Kara opened her eyes, lying in bed. She yawned and looked at the clock. "It's seven in the morning, not bad," thought Kara, moving in bed. She then remembered the previous day when she rescued Lena, how they lay in bed and kissed, how they kissed. They kissed! Golly, was Kara happy. She smiled.

Kara looked to her right, and noticed that Lena was lying on her right side, facing Kara. Lena was still peacefully sleeping. Her hair was a mess. Kara grinned, she remembered how eventful the night has been. She was glad that Karen stayed at Cat's penthouse that night; Kara wasn't sure she was ready to explain to her cousin what Lena and Kara were doing. But, it still felt so good; Lena's hands were so soft, she smelled so nice.

Kara saw that Lena opened her eyes. "Hey," said Lena. Blankets covered her entire body.

"I am going to make breakfast, don't worry, I won't burn things," said Kara.

"Kara," said Lena.

"Well, perhaps, if you want to cook instead … but no kale," said Kara.

"Kara," said Lena, repeating her attempt to talk. "It's still relatively early, and I saw leftovers in the fridge last night. I was thinking, how about we have some fun before we have to get out of the bed?"

"Oh? What did you have in mind, Lena?" Kara asked. Lena smirked, and retrieved handcuffs from the nightstand.

"I am a bad Luthor. Bad. You hear me? Punish me, Supergirl, for I have been naughty," said Lena.

Kara laughed. She grabbed handcuffs, and leaned over Lena. She saw that her CEO friend bit her lip. "This will be a hot morning," thought Kara, ready to play with her girlfriend.

As Kara was about to use the handcuffs that she took from the nightstand, the door opened, and Alex walked into the apartment. "Kara, I … what is this? Why are you and Lena? Omg, what are you doing? No, I don't want to see my baby sister –"

"Alex, wait," said Kara. Alex looked away, and went to the kitchen. Kara shook her head.

"I guess that ruined the mood," said Lena. "It's alright we can play some other time, only I will be the one to punish Supergirl."

"Golly!" Kara said. She stood up, and put a shirt and shorts. Lena rolled in the bed, and sat on the other side, grabbing her own clothes. Kara then walked to the kitchen, where she saw Alex searching for any alcoholic beverages. Kara grinned, she didn't have any alcohol in her apartment. Alex noticed that too, and apparently decided to make coffee.

Kara approached the fridge, and grabbed a plate with three slices of pizza. She then walked to the microwave, put the pizza inside, and turned it on. "Kara, I –"

"It's okay, Alex, just knock next time, please. Lena and I, we like one another," said Kara.

"I can see that. I am sorry, I just assumed you were alone. This situation is very new to me. I do like Lena, she is nice," said Alex. Kara saw that Lena has arrived in the kitchen as well. She currently wore a formal shirt.

"Hey Alex," said Lena. She approached the coffee machine, and also made some coffee.

"I … um, I am sorry. I didn't expect you two to be indecent," said Alex.

"It's good then that you didn't come here yesterday at night; you would have been horrified," said Lena. Kara's face turned red.

"Lena, let's not give Alex a heart attack," said Kara, smiling, and making a silly face.

"It's all good, Kara. I am happy that the two of you got together, I just … I don't want to know what you do in your free time," said Alex. "Alright, I think I will talk to you two later, I need to speak with Maggie, yeah I need to speak with Maggie."

Alex drank the coffee, and promptly left the apartment, closing the door.

Kara looked at Lena. "So, it's still early, Miss Luthor," said Kara, approaching Lena, who bit her lip.

"Yes, it is," said Lena. "And what are you going to do about that, Kara Danvers?"

"This," said Kara, lifting Lena in the air, and lightly pushing her against the wall. The two women began kissing. Kara lost balance, and they fell on the floor.

Alex arrived at her own apartment, where she saw her girlfriend playing with Gertrude. The puppy's tail was wiggling; it lay next to Maggie. "Alex, look, Gertrude is being so cute," said Maggie, playing with the puppy.

