In Mikey's Room, the Orange-clad Turtle and his girlfriend were watching Crognard and in this episode, Crognard and his team were running through a tunnel of death traps as the Barbarian fell into a pit of spikes and bent them with his chest alone.
Despite this, the two still looked very bored, "I can't believe I'm watching Crognard bend spikes with his chest. And I'm still so bored." Mikey said, falling out of his bed.
"You said it, Mikey. There's nothing else going on today." Ames said boredly while leaning on the bed. "Not even your show can enlighten us."
"This is a serious medical condition, Ames, we need help!" Mikey called as he pulled Ames out of the room, which caused her to yelp.
In the training grounds, Olly, Vee, Naomi, and Leo are doing some stances. "Hang out? We loved to, but we're practicing katas," Olly told Mikey and Ames as the four took stances, "You can join us if you want,"
Ames and Mikey looked at them boredly. "Uh, no thanks," Ames said as she and Mikey walked off while Mikey groaned.
In Raph's room, Raph and Jenny were playing with some action figures in his room until Ames and Mikey came by the door and saw them. "Mikey?! Ames?! Get out!" Raph shouted, throwing an action figure at them but Ames caught.
"Ease up, Raph. Everyone plays with action figures." Ames said with a smile.
"I'd tried to tell him," Jenny retorted before waving them off, "Anyway, we can't hang out right now,"
"Whatever," Mikey said as he and Ames walked off while Raph gave an embarrassing blush.
"Seriously, Mikey has weirder action figures, Raph." Jenny pointed out with a giggle. "You think it's not weird from the things we've seen."
"Still doesn't make this any less embarrassing!" Raph called as Jenny giggled at her boyfriend's reaction.
Miwa was putting on a jacket over a white shirt and jeans, "Sorry guys, can't hang out today," She told Ames and Mikey, "Catilyn and the O'Neils are taking me to the movies," She explained.
"Seriously?" Mikey asked in surprise. "Huh, that's the first girl time for you, babes." He commented.
"Yeah, when I told April that I've never seen a movie before, she looked like she was gonna have a heart attack," Miwa said with a giggle. "Oh, it was priceless, anyway she insisted I check out this new movie at the Argosy with her and the girls. Well, see you two later." She said as she walked off and grabbed her bracelet.
"Well, Miwa is off the table," Ames commented.
Then in the lab, they went to check if Donnie and Tal were available, but they weren't. "We're too busy to hang out, you two," Tal said to Ames and Mikey, who were sitting on some chairs with a bored look.
"We're trying to see if we can engineer a cure for Newtralizer's Brain Virus," Donnie explained while typing on his computer. "You see, if we reverse engineer the main chemical sequence, I think we can ignite the kind of reaction needed to rewrite the-" He rambled on as Ames and Mikey groaned as they exited the lab.
"Donnie, they're already gone," Tal said, which made Donnie stop talking as he noticed.
"Seriously? I hadn't even gotten to the best part yet," Donnie asked with a brow.
Casey, Keno, and Zach were at the Space Heroes Pinball machine as Zach managed to get the high score again, "High Score, for the 36th time," Zach said boredly.
"Seriously, this game may be cool, but it gets old real fast," Keno said with a bored tone.
"Yeah. Not as challenging as a baby turtle." Casey said before he heard groaning sounds as Ames and Mikey came in. "Hey, Ames, Mikey, wanna hang out?" He asked them.
"We can skate around New York for some fun," Keno suggested, which made Mikey and Ames smile with their eyes sparkling with a gasp.
"I'll take that as a yes," Zach said with a chuckle.
The four boys and Ames cheered in joy as they were moving through the rooftops, Mikey was on a skateboard, as well as Ames, Keno, and Zach. "Yeah, boy!" Mikey said in joy they slid under the water tower.
"What a show-off, Mikey!" Keno called as they slid on the roof of a shed and did some stunts around the rooftops.
"Okay, this is fun!" Ames called with a smile before they regrouped together while taking a breather.
"Seriously, we should do this more often," Zach said with a smile.
"Cowabunga!" A voice called as someone skated past the five as they saw it was a yellow, brown-spotted lizard-like mutant wearing a shirt, jeans, backward-facing cap, and roller-blade gear.
"Yee-haw!/Wahoo!" Two other voices shouted as zipping by the five were two other mutants. One was a black and grey raccoon wearing a black tank top, a red headband, green cargo pants, and a basketball necklace. And the other was a tannish brown lioness, with some yellow hair growing from the top of her head, falling down the right side of her head tipped with pink, wearing a hot pink shirt, a leather jacket with spiked shoulders, shin-high-top sneakers, ripped jeans, fingerless gloves and an electric guitar strapped onto her back.
The three mutants did skate tricks together, as the Gecko and Raccoon were on skateboards while the Lioness had rollerblades. "Whoa! New mutants?" Casey asked in shock.
