They all went their separate ways, the room provided a library to those who wanted to read something, the elves started making dinner, while the moms went to play with their children. The boys went after them to see if they could distract themselves or talk of their book sons.

Dorea took an opportunity to talk to Remus. They discreetly disappeared into his room.

"Dory?"—Remus said tiredly— "I know what you want to talk about and I'm ok, I forgive him."

"No, you didn't"— she said leaning into the dresser in front of his bed. – "If you would have, he wouldn't have ended up in Azkaban. You believed him to be the traitor, I know that reality was different, but that incident is the same and that doubt still lingers…so please child save me the lie."

Remus put his elbows on his knees and closed his eyes taking a breath. —"I know my friend, Sirius would die for all of us but he would also kill for us. We all have done it in this war, and he just walked it off."

"It still damaged him."

"I know, Dory. Sirius didn't want to kill Snape he just wanted to scare him, and probably hurt him. He didn't realize he was using me as a weapon, and that makes him dangerous, it makes him volatile. In this reality, I had Monty to back me up, to back him up, but I can see how easy it would've been to distrust us…can't you?"

Dorea pressed her nose bridge, but she nodded.

he continued-"I'm very easy to become depressed, I still can't believe you are all so welcoming, that you're not disgusted, my father could barely touch me, and my mother could barely look at me after the full, so why do strangers accept me? I can see myself feeling less than enough, and just disappearing. Why would they miss me? I can see myself keeping it a secret because it would shame me. The things I have seen Dorea, the things I did"—Remus shuddered.

She looked up concerned-"Did you eat someone?"

"No, I'm sure of that because I never woke up full, but I had to fight my kind. I had to see how they killed each other, and how they killed others. How could I come back and look at my friends in the eye, hold something so innocent as Harry?"

"Oh Remus"—Dorea lamented. She cursed fucking Dumbledore for forcing him to believe the Wolves were needed.

"When Sirius is acting paranoid, he becomes volatile, strange, he tends to drink, he becomes moody and vengeful. It's not a secret that Bella is looking for him so he can take the mark now that Regulus is MIA. James now is focused on Lily and Harry, but in that reality, he was grieving you. We don't know how much we saw each other, how much we actually believed in each other. I know better now; I know more but in that reality, I left and came back to all my friends dead and everyone said he was the murderer. I would have accepted it because I know he is capable of it."

"What about now?"

"If I trust him, yes. Am I still angry with him for fifth year? no."-Remus let out a breath-"I'm disappointed, I guess I'm always going to be, but I'm also disappointed about many things I did when I was younger. I've learned and so has he."

Dorea nodded— "I just want you to know that you don't have to forgive him, even if you decide to be angry at him and tell him you need space because you understand what he did better now with age, there will still be a place in the Potter house for you."

Remus smiled. —"I know Dory, but I did punish him in a way. James fought him and forced him to tell me. I said so many things to him, I made him cry, I cried for days myself, told him he wasn't my brother. The next time I saw him he was in your house bleeding out, shaking from the torture his mother gave him. That's when I forgive him, realizing that I almost lost my brother, that he fucked up and he will know it forever, but he isn't the bad person I wanted him to be."

Dorea stared at him for a long moment. – "Very well, I just wanted to make sure you were ok"

"I know Dory"—Remus said getting up to hug her.

They both went back down. Remus went to the playroom where he found everyone in a deep discussion about what they were reading. The kids screaming and running around.

"Where were you?"—James asked.

"I think Dorea is going to speak with us one by one."

James and Sirius shared a look. — "Well, that's great."

They enjoyed the times with the kids until they were called for dinner. Once they sat down, Monty was feeding Harry; Alice was with Neville and Marlene was helping Ron who was trying to get her hair all full of potatoes. All the other Children were being loud in different ways, Dora and Charlie were arguing about Dragons and Mer-people, and Bill was having a conversation about Hogwarts with Hagrid. Lily was laughing at James and the Twins, Sirius was holding Ginny so Molly could eat, and A.P. smiled, the dynamic wasn't as different as the one he had grown up with or the one he had now with his brother and sister.

"You don't seem to be disturbed by the noise?"—Dorea asked, she had a lot of curiosity about how his upbringing had been. But having been married to a man that kept secrets she knew she would get no answer if she pushed too much.

"I'm not, we are a loud family."

That caught the attention of the Weasleys— "Do my children have a family?" -

A.P. smiled when he saw Bill turning to see him with curiosity. He was the only child old enough to understand what was going on, Arthur realized and told Bill to keep eating. – "It's alright, explain to him as much as you see fit"—he told Arthur.

Nobody asked any more questions to A.P. until dessert when Molly and Dorea both who wanted to know more shoo the children away to eat Dessert together on the couches where they sat to read the books.

A.P. was serving himself to treacle tart— "You can ask, I can choose not to say."

"So, my children have a family?"

He turned to Molly— "Yes you have 13 grandchildren."

Molly beamed— "13 grandbabies oh how wonderful"—

Arthur laughed— "That's a lot."

"Do you spend a lot of time with them?"—Lily asked him.

"As children yes, some of us went together to Hogwarts and the Weasleys always made sure we felt like family"—A.P. sent a wink to his grandmamma making Molly smile—"but everyone has different jobs, and some don't live in England anymore. So, it's mostly in the Holidays when we see each other now."

"Oh, I… I want to ask you so much"—Molly said excitedly, and Dorea laughed.

The Hogwarts professor, all except Snape smiled at her excitement. He wanted to read without stops and get out of the room, but Dumbledore had told him his life depended on them reading, so he sat still and ate his dessert in silence.

"What about us?"—Alice asked with Ted asking the same thing.

A.P. had to fight the sad smile that Ted's voice brought to him.

"Ok let's see, Neville has two boys though he had them much older, so we didn't go to Hogwarts with him and Nymphadora had one."

Marlene smiled sadly at all of them. Sirius put a hand over her shoulders and gave her a kiss— "It's alright sweetheart"—He whispered to her— "It will be different this time"—Marlene turned to kiss him on the cheek earning a small wink in return.