"Cute, yes. But she is not as cute as one of her owners. Come here, Detective Dimples, I need to talk to you," said Alex, approaching Maggie, and sitting on the floor.

"Has something happened, Alex?" Maggie asked. Alex nodded.

"Yes, I … well I didn't do anything wrong, you know? And neither did Kara or Lena, technically, but I … they scared me. They absolutely scared me," said Alex.

"Scared how? Was anyone injured?" Maggie asked.

Alex shook her head. "No, no, it's not like that. No, I … so I arrived to Kara's apartment; I wanted to talk to Kara about something, and it turns out, Kara and Lena, they … oh god, they were indecent, they were about to do things, terrible and terrible things than an older sister shouldn't ever see! Kara was laying on of Lena, and they were about to –"

Maggie laughed. "Hey, not funny! I don't want to see my sister doing those things," said Alex.

"Alex, it's okay. You should have knocked on the door. What they were doing was normal, they are adults, and adults sometimes engage in –"

"Maggie, no-no, nope, I don't want to hear about this," said Alex.

"I know. You shouldn't see what Kara does in her own time. But it's okay, you will be okay. Now, before we leave to work, do I need to punish my Powergirl?" Maggie asked. Alex shook her head. "Alright, but this evening, I will –"

Alex didn't let Maggie finish. She quickly changed into her suit, opened the door, and flew to the DEO. All Alex wanted at that moment was to get away, and collect her thoughts. A cold shower and a morning gym training session would be nice. And later, she would do things to Maggie for being a little shit to her this morning. Yes, Alex would punish her girlfriend; Maggie would scream her name.

Kara arrived at CatCo at eight am. She saw that Cat was talking to James about something. Kara went to her desk and turned on computer. "Kiera, come here," said Cat, calling her. Kara stood up, and walked into the office.

"Yes, Miss Grant?" Kara asked.

"Kara, call me Cat. You are my Vice President; you will soon take over the company. I want you to know about the company's operations more," said Cat.

"Yes, Miss Grant. I made several reports on how to improve the tech at the company," said Kara.

"Yes, Kara. I saw. Since I won't be spending less time at CatCo, I would like you to talk to James, if you ever had any questions about the inner workings of CatCo," said Cat.

"Miss Grant, I am not sure it would be a great idea," said Kara, looking away.

"Is something wrong, Kara?" Cat asked.

"Well, James did tell Clark about Karen," said Kara. Cat looked at James.

"You did what? Why?" Cat asked.

"Miss Grant, I told Kara, I am concerned. Karen is Astra's daughter, and she can be dangerous," said James.

"She is ten! James," said Cat. She made a sigh. "You cannot be this close minded. I hope you realize that you made a mistake. You are a great Art Director, just … we aren't defined by our parents."

"Yes, Miss Grant," said James. "I will write a report about the earlier thing we mentioned –"

"Please include a section on how Kara's technological ideas will help CatCo. Now, chop -chop," said Cat. James walked away.

"Miss Grant, I am sorry I was here later than usual," said Kara, forming a smile.

"I see that someone had a very rough night. Did you fight villains non-stop the entire night?" Cat asked.

"Well, she did ask to call her a villain at one point," said Kara, realizing what she just said. Her face turned red. "Miss Grant –"

"Kara, I am a journalist. I can see that you are more jovial this morning than usual. Your hair looks messy, and you did say "call her a villain" while not admitting you actually fought anyone. Please treat Lena well; many people hurt her before," said Cat.

"How?"

"Kara, I am the current CEO and owner of CatCo. I can see things. Now, since I am not sure her mother actually cares for her, I guess it's up to me to do the talk. You hurt Lena's feelings, and I will first find Kryptonite … Kara, stop pouting, no, I am not being serious. I won't hurt you. I just want for Lena to be happy," said Cat.

"Lena and I, it's all new to us. I rescued her from Bizarro, and we admitted our feelings," said Kara.

Kara and Cat discussed various tech stuff Kara wanted to introduce at CatCo. An hour later, the elevator door opened, and Samantha entered the floor. "Kara, I need to speak with you. Miss Grant," said Samantha.