"Where do they keep coming from?" Keno questioned in wonder.
"They're awesome! The Lizard guy's name should totally be… Uh…" Mikey started while trying to think of a name for them. "Rad Lizard! No, wait, Skater-Mander! Nah that's lame,"
"How about, Mondo Gecko?" Ames suggested as the three skating mutants kept skating around.
"Yeah! That's the one!" Mikey said before Mondo Gecko stopped in front of him.
"Dude, that name sucks! And I'll make you pay for it! Rah!" Mondo Gecko screamed as he tried attacking them while the others raised their things in defense. "Do you know what happened to the last dude who called me names?!"
"Who would we know? We just met you," Mikey pointed out with a brow before the raccoon and lioness mutants skated between Mondo Gecko.
"Jason, come on! Again?" The Raccoon said tiredly as Mondo laughed.
"Sorry bra, couldn't resist," Mondo said with a smile, "The looks on their faces."
The lioness shook her head and turned to the five, "Sorry about Jason, he loves pulling people's legs," She apologized.
"We can tell." Zach said as Jason held up his skateboard.
"So, you're mutants too?" Mondo asked Ames and Mikey. "In case you know, I'm Jason, the most awesome pro skater in the world!" He called as he balanced on his board with his head.
"You can call me Bandit Raccoon, the best striped-tail basketball player on earth!" Bandit said, pulling out a Basketball and dribbling it.
"And I'm Sally Pride, half Lion and all superstar queen of Rock!" Sally introduced as she pulled around her guitar and gave a loud crunchy rift.
"Wicked!" Casey called with a smile.
"Jason? That's boring dude. Mondo Gecko, not boring." Mikey said with a smile. "But those other two names are awesome!"
"I don't even know what a gecko is," Casey said with a confused look at Mondo Gecko.
"Casey, didn't you learn anything in nature class?" Keno questioned with a brow, "Geckos are a species of lizard famous for sticking to any surface, even glass,"
"And you're looking at one. Check it!" Mondo Gecko said as he got closer to them and he licked his eyeballs. "Well, we can't blink, so we have to lick our eyeballs to keep them moist." He said as he kept licking.
"Trust us, it's gross, but it's for a reason," Bandit said with a shrug.
Mikey gasped in amazement, "I've always wanted to lick my own eyeballs." He said as he tried to use his tongue to lick his eyeballs, but only managed to get over his nose.
"So you were a pro skater?" Zach asked Mondo in wonder.
"Kinda, I'm gnarly enough to go pro. Look at what being a Gecko gets me!" Jason said as he proceeded to pull off some sick skating moves and hung off the ledge of a higher building.
"Yeah, sometimes Jason can be a bit of a showboat, but he got serious skills." Bandit said with a small smile, "So do I, check this out!" Bandit then skated over two roofs like a half before jumping, crawling along some pipes and landing perfectly on his board, "One of the benefits of being a raccoon,"
"You think that's cool, check out what a lion can get you!" Sally called as she skated around and did a few flips and jumped into higher places while skating on a railing and then landed on the ground. "Great agility reflexes!"
"Wow, that was cool!" Zach called.
"So, how did you all become mutants?" Ames asked in wonder.
"It all started last year, I was skating in my half pipe, which I totally built myself. Awesome right? It was just me and my pet Gecko Lars, when some crazy ooze fell out of the sky, turning me into the last thing I touched! My Gecko, I totally became a Gecko person! Excellent!" Mondo cheered as Mikey's eyes widened, knowing that Mondo was talking about the mutagen spill. "But then, I ran away from my home 'cause I thought my parents would freak over having a lizard for a kid, and I've been on the streets since then." He finished, sounding a little ashamed.
"For me, I was just your average kid, shooting hoops after dealing with a Raccoon sniffing around my trash can, but then I got lobbed on the head by that same ooze, and next thing I knew I was a Raccoon man," Bandit explained while twiddling his thumbs, "I was afraid if my parents saw me, they'd sic the exterminator on me, so took to the streets," He finished.
"And then there's me, I was just a Street girl with my BF Angel Carter, rocking out at our den after I got back from Central Park, taking care of the newborn lion cubs, and next thing I knew, green ooze from the sky, got spray and came out as the Queen of the Beasts!" Sally declared, "Luckily, Angel thought I was even more awesome and we stuck together, even met up with Bandit and Jason during that whole Kraang Crazyiness,"
"Since then, we've been together on the streets as the best skaters." Bandit added before he stood up with a smile and rubbed his chin, "Haven't seen Angel since this morning though, wonder where she went?" He asked himself.
"Not sure. But I'm sure she'll turn up." Sally assured me with a smile. "She is probably doing some business or something."
"And on the plus side, we've made tons of other friends, like you guys!" Mondo called while grabbing Casey and Mikey. " I also shred in my metal band. Savage Bliss!" He shouted as he looked like he was playing a metal guitar, and it just was a lot of fun before skating off.
