Hey, I'm back with a new chapter!

Guest, I'm heavily leaning on Bell x Ryuu at the moment, but we'll see.

codywhite162, bestgile, thanks. I got the idea from Bell's original Argonaut skill, and I've always wanted to do a fic with someone inheriting all the powers of all Heroic Spirits. And yes, I took the confidant vow to make up the first two lines of the chant. Mainly cuz I wanted to show that Bell is truly inheriting these powers from the Throne of Heroes, and Persona's shown that the vow reflects the user's inner soul.

spartenpride11, oh he will. Bell will definitely inherit EMIYA's powers, along with many others.

Jose19, if its not for you, then don't read it. Plain and simple.

Guest, it sort of is Fate/Kaleid style, but unlike that one, Bell doesn't take on characteristics of the heroes. It's more of a mix of Install and Include, which I call Load. He can use all of the powers of the Heroic Spirit he Loads, but he won't experience any physical and aesthetic changes.

Lean, not adding Servants is the plan to be frank. Danmachi already has enough characters, and I for one don't want to add more.

StandardBuster, thanks, I do hope you continue to enjoy the story.

Graal, thanks, I hope I can live up to that hahaha.

Gigachad23, I'm not sure if there are any other fics that did an idea like this, but I have not seen any. So I was actually excited to do this. As for Kanshou and Bakuya's style, I would say Bell's dual wielding is rather different, as his own uses them in reverse grip. But we'll see.

As for Bell's boost with Heracles, as of now, Bell's body can't handle the full power of Heracles. As he is a Level 1, the boost sent him up to upper level 2 or lower level 3. But that's only for the first time, and it's only the Berserker variant. Moving onwards for now, it will only boost him up by 1 level, 1.5 at most. Using Nine Lives, on the other hand will boost him 2 levels minimum.

Commando2341, my bad. My understanding of the floors is a bit iffy to be honest. I'll try to avoid mistakes like that in the futrue.

MereC55, you will find out the answer to your question in this chapter.

So yeah, here's the new chapter. Enjoy.

XXX

Freya watched in a secluded room, using her divine powers to watch the scene unfold, and she was pleasantly surprised.

Bell Cranel, that sweet innocent boy, whose soul pure as one could ever be, possessed something no one could ever expect.

Ever since he had enter her line of sight, Freya had been fascinated by his soul.

It was pure, shining brightly with hope and possibility. Yet at the same time, it felt as if there was more to it.

It was as if there was something missing, an empty blank slot in his soul waiting to be filled.

Freya now understood why his soul was the way it was.

The boy was pure and innocent, but he wasn't naïve, or at least, not too naïve.

A god had tampered with his soul before, and Bell's soul was now linked to an existence that was outside of Gekai and Tenkai.

There was no other way for Bell to have managed to obtain such a power. Only a god would be able to forge a connection like that.

The goddess of love shivered with excitement as she studied Bell's soul, not able to take her eyes off of him even for a second.

Freya had yearned for Bell before, she adored his innocent and pure hearted attitude.

But this, this took it to a different level. His pure soul could be paired with another soul of a hero, and despite being paired with one as colorfully stained as Heracles', Bell's own radiance did not fall behind.

Not one bit.

All it did was further showcase just how beautiful Bell's soul truly was.

It brought Freya huge amounts of joy and arousal. But the goddess convinced herself, if this was what Bell could show her at his current state, what could he offer when he grew further?

The goddess of love shivered with excitement as she watched.

"Set: Nine Lives."

The giant sword-axe appeared in his hand with a blinding white glow.

It was almost twice his size, yet Bell held it with little effort.

Bell took a deep breath, and he moved.

To the general populace, Bell simply spun and swung the giant stone axe-sword once at the silverback.

But to those with trained eyes, the white haired rabbit had struck the beast a total of nine times.

Unknown to all watching, what Bell was doing wasn't simply hitting the beast with his axe.

No, it was so much more. With the power of Heracles imbued in his body, Bell was unleashing whatever his body could handle of the legendary hero's full might.

It was the symbol of Heracles, the result of him mastering countless forms of combat, all applied into a series of strikes aimed to bring down the enemy.

