Episode 4: A Greasy Mascot Race
Recap
Chris: Last time on Total Drama: Return of the All-Stars, it was a bingo challenge and the contestants had to put chips on the pictures of the contestants who are not invited to compete this season. Brick bragged about being good at bingo, only to find out he sucks at bingo and Topher annoyed everyone with his non-stop narrating, and they were both voted off. After the opening sequence, Duncan knocks on the door of the girl's side of the Kangaroo's cabin. Gwen answers it.
Gwen: What is it, Duncan?!
Duncan: Hey Babe. I just want to know if you want to go out after this stupid game is over.
Gwen: No! I said it's over! I dumped you because you were still obsessed with Courtney! Now leave me alone!
She slams the door on his face.
(Confessional: Duncan)
Duncan: Ugh. Gwen isn't talking to me. What did I do wrong? And she's just using Courtney as an excuse to... (He then had an idea.) I know. I'll just use Courtney to make Gwen jealous and she'll have to take me back! Oh yeah...

Beth sneakily heads to Team Kangaroo's cabin and knocks on the door to the boy's side. Damien answers it.
Damien: Can I help you, and aren't you on the other team?
Beth: Yes, but can I see Chase real quick?
Damien: Sure. Chase, one of the original cast members want to see you!
Chase approaches them.
Chase: Okay. Can I help you with something, um...
Beth: My name is Beth.
Chase: Okay.
Beth and Chase are talking to each other.
Beth: So tell me. Why are you and Emma broken up? What did you do to make her dump you?
Chase: If I tell you this, promise you won't get mad?
Beth: I won't get mad.
Chase: Okay. I'll tell you. (He breathes in and out.) I cut the brakes to her car and she ended up crashing into a pet store.
Beth: You did what?!
Chase: But I only did it for views.
Beth: You could've gotten her killed!
Chase: I know. But I want her back. We got back together a few times, but broke up each time. Well, the first time we got back together was because she thought I apologized for cutting the brakes to her car and the second time was because she thought I threw a challenge to help her win when I was actually going for pizza. I couldn't help it. She knows I love pizza! But she saw the episode and we broke up again.
Beth: You know cutting the brakes on her car would end up causing her to crash and she could've died! You know she's never gonna get back together with you if you keep letting the fame get in your head! So you need to choose. Emma or your fame on the internet? You need to make your decision!
She walks away.
(Confessional: Chase)
Chase: Is Beth right? Should I choose Emma over my internet fame? Eh, I'll think about it.

(Confessional: Beth)
Beth: Okay. Looks like I'm on the progress in fixing Chase and Emma's relationship. Hopefully Chase takes my advice and apologizes to Emma for real because nothing's more important than relationships with the ones you love. I wish Brady realized that before we broke up.

It was now time for the next challenge, and they are now at the same part of Australia from season 3.
Chris: Your challenge for today is a simple race. As a throwback to Pahkitew Island's grease pig challenge, you will be carrying your team's mascot, which will be actual animals and they will be covered in grease.
Dawn gasps in horror.
(Confessional: Dawn)
Dawn: I can't believe this! He's still mistreating the wildlife! No animal deserves to suffer, no matter how dangerous they are!
End of Confessional
Dawn: Why would you cover those animals in grease?! First the pigs and now the bull and kangaroo?! Plus, the kangaroo's baby could be traumatized!
Chef: Hey! This was the producer's idea, not ours! Plus, the kangaroo doesn't have a baby yet!
(Confessional: Bowie)
Bowie: Okay. Sometimes I wonder how come they're not in jail yet.

Scott: This won't be so hard.
Chris: The course is riddled with dangerous obstacles.
Julia: You just had to open your mouth, didn't you?!
Damien: Wait. Obstacle course? They're not that dangerous, are they?
Chris: You'll see when you get there. Anyways, you all must be together when you're with your greased up animals.
The bull and kangaroo approach then covered in grease.
Chef: Remember. You all must race to the end of the cliff, which is also where we held for one of the challenges back on our World Tour.
Chris: Your race begins... now!
He blows his airhorn and they all run off.