"Jason picked too much guitar playing from me," Sally said with a chuckle.
"Let's get going. The sun is still shining." Bandit said as Sally nodded as the two skated off after Mondo while the others watched.
"Well, how about we join them?" Zach suggested.
"I second that," Mikey said as he was about to follow, but Casey stopped him.
"Dudes, there's something about those guys I don't trust. For real, dawg." Casey said suspicious of him.
"Dude, he could lick his own eyeballs," Mikey said with a smile and had one of his eyes open. "Besides, I feel responsible…it's kinda… sorta our fault with the mutagen spill and all. Wait up, guys! Booyakasha!" He shouted skating after him.
"Wait up, Mikey!" Ames called as the three human boys shrugged and went after them.
Back in Turtle Island, the group are watching TV while April is trying to call Casey. "Come on Casey get up, we've got homework to do," April said annoyed trying to get a response from her T phone.
"Casey's not gonna stop skating just for homework, April." Jenny pointed out as she turned off the TV.
"Tell him it's homework and date with you," Miwa suggested to the younger O'Neil with a giggle.
"Har-har, very funny, Miwa," April said with a blush and deadpan while Robyn and Catilyn snickered.
"They've been gone a while," Leo stated.
"Mikey + Ames + Casey + Keno + Zach + Too much time on their hands = trouble," Olly added in concern.
"Oh, come on. What kind of trouble can they really get into?" Donnie waved off with a smile.
On the streets of New York at night, a homeless person was rolling his cart as the skaters skated over him. "Cowabunga!/Booyakasha!/Goongala!/" Mikey, Mondo, and Casey called as they skated past him while Zack, Keno, Sally, and Bandit followed behind them as they skated over a dog.
"Low theme bro, Booyakasha! Sounds way cooler than 'Cowabunga'." Mikey said to Mondo.
"But Goongala! Is the best!" Casey called as he threw one of his pucks, which hit an antenna.
"Casey, don't get me started on that," Keno said as they skated on the railings.
"And seriously, Booyakasha isn't even a real word," Sally said as she did a grind.
"Maybe not, But it's fun to yell!" Mikey called with a smile. "But Cowabunga. Way too old school, bro."
"Old school is the only school!" Mondo shouted, turning another corner which made Casey almost fall off the ledge.
Keno then caught Casey. "I gotcha, bro!" He called as he pulled Casey up and Mondo gave a laugh.
"Hey, Mondo, Casey could've been hurt." Ames pointed out.
"Oh, sorry," Mondo said right before a couple of purple dragons came out from the roof and stole some things as they gave a small laugh.
"Uh, hello. What are you guys doing?" Mikey questioned them, which made them stop and give nervous looks.
"Um.. we're helping a friend move his valuables to our hideout?" A thug lied while Mikey hummed for a bit.
"That's cool. Good luck with that." Mikey said with a smile as the purple dragons walked off slowly.
"Mikey, they're lying," Zach said, which made Mikey look on with white disks of shock.
Ames then stepped forward with a look. "You put that stuff back where it came from!" She called while readying her whip.
"Say who?" Hun spoke up as he appeared behind the three humans and mutants. "Two turtle freaks?" He questioned.
Casey, Keno, and Zach deadpanned, "Aw, not you again," Zach complained as Hun cracked his neck.
"Hun," Casey and Keno said tiredly.
"Up for a rematch, Vigilante boys?" Hun questioned as the three boys ready themselves while Hun took off his shades. "This time, I'm ready for your tricks!" He called as he got into ready stances.
Casey tried whacking Hun with his stick but he was bending down and countering his attacks before punching Casey to where Mondo, Bandit, and Sally were trying to hide. Keno and Zach tried to fight Hun, but they were punched back as well while Hun was making ninja noises.
Ames and Mikey are still fighting the Purple Dragons with ease as Hun smacks the three boys to a water tower before he notices Mondo, Bandit, and Sally. "More pathetic freaks?" Hun questioned while cracking his knuckles.
"Do you know what happened to the last person who called us names?!" Mondo yelled as he threw his board at Hun, who simply moved aside as Mondo gave a yell with his fist raised, but Hun simply held him back with one leg. "Roping doping, that's right, punk! I got you!" He called while making noises and charged at Hun, but he was beaten up and kicked back multiple times by Hun.
"Jason!" Bandit called as he charged at Hun and scurried around him before Hun threw the Raccoon off and kicked Bandit into a wall with a karate yell.
"Bandit!" Sally called as she growled and charged at Hun with a snarl, slashing her claws at him as Hun quickly dodged each one, but then Hun gave multiple kicks to Sally before she was kicked straight to a water tower repeatedly.
"Hey! Cut that out!" Sally called before Hun then punched her as the lioness was knocked over the building.