Remus who was sitting in front of them shared the sentiment, he knew he would never be able to have his own family or that perhaps he wouldn't even make it to see the end so he was going to do what he always did, be happy for his friends.-"What can you tell us about them?"

"Well let's see, some of them are older them me. Some of them are curse breakers, attorneys, dancers, warders, and muggle engineers, others work with Muggles, Healers, potions, Chefs, and Aurors I'm the only Unspeakable."

"What does Neville do?"

"He is head of Hufflepuff and Herbology teacher."

The Longbottoms beamed proudly. Augusta shook her head, all the Longbottom's men had been Aurors.

Dumbledore nodded— "When do we lose Pomona?"

"After Voldemort is gone for good. Many people tried to move on. Remember that if you succeed in killing him sooner, your children might or will be different than the ones you're going to read about"

They all nodded

— "Doesn't mean It's not interesting."—Sirius added— "I suppose we won't read about your generation or Harry's life right after the war"

"No, it isn't necessary."

"So"—Andromeda said— "What does Teddy do?"

A.P. blinked at her and chuckled— "Caught that ha?"

"Yes, the moment James asked about the name. Teddy is our grandson"—She signaled to Ted. James and Lily turned to A.P. and Monty laughed— "You fucked up didn't you"

A.P. shook his head— "It's inevitable. I can't watch everything I say though there is a spell for me not say to too much, it gets annoying but yes Teddy is Dora's son, he's in Auror"—

"You said he grew up with you?"—Ted asked trying not to think too much about what that means.

"In a way, he spends lots of time with us, he and Dad have a great relationship. We always joked about him being the favorite, plus Dad spoiled him a lot."

James turned to Andy— "We are family!"

"We are already family silly."

"Is the boy good?"—Moody asked he had high hopes for the future

"Terrifyingly so"

"What about Harry and James, Lily?"—Dorea asked.

"Lily is a writer; she writes muggle and wizarding literature. James followed Mom's steps and played for Puddlemore before joining England and Dad is currently the Head of the DMLE."

Monty clapped— "Of course he is. The Potters are always in high chairs of power"

"Pops calm the ego"—James laughed. — "Did you hear that Lils our boy…"—but Lily wasn't listening.

– "After all that danger he lived and chose to be in Auror?"

Kingsley said— "it becomes part of you."

Mad-eye slammed his hand on the table startling everyone— "Come on, how many chapters do we have left"

"Seven"

"Three and we finished tomorrow"—Moody ordered, and no one questioned. The younger children were prepared for bed. Bill is the only one allowed to stay up one more hour. Once the kids were each in their dorms, the adults settled down and the book started.

CHAPTER ELEVEN — Quidditch

"The castle once autumn starts is gorgeous."

"It's bloody cold."

"If we donate the brooms, then we should have a better storage building."

Harry didn't know which was worse – people telling him he'd be brilliant or people telling him they'd be running around underneath him, holding a mattress.

"Ah bloody idiots, most of them are probably older students."

"I remember my first game, vomit before getting to the pitch"—Frank said shaking his head.

"Mine was after, once we reached the common room."-James said

Harry now had Hermione as a friend.

"I hope she calms them down."

"It feels more like they are corrupting her."

"Just moderate your time"—James said to the book —"But it takes time for the body to get used to all that training"

"Why do people vanish from quidditch?"—Alice asked.

"Is my son going to vanish?"—Lily asked James. She didn't like that idea at all

"No, did I ever vanish?"

"You were knocked out of your broom by another chaser and broke four ribs."-

James winced

"People vanish, because of the magic in the broom and the accidental magic of the witch and wizard, why do they show up miles away, nobody knows"—Monty said.

Hermione had become a bit more relaxed about breaking rules.

"There she goes, just like with Remus"—Minerva said disapprovingly.

Sirius and James shared a disbelieving look while Remus contained his smile.

She had conjured them up a bright blue fire which could be carried around in a jam jar.

Remus snapped his fingers making a flame. —"She's good"

"Show off"—Marlene mocked.

Harry noticed at once that Snape was limping something about their guilty faces caught Snape's eye. 'Library books are not to be taken outside the school,' said Snape.

"That's a fucking lie."

"Why are you limping?"—Mad-eye asked looking at Snape who shrugged.

'Dunno, but I hope it's really hurting him,' said Ron bitterly.

"You're becoming the villain to them"—Molly said to Snape, but he ignored her.

She would never let them copy ('How will you learn?'), but by asking her to read it through, they got the right answers anyway.

"Better than Remus, he would throw us the book."

"I didn't know you needed to copy?"—Dorea said to her son.

"I didn't but Remus has better grammar."

Why should he be afraid of Snape?

"no one should be afraid of a professor"—Minerva said side eyeing Severus who was frowning.

Snape was saying. 'How are you supposed to keep your eyes on all three heads at once?'

Moody turned to glare at Snape, he had never trusted him and told Dumbledore he was mad for trusting a man who willingly took the mark, but Albus seemed to have something big over the boy's head.

Snape didn't seem bothered that everyone was looking at him with a calculating gaze. He knew he wouldn't try anything against Dumbledore he wasn't stupid. So, what exactly was going on?

Harry told them – he's after whatever it's guarding! And I'd

bet my broomstick he let that troll in, to create a diversion!'

"Molly is right, you're turning into the bad guy"—Alice said.

"I thought they would be more intelligent than to assume…"

"Assume what? That the professor who has been treating them like shit and insulting them at every given time isn't going to do something bad?"—Andromeda spoke up.

"But are they wrong?"—Remus said, and Snape glared. — "Save me the look Snape, we have reason…what exactly is your role here?"

"They are eleven, the world is different for their little minds"—Arthur said softly.

'Honestly, Hermione, you think all teachers are saints or something,' snapped Ron. 'I'm with Harry.

Minerva sighed— "Miss Granger seems to have a good head over her shoulders"

"Yes, but trusting blindly gets you killed"—James said jaw tense.