"Is Lena okay?" Kara asked.

"Lena is fine," said Sam. She first looked at Kara, and then at Cat. "I am not here about Lena. I last seen her at her office. No, I am here about my girl. Well Ruby and her friends, they disappeared."

"Disappeared. Someone will pay," said Cat. "I will call Olivia, maybe she can help."

"Disappeared? But Ruby was with Karen and Carter. No, how can someone be so cruel? Why would they kidnap the kids?" Kara thought about what she just learned. She then walked away, approached a window, and opened it. She saw that no one was looking. Kara quickly changed, and flew to the DEO to inform Alex about the kidnapping.

Kara then flew to L Corp. She arrived on the balcony. Kara saw that Lena was sitting at her table, reviewing some notes. Kara gently knocked on the balcony's glass door. She saw that Lena looked at the source of the noise. Lena then smiled, stood up, and walked towards the balcony door, opening it.

"Kara, I am a bit busy. Can I help you with something?" Lena asked.

"Lena, I just learned, the kids. Someone kidnapped the kids," said Kara. "I need to find them,"

"Kidnapped?" Lena asked. She then walked away. Lena approached her table, and opened one drawer, revealing a gun.

"Lena, I am not sure it will be necessary," said Kara. "I have powers, wherever we go, I can save them."

"We need to be ready. I will take this, just in case," said Lena. She then walked back to Kara. "We need to find the kids."

"DNA tracker, no too many people. Energy signature, hmm, which type of energy are we looking for?"

"Kara, what are you saying? You are mumbling," said Lena.

"Sorry, I am trying to find a way for us to rescue them," said Kara. "Hmm. I think DNA tracker would still work, we would just need to pick between the locations of Clark, Astra, and Karen –"

"Kara, is there a way to do this DNA tracking using a mixture of DNA samples somehow? We can map the location where three DNA markers end up," said Lena.

"Lena, you are brilliant! I just need a DNA sample from Cat and Sam. Hold on," said Kara, flying away from the window, soon returning with two test tubes. "Okay, let's get to work. Help me create a primitive tracker."

Kara gave instructions to Lena, and the two assembled some sort of metallic table, that Kara connected to the internet. Kara then tinkered with a few pieces, and then put the three DNA samples into the machine.

"Okay, let's see. Oh! The three are conversing in one location. Let's head there," said Kara. "I am going to let Alex know where we are heading."

Lena nodded. Kara approached Lena, and carried Lena bridal style to the location that the device has told them to go. When they arrived, Kara saw an empty warehouse and looked around. "Coast is clear," said Kara.

"I thought there will be more people here," said Lena. She then looked around and saw a metallic device. "Look, let's check that out,"

Kara and Lena approached a metallic construction that had an oval shape. Kara saw a small panel on the right side of the device, which she figured was probably some sort of gateway.

"Kara, we are probably looking at some sort of portal! I want to get schematics on this device; I want to see if I can reverse engineer it. Can you imagine how far we will advance our technology if we could interstellar travel with portals?" Lena asked.

"We haven't used teleporter devices on Krypton except throwing people into the Phantom Zone. I am not sure why. I would be happy to examine the schematics with you," said Kara. She then called Alex and told her their location. "Okay, so the trail ends here. I think whoever kidnapped the girls brought them through the portal,"

"I agree. Let's go, but we need to be very careful," said Lena. Kara nodded.

"Okay, let's see. This tech looks strangely familiar," said Kara, examining the control panel. She looked closer. Kara then pressed a button, activating the portal. Energy appeared within the gate. "Ready?"

Lena nodded. The two of them walked through the portal. When they arrived, the portal instantly closed. Kara and Lena only saw a metallic construction that resembled the gateway they saw on Earth. But the energy wasn't' there anymore. "We will need to find another way. I cannot believe I was so stupid, I needed to get Earth's coordinates, so that I could tinker with the panel on this side and get us home," said Lena.