"Sally!" Ames called as she then used her whip to catch Sally before she fell and did a kick, which Hun dodged but she kicked the three purple dragons down and set Sally down.
Hun glared at them as the three human boys stood up. "What up, huh?" Casey taunted as the five heroes glared at Hun.
Hun fought the five easily, making karate hoots and hollers and knocking them all down. "Ugh, this guy is tough." Bandit said while rubbing his head while Hun gestured a 'come at me' motion.
"I'll help you. I just… need a minute… to catch… my breath." Mondo said with a pant as Casey stood up and tried to hit Hun, but as Hun rushed back, he tripped over Mondo's skateboard, fell from the building, and landed in a dumpster.
"Hah! Sucker!" Casey mocked, looking down from the roof; Hun got out of the dumpster and twisted his arm back into the place before shattering some of the metal handles in rage.
A bit later, Ames and Mikey tied up the purple dragons' thugs with some rope as Mondo approached them. "And take that! And that! And.." Mondo said, trying to attack them before Casey picked him up.
"Whoa, whoa, fights over bro. Relax, we won." Casey assured, putting him down.
"You guys saved our lives, on the streets, it's everyone for themselves out there," Mondo said, looking down sadly.
"On the streets, you can only rely on yourself," Sally added.
"Friends don't let friends get kicked off buildings dude," Mikey assured fist bumping Mondo.
"In our Tribe, we look for each other, no man or mutant left behind," Ames added, wrapping her arms around Sally and Bandit. "And it's what friends are for." He said.
"Alright, let's leave our calling card and we're out of here," Keno said as he drew on the thug's face for the cops to find them as Mondo picked their pockets for money.
"Whoa! 3,000 smackaroos!" Mondo called with a smile. "This will really help us out." He said.
"Mondo, are you stealing?" Ames questioned in shock.
"Only from the bad guys' personal stash," Mondo said.
"Put it back, Mondo," Casey demanded, slamming his stick down.
"Make me Casey." Mondo countered, which angered him.
"I'd love to Gecko!" Casey said, gripping his stick until the others stopped them.
"Cool it, guys. Can't we all just skate along?" Mikey asked, trying to stop this.
"Mikey, you know that we don't steal, even from other thieves," Keno told the orange-clad turtle, "What we need to do is give this back to where it belongs,"
"In case you haven't figured it out, this is our only way to get money," Bandit told the Pizza-delivery boy.
"But it's still stealing." Zach pointed out.
"Boys, nobody wants to employ a mutant gecko, raccoon, or lioness." Sally pointed out while gesturing to their appearances. "How'd you think we survived out here for so long?"
"So sorry, bra. But these stay." Mondo said, holding up the money.
"And I don't hang with criminals, dudes. I'm out like your mom in a beauty patch, peace!" Casey said as he began leaving.
"Skateboarding is not a crime!" Mondo shouted, annoyed with him. "Come on guys, let's hang out at our place." He suddenly said as he started walking off.
"Aw man.." Mikey said, ashamed of what had happened.
"We'll get him," Keno said as he and Zach rushed after Casey. "Casey, get back here!" He called.
"I'm sure they'll talk to him, Mikey," Ames assured while placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Stupid talking mutants. Mikey and Ames are falling for shtick! But not Casey Jones." Casey said, annoyed, landing down on the streets as Zach and Keno came down to them.
"Casey, I get that they're stealing from the Purple Dragons, but you do realize that the downside of being a mutant is that they can't even get proper homes or get money for provisions?" Keno questioned with a brow.
"Yeah, because it was shown many times that once you're mutated, your whole life is turned," Zach states. "And it's kinda hard to find a job without being discovered and dissected at first sight."
"I get that, but they shouldn't steal!" Casey exclaimed in annoyance. "Seriously, I wouldn't hang out with criminals."
"Casey, you just met them, and now you're branding them as criminals?" Keno questioned with his arms crossed. "Dude, that's proving our point."
"What point?" Casey questioned.
"That human will always see mutants as one thing: Monsters," Zach stated.
"Because they always judge by their appearances, while most of the time, they haven't done a thing, yet they get chased down or branded while hiding from prying eyes, they can't even go out to see their families without a gun to their heads." Keno listed with a brow, "I mean, the turtles take stops from the surface, so does that make them criminals?"
"That's different! They found them in abandoned or rundown buildings and from the Kraang!" Casey called.
"Try and put yourself in Mondo's shoes; if you were a mutant, practically everyone was afraid, even your own family; how would be your only way to get food, money, or anything else to survive?" Keno asked his best friend.
Casey was about to retort, but he stopped himself as he realized their question as he slouched in defeat. "Oh, man. I'd do whatever it took." He said in defeat.
"Exactly," Zach said with a nod. "I mean, sure, it is wrong to steal, but they're just trying to survive when they have no one to turn to."