Lily grabbed his hand and leaned in to whisper— "it's ok Love."

'Just a bit of toast,' wheedled Hermione.

'I'm not hungry.'

Harry felt terrible.

"Nervous eater like his mother I see."

"Poor dear, he sounds so nervous."
"Doesn't help that this Seamus boy giving such nice advice"—Sirius added sarcastically.

It said Go Potter and Dean, who was good at drawing, had done a large Gryffindor lion underneath.

"That's how you support your team"—Frank said.

"I'm sure the entire school is excited. Harry Potter is playing…"

Wood cleared his throat for silence.

"That's a good speech."

"He seems intense."

"They joined the team in second year"—Arthur said proudly— "They must be good"

Slytherin captain, Marcus Flint, a fifth-year. Harry thought Flint looked as if he had some troll blood in him.

"Well, he isn't wrong. Grandmother Flint was ugly as hell"—Sirius said.

"Sirius!"

"Which one is that one?"—Lily said trying to remember everything Dorea had been teaching her about pureblood families.

"Mother of Sirius my great grandfather and Cygnus Doreas dad."

"Right right"—Lily nodded. Learning the family trees had been one of the most tedious things she had done, but important for the future Lady Potter to know.

'And the Quaffle is taken immediately by Angelina Johnson of Gryffindor – what an excellent Chaser

that girl is, and rather attractive, too –'

'JORDAN!'

'Sorry, Professor.'

The Weasley twins' friend, Lee Jordan, was doing the commentary for the match, closely watched by

Professor McGonagall.

"Jordan is good. I love commenters with that much hype"—

The more the game picks up, the more the quidditch aficionados edge in their seats. Lily was clutching her hands together, she just knew Harry would get hurt, there hadn't been a single game since James joined the team, and he didn't turn out with some part of him bleeding.

Chaser Katie Bell of Gryffindor there, nice dive around Flint, off up the field and – OUCH – that must have hurt, hit in the back of the head by a Bludger

"Oooh, that's a concussion for sure."

"This Johnson girl seems great"—James said— "Is she your mom?"—he asked A.P. who shook his head negatively.

GRYFFINDOR SCORE!'

All the Gryffindor cheered— "It sounds like an intense game."

"Sound the same as all of them"—Ted laughed.

"Maybe because we know Harry right in the middle, it feels different"

Ron and Hermione squeezed together to give Hagrid enough space to join them.

'Bin watchin' from me hut,' said Hagrid,

'Kept outta trouble, though, that's somethin',' said Hagrid, raising his binoculars

"Oh, Hagrid I don't know how we are going to pay you the kindness you have shown Harry"—Lily said kindly.

"Nonsense, no need. I do it with pleasure, he sounds like a good boy"

Harry had done a couple of loop-the-loops to let out his feelings.

"Don't get cocky prongslet, keep your eyes open."

"They should have known better, they should have taken their watches off."—Arthur shook his head.

"Oh, I hate those Bludgers."

"He does seem talented doesn't he"—Minerva said excitedly

"Come on Harry!"—Sirius clapped.

"Oh be careful."

WHAM! A roar of rage echoed from the Gryffindors below – Marcus Flint had blocked Harry on purpose and Harry's broom span off course, Harry holding on for dear life.

"FOUL!"—the marauders screamed.

"That little shit, he had no right to be blocking Harry"—Remus said angrily.

"Minerva do something"—Sirius accused

"I can't do anything unless he directly hurt Mr. Potter. He gets in ammunition for the obvious dirty play, but you know how this works."

"This is what I was concerned for, Flint must be at least a fifth year if he has the badge, that must have hurt Harry"—Lily said.

"Dean has a good idea, Hogwarts needs another sport"—Ted asked— "Football is a good option."
"I prefer Rugby"—Kingsley said having gone on a date or two to a few games.

"Maybe Polo"

"Where are we going to get the horses?"—

"I have no idea what you are talking about"—Marlene said

"Muggle games, ill explain later."-Lily said

'All right, all right. Flint nearly kills the Gryffindor Seeker, which could happen to anyone

"I like this boy."

"He's not wrong"

His broom gave a sudden, It was as though the broom was trying to buck him off.

Lily turned to James for an answer but he shook his head— "That's not supposed to happen, not on a new broom"

his broom was completely out of his control.

"What is happening!"—Lily said alarmed.

"I don't think this is quidditch related."

"I don't think the Slytherin would charm his broom."

"How? he had it with him the whole time, in incantation in mid-air would require a lot of magic and concentration."

"So, it's not a student."

"Oh, he's going to fall"—Marlene said hiding her face on Sirius's shoulder.

Harry's broom had given a wild jerk and Harry swung off it. He was now dangling from it, holding on with only one hand.

"No!"

"Oh dear…ok don't worry Flower, Minnie is there, and Hooch is in the air."

Lily was holding onto his arm in concern. – "Who is doing this?"

Hagrid said, his voice shaking. 'Can't nothing interfere with a broomstick except powerful Dark Magic

"Not necessarily dark magic but yes, depending on the incantation. Some one is trying to kill Potter"—Moody said, earning a glare from Dorea.

'I knew it,' Hermione gasped. 'Snape – look.' Snape was in the middle of the stands opposite them. He had his eyes fixed on Harry and was muttering non-stop under his breath.

'He's doing something – jinxing the broom,' said Hermione.

Snape groaned; there it was. Molly Weasley had been right, those moron children would think he was the bad guy.

The Potter all slowly turned to look at him. Sirius's wand pointed at him, but Marlene stopped him. Dumbledore intervenes. — "I'm sure Severus is doing no such thing"

"I hope not. I would like to think Albus doesn't have him here if he was trying to kill my son."

"What would I gain by killing the boy."

"I don't know… I don't know you anymore"—Lily stated and that felt like a punch to the gut, Snape just looked away.

the Weasleys dropped lower and circled beneath him, obviously hoping to catch him if he fell.

"If they are quick enough."

