My idea for season 8. The Titans' most dangerous enemies and some new ones are coming out of the wood work. With the growing danger the Titans must recruit some more help and strengthen their forces. The Titans travel around to recruit new members and establish the Titans North and the Titans South. Together they may be able to face this growing threat. Please read and review.

2. Old Wounds

Spoiler: This chapter will focus on Beast Boy, and in this I will introduce a new/secret hobby of his that I gave him. Something I can picture him doing. I will also reveal a little bit about Beast Boy's past and introduce some new villains.

Old Wounds

It was a dark night in Jump City as a mysterious man in a white outfit walked the streets with his hands in his pocket. He walked by a few people who looked at him curiously, prompting him to shoot them ugly looks that made them uncomfortable. Everyone just steered clear of him as he walked down the sidewalk but stopped when he came to a store selling TVs. The TVs were all in the front window showing a live news report of the Teen Titans battling Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man.

While the footage played an anchorman said, "This just in, the Teen Titans are currently battling Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man in Main Square."

The footage showed Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man was over twenty feet tall with different parts of his body made of different materials. He tried to smash Robin with his left arm, which was steel with his hand as a mace, but Robin dodged him and threw an explosive disc at his face. Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man cringed in mild pain before lunging his right arm, which was a snake, at Robin and trying to bite him. Robin avoided the snake as he jumped out of the way, then Starfire flew at Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man with her eyes and fists glowing green. She punched Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man in the face several times and knocked him back into the building behind him. He then changed his right arm into rock before the spaces between glowed orange and he threw a lava bomb at Starfire and knocked her out of the air. Raven floated in front of Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man and encased some streetlights and cars in her dark energy before hurling them at him. They all hit him as he shielded his upper body and the objects drove him back but he stayed on his feet. He then changed his snake arm into a Sandbox Tree and grew fruits on the ends of his fingers, he threw the fruits at Raven and she dodged them as they exploded like grenades. Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man was blasted by Cyborg's right sonic cannon, but he was still standing as he turned his torso into diamond. He then kicked Cyborg away with his right leg, which was made of wood and somewhat resembled a tree. He smiled arrogantly before Beast Boy charged at him as a T-Rex and knocked him over as he fell on his back.

The man watching the footage widened his eyes as he stared at Beast Boy and said, "You…"

Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man got back up and glared at Beast Boy as he changed his sandbox tree arm into steel and punched the green T-Rex in the face and knocked him down.

Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man smiled arrogantly at Beast Boy as he gloated, "You may be tougher than when you were with the Doom Patrol, but you're still just stupid little kid!"

He turned around and sprouted an Ankylosaurus tail from his butt and tried to crush Beast Boy's head with it. Beast boy quickly changed from a T-Rex to a snake and slithered out of the way of the clubbed tail before moving toward Cyborg, who started to get up.

Beast Boy reverted to his human form and got back up as he looked at Cyborg and yelled, "Cy! Go for his legs!"

Cyborg blasted his sonic cannon at Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man's legs and knocked him off his feet as he got on his knees. Beast Boy flew over him as a bird before changing into a humpback whale and falling on top of Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man. He slammed him into the ground before changing back to his human form; Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man was knocked out as he shrunk to normal size and turned human.

The Titans regrouped as Beast Boy happily said, "Sweet!"

Cyborg smiled at Beast Boy as he said, "Nice call BB."

Starfire smiled at both her friends as he happily said, "Bravo friends! Together you triumphed over the Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man!"

Raven showed a small smile as she said, "Good job."

Robin smiled at them as he commended, "Nice teamwork guys."

Beast Boy smiled with pride as he said, "I know how to handle him."

The news showed the anchorman as he happily said, "Another villain defeated thanks to the Teen Titans."

The mysterious man smiled evilly as the screens showed Beast Boy as he said, "After nine years I've finally found you."

Opening theme song

It was a bright and sunny day at Titans Tower as the five young heroes enjoyed their peaceful morning together. Beast Boy and Cyborg were playing a videogame together while Raven sat on the couch reading a book and Robin talked with Starfire.

Beast Boy and Cyborg were playing the futuristic racing game as Cyborg happily said, "You want to beat me but you can't beat me! I'll win just like I always do!"