"And it's hard to even get around without food and stuff. I mean, not everyone can be part of a Ninja clan." Keno said while reminding him of the Hamato and the Foot.
"Good point," Casey said while rubbing his head. "Maybe I should cut them some slack."
"And this time, try and get to know them before jumping the gun," Keno said with a smile before they heard something behind them, which caused them to turn in ready position.
"Uh, who's there?" Zach questioned before a shadow went up behind them, but by the time they turned around, they screamed before they were attacked.
Raph and Donnie were playing a hockey game back at the hut while everyone else was waiting for the others.
"Slap shot!" Raph managed to beat Donnie by doing a move that had his players head be knocked off which surprised him. "Raph for the win! In your face!" He bragged as Donnie groaned.
"Heheh, nice one, Raph." Jenny laughed. "You really knocked his head off, literally." She joked before she got a bo-staff whack to the head, "Ow! Hey!" She retorted to Donnie.
"There's a thing called a sore loser," Donnie said with a look.
"Who's next?! Who wants some? Casey?!" Raph asked, pointing to the other side and they saw Casey and the others still weren't back. "Oh right, they're gone." He said, remembering what they were doing.
"What kind of trouble could they get into? They've been gone all night!" Leo mocked which annoyed him a little.
"Casey and the others are grown-ups, they can handle themselves," Raph said as all of them stood silent for a moment.
"Casey, Keno, and Zach? Grown-ups?" Caitlyn questioned with a brow.
"Right. I'm calling them." Raph said as he took out his T-phone and tried to call Casey, but only got a beeper. "Casey's signal is lost." He said in surprise.
Caitlyn then called her phone and got the same thing. "Same with Zach."
"Keno isn't answering, either," Robyn spoke next while holding up her phone.
"Mikey and Ames aren't picking up either," April said while trying to group call the two turtles.
Tal then used her T-Phone. "At least they still have a signal we can track." She said, seeing their location. "Let's go." She said as they all got up to get their bracelets.
Back in the city, Mondo, Bandit, and Sally led Mikey and Ames to a sewer entrance. "Whoa! You guys lived in the sewers too?" Ames asked in surprise.
"Of course. Mr. X has taken a lot of us mutants in." Mondo said as they climbed down.
"Mr. X?" The two turtles asked in wonder as they climbed down.
"You guys have never heard of him?" Bandit asked in surprise.
"Super cool mutant, been teaching a lot of us mutants how to survive on the streets," Sally explained, "He even gave us jobs,"
"Maybe if he likes you two, he can give you jobs too," Mondo said.
"Thanks, but we already got a job," Ames said to them.
"We're Ninjas, dog!" Mikey called while swinging a few fists, but yelped as he nearly tripped before he grabbed hold of the ladder as Ames chuckled.
"Only when we want to do that is." Ames said as they kept climbing down.
They then dropped down into a chamber, "Come you two, Mr. X is just ahead," Mondo said to the two turtles as they looked around.
"Whoa! Where are we?" Ames asked in wonder.
"I've never seen this part of the sewers before," Mikey said, not familiar with the chamber of the sewers they're in before a cage came down over him and Ames. "What the?!" He called as they struggled to break free.
"Sally, Mondo, Bandit, run! Before you get caught too!" Ames called out to them.
The three mutants then gave shameful expressions, "Mikey, Ames, we're sorry," Sally said in guilt.
Then a familiar Fish mutant walked past the three, "Excellent job to you and the boys, Niñita, you lure them right into my trap." He said, patting Sally's shoulder.
"Fishface?" Mikey and Ames asked in shock before they were pushed back.
"That name is an insult! My name is Xever!" Fishface said while gripping the bars, "But you can call me… Mr. X." he revealed with a smirk.
Ames and Mikey glared before turning to the three mutants. "Mondo, Sally, Bandit, how could you?" Ames questioned.
"We thought we were pals, dudes," Mikey added, feeling betrayed.
Mondo, Bandit, and Sally turned to Fishface, "Are you sure the Turtles are as bad as you say they are, Mr.X?" Bandit asked unsurely.
"Stomp out any sympathy you might feel for them," Fishface said, patting Bandit's shoulder, "For tonight they race… to the death!" Fishface announced as he laughed evilly, which surprised the three.
"Wait, that wasn't the deal! I thought it was just a normal race!" Mondo said, shocked, trying to stop Fishface, but he was slapped away.
"Jason!" Bandit and Sally yelled as they rushed to him.
Mikey and Ames glared at Fishface, "Why are you doing, Fishface?" Ames growled as Fishface smirked at them.
"It's simple economics, really; the Underworld gets entertained, I get paid, and everyone wins! Well, not you two. You are going to lose, your lives that is," Fishface mocked, which made them mad even more.
A bit later, Ames and Mikey were tossed into a cell with Fishface laughing as they groaned and looked up as they saw Zach, Casey, and Keno looking at them with a dark-skinned girl, wearing black, with black hair shaved on one side with purple highlights on the other side.