And at that moment, the nameless stone sword-axe became the strongest sword and axe in existence.

That same sword axe was now aimed at the silverback.

In an instant, it was over, and the silverback fell backwards towards the ground, exploding in a shower of black dust, leaving the magic stone on the ground.

Bell breathed heavily, and he released his grasp on the axe sword, letting it disappear in a swirl of whitish blue particles.

At the same time, the effects of his magic wore off, and Bell barely managed to stay on his feet, the strength of the legendary hero leaving his body.

But before he could fall to his back, a round of cheers and applause reached his ears, as everyone came out of hiding.

Only then did he remember the whole reason he had taken on the silverback in the first place.

Bell turned, his body aching with every twitch he made, but he managed to find the young girl he was with before.

Bell stumbled in front of her, "Are you okay?"

The girl beamed, "Yes! Mister, that was really cool!"

The white haired boy chuckled, "You think so?"

The younger girl just nodded, "Mhmm!"

Bell smiled, "Come on, we can get back to looking for your mo-ughh..."

He trailed off, and his vision blurred, before he fell to the ground unconscious, much to the surprise of everyone around him.

Later that day, every god and goddess gathered in the Tower of Babel.

Hermes glanced around the hall, and he nodded in satisfaction once every god and goddess in Orario sat down.

The god of messengers cleared his throat, "Alright, settle down. I'm sure everyone knows why we're here despite the next Denatus being over a month away."

Every god and goddess nodded, and Hermes spoke again, "I'm pretty sure we all felt it, Heracles' presence."

A random god yelled out, "Yeah! Why is Heracles here in the first place?! He's from your neck of the woods, isn't he, Hermes?!"

Another god spoke up, "Before we get to that, we also need to figure out why its that version of him."

Every god and goddess nodded, they knew the presence was foreign, at least to Gekai and Tenkai.

Takemikazuchi folded his arms, "Hmm... a Heracles from Pan-Human History..."

Hermes nodded, "Ouranus has also spoken. Heracles' presence came from the Throne of Heroes."

That caught everyone's attention, and a random goddess yelled out, "Wait! So we have a Heroic Spirit here?!"

The god of messengers nodded, "We might. Heracles' presence disappeared shortly after it apppeared, so I'm inclined to think he was summoned."

Dian Cecht folded his arms, "But by whom?"

Hermes looked at him, "That is the question I want everyone to be aware of today. My children and Ganesha's children had a look around. There weren't any signs of a summoning ritual for Servants, and even then the signature was too spread out and brief."

Another god spoke up, "Speaking of which, what does Ganesha have to say? We can't ignore the fact that his monsters got out of control."

Loki chuckled, "Right, my kids had to clean up your mess, you know?"

Ganesha laughed, "Worry not! I fully take responsibility for the incident today, for I AM GANESHA!"

Hermes nodded, "Ouranos has decreed that Ganesha pay a fine and be held responsible for all damages suffered from today's incident. So unless anyone has a complaint about that, that issue has been dealt with. Everyone with losses will be compensated, of course."

Mummers could be heard around the hall, but no one really voiced out their complaints.

Hermes nodded, "Then that's all, the main point was to see if anyone knows where Heracles was summoned from. I don't think I need to explain why."

Everyone nodded, and Freya stood up, "If that is all, I shall excuse myself. I am a busy woman after all."

Hermes nodded, "Of course."

The god of thieves eyed the goddess of love, before glancing at Hestia, his lips curving upwards.

Meanwhile, Bell groaned as he came to, "Ugh... What hit me?"

He opened his eyes groggily to see an unfamiliar ceiling.

The white haired boy grunted, "Where am I?"

"Ah, you're awake."

Bell turned his head to a side, and he spotted Ryuu entering the room, "You're... Ryuu-san?"

The elf nodded as she walked in, setting a set of fresh clothes on the table, "Yes, how do you feel?"

The white haired boy groaned, "Like shit..."

Ryuu nodded, "I suppose so. Fighting a silverback must have been tough for a Level 1."

Bell blinked, "Huh? How did you-"

The elf answered, "Syr told us. She said you protected her and a young girl from the silverback, but you collapsed afterwards."

The boy blinked, "O-oh."

