Alex and Lena were working in the DEO lab. "Careful with this equipment," said Alex, looking at Lena working in the lab.

"Don't worry, I know how to use a lot of tech, and if I don't, I can quickly learn how to use it," said Lena.

The two women wanted to improve the tech that the DEO agents used, and while Alex knew xenobiology and bioengineering better than Lena, Lena was much better at pure physics and non-biological science. Already, Lena improved the computer software at the DEO.

Alex and Lena continued to work for a few more hours. Kara was still busy helping Cat, although Kara texted Alex that Cat asked Kara to do things an assistant would not normally do, leaving those tasks to Eve, while Kara felt she was basically doing Cat's job, while Cat was just standing with Kara, looking how well Kara was doing the tasks Cat had given her that day.

Maggie was working with her fellow officers in stopping a robbery. Alex got a text that Maggie would later head to take a shower and spend some time in the park, resting after she would complete her work.

Two hours later, both women decided to take a break. "Thank you for your help. I examined the blood samples, and created a vaccine for a few groups of aliens," said Alex.

"Thanks. I will use this vaccine to help treat those infected. I will first offer it to alien children who came from those planets at my children's hospital, and then will provide this vaccine for the rest of the alien population, free of charge," said Lena.

"Okay. Enough doing science things, I need to help you get better at self-defense," said Alex.

"More science?" Lena suggested.

"Nope. Show me how good you are at defending yourself. We will use the Green Room, so that I won't have my Kryptonian advantages," said Alex.

"Fine, but we will be working on improving more tech later," said Lena.

Alex shook her head. Lena could be such a nerd. Alex herself liked to do science, especially bioengineering and medicine, but Lena's desire to just study and study science was too much even for Alex.

Alex led Lena to the locker rooms, where they changed into DEO uniforms, and then entered the Green Room. Alex put her two feet firmly on the ground and taunted Lena.

Kara arrived forty-five minutes later. She searched for her sister, and after Susan told her that Alex was sparring with Lena, Kara flew to the Green Room to check on her sister, and her best friend.

When Kara arrived, she saw Alex and Lena sparring, although by now it was very one sided. Lena once again fell on the floor, and Alex grabbed her arm, not allowing Lena to stand up. After holding Lena for thirty seconds, Alex stood up and prepared to defend Lena's next attack.

Lena threw her leg, trying to punch Alex in the stomach. Kara watched her sister sparring with Lena, mainly looking at Lena. Kara just stood frozen for a few seconds, admiring how well Lena was fighting, smiling.

"Oh, hey Kara," said Alex.

"Alex, Lena, how are you doing Lena? Oh wow, you were fighting so well," said Kara, smiling dreamily.

"I was teaching Lena how to better defend herself. I guess I will be going. I will see you both soon," said Alex, grabbing a towel, and leaving the room.

"You fought so well," said Kara.

"Thanks. Your sister is so good, even without her powers. While she believes that I can learn how to defend myself, her training exercises are exhausting," said Lena. She sighed, grabbed her DEO uniform and took the shirt off, revealing her sports bra. Sweat covered Lena's entire body.

"I, I will wait for you outside," said Kara. Her face turned red. Kara couldn't look at Lena directly anymore.

"Are you okay, Kara?" Lena asked.

"I am. I will see you in a second," said Kara, quickly flying away from the Green Room, far away from Lena. But even as Kara landed in her apartment, she couldn't remove the images she just received. Kara then immediately flew away from her apartment, and flew to the north pole, where she just dove into the icy cold water, trying to relax. Once she felt better, Kara rose in the air, and returned to the National City.

When Kara arrived at the DEO, Alex and Lena were once more talking about some science stuff. "You should use this methodology," said Kara, explaining how a device would work even better using the knowledge Kara learned on Krypton.

While Kara helped, she tried not to look at Lena directly. Instead, Kara flew to the DEO technology lab, and after a few minutes, returned with a small robotic suit.

"Kara?" Alex asked, examining the suit. "A human cannot use it,"

"Silly, I designed it for a dog, not for a human. Now you can take Gertrude with you on space adventures!" Kara smiled. Alex rose an eyebrow. "Just think, you and your puppy taking a walk on the moon,"

Alex just shook her head. "How about you two spend time together. Lena needs to rest, especially since she had been doing science for hours, and then I trained her in self-defense," said Alex.

"Pizza!" Kara exclaimed.

"No, Kara, no," said Lena. Kara frowned. "Alright, I might order something other than a salad, but no pizza. Let's first return to L Corp,"

Kara nodded and took Lena in her arms, carrying her friend bridal style to L Corp, where two women could talk and spend some time with one another.

After they ordered their food, Kara and Lena sat on the couch in Lena's office. "How's your paper on nanotech?" Lena asked.