"Hey, welcome to the party," The girl greeted with a bored expression.
In the Shellraiser, the group was driving through New York to Ames and Mikey's location. ""We're close! Not much... uh oh.." Donnie said in shock as their trackers were gone suddenly.
"That can't be good," April said, concerned after seeing this.
"We've lost the signal," Tal said in concern.
"Great. Now what?" Miwa questioned with a brow.
"Wait! listen to the police radio!" Raph suddenly said, turning it on.
"3rd and Sullivan, members of the Purple Dragons with the words, 4 cops, from Casey and Keno, written on one of their foreheads." The officer said in the radio.
"Bingo! Alright, team, let's do this!" Olly declared as he kept driving.
Leo, meanwhile, just sat back with his arms crossed and frowned. "Leo, what's wrong?" Vee asked her boyfriend as Leo sighed.
"I'm just getting tired of waiting until Splinter says I can lead again," Leo explained, looking annoyed, "I mean, sure, Olly's been leading us just great and all, but I know if I was the leader, we might've stopped Shredder once and for all by now," He added.
"Are you still ticked off that you're second in command?" Vee asked in concern.
"So what if I am? I just know that if I had the chance, I could prove I still have what it takes to be a leader." Leo said with his arms folded as he turned away, leaving Vee to look at him in concern.
Back in the cell, the group was staring through the bars while Casey turned to the girl, "So, you're the Angel Carter, Sally talked about?" He asked her.
"The one and only," Angel answered as she gave a glare, "When Sally and the boys told me they were working for someone named Mr. X, I got suspicious and decided to snoop around, but then I got snagged and thrown in here for 'Mr. X's Extreme Skate to The Death Deathathon 5000'." She explained.
"Yikes. That's rough." Zach said with a cringe.
"Tell me about it. I'm surprised a place like this even exists in the sewers." Angel said while looking around the cell. "You can find a lot of crazy stuff down here."
They then heard a 'psst' and looked out to see Mondo, Bandit, and Sally, "Guys?" Mikey said in surprise.
"Sorry about all this, dudes," Mondo apologized with a whisper.
"Yeah, Mr. X is totally bogus," Bandit added before turning to Angel, "And double bogus since he kidnapped you,"
"But don't worry, we're getting you outta here," Sally said as she checked her claws, "No, no, bingo!" She said, holding up her ring finger claw and started picking the lock.
But then the spotlight shone on them, causing three mutants to yelp and fall to the ground, "Ah, Sally, Jason, Link, you three were my most promising errand fetchers," Fishface spoke through a microphone, "But helping the enemy escape, you three are dead to me! Infact let's make that official, eh? You three are going to compete in the race! Right now!" He declared as the lights turned on as from the windows there were the silhouettes of mutants and criminals were seen cheering.
"Triple bogus." Mondo said as he, Bandit, and Angel had their backs to the door in fear.
"Jason," Angel said as she and the others nodded in agreement as the gates opened up.
"Ladies and gentle mutants, in tonight's race, ten competitors, one survivor! No rules; whoever crosses the finish line first wins! In Mr X's extreme race to the death Death-A-Thon 5000!" Fishface announced hanging from a wire with a mic with a screen appearing behind him. "Can you dig it?!" He called as the group looked at the audience.
"Guys, look, the audience," Keno said as they recognized the figures in the windows.
"It's like every baddie we ever face is here," Mikey said, seeing all the villains they've fought watching.
"First, we have, Michelangelo and Amoly, the dumbest of all the dumb turtles," Fishface announced.
"Hey! We're smart!" Ames called out.
"We're just party turtles!" Mikey added as the crow started booing at them while some of them laughed at them.
"Next, we have Casey Jones, Keno Andrada, and Zach Peterson, vigilantes and obligatory human allies," Fishface introduced the three boys.
"Hey, who are you calling obligatory?!" Keno demanded.
"Yeah, we are not Obli-Oblidairy!" Casey said, mispronouncing the word.
The crowd just laughed at him, "Okay, we are so not loved here," Zach commented.
"And Finally, Jason, Link, and Sally, a trio of misfits and traitors to mutants everywhere by befriending this human girl, Angel Carter!" Fishface continued as Mondo, Bandit, and Sally cringed in worry while Angel glared while the crowd roared in anger at them.
"Hey, No one talks like that to my friends!" Angel exclaimed with a glare.
"And for the first time ever, I, Xever Montes, will be joining the race!" Fishface said, landing down and looking at the audience as they cheered.
"Ha, if I can outskate a fish, I'm retiring my blades." Casey mocked, unconvinced at this.
"Seriously, that guy is gonna race?" Keno said with a laugh.
"I know, this is gonna be a cakewalk," Zach boasted.
"Wrong dudes! We've seen Mr X on skates!" Sally said in worry.