Beast Boy stressfully stared at the screen while using his controller as he said, "Come on! Come on! Tighten the turn! Turbo!"

He and Cyborg were neck and neck in the race until Cyborg finally knocked Beast Boy off the track and won.

Beast Boy groaned in disappointment while Cyborg smiled down at him and victoriously bragged, "Oh yeah! I win again! I'm the man!"

Beast Boy scowled for a moment before smiling competitively as he said, "Yeah, but I'll get you next time!"

Cyborg smiled competitively as he said, "Oh, you up for a rematch?"

Beast Boy smiled as he stood up and pointed his thumb back while saying, "Maybe later. I'm heading into town. I'll be back in a couple hours. If there's trouble give me a call."

He started walking as Starfire curiously asked, "Where are you going?"

Beast Boy smiled awkwardly as he said, "Oh, nowhere. I'm just going into town for a little me-time. See ya."

He backed up and then went out the door as it closed behind him, when he was out of the room he let out a sigh of relief. He quickly ran down the hall and made his way out the front door of Titans Tower with a big smile on his face. He then changed into a bird and flew toward the city while Starfire watched him from the window of the main room.

Starfire became more curious as she watched Beast Boy fly toward the city and said, "Beast Boy is acting strange."

Raven kept reading her book while she sarcastically asked, "Starfire, where have you been the past year?"

Starfire looked at Raven as she said, "I believe he is keeping something from us. I have noticed that he has going into the city to do undisclosed things for the past few months."

Cyborg looked up in thought as he curiously said, "Now that you mention it, it does seem like he's hiding something."

Robin shrugged his shoulders as he brushed it off and confidently said, "It's probably nothing to worry about."

Starfire turned to Robin with a bit of concern as she asked, "Then why does he not share his secret with us?"

Robin held his palm up as he explained, "Everyone has something they want to keep to themselves Star. There's still a lot we don't know about Beast Boy Starfire. I'm sure there are some things he doesn't want to share with us."

Starfire then turned to the others with the tips of her index fingers together as she said, "Perhaps we should follow him to see where he is going."

Cyborg smiled as he stood up and said, "I'm in."

Raven kept reading her book as she showed disapproval and said, "Not a good idea. It's best that we stay out of his personal life."

Robin agreed as he said, "Raven's right."

Cyborg looked at Robin in shock as he said, "Say what?!"

Robin looked at him and Starfire as he solemnly said, "I'm all about digging up answers but that doesn't mean we should violate someone's privacy for no good reason. Beast Boy is our friend, we should trust him."

Starfire spoke sincerely as she said, "I only wish to make sure that there is nothing wrong and that he is not in any trouble."

Cyborg smiled happily before looking at Raven with a sly expression while he said, "Yeah, we'll just go and see what he's up to. If it's nothing to worry about we'll leave him alone. It might be something juicy that we can get some mileage out of."

Raven looked up from her book with a mischievous smirk as she shut her book and then stood up and joined the others.

Robin finally surrendered as he turned and started walking while he said, "Okay, I guess it couldn't hurt to just check on him."

The four of them promptly left the Tower and headed into the city to look for Beast Boy as they walked the streets. They searched for several minutes as they walked the streets and looked for any sign of Beast Boy nearby. They moved quickly to hasten their progress and to avoid looking suspicious and hoping to avoid being noticed if Beast Boy was nearby. Raven and Starfire floated in the air as they looked through windows of nearby buildings to check and see if Beast Boy was inside. They found no trace of Beast Boy yet but then regrouped on a sidewalk as Cyborg started tracking Beast Boy's locator signal.

Cyborg looked at the screen in his left forearm as he said, "I got lock on BB's locator. He's flying over the rooftops straight ahead."

They all looked out in the direction Cyborg said, and they caught a glimpse of a green pigeon flying away from them as it flew over a few tall buildings. Raven created a platform of her black magic that carried herself and the others into the air as they ascended high into the air. They were unaware that they were being watched by someone hiding in an alley nearby as they stared at the Titans. The person wore a green mechanical suit of armor that looked quite menacing, with a frightening mask and spikes on the helmet. The suit completely covered the person's body, leaving no trace of their body visible, though the stature suggested that they were a muscular man. The design and shape of the suit somewhat resembled the appearance and clothing of a Roman gladiator. The suit also had a metal battle skirt around the thighs and it was armored with large shoulder green pads. The armor was much taller than an average human as it stood at more than seven feet tall with an intimidating build. The armor had no hands, the left arm had a long silver sword on the end of it, and the right arm had a big black gun on the end. The face of the suit also looked very ominous as it had eyeholes that were seemingly empty with nothing but black emptiness inside. The face also had a mouth composed of a large metal jaw with sharp teeth that made it look quite frightening.