He furrowed his brows, he was sure he didn't see Syr at all, so perhaps she was somewhere in the crowd.

Bell snapped his head at the elf, "What about that girl?!"

The elf's lips tugged upwards, "She's safe. Syr said the girl was reunited with her mother."

The boy sighed in relief, "That's good."

Ryuu backed away from the bed, "Once you're rested, do come down. Mama Mia's prepared some food for you."

Bell blinked, "W-wait, am I at the Hostess of Fertility?"

The elf raised an eyebrow, "Yes, Syr brought you back after you collapsed."

The boy nodded, "I see..."

Ryuu studied his face for a moment, before turning away, "If that is all, I shall be going back to work."

Bell blinked, "Ah right, sorry for taking your time."

The elf sighed, "Don't worry about it."

As Ryuu closed the door, Bell sat up, grimacing from how sore his body felt.

His mind then went to the fight with the silverback, "Heracles... I... I used his powers, didn't I?"

He wasn't an idiot. Whilst a blur, Bell remembered what he did.

Nine Lives.

Bell knew what it was. His grandfather had told him all about Heracles.

The hero's ultimate technique was one of them.

Bell's lips curved up with anticipation, "I can use Heracles' powers!"

But his excitement quickly came to a halt when he realized he didn't exactly know how to call on them.

The white haired rabbit scratched his head. That was an issue, he had no idea how to call upon that power again.

He shook his head. He could worry about that at a later date.

The young boy got off the bed and put on the set of clothes Ryuu had given him, a simple shirt and pants.

Bell took a breath, "Okay, time to head down."

The white haired boy walked down the stairs, and sure enough he was in the Hostess of Fertility.

He quickly spotted Mama Mia at the bar, and evidently, she noticed him too.

The dwarf's lips tugged upwards, "There you are. I was wondering how long you were gonna be up there."

Bell lowered his head, "Sorry for imposing, Mia-san."

Mia snorted, "Think nothing of it. It's the least we could do after you went through all that trouble just to bring Syr her purse."

The dwarf sighed, "Seriously, that's some bad luck. Your first Monsterphillia and you have to fight a rogue silverback of all things."

The boy chuckled, "It wasn't that bad... I think. And I didn't even get to give her the purse."

Mia snorted, "Having to fight a silverback not even a year after starting? I'm surprised you're even alive."

Bell froze, Heracles' powers coming to mind, and he laughed awkwardly, "Hahaha, I got lucky I guess."

The dwarf studied his face again, and she snorted, "Being modest now, are we?"

The white haired rabbit looked down, "I'm still not good enough... I fell unconscious just like that... I..."

Mia raised an eyebrow, "So you don't know why you got knocked out?"

Bell shook his head, "I think my body wasn't used to using that much power all at once..."

The dwarf chuckled, "Maybe, but what you suffered from was Mind Down."

The boy blinked, "Mind Down...?"

His eyes widened, "Wait, isn't that only possible if I could use magic? But I can't..."

Mia shrugged, "Hell if I know. But when Syr brought you in, that was what it seemed like. I know a Mind Down when I see one."

Bell looked down, "I see..."

But before he could ponder further on that, he found a plate of pasta in front of him, "Huh?"

He looked up to see Mia's grin, and the dwarf turned away, "Here, eat up. It's on the house, think of it as thanks for taking down that silverback when Syr was there."

With that said, Mia walked off, but she spared him a glance before she headed back into the kitchen, "Oh, and try not to sit there for too long. We're not open yet, but we do need to prepare for the night later."

As the owner of the bar walked into the kitchen, Bell spotted the rest of the waitresses walk out.

The white haired boy blinked when they all stopped in front of him at the bar.

Anya grinned, "Not bad-nya, color us impressed."

Lunoire and Chloe nodded, the latter leering at Bell, much to his discomfort.

Bell blinked, "Sorry?"

Ryuu sighed as she walked past them carrying a stack of clean plates, "Ignore them, Cranel-san."

Chloe looked at the elf in mock shock, "What? Are you not curious how a Level 1 defeated a silverback of all things?"

The elf paused, before she shook her head, "Regardless, it is not our place to pry."