"It's still going to hurt them as well"

"Fucking cheat!"

"Why is no one stopping the game?"

Hermione had fought her way across she knocked Professor Quirrell headfirst into the row in front. Reaching Snape blue flames shot from her wand on to the hem of Snape's robes.

"Blimey, she's awesome."

"Or stupid"—

"The girl is trying to save her friend."

"Be killing me?"

"She set your robe on fire, not you…"
"I'm wearing the robe…Bloody menace."

'Neville, you can look!' Ron said. Neville had been sobbing into Hagrid's jacket for the last five minutes.

"Aww how sweet"—Alice said.

"He seems to inherit your entire personality, Ali."

Augusta pressed her lips. She liked her daughter-in-law, she was kind and strong enough when needed but she was too soft and gentle, and though decent qualities, Neville apparently used them as shields, and it was jeopardizing his strength.

Harry was speeding towards the ground when the crowd saw him clap his hand to his mouth as though he was about to be sick – he hit the pitch on all fours – coughed – and something gold fell into his hand.

'I've got the Snitch!' he shouted, waving it above his head, and the game ended in complete confusion.

James jumped in the air excited— "He got it, he got it"— His excitement was contagious Lily was shaking her head in amusement— "Yes, he did"—She beamed and hugged her husband once he sat down. She whispered coquettishly. — "Apparently you inherited him more than your good looks."—

"He almost swallowed it"—Remus said making a disgusted look at Sirius, both were able to hear James and Lily flirting. Sirius shook his head proudly— "The pup is talented; I can see him trying for pro."

"Now Harry, go to the party with your team"—Monty said.

"He's too little for that"—

'It was Snape,' Ron was explaining. 'Hermione and I saw him. He was cursing your broomstick,

"No honey you didn't"—Monty said—"he could have been doing the counter curse"

"She's never going to believe that. Snape is their villain"—Andromeda stated.

Snape rolled his eyes and sighed.

'He tried to get past that three-headed dog at Hallowe'en.

'How do you know about Fluffy?' he said.

I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the –' 'Yes?' said Harry eagerly.

Everyone turned to Hagrid who was grinding. – "I finally get one."

"No, no… that animal almost killed my grandson"—Augusta said.

"Mate we need to work on the lying."—Sirius told Hagrid who blushed.

CHAPTER TWELVE —The Mirror of Erised

the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs.

Molly groaned— "We are going to have to work on that."

Mad-eye narrowed his eyes— "The turban is important."

'I do feel so sorry,' said Draco Malfoy, one Potions class, 'for all those people who have to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas because they're not wanted at home.'

Andromeda frowned—"I can't believe this is how Cissy raised him."—she started planning how to get in contact with her sister, she hoped she could still save her.

"He will have lots of fun"—Lily stated trying to ignore the sting. The Evans always went big on Christmas and so did the Potters, Harry hadn't enjoyed that, it hurt.

"I don't mean to be insensitive but if you could go to Romania, then why didn't you buy Ron a new wand?"—Kingsley stated.

Arthur opened his mouth but closed it back— "I don't know…"

'Hi, Hagrid, want any help?' Ron asked,

'Are you trying to earn some extra money, Weasley? Hoping to be gamekeeper yourself when you leave Hogwarts, I suppose – that hut of Hagrid's must seem like a palace compared to what your family's used to.'

"Why is this boy still Not minding his business."

"To cause trouble. It's what we used to do."—Remus said.

"Reminds me so much of his father."— Andy said with distaste.

"Your favoritism is showing."—Alice said looking at Snape.

"He's not even going to get punished."

"Mr. Wesley moved to attack Mr. Malfoy."— Snape stated. —"It's obvious who is going to initiate the fight."

"Malfoy was insulting our family both Boys needed to be addressed."

'I hate them both,' said Harry, 'Malfoy and Snape.'

James couldn't agree more with his son. He had nothing against Little Malfoy. After all, he was a kid, but he could understand his son's dislike for Snape.

"I wish he would stop using that word." –Lily said.

James rolls his eyes. —"Do you think Snape doesn't hate him?"

Lily pressed her lips. —"Hate is a very strong word for someone that you know so very little of, for example, I hate Peter now. But I can hate Peter because I knew Peter. I like to believe that Snape doesn't hate our son because he doesn't know him, hasn't even bothered to." –She said this out loud for everyone to hear. Snape pretended he didn't.

'Ever since you mentioned Nicolas Flamel we've been trying to find out who he is.'

"Maybe I should stop drinking." —Hagrid mumbled everyone heard him.

"Maybe you should."—Minerva said—"But also maybe Mr. Potter and his friend should mind their own business."

"I don't understand why they're so invested in it."—Dorea said.

"None of you are seeing it."—Mad-Eye stated, and he gave a point to look at his Aurors—"I'm disappointed."

Monty frowned at him; He knew what he was implying but he shook his head. Dumbledore wouldn't, or would he?

"They won't find anything if they're looking at recent books."

"I don't think they realize that Nicholas Flamel is that old, I don't think they realize that Dumbledore is old."

"I don't think they realize that the only thing they have to do is eat chocolate," -Remus said, making Dumbledore chuckle.

"Do you think everything gets fixed with chocolate?"—Ted asked

"Flamel comes up in Dumbledore's chocolate frog card that Harry read at the beginning while riding the train."

"Holy shit that's true."

Dumbledore and Minerva looked at each other. —"Does Madame Pince always treat you like that?"

"Like you're there to destroy her precious books and she'll rather set you on fire than Let you touch them?"-Marlene voiced

"Yes." -All her ex-student said.

Minerva frowned. She grabbed a parchment and started writing down things that she might need to start addressing about the school.

'Very safe, as they're both dentists,' said Hermione.

"Hey, we're getting more background on her."

"What's a dentist?"— Frank said.

"A healer for teeth." —Andromeda said. —"Muggles have specific healers for different parts of your body or different diseases?"

