8#Waiting-Room.
One Hour Later...
At Fort Collins hospital, Tyler and Terrance sat in the therapy waiting-room, along with few other people who had appointments. All had been quiet between the two during the whole drive here. Then again, what would they have said to each other after that episode Tyler had earlier with that false alarm of seeing Evan?
"I can't believe i'm here." Tyler said, his arms folded. It had been a while since he'd seen a hospital, much less been in one. Truth be known, it brought back bad memories for him. He hadn't set foot into a hospital since the month Evan died. The last time he had been in the hospital in Harmoney back in Utah was when he and his Mom went to visit Evan on May 11th, five days after his incident, only to learn he had passed away, which had really hurt Tyler. He was never the same after that day and he doubted he would be ever again.
Terrance, however, didn't respond, as he didn't know what to say to the boy that would make him feel better.
They had been sitting out here for a whole hour, watching the minutes tick by, and no one's name had been called to see any of the "crazy doctors". How long did it take for them to see someone anyway? Tyler passed the time by watching a gray mini-TV hanging from the corner in the ceiling. Not that anything good was on, it was just a game of baseball. It was times like this that Tyler wished he had brought his walkman cassette player with him so he could listen to some songs to pass the time. But how was he suppose to know that he'd be let out of school early and brought here because he had seen his dead best friend's ghost?
The door to the doctors' offices then opened, revealing a female nurse wearing a white lab coat. "Tyler Willcox, the doctor will see you now."
"It's about time." Tyler said before getting up from his seat.
"Good luck." Terrance said.
Tyler walked up to the doorway where the nurse was and entered inside, followed by her closing the door afterwards.