The mysterious person watched the Titans fly up while they spoke with a man's voice and said, "Yes Titans, lead me to my boy."

His suit's mouth did not move when he talked, his voice also sounded masculine but inhuman as his suit disguised his voice. He did not move much as he ignited thrusters in the suit's feet and flew after the Titans from a safe distance. Raven raised her platform into the air as she and the others stood on it and soon spotted Beast Boy flying nearby as a pigeon. They moved carefully to avoid being seen by him as they kept their distance while following the green bird. Beast Boy flew over a few rooftops before approaching one specific roof, where he landed and changed to his human form. He smiled happily as he walked into a glass structure on the rooftop and closed the door behind him, unaware that he was followed. Raven's platform landed on the rooftop and vanished as the four of them stood on it and stared at the glass structure Beast Boy walked into. It was approximately the same size as a large shed and they could see plants inside through the windows.

Raven pulled her hood down with a surprised expression as she said, "A greenhouse?"

Cyborg was also surprised as he said, "What's BB doing here?"

Starfire was somewhat confused by the term Raven had used as she asked, "Green house?"

Raven looked at Starfire as she explained, "A building where people try to grow plants. It protects them from the weather outside, especially if it's cold."

Starfire smiled happily as she put her hands together and said, "Endearing."

Cyborg still showed confusion as he asked, "But why would Beast Boy come here?"

Robin showed uncertainty as he shrugged his shoulders and theorized, "Maybe he's working on a botany project with someone."

Raven folded her arms with a bored expression as she said, "Well it doesn't seem like anything interesting so let's go home."

Starfire then walked to the door and grabbed the nob, despite the others protests as they tried to stop her. She did not listen as she opened the door and walked in while the others sighed in exasperation and followed her. They walked and glanced around curiously as they saw dozens of different plants around them, some were hanging from the ceiling in pots. The four of them kept walking as they looked around until Starfire stopped and saw Beast Boy from behind watering a plant while happily humming to himself.

The others kept staring at him as Starfire said, "Beast Boy?"

He jumped in surprise and turned to see his friends as they stared at him and his outfit; he was wearing a gardening apron, gloves, and a sunhat. He held the watering can in his right hand and a pair of gardening clippers in his left hand from pruning plants.

Beast Boy stared at the others in shock while he freaked out and asked, "What are you guys doing here?!"

Starfire stepped closer to him as she honestly said, "We knew you were hiding something and we wanted to find out what."

Beast Boy was shocked as he said, "You followed me?!"

Robin held his right hand out as he calmly said, "We just wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong."

Cyborg glanced around at the plants before looking down at Beast Boy as he curiously asked, "What is this place?"

Seeing that he was found out, Beast Boy sighed and held his arms out as he said, "This is my greenhouse."

Raven, Robin, and Cyborg were shocked as they said, "Your greenhouse?!"

Beast Boy nodded as he reluctantly said, "Yeah. This is where I go to get some private time and see how my plants are doing."

Cyborg was impressed as he pointed at a potted plant hanging next to his head and said, "You grew these?"

Beast Boy put the clippers and water can down while he humbly replied, "It took months of work, but yeah."

Robin was impressed as he looked around and said, "I know someone who would like these."

Raven then looked at Beast Boy while pointing her finger while she curiously asked, "How did you get permission to use a greenhouse up here?"

Beast Boy glanced from side to side while he explained, "A few months ago when we stopped Cinderblock from destroying this place, the owner of the building asked if there was anything they could do to repay us."

Robin pointed his finger before holding his palm up while he said, "I remember that. We told him that they didn't have to do anything for us."

Beast Boy smiled sheepishly as he glanced around and said, "Yeah but I asked if I could use this greenhouse to grow some plants."

