed or dangerous," said Asami.

"Sure doesn't look this way," said Mako.

Korra saw Chief Saikhan stand on a platform. "All you non benders, return to your homes immediately. This is your last warning. Disperse, or you will be arrested," said Saikhan. No, this couldn't be right. These people weren't Equalists, they were regular people. Why would Saikhan threaten them?

Korra noticed that people in the crowd spotted her. "Please help us, you are our Avatar too," said one woman in the crowd. Yes, she was their Avatar as well, and she had to do something.

"Everyone, please stay calm. I am going to put a stop to this," said Korra, walking away. Her friends followed. Korra looked around and noticed Tarrlok in a nearby tent. Yes, that's where she needed to go.

"Tarrlok, you need to turn the power back on and leave these people alone," said Korra.

"Avatar Korra, you and your playmates have no business here," said Tarrlok dismissively.

"We are not going anywhere. You don't have the right to treat these innocent people like as if they are criminals," said Korra, raising her voice.

"It's an Equalist rally, there is nothing innocent about any of this," said Tarrlok.

"They are not the Equalists, they are just normal people who want their rights back," said Korra. Tarrlok shook his head.

"They are the enemy. Round up all these Equalists," said Tarrlok, ordering the police to capture the protesters. The Metal Benders used various metal objects to create long circular disks that restricted their movements, then the Metal Benders used the earth under the protestors, rising them into the air.

"No," said Korra. She stepped forward, and moved her hands, lowering the rocks with people on them on the ground.

"Arrest her," said Tarrlok, pointing at Asami. Metal benders quickly put cuffs behind Asami's back.

"You cannot do this," said Korra, protesting the treatment of her friend.

"Oh, but I can. She is a non bender past curfew. And her father is a high ranking Equalist," said Tarrlok. Mako and Bolin tried to rescue Asami, but they also got arrested.

"Korra, it's okay. Use strategy, remember? Seek Tenzin, he will get us out," said Asami. Strategy, yes, this was a good idea. But seek Tenzin? He was already sleeping, and she couldn't just wait until morning. What if Tarrlok tortured her friends during the night? But brute force, no, strategy was the better option. But how?

"Avatar Korra, stand down. You have no authority here, you are a weak and useless half-baked Avatar in training," said Tarrlok.

"You are right that I haven't mastered air bending, I mean I cannot even air bend yet. But, you are wrong Tarrlok, I have the authority, I am the Avatar. You must respect me for being the Avatar," said Korra.

"Yeah, Councilman Tarrlok, it's the Avatar's job to bring balance to the world," said Jinora.

"Only when it concerns international politics. After all, Avatars Roku and Aang fought evil men to bring balance to the international politics. It's not in the Avatar's job description to deal with what's happening inside one city," said Tarrlok. Perhaps he was right, although Korra wasn't sure, she needed to ask her past lives, but her spiritual side was weak.

"Kiyoshi stopped Chin the Conqueror," said Jinora.

"Well, aren't you a smart little bookworm. But we are not dealing with any conquerors," said Tarrlok. Korra wanted to help, maybe she should resort to brute force. She couldn't wait until morning. If her father were here, he could her how he handled meetings with various chiefs of the Southern Water Tribe. Wait a second.

"Tarrlok, stand down," said Korra. "Or –"

"Or what, half-baked avatar," said Tarrlok with amusement.

"Or you will cause an international incident. Believe me, you are dangerously close to one," said Korra. Tarrlok laughed.

"Avatar Korra, just being the Avatar doesn't make going against you an international incident," said Tarrlok.

"I am Avatar Korra, yes, but I am the daughter of Tonraq. My Uncle is Chief Unalaq of the Northern Water Tribe, which makes me a princess. Stand down, or I will make you regret this. You cross me, I will drag the Southern Water Tribe into this," said Korra.

"You are bluffing," said Tarrlok.

"Try me. You know what bub? I am so done with this. I am the princess of the Southern Water Tribe. My teacher is the leader of the Air Nomads. You cannot touch me. And as the princess, I give protection to my friends," said Korra.

She pointed her hands at the metal cuffs on Asami, Mako, and Bolin's hands, easily breaking them, and throwing the cuffs away. She looked at Jinora, who nodded and used her air bending glider, which was currently in the form of a think wooden plank, and sent a wave of air at the people behind her friends. Asami, Mako, and Bolin ran towards Korra.

"Capture them," said Tarrlok.

"So that's how we will play," said Korra. She looked at Mako. While she knew she could do it, she didn't want to cause much damage to the officers. "Use lightning to stun."

Mako nodded and shot lightning at the Metal Benders in front of them. They screamed and fell on the ground.

"Bolin? Lava please," said Korra.

Bolin smiled and extended his hands, creating lava in between the Team Avatar and Tarrlok. Lava pools widened. Korra would ask Bolin to show her more about lava bending; she wanted to learn it.