Syr popped out of the back, "Yep, if Bell-san feels comfortable to tell us, he will tell us, yes?"

Bell nodded, "I guess... I'm still not exactly sure how I did it, I might have to get my goddess to update my status sheet to find out."

Anya giggled, "No need to take it so seriously-nya. We were just teasing-nya, status sheets are private after all."

Syr smiled, "But it was cool though, seeing you swing that giant stone sword at that silverback. What is it anyway? A Hephaestus weapon?"

The white haired boy chuckled, "No, it was just a nameless axe sword. What I did..."

He trailed off, unsure if he should really say it. But Lunoire spoke up, "If you don't feel like telling us, that's totally fine, you know?"

Bell nodded, "Sorry, I want to tell you, and I have an idea, but I'm not really sure if it is what I think it is."

Chloe smiled, "Well in that case, you can check with your goddess, and if you think you're fine with telling us, you can do that later."

The white haired rabbit smiled, "Sure, I'll make sure to do that."

"IF YOU'RE DONE TALKING, GET YOUR ASSES BACK HERE! THE FOOD AND DISHES ARE NOT GONNA PREPARE THEMSELVES!"

Mia's voice reached their ears, and the four waitresses jumped. Anya looked at Bell apologetically, "Sorry white hair, but Mama Mia's angry-nya, we gotta go!"

Chloe and Lunoire nodded in fear as they scrambled to the back, and Syr smiled at him, "Talk later, okay?"

Bell simply chuckled as he took a bite from his plate of pasta, watching them work as he finished his food.

Later, as Bell left the pub, Mia watched the young boy exit the door. She then walked up the stairs into Syr's room, where the grey haired girl sat looking out of the window at the boy.

The dwarf stared at the girl, "So, care to tell me what's going on with that kid?"

Syr smiled, "Do I have to?"

Mia sighed, "Is it something we should be worried about?"

The girl shook her head, "No, in fact, I think it's something you can look forward to seeing."

The dwarf nodded, "I see..."

Mia snorted, "Speaking of which, what do you really plan to do with him?"

Syr looked at her in the eye, "Now what are you talking about?"

The dwarf scoffed, "Don't try to dodge the question. Bell's a good boy, but surely there's something else that caught your attention."

The girl giggled, "It was just love at first sight, nothing more, nothing less."

Mia frowned, "As Syr, or as Freya?"

Syr walked out of the room, "Both, is that not allowed?"

With that said, the goddess in disguise left the room and went back to work, leaving the former captain of the Freya Familia in the room.

Mia sighed, "Whatever she's up to, boy, I wish you the best of luck."

Later that night, Bell laid on the bed of the church as Hestia updated his status.

As soon as she did, the goddess nearly fainted.

Hestia sat on his back, massaging her temples to fight off the growing headache, "Bell-kun, I don't know if I should be happy, or if I should be angry."

Bell blinked, "Huh? Is there a problem?"

The goddess of the hearth grabbed a sheet of paper and imprinted the status sheet on it, "Have a look."

Bell took a look at his sheet, and he blinked.

Bell blinked again after reading the sheet, "Am I blind, or am I reading this correctly?"

Hestia sighed, "Yes, you're looking at it correctly."

The boy looked at her, "So that's how I used Heracles' powers... I inherited them?"

The goddess nodded, "If what the sheet says is accurate, yes. It also seems like you might be able to do the same for other heroes."

A smile formed on Bell's face, one that quickly turned into a full blown grin, "Holy shit! That... THAT'S AWESOME!"

The white haired boy did a weird dance around the room, much to Hestia's amusement, but the goddess didn't share the same excitement he did.

Hestia took a deep breath, "Bell-kun, I hate to rain down on your parade, but we can't let anyone know this."

Bell blinked, "Huh? Why?"

The goddess looked at him seriously, "When you used Heracles' powers, you didn't just use a hero's powers. You used a halfblood's powers. Everyone in Orario felt the divine power of a demigod."

The boy blinked again, "Oh."

The twin tailed goddess sat down on the couch, "The gods had a discussion earlier just now. Everyone will be on the look out for Heracles' presence."

Bell blinked, "Huh? Why?"

Hestia furrowed her brows, "How do I explain this..."