"Lena," said Kara. "We have another problem."

Lena looked around and saw that the area seemed redder than usual. "Kara, is that a red star?" Lena asked. Kara nodded.

"Yes, and I don't have any powers. Omg, I feel so useless. I am not Supergirl, I am just a girl," said Kara, sitting on the ground on her butt, putting her feet forward. Lena sat on her knees next to Kara.

"Kara, it's nonsense. You are Supergirl, with our without your powers. More importantly, you are Kara, my Kara. You are my friend, and we will deal with this. We will find a way to rescue the kids," said Lena, placing her arm around Kara's back. Kara smiled weakly.

Kara stood up and looked around. "I am not sure where exactly we ended up. This place has so much sand," said Kara, approaching the panel at the device.

"I thought you didn't know the coordinates," said Lena.

"True, but I might be able to find out more about this planet," said Kara. While she couldn't use her strength, Kara examined the panel, and then pressed a few buttons.

An image appeared on the ground. While the image mostly contained images of the desert, Kara saw one structure in the area. "Kara, this might be the place where the kids are held. Oh look, I see this portal gate in this image. Looking at the map, I think we are perhaps several kilometers away from the house. Citadel? Prison? Whatever the building is," said Lena.

"Yea, it appears so," said Kara. She examined the map once again, noticing some rocks and hills in the area. "Here, we need to go here. Okay, let's go and rescue our friends."

She began walking, but Lena grabbed her hand.

"Kara, please be careful," said Lena. Kara looked at Lena, and smiled. The women began walking. Occasionally, Kara stopped, trying to catch her breath. While she trained hard with Alex, Kara still wasn't used to lacking her powers; she felt weak, vulnerable. Strangely to her, Lena didn't seem to show a hint of exhaustion.

Eventually, the pair arrived at their location. Kara saw a tall citadel standing probably a hundred meters in the distance. "We need to find a way to get in. Oh I know, Lena, hide. I will pretend to be lost, so they can take me in," said Kara.

"I am coming with you," said Lena.

"No. Please stay. I need someone to break me out," said Kara. Lena bit her lip.

"I have a better idea," said Lena. "Go, get captured, my dear Super damsel in distress."

Kara laughed. She then separated from Lena and walked slowly towards the door, knocking on the door. Soon, the door opened, and a man with a gun stepped out. "Who are you," said the guard.

"Hi," said Kara, lifting your hand. "I am lost,"

"A pretty girl! My masters could find a use for you," said the guard. He pushed Kara in side, and turned around. "Wait, what is that?"

Kara grinned. Lena put her gun at the guard's back, letting him know that he shouldn't try any funny business.

"Move slowly. Show us where you hold prisoners," said Kara.

The guard cursed, but nodded. He led the two women to a corridor, eventually leading them to a cell. "Here are your prisoners, they are in that cell," said the guard, as he took a step back, and pressed a red button on the wall. Kara heard loud noises. "Security will be here soon."

The guard ran away form. For now, Kara didn't care. All she wanted to do was rescue the prisoners. She approached the metal door that had numerous bars. Inside, Kara saw many people sitting or lying on the ground, among them Karen, Ruby, and Carter.

"Kara!" Karen exclaimed, running towards Kara, and putting her hands through the metal bars. "You came to save us!"

"Yes, but I need to figure out how to open this door," said Kara.

Lena approached the wall at the end of the corridor. "Kara, I think I got it," said Lena, examining a panel on the wall, and then typing a few things. "Password. No matter, I will just hack."

"Lena, hurry," said Kara, as she heard voices. Guards would arrive soon.

"Got it," said Lena, pressing a few more buttons. The door opened, and the prisoners walked out. "Okay, but now we need to deal with the guards. Oh, look, I hacked into the main frame. What happens if I do this?"

Lena pressed a button. A large and thick door rose from the ground and locked them in the room. Kara soon heard loud banging, but the guards were unable to enter.

"Lena, can you check if this base has any defense mechanisms? We can use it on them," said Kara.