Raven cocked an eyebrow at Beast Boy as she commented, "You asked for a favor in return after saving someone?"

Beast Boy looked mildly annoyed as he shrugged his shoulders and said, "It didn't seem like too much to ask for."

Cyborg nonchalantly agreed as he stated, "Yeah, you helped save the building so it sounds like a fair deal."

Beast Boy smiled calmly as he held his palms up and continued, "The greenhouse was already here and no one was using it, I just wanted to use it to grow some plants and they said 'yes'."

Robin looked at Beast Boy with surprise as he said, "I didn't know you were interested in botany Beast Boy."

Cyborg was also surprised as he smiled and said, "Yeah man. You're full of surprises."

Beast Boy smiled sheepishly as he said, "I've liked planting ever since I was a kid."

Starfire stood in front of Beast Boy as she curiously asked, "Why did you not tell us?"

Beast Boy scratched the back of his head as he insecurely looked down and said, "I thought you guys might make fun of me."

Robin smiled as he solemnly said, "Beast Boy we'd never do that."

Raven agreed as she curiously asked, "Yeah, why would you think that?"

Beast Boy scowled Raven a bit as he folded his arms and said, "Raven…"

Seeing his point, Raven folded her arms with a blank expression as she honestly said, "Okay I know I make fun of you a lot, but this is nothing to be embarrassed about."

Starfire smiled as she held Beast Boy's shoulder and sincerely said, "Agreed. You are our friend and we would never ridicule your interests or passions."

Beast Boy smiled at them until Cyborg came and pointed at him as he snidely said, "Yeah, but that apron's not really your color."

Beast Boy scowled at Cyborg with a throbbing red vain on his forehead before Cyborg reached out to touch a leafy plant.

Beast Boy swatted his hand away as he said, "Hands off!"

Cyborg was surprised as he glared at Beast Boy and said, "Hey, take it easy dude! There just a bunch of plants!"

Beast Boy pointed his thumb at himself before pointing at Cyborg as he defensively said, "These are my plants! I grew them from seeds so back off! You snap at me if even get the T-Car dirty!"

Behind Cyborg, Raven spoke up and said, "He has a point. You say the T-Car is your baby, so I guess Beast Boy feels the same way about his these plants."

Cyborg's expression softened as he understood how Beast Boy felt and sincerely said, "Sorry man. I didn't mean to hurt them."

Beast Boy calmed down as he took a deep breath before the others spread out and started looking at his plants.

Starfire floated a couple feet in the air and smiled happily as she looked at some of the plants and said, "These plants you have raised are most wonderous."

Raven looked at some plants with a small smile as she said, "I have to admit, this is nice. You do have a talent for this."

Beast Boy smiled proudly as he held his left thumb up and said, "Well, I don't like to brag but I do have a green thumb."

Cyborg stopped and smiled as he saw a big watermelon and happily said, "That's one juicy looking watermelon!"

Beast Boy looked at him as he proudly said, "Yeah, I've been growing some nice fruits and vegetables to eat."

Raven couldn't help but smile as she said, "That's healthy."

Starfire smiled happily as she exclaimed, "Glorious!"

After a moment Beast Boy put his arms up and started pushing everyone as he said, "Okay, thanks for dropping by but it's time for you to go."

He shoved them all out and stood in the doorway of the greenhouse as they turned back to him with respectful expressions.

Robin agreed with Beast Boy as he looked at the others and said, "Beast Boy's right. We should leave him alone with his plants."

Cyborg smiled as he honestly apologized, "Okay man. We'll leave you to do your thing. We're sorry for following you."

Starfire nodded as she put her hands together and sincerely said, "Agreed. We apologize for violating your privacy."

Beast Boy showed a forgiving smile as he said, "It's cool. No harm no foul."

His eyes widened and his ears twitched as he suddenly heard the sound of a rocket flying, and he could tell it was heading right for them.

Noticing Beast Boy's troubled expression, Starfire showed concern as she asked, "Beast Boy, is something wrong?"

He quickly jumped on his friends and yelled, "Incoming!"

A missile flew by and missed them but hit the greenhouse, blowing it up in a cloud of smoke and fire that lit up the rooftop.