"He's like the fastest Fish on land!" Bandit exclaimed, holding his head in panic.
"We are hosed, man!" Mondo cried out hopelessly, "Seriously, HOSED!" He cried before he, Bandit, and Sally were smacked in the face by Angel.
"Get a grip, you three!" Angel called out with a determined look. "We just need a plan to win this."
"She's right. Guys, bring it in." Mikey said as they all huddled together.
"That's right amigos, these robo legs can't be beat!" Fishface said as Stockman flew down to them.
"Time to start the race!" Stockman announced, they all got their skateboards, or skates, ready. "Ready..." He said as he held out a flare gun.
"You are going down.." Fishface said with a smug to them.
"Set.." Stockman said about to fire it.
"We'll see about that, Fishsticks," Angel said with a glare.
"Go!" Stockman finished as he shot the gun and they all started to skate down, but they screamed as a trap door fell below them and they screamed in fear.
"NOT COOL!" Zach yelled as they landed in a tunnel, "Okay, that was a dirty trick!" He said as they rolled down the track.
"This isn't so bad right guys?" Mikey asked as they all did tricks while heading down, but they all screamed as they saw Fishface fly past them as he had rockets on his robotic legs which spun them out for a moment.
"Rocket skates! No fair!" Casey said annoyed as they all chased after Fishface as he danced.
"Dugh, That's totally cheating!" Keno added.
"He said there were no rules, so anything goes I guess!" Angel pointed out.
In the audience stands, Stockman found a seat while they were watching the race. "Take a seat already, idiot!" A guy insulted throwing something at his head, Stockman stood still for a moment before he puked on Tigerclaw's popcorn, which made him disgusted.
"You did not just do that," Tigerclaw said, furious with the fly.
Back on the track, the heroes rolled along the floor and walls as Fishface rolled over to pipe switch, "Uh oh, here come the Electro Lids!" Bandit called as Fishface turned the lever as dozens of trash can lids dropped down from above, sparking with electricity.
They all dodged the lids as best they could as they all jumped over the ramp, which made the crowd watching start booing at them as they landed on the ramp again. "Hah! If that's the worst he's got…" Casey started.
"That wasn't worst!" Sally pointed out as Fishface flipped another switch large holes in the ground opened up, and he jumped over it as it filled with water, "Oh No, not the Aquarium!" she said in fear, which confused them.
"How scary can an aquarium be?" Mikey asked, confused.
"It's not the Aquarium you have to be scared of, it's what's in it!" Bandit explained.
Fishface made a weird call, which caused dozens of Snakehead fish to jump out of the water, snapping their jaws. They were all silent in fear before they screamed in horror.
"Jump, guys! Jump!" Angel called as they started hopping over the stepping stones while dodging the Snakeheads, "Whoa, your boss sure has ugly goldfish!" She commented to her friends.
"I hate seafood!" Casey said, jumping over some.
"Ahh! Get 'em off!" Ames cried as she shook some snake heads off.
The others yelped in fear as the remaining fish jumped out of the water, but they managed to dodge them. But a fish went right under Mikey and bit him where the sun doesn't shine, and he screamed in pain, which made the audience "Ooh!" They were shocked and felt bad for him while Rahzar laughed in amusement.
"I gotcha!" Bandit said as he yanked the fish off Mikey and threw it back into the water.
"Thanks! Man, that hurts!" Mikey called as they got through the aquarium.
"Fishface is way ahead of us!" Sally called.
"Skate faster!" Keno called as they turned a corner.
Fishface pulled another switch that made large boulders roll after them. "Booyakasha!" Mikey shouted as they were skating all around them.
"Seriously, where did they get time to make this!?" Zach exclaimed.
Mondo was then flipped over his board to avoid the boulders, which the crowd watched in excitement in hoping that he trip, but Mondo landed back onto his board perfectly, much to the audience's disappointment.
"Watch out for the arrows!" Sally called next.
"What arrows?" Mikey asked, confused after hearing this. They got their answer when arrows suddenly fired from the walls and they screamed as they tried to avoid them.
Fishface laughed as he kept going forward. "See you at the finish line, fools!" He called as the walls started closing, and they saw the finish line ahead.
"There's the Finish line!" Casey called.
"As long as one of us can cross it, we're home free!" Zach declared.
"Then let's hope it will be all-" Casey called, but his strap was caught in the wall as he smacked against the wall, which made the audience cheer as he saw more walls closing in on him.
"We lost Casey!" Ames called out.
"Don't look back, just keep skating!" Keno said as they kept rolling.
"Xever's gonna win!" Mondo called as Fishface activated the next trap, which sprayed oil on the trap.
"No way!" Mikey called as he grabbed Mondo's hand. "Now, Mondo! Like a pro!" He called as he and Mondo grabbed each other's hands; at that moment, Mikey concentrated, closed his eyes, and in the abyss of his mind, an orange symbol of the Hamato Clan appeared.