"Good, I recently sent it to the lady who asked for a copy," said Kara. Kara looked at Lena and smiled.

After food arrived, the two friends began eating, laughing at jokes they were making.

Someone knocked on the door. "Miss Luthor, your mother is here," said Jess on the phone.

Lena approached her desk and talked to Jess. "Let her in," said Lena. The doors opened, and Lillian Luthor entered the office.

"Lena, it's good to see you," said Lillian.

"What do you want, mother?" Lena asked. Kara didn't say anything, she just took a few steps forwards and stood in front of Lena, subtly trying to intimidate Lillian to leave.

"Hello Miss Danvers, I heard about your comments; the entire scientific community has been talking about you," said Lillian.

"Mother, why are you here?" Lena asked again, unsure why her mother showed up.

"Lena, Lena, can't a mother visit her own daughter? You might not think much about me, but I do care about you," said Lillian.

Kara looked at Lillian, glaring. "Miss Danvers, I hope you don't treat the same as you would my son Lex. Yes, I admit, our family doesn't like aliens, except Lena perhaps, but Lex was clearly wrong. I still love my son, but I don't agree with what he did. So please, don't think that just because Lex did all those things, that I would do the same," said Lillian.

"You were at Roulette's party," said Lena.

"So? I like wrestling and similar sports, so why not watch how aliens fight," said Lillian, replying to her daughter.

"You did develop anti Kryptonian guns," said Kara.

"True, but I was working with Maxwell in trying to protect myself from hostile Kryptonians. I wouldn't use those guns against Supergirl, for example, but it's common knowledge that there are quite a number of evil Kryptonians out there, and humans do need to protect themselves," said Lillian. "But just because I want to defend myself against those rogue Kryptonians, doesn't mean I hate all aliens who reside in National City,"

Kara thought about what Lillian had just told her. "This makes sense. Yes, fine, I will not treat you the same as Lex Luthor, but I still don't have to like you," said Kara.

"Thank you for your honest and objective opinion of me," said Lillian.

"You still don't like aliens, and thus I don't have to be your friend, but what I can promise you is that I won't think of you like I do of Lex," Kara once again clarified her views of Lillian.

"Splendid. I hope in future we can get alone," said Lillian. Lena went to write some notes on her desktop, while Lillian stood next to Kara.

"I sincerely doubt that," said Kara to Lillian.

"Maybe, but maybe we might even become a family. One day I might even become your mother in law," Lillian whispered to Kara. "And our families would spend time together at one of Luthor manors,"

Lena returned, after writing a few notes on her computer. "Mother, while I do appreciate that you came to visit me, I had a busy day. Please talk to my assistant Jess, so that you can schedule an appointment to speak with me," said Lena.

"I will, my daughter. We can talk in private about a few projects I began working recently," said Lillian, smiling at Lena, before leaving the office.

Kara and Lena returned to the couch. "How about we watch a movie?" Kara suggested. Lena nodded, she could watch a movie. Lena sat comfortably on the couch, ready to watch. As they turned the TV on, an advertisement appeared on TV.

"Ha, this Morgana looks a lot like you," said Kara. They laughed, before deciding to watch some romantic comedy.

"We should've gone with a science fiction movie," said Lena.

"We can watch one of those after this movie," suggested Kara. Lena nodded, while she knew she needed to work, she could take a long break watching movies, and since Cat gave Kara the rest of the day off, the two friends could watch as many movies as they wanted.

Maggie just finished work, satisfied at stopping a robbery. While she desperately wanted to take a shower, she really wanted to have a cup of coffee and relax in the part first, since she lacked energy to return to her apartment.

Maggie bought coffee and entered the park, where she sat on the nearest bench, and relaxed. She closed her eyes, thinking about how many lives she saved. Maggie Sawyer felt good.

"Margarita?" A familiar voice, a voice Maggie hasn't heard in many, many years, appeared. Maggie opened her eyes and saw a man who threw her out of her house when she was only fourteen years old.

"Dad?" Maggie asked.

She recognized her father, and while she felt angry and scared, mostly scared, the last time she saw her father, Maggie wanted to try to be at least civil with her dad. She knew that he did unforgivable all those years ago, but maybe, just maybe, he changed.

"Margarita, how have you been? I heard that you became a police officer," said Oscar.

"Yes, I am a Detective, part of the Science Division," said Maggie. She felt uncomfortable talking to her father, but she noticed that there were many families with small children in the park, and she didn't want to make a scene.

"I respect that. You not only protect others from harm, but also use your brains. You were always very smart, and I knew you would get a decent job," said Oscar.

"Thanks?" Maggie said, unsure how she should take her father's praise.

On some level she really welcomed all the positive comments Oscar had given her, especially since he was proud of her work, but she still felt uneasy talking to him.

"I know the last time we saw one another was unpleasant," said Oscar.

