Moment

There are moments in life that seem to stretch on forever. Moments when you have to make a decision even though you're absolutely terrified and can't afford to hesitate, even though you can't seem to move.

Taylor needs to do something. Her friend's being kidnapped.

Why aren't the Dragons leaving?

Then she sees the doors to the other van are open, and there is a lot of stuff inside. It's closer to her than the van April is inside.

The Dragons will have got rid of April's bag and her phone, meaning the turtles can't track it.

But they can track Taylor's.

She glances from side to side. The Dragons have gone back inside the building. It's now or never.

Taylor creeps as fast as she can towards the van and jumps inside. There are two extra seats in the back; she tucks herself away between the seats and the front of the van, takes out her phone and silences it.

She's just done something incredibly brave, or she's just made the last mistake of her life.