She scratched her head, before she nodded, "It's a long and complicated story, but basically a god is forbidden to use their divine powers."

Bell blinked, "But I used his powers... Is it because he's a demigod?"

The goddess nodded, "In a way. But it doesn't change the fact that you did use divine powers."

Bell panicked, "Wait, does that mean I'm in trouble?"

The twin tailed goddess smiled at his reaction, "No, not yet. No one knows that its you, and I want to keep it that way for now."

The boy furrowed his brows, "So that means I can't use it?"

Hestia shook her head, "You may use it in the dungeon, but you cannot use it in the city. It'll be hard to hide your magic, but you absolutely cannot let anyone know about your skill."

Bell fell silent, "I see..."

The goddess' expression softened, "Look, it's not like you can't use it. I'm just telling you to be careful. What you have is very powerful, extremely powerful, and many would kill to get even either ability, or they'd try to kill you so you can't use it."

Hestia patted him on the head, "But once you get strong enough, you won't need to worry."

The boy nodded, "I understand."

The goddess smiled, "Good."

Her smile widened in a teasing manner, "But speaking of which, aren't a little old to want to be to a hero of all things?"

Bell's face flushed, "Leave me alone! I can't help it!"

Hestia giggled, "It's okay, heroes are grown men too, after all."

The boy just looked away in embarrassment.

The goddess chuckled, before she stood up, "And since we're here, I also have something else for you."

Bell blinked, "Huh?"

Hestia walked over to one of her bags on the ground, and she pulled out something wrapped in a piece of cloth.

The goddess handed the object to the boy, "Here."

Bell blinked, "What's this?"

Hestia smiled, "Open it."

The boy furrowed his brows in confusion, but did as he was told.

As he unwrapped the object, Bell came face to face with a knife that had a pure black blade and a pure black handle.

Bell's eyes widened, easily recognizing how well crafted the weapon was, "Kami-sama, what...?"

Hestia smiled, "Do you like it?"

The boy looked at the knife, "I do, but... where did you get this from?"

The goddess grinned, "Hehe, that's a secret."

Hestia cleared her throat, the blade glowing with a faint blue hue when she did, "Anyway, that knife is special. It will grow along with you, and it will only work on someone who has my blessing. Otherwise it's just a piece of junk that can't even cut paper."

Bell studied the knife, and his eyes widened when he spotted the tell tale mark of a Hephaestus weapon, "Wait, this is a Hephaestus' blade!"

He snapped his head at her, "Where did you get the money?"

The goddess giggled sheepishly, "I didn't. I got Hephaestus to forge it with a few conditions, one of them being a loan."

Bell's eyes shone with worry, "How much do you owe?"

Hestia huffed, "That's none of your business. It's between us goddesses."

The boy frowned, "But-"

The goddess cut him off as she shook her head violently, "No buts! It's my gift to you for being my first Child! So use it and get strong, make yourself famous! Are we clear?!"

Bell blinked when her tone turned serious, "Y-yes ma'am!"

The goddess nodded, before she remembered something Hephaestus' words some time again, "Speaking of which, Bell, lie down again, I need to do something."

The boy blinked, "Huh? Okay, I guess."

He did as he was told, and Hestia got on his back once more. Bell blinked as he felt her finger on his back, "What are you doing?"

Hestia bit her thumb, coating it with blood, "I'm locking your status. People can see your status sheet, if they can read it of course, but they won't be able to read your magic and skills."

Bell blinked again as he felt his back grow warm once more, "Oh..."

Hestia smiled, getting up as she wiped her thumb clean of blood, "Good. Now get some rest, you've had a long day. Once you're rested, you can head back into the dungeon if you want."

The boy beamed, "Got it!"

The next day, Bell went down to the third floor.

The young boy looked around, finding the area to be clear of adventurers, and he took a deep breath, "Okay, this should be fine."

As if on cue, goblins and dungeon lizards spawned from the dungeon, and Bell grinned, "Just in time too."

He let out a breath, "Alright, if I remember correctly..."

Bell widened his footing, "Load: Heracles!"

In an instant, the white rabbit felt the strain on his mind, but he also felt a massive surge of power flow into his body.