"An understatement," said Maggie.

"Yes, I agree, but at least now, I hope we can rebuild our family, and spend more time with one another," said Oscar.

"I doubt it would be easy," said Maggie, thinking that the whole situation was too good to be true, something would show up, and Maggie feared that she knew that her father still would not respect her sexuality.

"I know, but we are a family, we share blood, and at the end of the day, I am still your father, and no matter what I do, I still care for you," said Oscar.

Maggie sighed. "Okay. Let's meet later at this coffee shop, where you can meet Alex," said Maggie.

"My daughter got married to a man called Alex? I knew you would realize the foolishness of your teenage behavior, and settle down with a nice man," said Oscar.

Maggie instantly tensed, her hands formed into fists, although she put them on the bench. Maggie knew, she just knew now, that her dream of possible reconciliation with her father, where he would tell her he was wrong, and ask for forgiveness, that dream would now never happen.

"Dad, I am not married. I am dating Alex, yes, but Alex is a woman," said Maggie, looking at Oscar. While Maggie was a strong woman, and could defeat most humans and even some tough aliens, she felt vulnerable sitting next to her father, who just told her that he hadn't changed.

"A she? Margarita! How could you, after the lesson I tried to teach you, you still don't realize that you are wrong? It's wrong for two women to love one another!" Oscar told his daughter.

Tears run down Maggie's eyes. "I thought you changed, dad," said Maggie. Suddenly, Maggie felt not only vulnerable, but also as if she was fourteen, the night when her father kicked her out. More tears escaped Maggie's eyes.

And so she ran. Maggie ran away, unwilling to talk to her father telling all those hateful things to her. She felt so weak, so vulnerable. She sent a very short text to her girlfriend, "Alex, help" and then ran back towards her apartment. It helped that she wasn't far away from it.

Alex arrived as soon as she noticed the text. She flew to the apartment, and descended on the floor, seeing Maggie siting on the carpet, crying. "Hey, everything will be alright," said Alex, hugging Maggie.

"He hates me," said Maggie, crying. Alex was puzzled, she had never seen her girlfriend in such state.

"I've got you, please focus on my breathing," said Alex.

"He left me. Everyone leaves me, every single person I've ever been close to left me. Please don't leave me," cried Maggie. Alex gently put her arms around Maggie.

"Don't worry, I will never leave you, we will always be together, you and I, stronger together," said Alex, putting her hands under Maggie's chin, and looking at Maggie's watery eyes.

"You don't think I am a bad person?" Maggie said.

"Of course not, I think you are the kindest person I've ever known," said Alex. "You are so smart, and brave, and so beautiful, just so beautiful"

"Can you hold me some more?" Maggie asked. Alex didn't have to reply, she just hugged Maggie once more, and the couple sat on the floor, with Alex comforting Maggie.

Late in the evening, as Alex was still holding Maggie gently with her hands, the two women heard a knock on the door. "I will be right back, I promise you, I won't leave you, Maggie," said Alex. Maggie already felt very comfortable; she smiled, stood up and walked to the couch, sitting on it.

Alex opened the door and saw Oscar. "Hello, does Detective Margarita Sawyer live here?" Oscar asked.

"Yes? Who are you?" Alex asked.

"I am her father, and you must be Alex. Once I saw Margarita run away from me, I knew she would run towards you, so that you could promise to comfort her, while continuing to corrupt my child," said Oscar.

"Excuse me?" Alex said.

"You heard me. I just wanted to see the woman, you, the person who corrupted my Margarita into thinking that she likes women," said Oscar.

"What the hell! I haven't corrupted anyone, Maggie is my girlfriend, and I love her with all my heart, and also, take your hateful language away from here, you are not welcomed here. There is nothing wrong with women loving women," said Alex.

Oscar looked angrily at Alex and pushed his fist at her. Even if she weren't a Kryptonian, Alex could've easily caught the fist. And she did, Alex caught the fist, stopping the attack, and then slammed Oscar at the door.

"Now listen to me, you will leave Maggie alone, and you will not come close to her, or I don't know what I will do," said Alex. She then released Oscar.

"You are crazy," said Oscar.

"Get out," said Maggie, approaching her father. "I might have expressed a vulnerability upon seeing you and reliving the night when you kicked me out, but I can see it now. You are just a pathetic human being, insecure and hateful. I don't need your approval, I am a strong person, and I will not let you dictate who I can or cannot date. Get out!" Maggie said, glaring at Oscar.

"One day, mark my words, Margarita, one day you will realize the error of your ways. You will crawl back to me, asking for my forgiveness," said Oscar. But before he could leave, a woman flew into the apartment. She had brown hair with a white streak.

"Astra?" Alex asked.

"How dare you treat the Kind One like this?" Astra shouted at Oscar. "She cares so much about others, and yet you hate your own daughter,"

"What the hell lady? Wait, you are one of them, an alien freak," said Oscar.