Ripper: Time for us to win three in a row!
Julia: I don't think so, Ripper! Team Bull will be the winners this time!
Lightning: Sha-please! I'm the strongest player in Team Kangaroo! I'm gonna carry our team to victory!
MK: Keep telling yourself that, Sha-Old Man!
They laughed at him and he was not happy.
(Confessional: Lightning)
Lightning: Those newbies are so gone!

Beth slowly ran to Chase.
Beth: Chase, you remember that you must apologize to Emma. Take my advice if you want her back.
Chase: Okay. I'll do it.
Beth then rejoined her team.
Heather: Um, hello? He's from the other team! Why are you talking to him?!
Beth: I'm trying to fix his relationship with Emma.
Alejandro: Look. We have another challenge to win. So you should listen to my señorita.
Beth: You and Heather are a thing?
Heather: Um, no. We're not!
Gwen: Our first All-Star finally said otherwise. These two were all over each other, acting all lovey dovey.
Owen: So Al got Heather as his girlfriend? Awesome!
The first obstacle course was a huge pit filled with a bunch of scorpions on the bottom. But there was a vine to get to the other side.
Julia: Scorpions?!
Sky: How are we gonna get the bull to the other side?!
Zoey: Maybe getting rid of Brick was a bad idea, Julia!
Julia: Hey! He costed us the game last time! We don't need him!
Sugar: I'll carry him to the other side.
Lightning grabs the kangaroo and he swings to the other side.
Lightning: Sha-Yeah!
He tried to hang on to the kangaroo, but due to it being covered in grease, he lost grip and it fell off the platform, but landed in its feet.
Jo: Thank goodness. Come on, team! Let's win this! (All of Team Kangaroo's members swung over the obstacle and made it to the other side, but Beth was the last one.) Come on, Ponytail Nerd!
Beth: You go! I'll catch up!
Beth grabs Chase's arm and she drags him behind the trees.
Chase: What are you...
Beth: Have you apologized yet?
Chase: No. Not yet.
Beth: But you said you were gonna...
Chase: I know, but I just need time.
Beth: You don't have time! You have to apologize to Emma for what you did. Make it sincere and she'll think about taking you back.
Chase: But...
Beth: But nothing! Man up and own up to your mistake!
Chase: Okay. I will! Thanks, Beth!
He and Beth returned and she swings to the other side and got off the obstacle course.
Beth: I'm back. (She noticed that her team didn't wait for her.) And they're gone. Wait for me!
Zoey: We have to find a way to get the bull across this platform!
Julia: I have an idea!
They all pick up the bull and then jumped over it. They then fell into the scorpions. Afterwards, they managed to climbed up with some scorpions on them.
Damien: I hate scorpions so much!
Priya: The other team are getting away! Hurry!
They ran off with the bull.
Chase: Emma, I have something I have to...
Emma: Not now, Chase! We have a challenge to win!
With the other team, who are far ahead.
Jo: I see the next obstacle!
Heather: Stop!
They stopped and the next obstacle was stepping stones with swinging tires swinging in between them and on the bottom was a pool filled with electric eels.
Lightning: I'll carry this kanga-
Cameron: Wait! We gotta find away across without getting hit!
Gwen: Does anybody have any ideas?
Cody: We could try to it one step at a time, but it has to be slow and steady.
Noah: Cody's right. Let's do this. But we do need to get the kangaroo across.
Lightning: I got this!
Beth rejoined them.
Beth: I'm here!
Jo: You were so far behind! What were you doing?!
Beth: I just had to...
Dave: I think you were talking to the other team!
Beth: No I wasn't!
The other team arrived.
Zoey: Oh you've got to be kidding me.
Screen fades to black and the commercial break begins.
After the commercial break, both teams were gonna find a way to make it across the obstacle.
Owen: How do we get across?
Jo: Stand aside, tubby! I got this!
She picks up the kangaroo and runs to the other side while holding it.
(Confessional: Owen)
Owen: Wow. Jo is so strong and athletic. I'm glad we have her on our team.
End of Confessional
Priya then had an idea.