The Titans stared at the burning greenhouse with shock as Cyborg asked, "Yo! What the heck just happened?!"

Raven looked at Cyborg as she tensely exclaimed, "What do you think?! We were attacked!"

Robin turned to the others as he urgently said, "Someone just launched a missile at us!"

They all stared at the burning remains of the greenhouse in shock and horror while Beast Boy looked heartbroken.

He held his hand out toward the greenhouse and said, "My plants!"

He got on his knees in sadness while Cyborg sympathetically put his hand on Beast Boy's shoulder to comfort him.

Robin also showed a bit of sympathy as he said, "Sorry Beast Boy."

Starfire's eyes glowed green as she turned around and furiously yelled, "Who attacks us and destroys our friend's planting home?!"

They saw the man in the green suit of armor on a nearby rooftop as he spoke sinisterly and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to destroy the plants. I was aiming for you four."

Beast Boy immediately took off his gardening apron, gloves, and sunhat as he stood in a fighting stance and glared at the man. Raven pulled her hood up as she and Starfire floated in the air behind the boys while they all glared back at the man in armor.

Robin pulled his left fist back while holding his right fist out as he kept glaring and demanded, "Who are you?!"

The man in the green armor ignored Robin's question as he pointed his sword at Beast Boy and said, "That's not important. What's important is that I claim what I have come for. Now hand over your little green friend."

The others were surprised as Beast Boy said, "Me?"

The man lowered his arm as he stared at Beast Boy before looking at the others while he evilly said, "Yes you! I've been searching for you a long time and now I finally have you!"

Robin held his hand out in front of Beast Boy as he protectively asked, "What do you want with Beast Boy?"

The man threateningly pointed his gun at Robin before lowering it while he sadistically said, "That's none of your concern! By the way, thank you kids for leading me right to him."

Starfire gasped in horror as she looked at the burning greenhouse and realized that they had led the villain to Beast Boy. He was following them while they were following Beast Boy and he destroyed Beast Boy's greenhouse trying to get to him.

Cyborg activated right sonic cannon as he glared daggers and defiantly said, "Sorry man, BB's not for sale!"

Beast Boy glared at the villain as he clinched his fists and yelled, "Yeah dude! You're not taking me without a fight!"

The mysterious villain chuckled evilly while he said, "Strong words. You've grown so much since the last time I saw you, Garfield."

Beast Boy gasped in shock and horror as he stared at the villain in the green suit of armor, his mind racing with questions.

The others were also shocked as they looked at Beast Boy while Raven said, "Whoa!"

Beast Boy kept staring at the mysterious villain with a mixture of fear and confusion as he wondered how this person could know his true name.

Commercial break

The man in the green suit of armor stared at Beast Boy as he arrogantly said, "Now you're mine!"

He aimed his gun at them and rapidly fired orange laser beams at the Titans, but they scattered to avoid being shot. The man jumped onto the rooftop and marched toward Beast Boy, but Robin jumped at the man and kicked him in the chest. He made the man stumble backwards and then threw a birdarang at him, but the man swung his sword and sliced it in half. Robin pulled out his bo staff and swung it at the guy three times but the man swung his gun arm at Robin and knocked him away. He moved toward Beast Boy again but Cyborg blasted the guy with his sonic cannon and sent him falling off the rooftop. Cyborg walked to the edge and looked down when the man flew back up using the thrusters in his feet and hovered over Cyborg. He then bent over and flew straight at Cyborg and rammed him with his shoulder, knocking him off the rooftop. He then turned and flew back toward Beast Boy until Starfire floated in front of him and kicked the man away. He hovered in the air and stared at Starfire as she threw several starbolts at him, doing no damage before she fired her eyebeams. His suit withstood them and then his eyeholes glowed blue as he shot blue lasers from them that blasted Starfire out of the air. He flew at Beast Boy again but a wall of Raven's black magic appeared and protected Beast Boy before the guy turned around to see Raven floating in front of him. She dropped the force-field and then shot bolts of black lightning from her hands and knocked the guy back through the air. He recovered and flew at her as the mouth of his suit opened up and shot a bunch of fire at her, but she blocked it with a small barrier of her dark energy. She dropped it and he held his sword out toward her as bright electricity surged from it and shot at her. It zapped Raven as she cried in pain and fell out of the air as Beast Boy watched and glanced around at his friends in shock.