"She could ask them. I'm surprised she doesn't know it herself. Nicholas Flamel is quite famous in the Muggle's History too."—Lily said.

Ron also started teaching Harry wizard chess. Like everything else he owned, it had once belonged to someone else in his family , his grandfather.

Molly gasped, and Arthur laughed.—"How could we allow him to take that Chess Bored."

"Is it really that old?"—James asked, confused about their reaction.

"Well, it's quite old, but it's really in good pristine condition. The problem is that the pieces know a lot of curse words. My father had a filthy mouth."—Arthur said, chuckling.

"Well, they're going to learn some stuff then."

"Yes, because that's what we need, he already has a smart mouth. We don't need to add a foul mouth to it to"

"He sounds like a lousy chess player."

"I am not very good at it either."— Lily stated. — "Chess for me is supposed to be a game of concentration. And some of the chess pieces get very angry at you when you make the wrong move. Might as well play themselves."

'Will you look at this? I've got some presents!'

Lily once again leaned into her husband. The book was making her sad. The book was making her have so many emotions, she didn't know which one to focus on. She felt the tender kiss of James in her hair.

The rest of the people in the group felt sad. At least everyone in the circle knows what it is to have someone they missed during Christmas. They couldn't imagine what Harry was feeling.

To Harry, from Hagrid.

"That was very kind of you, Hagrid."

"It's nothing, Lily."

We received your message and enclose your Christmas present. From Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia. Sellotaped to the note was a fifty-pence piece.

"Well, fuck you, Petunia."—Lily said angrily.

"Lily!"—Dorea reprimanded her.

—"Sorry but why bother? She had to get close to an owl to send that, she hates animals, this is just being cruel and pathetic on a different level."

"How much is it?"

"Around a sickle."

" I agree with Lily they're just vile."

'My mum. I told her you didn't expect any presents and – oh, no,' he groaned, 'she's made you a Weasley jumper.'

"Thank you."—Lily and Dorea said at the same time, looking at Molly.

Molly just waved them off. —"I'm sure the moment Ron told me that Harry was not expecting a gift I started knitting, I would never leave a child without gifts. You have nothing to thank me."

'Every year she makes us a jumper,' said Ron, unwrapping his own, 'and mine's always maroon.'

"Oh." —Molly said. —"I guess I'm going to have to knit another sweater then."

Something fluid and silvery grey went slithering to the floor, where it lay in gleaming folds.

The Marauders and all four Potters look at each other. James and Monty shared a look, the invisibility cloak had been in the family for years. Family heirloom and a family secret. Both knew that it came from the Peverell line. Not all of them knew it came from the legend of the Deathly Hallows and both of them Were concerned about how much of that was going to come out. Dorea knew and Lily was told after their marriage, James had never told the boys, every pureblood family had secrets.

If that's what I think it is – they're really rare, and really valuable.'

'What is it?' Harry picked the shining, silvery cloth off the floor. It was strange to the touch, like water woven into

material. 'It's an Invisibility Cloak,' said Ron, a look of awe on his face. 'I'm sure it is – try it on.'

"Who would give him an invisibility cloak?"—Frank stated. — "Those are expensive."

Your father left this in my possession before he died. It is time it was returned to you. Use it well. A Very Merry Christmas to you.

All eyes turned to James.—"It's a family heirloom passed from father to son or from father to daughter. But I… I don't have the invisibility cloak."—James turned to Monty.

"I have it upstairs. I couldn't send it to the vault."

"Why do you have it?"— James asked Dumbledore.

Dumbledore was frowning at the book A.P. spoke. —"Because As I said, Dumbledore of the Future did a few things that a lot of people wouldn't approve of, and one of them was that after you and Lily died, he went into the house in Godrics to look more closely at what happened and he found the cloak. Dumbledore has an appreciation for invisibility cloaks with a long family history."

Dumbledore frowned at the implications and A.P. turned to assure his family—"Dumbledore took good care of it, he kept it safe"

Remus and Sirius were very confused they both knew that the invisibility cloak was important to James. They also knew that it was a family heirloom and James only allowed them to use it after they promised to protect it at all costs. But now It feels like they were missing something.

Dumbledore and Monty shared a look, he knew Dumbledore was going to start questioning him. He turned to his grandson. —"When?"

"Until the very last book."

—Monty pressed his lips but nodded. He would have to talk to his grandson in private.

"I don't want to point out the obvious but we are very confused and it's clearly something we need to know."

"Not necessarily, it's a secret that none of you should know about, but that eventually we'll have to learn, and I'm not very happy with that. —Monty said Coldly.

A.P.—"It's a family secret of generations, it played a part at the end of the war for Dad. It's important enough that I'm the only one who knows everything right now in my time."

James turned to look at him surprised—"Not your brother?"

"Jamie knows and understands why he was told but he doesn't want any part in it. His oldest son will be told to keep it in the direct line but so well mine if I have any, just in case."

Snape was frowning, Potter always had everything easy and apparently, it was because his father had raised him like that. Given children tools to disrespect authority and become rebels was disgusting, he turned to Dumbledore, what in the hell was the old man thinking by letting the brat loose with such an important artifact?

"That's the first thing he owns from you."—Lily told James trying to change the topic from the cloak, she had been incredibly skeptical about it when James shared the secret and Monty had promised her, she could research all she wanted when the war ended.

"Yes, better not show that cloak to the twins I want my school intact. Though I'm now understanding how you were able to get away with many things."—Minerva said to the boys.

"No, we owe that to something else."

"That mysterious map you all have talked about?"

Sirius gave Kingsley an innocent smile.

'You haven't got a letter on yours,' George observed. 'I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid – we know we're called Gred and Forge.'

Molly shook her head, amused at her sons. But she was quite proud of how the twins were getting Harry into more festive feelings. —"They sound so much like my brothers and I don't know how much I like that."

Percy Weasley 'P for prefect! Get it on, Percy, come on, we're all wearing ours, even Harry got one.' 'I – don't – want –' said Percy thickly, as the twins forced the jumper over his head

"I'm getting a little concerned about this one."—Arthur said, turning around to look at his wife.