"I will see what I can do," said Lena. She pressed a few buttons on the panel. A camera appeared; it lowered down from the main panel, and showed an image of people on the other side of the door. Lena saw a few pistols exit the walls on the other side. She waited until people were in position, and made a few quick shots; none of them were lethal, but the guards did fall. "I think we good,"

Lena pressed another button, and opened the door.

"Alright people, it's time to go. Follow me," said Kara. The prisoners followed her. When they approached the entrance, Kara stopped. She stood by the entrance, waiting for all the prisoners to escape the building first. She then saw Lena walked past her.

"Kara, it's time to go," said Lena.

"Yeah, coming," said Kara, as someone grabbed her by her right hand, and pulled Kara back inside the building.

"Kara?"

Kara noticed that one guard was still standing. He held Kara with his right arm, while holding a knife in his left arm. "Return the prisoners, or she dies," said the guard.

"Lena, run. I cannot save us both. Contact Alex," said Kara. She felt frightened. She lacked powers, and she wasn't sure how she would escape this predicament; at least Lena was safe.

"No," said Lena. She retrieved a gun from her pocket and pointed it at the guard.

"Drop your weapon, girly, or she dies," said the guard. He then brought the knife closer to Kara's neck, ready to strike. Kara closed her eyes. She heard two shots in rapid succession.

Kara opened her eyes, and saw the guard lying on the ground. He had two wounds. His arm was bleeding, with the knife lying on the ground. And his face. Kara looked away, and ran to Lena.

"Let's go," said Lena. Kara nodded, and they escaped the building. Once they reunited with the prisoners, Kara and Lena led them to the portal gate. To their surprise, the portal now had energy flowing inside; they ran through it, and emerged in the warehouse.

Kara saw Alex with numerous DEO agents in the warehouse. "Kara, we just figured out how to use this device. We used it to open the portal and were about to enter it to come to your rescue," said Alex. She ran towards Kara, and placed her in a giant hug.

"I am okay, I am okay," said Kara. Now she was definitely okay. Kara didn't want to worry Alex with telling her how a guard almost killed her; she would tell it soon, but at this point in time all Kara wanted to do was to hug her sister.

Maggie arrived and brought the prisoners to the police office to ask them about the kidnapping, while leaving the kids in the DEO. Kara sat with her friends at the table, asking Karen, Ruby, and Carter questions.

"Kara, I want to learn how to fight! Some bad men kidnapped me, and I want to protect myself! Can I train with cousin Alex?" Karen asked.

Kara looked at Alex. "Kara, I am a busy person, you know me," said Alex, pleading her sister to help.

"I know, but you did train me. Train your cousin," said Kara. She then looked at Karen. "But you, young lady, have to promise me that you will not seek bad guys. You will only defend yourself."

"Promise, promise," said Karen.

Cat talked to Carter. She seemed worried. Sam was talking to Ruby. Alex told Karen to follow her, since Alex wanted to show some moves.

"Lena, can I talk to you in private?" Kara asked. Lena nodded. The two women stood up, walked towards an empty small conference room, entered and close the door. They sat at the table on the booth.

"Kara, look. I know what I did, but I had no choice. You must feel as if I am a monster. I killed that man. But he … he was about to hurt you," said Lena.

"Lena –"

"That man … I couldn't lose you, Kara. If you don't want to be with me anymore, it's alight, but I will defend you if people try to hurt you, Kara," said Lena.

"Lena, no, I am grateful that you saved me," said Kara, sitting closer to Lena. "I love you, Lena Luthor. I felt helpless, I couldn't do much. I really need to practice my combat skills. But regardless, you, Lena, you saved me."

Kara smiled, leaned even closer, and kissed Lena. Lena put her hands around Kara's neck; the two began a make out session.

Twenty minutes later the door to the conference room opened. "Kara, I … not again! My eyes," said Alex, promptly closing the door. Kara heard her sister running away from the conference room. Kara figured that after catching Kara with Lena, twice, her sister would for sure knock before visiting.