The man in the suit landed in front of Beast Boy and gloated, "Your friends cannot save you Garfield."

Beast Boy glared at the man as he clinched his fists and said, "I don't need any help to beat you!"

He changed into a gorilla and snarled as he ran at the man and tried to slam his fists on him, but the man dodged him and kicked Beast Boy. Beast Boy tumbled on the ground briefly before getting back up just as the man tried to shoot him with his gun. Beast Boy turned into a cheetah and swiftly dodged the orange laser beams while running at the guy and turning into a polar bear. He swung his paw at the man's head and knocked him down, but the man got back up and tried to shoot Beast Boy with blue lasers from his eyes. Beast Boy changed into a kangaroo and dodged them as he jumped up and over the man in the armor and landed behind him. He then turned into a Chalicotherium and slashed his claws, but the man held his sword arm up as a shield came out of the forearm and blocked Beast Boy's claws. The shield collapsed back into his armor and then he swung his sword at Beast Boy, but he changed into a rabbit and avoided it as he swiftly ran away. The an in the armor chased Beast Boy until he turned into a hippo and bit the man's sword arm and held him in place. The guy pulled his arm free and opened the mouth of his armor as he shot fire at Beast Boy, but he changed into a snake and slithered out of the way. He slithered between the man's legs and went behind him, then he turned into a rhino and charged into his back, ramming him and knocking him off the rooftop. Beast Boy reverted to his human form and watched as the guy in armor flew up using his thrusters and noticed the other Titans rejoining Beast Boy.

He pointed his gun at Beast Boy as he said, "You've won this round Garfield, but our reunion will come soon."

He then performed a tactical retreat as he flew away while the Titans watched him as Cyborg asked, "Who was that guy?"

Beast Boy looked troubled as he asked, "And how did he know my name?"

The others looked at each other with concerned expressions as they realized that Beast Boy was right and something was going on.

Later at Titans Tower

The Titans were gathered in the main room as they discussed this new mysterious villain they had encountered.

Robin faced Beast Boy as he respectfully asked, "Beast Boy, are you sure you don't know who that guy is?"

Beast Boy held his palms up as he honestly replied, "Dude, I think I'd remember a guy with a suit like that."

Cyborg held his right hand toward Beast Boy as he said, "Well he's gotta know you somehow. How else could he know your name?"

Beast Boy then eyed the others suspiciously as he said, "You guys didn't tell anyone did you?"

Robin shook his head as he solemnly said, "Beast Boy we'd never tell anyone who we didn't trust."

Starfire held her palms up as she suggested, "Perhaps if we discover who is behind the mask we can find some answers."

Raven stared into space with a vexed expression as she said, "Doubt it. It could be anyone. Anyone who knows Beast Boy well enough to make a weapon that can beat him."

Beast Boy showed a fierce expression as he clinched his fists and said, "If he wants me he can come and get me!"

The others were surprised by his attitude when suddenly an alarm went off and Robin hurried to the computer.

He looked at the others and said, "Trouble!"

The others gathered around him as Beast Boy asked, "Is it him?"

Robin stared at the screen with urgent uncertainty as he said, "Maybe. I don't know."

He typed on the keyboard and made a map of the city appear on the bit screen with three bright red dots on it.

They all stared up at the screen as Robin explained, "We've got three unknown criminals attacking the North, South, and West parts of the city."

Cyborg showed a serious expression as he said, "We'll have to split up."

Robin turned to the others with a serious expression as he pointed at each of them and said, "Right. Cyborg, you and Raven head to the south. Starfire, you and I will handle the north. Beast Boy you check the west."

They all nodded and then left the tower as they headed to each location to investigate what was going on.

Cyborg and Raven arrived at their location when they came to a factory that seemed empty as there was no one else around.

Cyborg looked at the screen in his forearm and said, "These are the coordinates, but I don't see any trouble going on."

Suddenly a wall of the factory exploded and a cloud of smoke leaked out as Raven complained, "Look again."

From the cloud of smoke emerged a large muscular man who appeared to be made of jagged shards of metal. He wore no clothes and had a large upper body with broad shoulders, a large jaw, red eyes, and he was approximately the same size as Robotman.