He slipped out of bed and wrapped the Cloak around himself.

The marauder smiled and Lily shook her head, exasperated. —"Couldn't you wait, I don't know one or two more years to give him the cloak?"

James turned to look at his wife in horror.

—"Don't like me like that, he is little I just want him to stay in his bed warm and out of trouble."

"He's half you and half me, his second name is trouble."

"Given the fact his second name is yours, I agree"—

James chuckled.

"Well, he's your son, Evans. The library of all the places to go. He's going to the library."

"It's Potter now and I'm not happy with that either. Plus, the restriction section has the charm, he's probably going to wake up the entire castle if he tries to open one of the books."

"A rope?"—Augustus said. —"When I was in school the beginning of the restricted section had a ward, that shook you If Madame Agatha didn't walk you into the section herself."

Minerva wrote on her parchment.

Harry's neck prickled. Maybe he was imagining it, maybe not, but he thought a faint

whispering was coming from the books, as though they knew someone was there who shouldn't be.

"His senses are incredible"— Monty praised his grandson—"With a little bit more training he would be a good duelist."

Oh, he's going to open it"—Lily said amused. —"It will scare him"

A piercing, blood-curdling shriek split the silence – the book was screaming! Harry snapped it shut,

"I didn't know they could do that."—Ted said.

"Yes. It's like an alarm. Only Madam Pince, professors, and the head girl and boy have the countercourse. Before I became head girl it would take me 3 to 4 minutes to do the required wand movement"

"But it took you almost a month to understand the charm" –Alice reminds her.

"There's a reason why those books are restricted,"- Dumbledore said. —"And how would you possibly have time enough to find the counter curse without Madame Pince finding you in there?"

"The same way my son's in there."

"Did you let everyone borrow the invisibility cloak?"—Minerva asked James

"No, only the boys and Lily but only after she asked nicely don't ask how…that's private"—Lily snickered but she had a small blush.

"The fun we had with that cloak."

"Eww, mum I don't need to know that"—

Dorea shrugged.

Snape presses his lips together if only he had been able to catch him Potter would have known what it meant to get in trouble.

"Well, at least he realized he was still solid. Peter walked into a wall thinking he would go through it"—Remus said and sighed, It would be difficult not talking of the Rat in their stories.

"He knows where the kitchen is, he should have gone there instead"

"For a moment I thought he was back with the dog."

"He's being lured"—Alastor stated.

It was a magnificent mirror, : Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi.

"I show you not your face, but your heart's desire."—Monty said. —"What the hell is the mirror of Erised doing in Hogwarts?"

"Is it evil?"—His wife asked.

"Depends, It will show Harry what he desires the most."

Lily and James hold on to each other.

His heart was pounding he had seen not only himself in the mirror, but a whole crowd of people standing right behind him.

Monty started nodding his head. He knew what the mirror did, It slowly drove you to madness, showing you what you would never be able to have.

She had dark red hair and her eyes – her eyes are just like mine ...He wore glasses, and his hair was very untidy. It stuck up at the back, just like Harry's did.

'Mum?' he whispered. 'Dad?'

Lily broke into a cry, and James had silent tears strolling down his cheeks. Dorea was trying to control her sobs into her husband's neck.

Lily spoke through her cries— "We are his deepest desire, we are not there Jamie, we are not there"—she lamented. James engulfed his wife in a tight hug. – "I know my love, but we are here for this Harry, and I'll make sure it stays like that"

If it weren't for the years of doing this and the different reactions he had witnessed Albus Potter would be crying too. He could feel the sadness and see the pain in some of the faces in the circle. —" Until this moment, he had no idea how either of you looked."—That only made them cry more.

They just looked at him, smiling. And slowly, Harry looked into the faces of the other people in the mirror and saw other pairs of green eyes like his, other noses like his, even a little old man who looked as though he had Harry's knobbly knees – Harry was looking at his family, for the first time in his life.

This time, Dorea could be heard crying with Lily.—"He's all alone."

"We're not there."—Marlene said with a broken voice—"That Harry"—she said turning to Sirius and Remus—"He has no idea that we exist, why has no one sat down a spoken to him about his family?"

AP spoke. —"Unfortunately, many people assume their grief was stronger than Harry's and many people believed he was safe."

Remus felt anger coursing through him, how could he do that to Harry? How could he abandon him?

Sirius was trying to clean his tears, making sure that no one saw him, but it was impossible. His pup didn't even know who he was, he loved that boy as if he was his own. Once again, he cursed Peter, wherever he was. He couldn't fix that reality, but he would fix this one. Peter would pay.

"Oh no, Harry, don't come back."—Lily said.

Harry couldn't eat. He had seen his parents and would be seeing them again tonight.

"This is what the mirror does. It slowly drives him mad. You don't want nothing more but to sit there and stare at it."

"What is it doing in the school?"

"He's getting reckless, even Ron has noticed it."

"Neither of them should be near that mirror. "

"More concerned about the fact that the three-headed dog and a mirror that drives people insane are very badly warded."—Kingsley stated.

Ron, though, was staring transfixed at his image.

'I am – I'm wearing the badge like Bill used to – and I'm holding the House Cup and the Quidditch Cup – I'm Quidditch captain, too!'

Molly frowned, but Arthur understood. —"oh Ronnie."—

"I Don't Understand." —Molly said.

"He wants to be better than his brothers. Because he feels inferior, I guess our future selves have done our youngest son wrong."

"Your son has no tact."

"Oh, they are fighting, stop"

"People have killed for that mirror, people have killed themselves because of that mirror."

"Dad, Stop."

'I know what you're thinking about, Harry, that mirror. Don't go back tonight.'

'Why not?'

'I dunno, I've just got a bad feeling about it

"Ron has a good head if he's able to realize that the mirror is enchanted."