Priya: Guys, I have an idea! Ride the bull!
Ripper: Oh no. Nerd girl had a plan! Run quickly!
Team Kangaroo starts to run through the obstacle while Team Bull rides their bull to the other side.
Zoey: Great plan, Priya!
Priya: Thanks. That was a part of my training.
Zoey: Training?
Priya: Yeah. My parents made me train for this show my whole life in case there was a reboot and it paid off.
Millie: It's all true.
Julia: Wow. Ripper is right. You are a nerd.
Jo: You knocked my team off the platform!
Julia: Not gonna lie, they kinda had it coming.
Jo: Okay! You wanna be like that? Maybe I'll do this!
Jo shoves Emma and she falls off the platform and nearly into the pool of electric eels.
Chase: Hey! That's my girlfriend! I'll save you, Emma!
Jo: I've got a challenge to win!
Beth and Dave climbed up.
Beth: What's your problem?!
Priya: My bad.
The rest of Team Bull climbed up.
Heather: You are so going down!
Emma was about to lose her grip.
Emma: I'm about to fall!
She loses her grip and Chase catches her.
Chase: I gotcha!
Emma: Chase?
Chase: I'm gonna pull you up!
Heather was about to kick Chase off the platform, but Beth grabbed her.
Beth: Oh no you don't!
Heather: But they...
Beth: I know, but we have a challenge to win!
Dave puts a bunch of grease on the kangaroo.
Dave: This might cost us the challenge, but it will make one of Team Bull's member suffer.
He laughs evilly and grabs Beth.
Beth: Hey! What are you doing?!
Chase pulls Emma up as Team Kangaroo ran off.
Emma: You saved me!
Chase: Yeah. Anything for you. Anyways, I would like to say... I'm sorry. I'm sorry for cutting the brakes to your car and making you crash into that pet store. I just let the fame get into my head and I didn't know what I was thinking. I won't do it again.
(Confessional: Emma)
Emma: Did he actually apologize for real or is he joking? Well, here's my response.
End of Confessional
Emma: (Grabs Chase on the collar and kisses him on the lips) I forgive you. Now come on! We have a challenge to win!
(Confessional: Chase)
Chase: Woo-hoo! I got my girl back! Yes! But I'm gonna keep my promise and not let the game get into my head.
End of Confessional
Team Bull follows Team Kangaroo to the final obstacle, which is a climb up the wall.
Owen: Climbing up a wall. This will be easy! (He starts to climb up the wall.) Just... gotta... keep... going... (Farts loudly) Oops.
Ripper: Ha ha ha! Nice one, Dude!
Heather: Ugh! Get up there, you big oaf!
Priya climbs up the wall and makes it to the top before Owen.
Priya: Come on, Guys! Finish line is straight ahead!
Chase and Emma helped carried the heavy bull to the top as Owen climbed to the top.
Lightning: Time to carry this Kangaroo!
He carries the kangaroo up the wall, but it slips off his grasp and Jo catches it.
Jo: Come on! Let's hurry!
Both teams then managed to climb up the wall one at a time until they managed to make it. Team Bull starts to run to the finish line and Beth starts to hold the kangaroo, but it was all covered in grease.
Beth: It's too heavy!
Lightning: Girl, chill! It wasn't heavy when Lightning carried it! Now let's go!
Beth starts to carry the kangaroo and starts to slip on a trail of grease.
Team Bull was about to reach to reach the finish line.
Bowie: I see the finish line!
Damien: We're gonna win!
Sky: Keep pushing!
Team Bull started to run as quick as they could while Team Kangaroo was catching up. Team Bull crosses the finish line first.
Chris: The Stampeding Bulls win immunity!
Team Bull cheers and Team Kangaroo groaned.
Heather: This is all Beth's fault! And where is our animal?!
Emma: Chase, I'm glad you saved me.
Chase: Yeah. I didn't want to sit by and let you get stung by electric eels.
They smile and kiss each other again.
(Confessional: Ripper)
Ripper: Chase and Emma back together? Who could've seen that coming? (Scoffs) Obviously not me.
End of Confessional
Cody: Wait. Has anyone seen Beth?