Mikey's body was then covered with orange glowing swirl markings as he pulled out his chuck, which extended out with some flames. "Yeah, Boi!" He called while Mondo made guitar noises. Mikey wrapped his chains around Mondo and tossed him. "Whip-a-rama!" He called as Mondo was thrown forward with flames around him, but he felt no pain.
"Awww, yeah!" Mondo cheered as he zoomed towards Fishace. "Comin' in Hot!" He called.
"Eh?" Fishface asked in confusion before Mondo charged at him in flames.
"Cowabunga!" Mondo called as he tackled Fishface, which made him trip while Mikey, Ames, Sally, Keno, Angel, and Bandit moved past them as they looked at Mikey in awe.
"Wowzers! What was that?!" Angel said in amazement.
"Mikey, your Hamato Ninpo has been unlocked!" Ames exclaimed.
"Oh yeah! Level 10 Booyakasha!" Mikey cheered as the markings on him disappeared, and they skated down further to the finish line.
"It's not over yet!" Fishface said with rage as they landed on the floor.
"Go, guys, go!" Mondo shouted as they skated ahead before flamethrowers were thrown in front of them.
"Seriously?! Fire?! This is extreme!" Zach called as they avoided the flames the best they could.
"No one… beats… Xever!" Fishface said with anger as he recovered and took off at fast speeds, leaving them behind; Casey recovered from being hit by the crushing walls and held up his stick.
"Don't count out Casey Jones… yet!" Casey shouted as he whacked Mondo with his stick hard.
Mondo cheered as he flew across the railing as Fishface and the others were about to touch the finish line, but Mondo used his tongue to slash the line. "Yes!" Mondo's friends cheered while the audience 'booed' at the heroes' victory as they fell on the floor while Fishface flopped on the ground.
"How's the Dirt taste, Guppybreath?" Zach mocked.
"No. no! you cheaters! You hideous examples of bad sportsmanship!" Fishface said, furious that he lost.
"We didn't cheat, we looked out for each other," Sally said with a glare.
"You told us on the street it's every mutant for himself!" Bandit added.
"Well, you're wrong, dude! Friends don't let friends get kicked off of buildings or kidnap one of their own friends!" Mondo countered as they all high-fived each other.
"Sally, Jason, Link… you are traitors!" Fishface called as he drew his blade.
"My name is Mondo Gecko! Cowabunga!" Mondo shouted confidently as he tried attacking him, but Fishface just knocked him down, disappointed.
"Seriously? That is all you got?" Fishface asked with a look before a familiar sound was heard, and they all saw the Shellraiser crash through the walls and land in front of Fishface, who was sent flying behind them. Olly and Raph got out of the van and drew their weapons.
"Right, Raph. Doesn't look like they got into any trouble at all." Olly sarcastically said while Raph shook his head.
"You haven't seen the last of me turtles!" Fishface shouted before he made another evil laugh, before Mikey wrapped his chains around him, "Oh dear," He muttered.
"Time for some more, Whip-a-rama!" Mikey declared as he spun Fishface around and threw him onto the track. The crushers from earlier slammed against him multiple times, and the words 'Mondo win!' appeared on the TV. The mutants were all watching, which just made them leave in disappointment.
"Aw... who's this little guy? He's so cute!" April said, looking at Mondo.
"You ain't so bad yourself, sweetheart!" Mondo replied, sticking his tongue out, which disgusted her a little.
"Mr. X isn't your boss anymore, guys; you're free!" Mikey encouraged, which still made him nervous.
"We're free?" Mondo asked with a smile.
"We are," Bandit said with a smile.
"WE don't have to work with Mr. X anymore," Sally said as Angel approached them. "We're sorry we didn't tell you, Angel. We thought if we find a way to make a living for ourselves, we wouldn't have to keep using you or drag you down because of us." She apologized with a frown.
"Apology accepted, Sal," Angel said as the two shook hands.
Mikey then went up to Mondo, "You know, we got some buddies called the Mighty Mutanimals, they can probably help turn your life around," Mikey told the Gecko.
"Thanks, dudes," Mondo said gratefully, shaking Mikey's hand.
"I gotta admit, you are a pretty cool little Gecko dude, dude." Casey complimented with a smile.
"Thanks, you guys are the best! So guys, can I say Booyakasha sometimes?" Mondo asked hopefully.
"As long as we can say Cowabunga once in a while!" Mikey replied excitedly.
"Like right now," Ames said with a smirk.
"Cowabunga!" Ames, Mikey, and Mondo all shouted at once, striking rock poses, glad that they all had made new friends.
Bandit Raccoon and Sally Pride come from the IDW Comics, while Angel hails from the 2003 series. Their appearances are based on the artist Jeben1. Also, Mikey's power is based on his Rise counterpart's magic whip and flaming projectiles.