"Not to be mean or rude to Ron but his desires are vain. Harry's desires are more emotionally deep. It feeds on that."-Monty said

That third night There was nothing to stop him staying here all night with his family. Nothing at all. Albus Dumbledore 'Strange how short-sighted being invisible can make you,

Monty looked at his friend in anger. —"Back again? You knew he had been to that mirror since the very first day. You brought that mirror into the school."

"I haven't done this. I am as confused as you."

'It shows us nothing more or less than the deepest, most desperate desire of our hearts. You, who have never known your family, see them standing around you. Ronald Weasley, who has always been overshadowed by his brothers, sees himself standing alone, the best of all of them.

The Potters and the Weasleys flinched at how directly and tactlessly Dumbledore had stated that.

Arthur didn't like how insecure and materialistic Ron was starting to become. When Albus told him about their money problems he pretended he was ok but he had been scared, he didn't want his children to have the same life as his.

'The Mirror will be moved to a new home tomorrow, Harry, and I ask you not to go looking for it again.

"The mirror shouldn't have been there in the first place. What kind of game are you playing? Dumbledore." —James said.

as he shoved Scabbers off his pillow.

James Once again frowned at the mention of the rat. He would have to talk to his father about it. If by any means that was who he thought, it was. He didn't know how he was going to react to that.

"It was a personal question but Harry had the right to ask since you knew very well what he was looking for. So, what is your deepest desire? Dumbledore." —Dorea stated plainly.

Albus Looked at her and gave her a sad smile. —"The same as Harry. My family is complete and alive."

AP was impressed. He didn't think Dumbledore would say it.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN —Nicolas Flamel

Harry started having nightmares. he dreamed about his parents disappearing in a flash of green light.

"Oh, I hope that's his imagination."

Wood was becoming a fanatic, but Harry was on wood's side.

James shook his head. —"Becoming a fanatic for the wrong reasons is only going to make you burn out faster. But I guess I understand. If he's exhausted, he can't dream. That means no nightmares."

'Snape's refereeing?'

Lily looked at her old friend and surprise. —"You hate flying."

He shrugged—"I suppose Dumbledore made me do it so your child wouldn't get murdered."

Lily gave him an unimpressed look.

Ron and Hermione playing chess. Chess was the only thing Hermione ever lost at, something Harry and Ron thought was very good for her.

"Might as well. Looks like she needs a little bit of humbleness."

Marlene bit her lip to not laugh at her boyfriend's statement. —"What is it with you and Hermione?"

"Nothing. I don't even know her, she does sound exhausting though"

'Don't play,' said Hermione at once.

'Say you're ill,' said Ron.

'Pretend to break your leg,' Hermione suggested.

'Really break your leg,' said Ron.

"But Poppy would have him fix up immediately."

"Poppy would probably force him to stay the night, which means he won't be able to play."

Snape rolled his eyes-"I won't harm the child. I'm probably doing it so no one else harms the child."

James—"Minnie, I told you when I was Captain. We need reserve teams."

Minerva wrote it down.

Neville toppled into the common room. Everyone fell about laughing except Hermione, who leapt up and performed the counter-curse.

"Oh, why is everyone laughing? My poor baby."

Snape rolled his eyes.—"This is the kind of thing your husband would do. This is the kind of thing these three would do."

Dorea turned to her respective children.

James gave her an unimpressed shrug. —"I could say I'm sorry but I'm not entirely sorry, I was a kid, I've learned and he did say he didn't want my apologies, I won't try again."

"Unfortunately, it's what happens."-Ted said. —"Taking the gits that normally would do it for fun out of the equation. In a school with 600 students, it is normal for someone to be mean to someone. It is the teacher's place to be aware of it."

"So what are you saying? That it's our fault? Can't control everything." —Minerva stated.

"Yes, but if you pay attention the people in charge of watching and patrolling are not doing their job."—Alice— "The ghosts are ignoring the children, no one saw a child out their common room?"

Kingsley said-"It seemed Hogwarts is running a little wild."

'Malfoy,' said Neville shakily.

"That sounds more like direct targeting."—Remus said.

"Which is what you would do."—Snape stated.

A.P. frowned at Snape's attitude, and then he remembered that everyone was quite young in this reality, would that be enough for Snape, hopefully, he would realize he could have a better life.

"Well, isn't someone feeling brave today?"—Sirius said.

Dorea pressed her lips together and realized that before she talked to Jamie, she would have to speak to Sirius about it. —"That's enough."—She said, giving Sirius a stare that said we would be discussing this in private.

'Go to Professor McGonagall!' Hermione urged Neville. 'Report him!'

"He should."

Snape snorted and so did the Marauders. Minerva gave them a questioning look, Lily was the one that spoke.— "Speaking as someone that always gave this three hell for tormenting that one over there."-she pointed at Snape-" I saw things a little differently, When the boys would miss with the Slytherins you would give them detention and that was it, you moved on, and they did it again but more discreetly. When the Slytherins fought back, only some would get detention and others a slap on the wrist, I know that it was to keep things from getting more aggressive given the circumstances, but no one gave a damn."

Minerva frowned and was about to speak when Alice intervened—"And for example, the Ravens, they weren't angels either, Stewart McClarty once punched a third-year puff and Professor Filius didn't believe her because McClarty was one of his best students. I was the one that picked Millie from the floor and took her to Poppy, all because her father and McClarty's brother had fought in the wizengamot."

Marlene nodded. —"I have to agree with Remus, this sounds like direct targeting, and Malfoy also picking on the trio. It was the same thing that happened with us, my father would give me the names of the people he didn't want me close to and Uncle Monty would do the same thing to these three, which is why these three would always target the sons and daughters, I'm not saying some of them didn't deserve it, Sirius made sure Millie could walk without fear from getting jump by McClarty but the prejudice started in our homes and it hasn't left these halls."

Dumbledore frowned; He knew why he hadn't intervened so much. The last couple of years he couldn't Anger the sons of the Death Eaters, or he would have death eaters inside of his school. But had he and Minerva become so unattached from the school that they didn't even pay attention to their students anymore?