"My name is Lady Astra In Ze, and I am one of the last remaining Kryptonians," said Astra. "You are a pathetic excuse of a human being,"

Astra flew towards Oscar, grabbed him, and flew in the air. Alex shook her head, quickly changed into her Powergirl suit, and flew after Astra.

"I try to help people of this planet to live better, but sometimes, after I see people like you, I wonder whether I really should help the humans," said Astra, holding Oscar high in the air.

"Astra, let him go," said Alex, hovering in the air close to Astra.

"Why should I let this pathetic human go? He hurt the woman my niece likes," said Astra.

Alex looked at Astra in confusion. "Um, Astra, Kara and Maggie are not together, Maggie is my girlfriend," said Alex.

"I know. Kara is not my only niece, Brave One," said Astra.

"Astra, just let him go. I agree, he is pathetic, but let him live. After all, he is just some pathetic human, as you called him, nothing more," said Alex.

"Very well, Brave One, we will meet again," said Astra. She then looked at Oscar. "I might not agree with the rest of my Kryptonian family, but I will protect each and every one of them, especially from humans like you,"

Astra threw Oscar at Alex, and then quickly flew away. Alex landed Oscar on the pavement. "Get away from me," said Oscar, running away from Alex. She shook her head, and flew back to the apartment to be with Maggie.

When Alex arrived, she and Maggie sat on the couch.

"Maggie, it's okay, I've got you," said Alex.

"Alex, I am so sorry I lied to you when I told you that my fathers accepted that I liked women and not men," said Maggie. "I just, I experienced trauma when I was fourteen, and I didn't want you to feel bad, especially when you just realized that you liked women too,"

"Don't worry, I am not mad at you. You don't have to apologize," said Alex.

"Did you mean it? You said the "l" word," said Maggie, looking at Alex.

"Yes, yes, I love you, Maggie Sawyer," said Alex, smiling.

Maggie smiled, dimples showing prominently on her face. "I love you too, Alex Damnvers," said Maggie. The two women laughed, hugged, and just sat on the couch.

Oscar ran for ten minutes, away from where Alex put him on the ground. "I should get a drink," said Oscar, entering a bar, where he ordered some beer and some food.

"Oscar Rodas?" Lillian entered the bar, and walked towards the man.

"I am busy, leave me alone," said Oscar.

"Can we talk in private? I have a proposition to you," said Lillian.

"I don't care," said Oscar.

"Just hear me out, I am sure we can help one another," said Lillian. "My car is waiting outside,"

Oscar looked at the car, and saw an expensive limousine. He then paid for the beer and food, and followed Lillian, climbing into the car.

"Mister Rodas, my name is Lillian Luthor, and I am a genius scientist. Not only that, but I also have access to alien technology, which helps my scientific research," said Lillian.

"What do you want from me?" Oscar asked.

"Straight to the point? I like it. You see, I know about your daughter, and how unfortunate that she likes women," said Lillian.

"Yes, this Alex corrupted my daughter," said Oscar.

"Yes, and that's how you can help me. I will contact you when you should bring Maggie to one of my facilities, so that I can use your daughter as bait to capture Alex Danvers, and in return I will develop a cure for your daughter so that she will like men, and not women, especially not Alex Danvers," said Lillian, extending her hand.

"Deal," said Oscar, also extending his hand. "I can't wait to see Margarita to be with a man,"

"I am sure she will agree, eventually, but the cure is not yet developed. Don't worry, just wait, and once I tell you, follow my instructions, and in return your will have a daughter who will like men," said Lillian.

Oscar smiled. The car stopped and Lillian opened the door.

"I will see you later, Mister Rodas," said Lillian as Oscar exited the car. Lillian then closed the door.

The car drove away from Oscar.

"Stupid man, he didn't realize that I lied to him about the cure, since there is no such a thing. I don't care," said Lillian, smiling, still sitting in the car. "He will be useful for my goals, I will get Agent Danvers, and through her Supergirl, and Detective Sawyer, well, I don't care. One thing I know, Margarita will always like women,"

Lillian laughed how she just manipulated Oscar's prejudices to make a pawn out of the man, and while she would accomplish her goals with Oscar's help, Oscar will not get what Lillian had promised him.

"If only you were human, Kara Danvers, then we could've become a real family. You are a perfect match for my daughter except you being alien, of course," said Lillian.

Meanwhile, while working in his lab, Maxwell Lord smiled. His project was finally complete, and he had his own Supergirl that would listen only to him, and follow his orders. While he didn't really clone her, the woman sitting in the chair had Supergirl's facial features.

A/N: more SuperCorp. Oscar made Maggie cry. Lillian just plans to use him, without actually giving to Oscar the thing she promised.