"Princess Korra of the Southern Water Tribe, take me as your graceful servant," said Bolin, bowing to Korra. He then stood up, and they laughed.

"So now what?" Asami asked.

"We are going to ask for help. I will let my father know I need at least some forces from the Southern Water Tribe, at least to show Tarrlok we mean business. While technically Aid Nomads are their own nation, Jinora, I don't want to drag your family into this," said Korra.

"That's okay. But I can still help. We defied Tarrlok; I am not sure we can stay at the Air Temple right now. We need to get somewhere and strategize," said Jinora.

"I know that Varrick is supposed to arrive to the Republic City; he probably didn't hear about the Equalist attack, and is thinking about his upcoming meeting with my father," said Asami.

"That's great. I am sure that Varrick will help us somehow. He is a very successful businessman, and he can come up with very strange yet effective ideas," said Korra.

"Tarrlok is but one Councilman. He doesn't represent the entire council. We can contact General Iroh; my father once worked with him on some custom order. Council, wait, oh I know where we are heading tomorrow," said Asami. "I will speak to the Council about Tarrlok abusing his authority."

"Okay guys, we need to find shelter," said Mako.

"The car! We left the car on the other side," said Bolin sadly.

"It's alright we can walk," said Korra. Naga jumped towards them and licked Korra's face. "Oh hey Naga, good girl."

Naga lay on the ground. Korra climbed on her back, with her friends then climbing on her. This time, even Jinora joined, but Naga stood firm on her paws; she began running away from the lava, which began to cool off.

Naga kept running into the forest. "I have a hidden house in the mountains. My parents and I used to visit it when I was little. Let's spend a night there before we return to the city tomorrow," said Asami.

"Sounds good. We can practice more bending; I am curious to learn more about lava bending, and out there, I wouldn't be as scared to unleash lava," said Korra. Naga kept running and running.

They arrived at a small house an hour later. It had two levels; once they entered, Korra saw a small kitchen, a dining room, four bedrooms. Mako, Bolin, and Jinora each picked a room, Korra wanted to be with Asami. Korra was glad that they had a decent dinner; there was no food in the house.

Korra and Asami sat on the bed. "Thank you for protecting me from this Tarrlok. While I could have defended myself, I was worried. I couldn't just fight him, it would give him even more reason to hate me. But I was also worried; he hates benders, he specifically named me as the daughter of Hiroshi Sato. I was afraid he would torture me," said Asami, hugging Korra. Korra hugged Asami back.

"Korra?" The door opened, and Korra saw Jinora enter. "I heard many stories about my grandfather, and I read a lot about the previous Avatars. They always did what they felt was right; all of them struggled with something. But all Avatars grew powerful, they all mastered all four bending disciplines."

"Thank you Jinora," said Korra.

"Tarrlok was wrong, you are the Avatar. Your job is to protect and bring balance to the world, no matter what some people like Tarrlok say," said Jinora. She put her hand on Korra's shoulder smiling. "If we cannot get back to Air Temple Island tomorrow, and reunite with my dad, I can teach you Air Bending."

"I will do my best to learn from you, Sifu Jinora," said Korra. "I just wish I could speak with Aang and seek his wisdom."

Jinora was looking at Korra. Suddenly everything went dark, and Korra disappeared. Jinora was worried, what if Equalists found this house; in theory, they could have known about it if Asami's father told about it. But nobody followed them, so she wasn't sure what was happening.

"Jinora," said an image of a man in his forties? Jinora couldn't tell exactly, but she knew who he was. She read so much about her grandfather.

"Aang!" Jinora said.

"Jinora, the current team Avatar is doing good work. But Korra needs to know the truth. This information will help you all to understand your enemy," said Aang.

"Grandfather, I don't understand. I told Korra I will teach her Air Bending in case we cannot get back to the temple –"

"Don't worry, you will be a great teacher. But what I am about to tell you will drastically alter the understanding of the whole conflict. Korra is still weak with her spiritual connections, so I don't have long to talk to you through her. Tell her, Yakone had two sons, Noatak and Tarrlok, and they ended up on the different sides of the conflict. Both of them inherited their father's bending," said Aang, disappearing.

"I will tell Korra that," said Jinora, as Aang's image disappeared.

Korra looked at Jinora, who stood up and took a step away. "Um Jinora, what happened? Why did you tell me "I will tell Korra that." Tell me what?" Korra asked. She was puzzled, it was as if someone spoke to Jinora several moments prior.

"Korra, I don't know how, but I think … by putting my hand onto yours, I somehow connected to Aang, briefly, but it was enough for me to learn something. He told me that Yakone had two sons, Noatak and Tarrlok, and they ended up on different sides of the conflict, and that they could bend … wait, Yakone was a blood bender. Councilman Tarrlok is a blood bender?" Jinora asked.