Dorea massaged her temple, How easy it was to see your own mistakes when you saw them from a different perspective.

'You've got to stand up to him, Neville!' said Ron. 'He's used to walking all over people, but that's no reason to lie down in front of him and make it easier.' 'There's no need to tell me I'm not brave enough to be in Gryffindor, Malfoy's already done that,' Neville choked.

"Oh, Ron, you shouldn't have said it like that."

Frank smiled. —"It was a nice sentiment but as Marlene said, I think Neville's behavior comes from home."

"What does that suppose to mean?"— His mother said, Frank, didn't hold back. —"That my son is like this because of you."

Augusta looked offended and striking. She just looked at her son with disdain and turned around back to the book.

Harry pulled out a Chocolate Frog,

. He gave it to Neville, who looked as though he might cry.

'You're worth twelve of Malfoy,' Harry said.

"That's right, Harry."—Andy said—"i hope it doesn't take years for him to realize not all Slytherins are bad."

'I've found Flamel! I told you I'd read the name somewhere.

Remus made a gesture with his hand pointing at the book that said. See, I told you so.

"I wish they would let go of this mystery."

"The problem is that now they know what it is. It kind of feels like it's only going to get worse."

"Can you imagine what it would be to Live 600 years, the things you would have seen?"

"I would love to live 600 years if I stay like I am right now. But he doesn't look young, does he?"—Kingsley said, looking at Dumbledore.

"No I am afraid not, Nicholas does not look 600, but he does look old and he does move slower. He's a little more rigid but he's full of knowledge. Unfortunately, it's been a few years since a public appearance, they like to stay in Solitude."

"Wouldn't that be a boring existence?"

he seemed to keep running into Snape whether Snape was following him, trying to catch him on his own. Snape was so horrible to Harry.

"Would it kill you to be nicer to him?"—Lily said—"He is my son. You can't possibly be blind that he has my personality more than he has James."

"We don't know that, these books talk about specific moments of his life, not every single day, and the little we have read He's more like Potter than you're seeing."

"What happened to you?"—Lily asked but no one knew if it was rhetorical or if she wanted an answer, Snape just swallowed and looked back at him.

"It's more likely that Dumbledore put him to keep an eye on him."

Little did Harry know that Ron and Hermione had been secretly practising the Leg-Locker Curse.

"They are really good friends."

"I'm more concerned that they have made Severus the villain in their story without actually any proof."—Minerva frowned. —"That could be dangerous."

"You think they will attack me?... Again."— He asked

"Of course not. There are 11. I just don't like the fact that they're so terrified of you that they would think you were capable of murdering them. You're their professor. You're supposed to be trustworthy. They're supposed to come to you with a problem."

"I am more concerned they're not coming to you with this problem. They haven't talked to adults about what they just learned."

"I regret reading more chapters. We should have gone to bed. I'm exhausted."

'The whole school's out there!' said FredWeasley, peering out of the door. 'Even – blimey – Dumbledore's come to watch!'

"You're out there because you know Harry is in danger."—Alastor told his friend—"Why haven't you called the Aurors, every quidditch match the people invited are different, so you know it's not coming from outside. Which means it's a staff member, I'm going with Quirrell. Why haven't you called the authorities?"

Dumbledore Stayed silent.

Someone had poked Ron in the back of the head. It was Malfoy.

"What the hell is he doing on the other side?"

"My nephew is problematic."

"I wonder"—Augusta said—"In this reality, the Lordships don't exist but that doesn't mean the purebloods haven't raised their children with those rules and manners. Harry rejected Malfoy's hand…"

Everyone understood. —"He's offended but Harry has no idea that he has offended him. Every pureblood in the castle most likely believes Harry is rejecting the customs, oh that's trouble."

"And Harry has no idea."

A.P.—"At that moment only the Slytherin were living by the rule, the others were more neutral."

'I'm worth twelve of you, Malfoy,' he stammered.

Frank is proud of her son. —"There you go, now punch him in the face."

Ron snapped. Before Malfoy knew what was happening, Ron was on top of him, wrestling him to the ground. Neville hesitated, then clambered over the back of his seat to help. 'Come on, Harry!' Hermione screamed, Harry had pulled out of the dive, his arm raised in triumph, the Snitch clasped in his hand.

"Yes."—James clapped proudly,-"Two wins in a row, if he keeps it up they will win the cup"

Alice said-"Who cares about the stupid cup, my son is fighting two trolls"

"I'm sure he's fine."

"Three students are fighting Muggle style. Where the hell are the professors?"

it had barely lasted five minutes.

"Hey. If no one has beaten the one that it's in existence, then that's another record for Harry. Good job, cub."

"You did not just remind my child about that damn mirror that you brought into the school to torment him with. What is the matter with you, Dumbledore?"

"Not minding his own business, might get him into a dangerous situation."

"Are you threatening my grandson?"

"I'm stating a fact."

'You don't want me as your enemy, Quirrell,' said Snape, taking a step towards him.

Kingsley said-"I'm concerned with the fact that Quirrell here is trying to steal the stone and that you and Dumbledore are aware, and you are playing a mouse/cat game."

"I already knew it was Quirrell, but I want to know if Snape here is part of it or if is he using Quirrell?"

"Think whatever you want."—Snape said, he was tired.

"Harry you just had to go back to your common room. We must teach this Harry to mind his business."

"This just became more exciting for them."

"I don't want them to leave it alone, I'm incredibly curious about what the hell is going on. Everyone in Hogwarts has their agenda now." —

"Unfortunately, the pup is right in the middle."

I gave Malfoy a black eye and Neville tried to take on Crabbe and Goyle single-handed! He's still out cold but Madam Pomfrey says he'll be all right

Frank said-"Well, at least he fought back that's probably going to help him with his confidence."

"Yeah, but he didn't win."

"I'm trying to stay positive here, Black."

'So you mean the Stone's only safe as long as Quirrell stands up to Snape?' said Hermione

"Well, they got it all wrong. Can't fault them they're children."-Arthur said

Thank you for reading.