Beth was screaming while sliding on a trail of grease.
Beth: Somebody help me!
Beth loses grip of the greasy kangaroo and it lands on Lightning. She then slides into Chase, which causes him to fall off the cliff!
Chase: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Emma: CHASE!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
(Confessional: Beth and Leshawna)
Beth: (Crying) I... just... knocked... Chase... off... a... cliff!
Leshawna: But accidentally, right?
Beth: Yes!
Leshawna: Look. I'm sure that boy's gonna be alright.
End of Confessional
Chase was in a full body cast and Emma was crying.
Emma: Chase! I love you so much!
Jo: Not gonna lie, he kinda had it coming. (Everyone gave Jo angry glares.) What? He knocked you guys off the obstacle, and Emma said the same thing!
Chris: Team Kangaroo, let's head back to camp. You'll be sending two people home.
Later that night, Team Kangaroo was walking to their first elimination ceremony. After that, they took their seats.
Chris: Wow. For the first time, you guys lost to Team Bull. Chef, tell them how bad they were.
Chef: Jo, you pushed Emma and she was about to fall into a pool of electric eels. If it weren't for Chase, she would be electrocuted by now.
(Confessional: Jo)
Jo: Blame Julia for insulting my team!
End of Confessional
Chef: Beth, you have been talking to the other team's members behind their backs and you ended up pushing that team member off a cliff! (They all gave Beth angry glares.) Who knows how long it will take Chase to recover from his injuries?
(Confessional: Beth)
Beth: I didn't mean to knock him off a cliff! It was an accident! How am I supposed to explain it to everyone?
End of Confessional
Chef: Dave, you filled your team's animal entirely too much grease and it was the cause of Beth knocking Chase off that cliff!
They all got up and gave Dave furious glares.
Leshawna: You did what now?!
Dave: It's called strategy!
Chris: Anyways, time for the...
Emma approaches them with Chase, who is still in a full body cast and on a wheelchair. She was in tears due to what happened to him.
Emma: The doctors said that Chase's injuries were too severe, he's gonna have to leave. And you know what? I'm leaving with him!
Chris: Are you sure?
Emma: Yes!
Chris: Fine. Chase and Emma, head to the Bus of Shame.
Emma: Okay. Come on, Chase.
She wheels Chase to the Bus of Shame.
Chase: (Muffled due to the bandages) Okay, Babe.
Team Bull approached them.
Chris: Team Bull, you're down two players. So I decided to bring back two more All-Stars. So ladies and gentleman, welcome back, Wayne and Raj!
Wayne and Raj entered.
Wayne: Woo-hoo!
Raj: Hi Bowie!
Bowie: Hey Raj.
Wayne: Sucks about what happened to Chase tho.
Raj: Yeah.
Julia: Yeah... They were useless anyway.
She walked away.
Chris: Wayne and Raj, you two are the newest members of the Stampeding Bulls. Go ahead and join them.
Wayne: Yes Sir!
Raj: This is gonna be awesome!
They joined them.
Priya: So... how have things been?
Wayne: Things have been really good.
Raj: Yeah.
Millie: That's good.
At the Bus of Shame, Emma was about to enter with Chase when Beth approached them.
Beth: Emma, I am so sorry for what happened to Chase. I wasn't trying to knock him off a cliff! The trail of grease happened to be there and I couldn't stop! Please understand that this was an accident and it was never my intention!
Emma: Okay. I understand.
Beth: Really?
Emma: Yeah.
Beth: Okay. I thought for a minute you were gonna...
Emma grabs Beth's collar.
Emma: YOU BETTER HOPE YOU DON'T GET VOTED OFF BECAUSE IF YOU DO, I WILL DESTROY YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY BOYFRIEND!!!!!!!
She lets go of Beth's collar and the ponytailed girl runs away in fear. Emma then puts Chase in the bus of shame and enters with him and it drives off.
Chris: Wow. Even after they win, they still lose members. But it was all thanks to Team Kangaroo. Will they actually lose one of their members? Find out next time on... Total... Drama... Return of the All-Stars!