"Two sons, you mentioned two sons. Who is Noatak, I never heard of him," said Asami.

"Yeah, me neither. At least we know that Tarrlok is a blood bender, and we can tell it to him tomorrow to shut him up," said Korra, smiling.

"Korra, just because Tarrlok knows how blood bend, he hasn't actually blood bent. While we can tell him that we know about his secret, it's part of who he is. As far as we know, he hasn't used it," said Asami.

"You are right. Hey, that time we talked to Lin about improving Metal Bender uniforms, Mako and I kissed. Both of us thought that it felt really strange, as if our bodies weren't responding, but I wasn't sure what exactly happened. Could Tarrlok have blood bent us?" Korra asked.

"I don't think so. He was in the building, and he wouldn't have a motive. While he theoretically could, he was standing too far, no, it has to be someone else," said Asami.

"Wait, Korra and Mako kissed?" Jinora asked with a thrown. "Aww, but I wrote so many stories about Korrasami. Asami, maybe the person who blood bent Korra was trying to make you jealous? Or angry, yeah maybe they wanted to make you angry."

"Jealous?" Asami blushed. "Why would someone want to make me angry by showing me an image of Korra and Mako kissing, knowing it would actually upset me, so I would think poorly of Korra and not consider her a friend, so that if a time came and I had to choose between Korra and, wait a second, no, no."

Korra saw that Asami was crying. "Asami, is everything alright? Who hurt you? I will punch them, nobody hurts my Asami. Heck, I will wait until the next full moon and blood bend them," said Korra. She saw that Asami lifted her head; tears still escaping her eyes.

"Korra, very shortly after I saw the scene of you and Mako kissing, my father asked me to join him. I bet he thought by seeing you kiss Mako, it would make me hate you and feel betrayal, so that if I had to choose between you and him, knowing about your "betrayal" would push me into his hands. Oh no, father, what have you done. But, my dad, he is not a bender, how could he –"

"Amon," said Korra. "It makes all sense now. Yakone was a blood bender, he had two sons. Tarrlok and Noatak are literally on the opposite sides of this conflict. Tarrlok controls corrupt Taskforce and the police force under weak Chief Saikhan, and Noatak is … Amon. That doesn't matter, tomorrow I will tell everyone that both of them are Yakone's sons and blood benders."

"But Korra, even if we did that, it would accomplish nothing. We don't have evidence that Tarrlok actually used blood bending, and even if he did, we have to show he used it to harm others, not protect himself. I do think we could find some dirt on him. And Amon … look Korra, yes he is blood bender, a bender, and the leader of the Equalists. But, he is a bender and an Equalist, and I am a non bender and a part of team Avatar. Just telling the truth about his bending won't stop the Equalist cause. No, we need to show that Amon is wrong. We need to show that Tarrlok is wrong,"

"I don't think it's a good idea to return to the city tomorrow," Korra said. "This new information changes everything. We cannot just return; Tarrlok is a blood bender. Hmm."

"I agree. In desperation he might use it against us. We need to get reinforcements, so that we can fight both Amon and Tarrlok, and after we defeat them, we need to find a way to show that the Equalist cause is wrong. Look Korra, we will fight them, that is inevitable, but winning this war will require us showing that the Equalists are wrong, while also showing that non benders should be treated fairly."

"Korra, I must go and prepare for sleep, but know this. My grandfather, Avatar Aang, when was ready to face the Fire Lord Ozai, everyone told him he had to kill Ozai, or Aang would not survive. But Aang found another way to resolve the 100 year war peacefully," said Jinora. "And I am sure you will figure out how to resolve the conflict. Besides, Asami will be there."

Jinora walked away. She was right, Korra knew that she would find a way to stop this conflict. She was worried though that Asami didn't like her. Yes, they were sleeping together, but Asami needed comfort. It wasn't like Asami liked her, oh no. And Amon wanting to make Asami jealous? Heck, she even blushed. Obviously Asami was jealous. Eh, Korra knew that Asami liked Mako, and that was okay; Korra was the Avatar after all, and sometimes doing what was right was also painful. And if her Asami was happy with Mako, she would let her be happy with Mako. Asami deserved to be happy.

Korra and Asami climbed into the bed. Asami climbed first, and lay on her side, facing the wall. Korra climbed next, and lay behind Asami. "I am cold," said Asami, moving her legs towards Korra's, and crawling closer to her body; they made skin contact. Korra was wondering why Asami was cold, maybe she ate something; the room temperature was quite warm in the house, since it was a well heated house.

Korra decided to warm up Asami a bit more. She put her left hand on Asami's stomach. She relaxed; they will figure out how to stop Amon, but for now, Korra wanted to sleep. And Asami was so beautiful and soft. Thinking how smart and beautiful Asami was, Korra drifted asleep.
