Welp, here we go. For those out of the loop, this is related to a contest on twitter known as Nep One-Draw, where every week, you do (or in some cases, write) art about a character picked from the bot. This week, it's our favorite little tome, Histoire's turn. So yeah, wish me luck.

To many, this was just a normal day in Planeptune, but to Histoire, it was about as regular as any other day in the basilicom. You know, the usual 'Neptune, despite being the Goddess of said nation, never does her work', THAT, kinda stuff. Histoire, although very annoyed, has sadly gotten used to it, afterall, for as long as she could remember, that's pretty much been the case for a VERY long time.

Here she is today, trying her very best to convince her dau-err, the lazy goddess to do her work, to which Neptune would of course, try to excuse herself:

"Aaaah come on Histy, do I really have to do this, I mean, as long as the people are happy, then I think I did a great job as a CPU." was what Neptune said, as she tried to explain herself why she doesn't do her work, to which Histoire, who is shown to be a little calm, is not fully content with her response.

"Neptune, I get that, but as a CPU, if you want your people to be happy and not leave your nation, then you must do the necessary work in order to keep those shares growing. Do you at the very least, understand where I'm going with this?" said Histoire, who by the tone of her voice, is a bit annoyed at what's happening.

"*Groan* But must I seriously have to stress myself with all this paperwork? I get that Nep Jr. is out with her friends and all, but can you atleast let me beat my highscore and THEN I'll do it?" Neptune tried to plead to Histoire to atleast let her have a fun time, to which the little tome, although still not happy about the goddess' excuse for slacking off, just sighed.

"Fine, however, you better do as you promise" She hands out the paperwork for today, and continued talking: "Here, I expect it to be done until half an hour, until then… just, please do it." Was all the tome said, clearly at her breaking point, but whatever, she's atleast SOMEWHAT hopeful that Neptune is keeping her promise, somewhat.

30 minutes later

Welp, it was now time for Histoire to check up on Neptune and she if she kept her promise or not. When she opened the door to check, she sees Neptune, who looked pretty relieved, standing there, with the paperwork she was given being done. Upon seeing this, she was quite pleased, but, inspite of that, her mind is focused on Neptune. She seems very… upset, about something, but what is it? It was only time she found out:

"Hello Neptune, I see you're done with what I asked you to do, now, normally I'd be grateful that you're doing the proper work a Goddess is intended, I've notice you looked… displeased. Do you want to talk about it?" Upon hearing this, Neptune wasted no time and simply said "yeah". Jeez, even her lack of energy in that tone is starting to creep the little tome.

"So, is there anything you want to talk about?" was all she said, clearly not being used to situations like this.

"Histy I'm… I'm fine, really, I am…" but the fairy was not convinced by the way she was talking: "Neptune I'm being serious here…" followed by a "So am I, I'm doin A-ok..!" but again, the oracle she was now talking was still not convinced.

"Look Neptune, just please, PLEASE, tell me what's wrong, that's all I'm telling you right now" Histoire wasted no time building the tension up, all she wants is answers.

"Alright fine, I'll tell you exactly what's going on: So, after I was done beating my old highscore and got a new one, I did exactly what you told me to do, and that was filling up all this boring paper crap, but while I was halfway done, something in my head kept popping up" upon hearing this, Histoire is now suddenly curious: "Well, I… don't know how to say this but, ack, I'm still not used to speaking in this language, mais continuer…" was what she said, who Neptune very much understood what she meant.

"No worries, I understood that perfectly. Anyways, as I was saying, while I was halfway done, I kept having these thoughts in my head, they kept telling that…" Neptune wasn't used to being in this situation where she is being interrogated, but Histoire, still being curious, tried to encourage her "Look Neptune, whatever it is, just know that I will never make fun of you, alright? So, what is it" upon hearing this, the CPU gulped, and finally, but slowly built up enough courage to continue where she left of:

"They kept telling that you hate me, and for a while, I believed it. Histy, I'm so sorry if you feel hurt by this, but I can't keep this going longer than ever" after she finished talking, she looked at Histy, who seemed very shocked, however, what the CPU doesn't know, was that the little fairy was deeply hurt. All Histoire's thinking is 'why? why does she think that way?', she was truly hurt by what Neptune said.

"Neptune, why would you ever assume that I hate you or anything? There is not a single thing that would ever make me hate you, got it? Sure, I may not like it when you don't do your work, but that doesn't mean I downright hate you."

"…But why Histy? Why is it that no matter what, you'll never hate me?" was all the purple haired girl said.

"Neptune… what I'm about to tell you also applies to Nepgear, understood?" Neptune nodded. "Ok, good. Neptune, you… you… *sigh* you're like a daughter to me, and it would break my heart to see you all sad" was what she said. To say she was embarrassed would be an understatement of the century, for she never expected this day to go on. However, what she didn't expect, was Neptune's reaction. She looked to see the now smilling CPU, who was chuckling to herself.

"Oh Histy, I always knew you were some ol' cranky mother, but that's ok. Histy, it's never a problem to admit to these kinds of feelings, and if that's how you feel about me and Nep Jr., then please, don't let these feelings get to you"

"I… understand, thank you Neptune. You have no idea how much I've been wanting to hear you say that." however, just as she finished talking, Nepgear started showing up, who's very confused as to what's going on.

"U-um, did I miss anything?" was all the young candidate said, who has no idea what awaits her.

Welp, what do you think? Honestly, I might make more stuff for the challenge but who knows, only time will tell. As always, any feedback is appreciated. But with that out of the way, enjoy.