It didn't feel as much as when he used it the first time, but it was still a lot of energy.

Bell gripped the knife he'd obtained from Hestia, and the blade glowed with power.

The boy charged, and to his surprise, the monsters all felt incredibly slow to him.

Even before the first goblin could swing at him, Bell's knife was already in motion, slicing it in half.

A dungeon lizard tried to pounce him from behind, but the white rabbit simply spun, kicking it in the face.

But to his surprise, the kick didn't just send the monster flying. It destroyed it the moment his feet touched the lizard's face, leaving a cloud of black dust and the magic crystal.

The young man blinked in surprise, for in the blink of an eye, only two monsters were left, two dungeon lizards.

Bell stared at the two monsters, growling at him as they circled him warily.

The white haired boy slowly sheathed his blade, and he spoke, "Set: Nine Lives."

The impulse to summon Heracles' nameless sword-axe surfaced, but Bell pressed it down, instead opting to channel it into his knife.

The powers of Heracles flowed into the Hestia Knife, and at that moment, the knife became the strongest knife in existence.

Bell moved, and in a single swing, both monsters exploded in a cloud of black dust, the magic crystals dropping to the ground.

The boy relaxed as he felt the presence of Heracles leave his body. He let out a sigh, "That's the end of it I guess."

Bell turned to continue, only to stumble, "Huh?"

Mia's words rang in his ears for some reason, and so did Eina's words from one of her lectures.

The boy cursed as his eyelids started to droop, "I-is this... Mind Down?"

Bell gritted his teeth, "No, if I suffer from Mind Down just from using Heracles'... I can't..."

The boy turned again for the exit, and he stumbled back up.

Miraculously, no monsters spawned before him, and he managed to make his way out of the dungeon before he collapsed in front of entrance to the dungeon.

Bell groaned as he opened his eyes, coming face to face with yet another unfamiliar ceiling, "Ughh... I did it again."

"Judging from those words, this is not the first time you've experienced Mind Down, is that right?"

The boy turned to see a familiar face, one he'd seen talking to Hestia multiple times, "Miach-sama?"

The god smiled, "Good to see you up, recovering from a Mind Down in an hour is impressive."

Bell groaned as he sat up, "How did I get here?"

Miach brought a cup to him, "I was making my way back when I saw you on the ground outside the dungeon. I suppose you made it out before collapsing?"

The boy took the cup, "Thanks, and I don't really know..."

He glanced at the contents of the cup, "Sorry, what's this?"

Miach turned and sat down at a desk near the bed, "It's a concoction I came up with to treat Mind Down. It's like a Mind Potion, but effects should be better."

Bell blinked, "Oh..."

He shrugged, "Bottoms up then."

He downed the potion in one go, and he immediately felt the effects almost instantaneously, "Oh, wow! I feel great!"

Miach chuckled, "Good to hear."

Bell got off the bed, "How much was that potion anyway?"

The god shook his head gently, "Don't worry about it."

The young boy furrowed his brows, "I can't do that, you've already given me so much."

Miach sighed in exasperation, "What did Hestia do to get a Child like you? If you really insist, the cost for that one is 300 valis."

Bell nodded and pulled out his pouch, grabbing the money and handing it to Miach, "Thanks for your help though."

The god chuckled, "Don't worry about it."

The boy nodded and turned, "Is it okay if I head off?"

Miach waved him off, "Of course, give Hestia my regards."

Bell grinned, "Thanks, I'll see you around."

The boy jumped off the bed and ran towards the door, but before he could, the god called after him again, "Bell."

Bell turned, "Yes?"

Miach stood up, reaching into his inner pocket and pulled out two vials, "Here, in case you find yourself using too much magic again, this will help."

The boy's eyes widened, "Eh? N-no, I shouldn't."

The god chuckled, "Relax, this is another variation of the one I gave you. In return, I'd like you to tell me how well they work, how about that?"

Bell blinked, "Wait, really?"

Miach nodded, "It'll be helpful if you could. Not many adventurers like to test these kind of things, but if you could, this can help me determine which ingredient would be the best in terms of efficacy and cost."

The god pushed the vials towards the boy, "How about it?"

Bell reluctantly grabbed the vials, "If you insist, I suppose I could."

Miach smiled, "Good, now get going. I don't want Hestia to cry again when you don't go home again."

The boy grimaced, "Right..."

Bell shook his head, "Thanks for your help though, Miach-sama!"

With that said, he ran off, leaving the god's abode. The god chuckled, "Seriously..."

Later that night, Bell dreamed.

He saw a man saving towns and cities with nothing but a club and his bare hands.

He saw a man blessed with strength and power, inherited from his father.

He saw a man revel in fame and authority as his accomplishments were widely known.

He saw a hero, envied by many, and one of them forced upon trials upon trials.

He saw a hero fall in love and build a family.

He saw the hero fall into despair and madness as his family was slaughtered whilst he saved many others.

Then, finally, he saw the hero killed by one of his wives.

Bell's eyes snapped open, and he realized he was breathing heavily.

The boy turned, and as expected, Hestia was curled up beside him, muttering random words in her sleep.

Bell sat up, taking a deep breath as he tried to calm down, 'That dream...'

He knew what it was, he had heard of them so many times from his grandfather. But never before had he felt so intensely about those stories.

Bell felt everything, from Heracles' first battle to the last. He felt how the hero had felt when he first held a weapon, and he felt how the man had felt when he was given trials upon trials.

But what bothered Bell, was the amount of despair the hero had felt when his family was killed.

The boy knew of the hero's tale, including the tragic ending of Heracles. But the emotions he'd felt in that dream was on another level.

Bell pushed the sheets off of him, and he walked out of the church, staring up into the night skies.

The boy took a deep breath, his mind replaying all of the scenes he had seen of Heracles' past.

But then, so did the faces of the people Heracles had saved. The hero had saved thousands upon thousands of people, just like how Bell had saved the girl and the people of Orario earlier.

It wasn't wrong to save people.

Bell felt his back grow warm, and he made a decision.

The boy's lips curved upwards, and he headed back into the church.

"DID YOU JUST SAY THE SEVENTH FLOOR?!"

The next day, Bell was in the guild again, and he had told Eina of his plans to go deeper.

Which led to their current situation in one of the private meeting rooms.

Bell smiled awkwardly at the half-elf's face, "Y-yes?"

Eina leaned into her seat, "Bell-kun, do you know, just how different the seventh floor is compared to the fifth?! And you just got killed on the fifth floor the other day! What do you think you can do on the sixth! MUCH LESS THE SEVENTH?!"

The boy's smile strained at every word the half-elf spoke, "I actually got a whole lot stronger from before, really."

The half-elf furrowed her eyes as she folded her arms, "Really now?"

Bell nodded, "My status sheet is mostly E, and I gained a new ma..."

He trailed off, but Eina caught it, her eyes widening, "Your status sheet is mostly E and you can use magic now?!"

The white haired boy nodded meekly, "Y-yes, I can show you if you want."

Eina sighed, "Alright, let me see."

Bell turned and lifted his shirt to show his back to her, and Eina knelt down to take a look.

The half-elf's face twitched in disbelief, "You've gotta be kidding me..."

Eina sighed as she stood up, "I've seen enough, and you do have your magic and skill slots filled, but I can't read those."

The boy turned to her with a smile, "Does that mean I can head down to the seventh floor?"

The half-elf nodded, "With what you have, you should be fine... But that brings us to your next problem..."

Bell blinked when Eina looked over him, or rather, his current state of attire, "Huh?"

Eina let out a breath, "Okay, might as well..."

She turned to him, "Would you happen to be free tomorrow?"

The boy blinked, "Yeah, I guess... Why?"

Eina's lips curved upwards, "Meet me at the city square tomorrow at 9am, you'll see."

With that said, the half-elf left the room, leaving a confused white rabbit.

Done. So that's the chapter.

I did notice in the previous A/N that I mentioned that Bell's skill is called Desire for the Throne, but that is not correct.

The magic to contract a spirit is called Heir to the Throne, which involves the chant.

The skill, Desire for the Throne, is a substitute for Liaris Freese, which gives him increased growth to become a worthy heir to the Throne of Heroes.

Just wanted to point that out.

So yeah, read and review please. Until next time.