Cyborg stared at the person in disrespect as he said, "Whoa! Looks like someone didn't put Humpty Dumpty back together so nicely."

He glared at Cyborg and Raven as he said, "Very funny, but let's see if they can fix after I break you!"

He ran at them and tried to smash them with both his fists but they scattered to avoid him and moved in opposite directions. Raven threw her hands out and shot a beam of her black magic at the man, but it did not do much damage as he stayed on his feet. He then threw his arms out and launched razor sharp shards of metal at her, but she swerved to avoid them as they impaled a wall behind her. Cyborg then blasted the guy from behind with his right sonic cannon and knocked him on his front, but he got back up and turned to Cyborg. He launched one metal shard at Cyborg from his arm and it hit Cyborg in the chest and exploded on impact. The blast knocked Cyborg back as he cried in pain and stared at the guy in surprise, then the man launched more shards at Cyborg. They hit different parts of his body and exploded against him before blasting him at Raven and launched more shards at her. She quickly protect herself with a sphere of her dark energy as the shards exploded against it, but they kept hitting it and blowing up against it. Raven grunted as she struggled to maintain her force-field before it gave out, then she avoided more shards that came at her. She threw her hands out and encased the other shards in her dark energy and then hurled them back at the metal man and exploded against him. She landed on the ground as Cyborg joined her, but then the man made of metal shards emerged from the cloud of smoke and smiled evilly.

Raven and Cyborg were slightly deterred as Raven said, "Maybe we should've gone to the north."

Meanwhile, on the north side of town, Robin and Starfire arrived at their destination as they found people running in fear. They looked and saw a man floating in the air as he came toward them; he was tall and muscular with a build similar to Slade's. He had green skin, though a darker shade of green than Beast Boy's, and he wore a long blue and white robe. He had mechanical boots, high tech gauntlets, a technological belt, and a metal crown/headband on his head with a red light on the front.

Starfire was surprised as she stared at man and said, "A Zaroxian?"

He smiled as he confirmed her suspicions and said, "Correct Tamaranean. Now you and this world witness my mastery of technology!"

The man was really an alien from another planet and the red dot on his forehead lit up as he shot a red laser at Robin and Starfire. They both dodged it as Starfire threw starbolts at the green alien but his belt activated a pink force-field that protected him. He dropped the force-field as Starfire flew at him and he punched her with his left arm, his gauntlet glowed with blue energy that hurt her as he knocked her away. Robin threw a birdarang at him but the green alien caught it in his other hand and crushed it in his gauntlet with an evil smile. Robin deployed his grapple and used it to swing toward the alien and kick him in the face, sending him falling to the ground. The alien recovered and used his anti-gravity boots to avoid hitting the ground as he floated in the air with a smug grin. Robin landed on the ground and flew an explosive disc at the alien, but he floated in place as he made his pink force-field appear around him again.

The disc exploded against it and the alien being smiled evilly as he gloated, "Your weapons are nothing compared to mine!"

Robin gritted his teeth in anger while the alien dropped his force-field and fired the red laser from his headband. Robin jumped out of the way as the laser blasted the ground and blew a small crater in it as the blast knocked Robin down. Starfire joined Robin and they both looked as the alien being came floating toward them with an evil smile on his face.

He kept smiling as he gloated, "Such inferior beings!"

Meanwhile Beast Boy was a bird as he flew onto a rooftop on the west side of the city and turned human as he searched for anything suspicious.

Suddenly the man in the green suit of armor flew up behind him and said, "I knew you'd come back to me."

He fired an orange laser beam from his gun, but Beast Boy turned into a frog and dodged it as he hopped out of the way. He then morphed into a Pteranodon and flew at the man in the armor and pecked him in the face and made him fall back onto a rooftop underneath. He got back up as Beast Boy turned into an elephant in front of him and charged at him, knocking him over again. The guy quickly got back up and held his sword out as it surged with electricity, then he shot bolts from it that shocked the green elephant. Beast Boy reverted to his human form when the guy came at him again, but Beast Boy changed into a donkey and kicked him with his hindlegs. He made the guy stumble backwards but he stayed on his feet and fired blue lasers from hie eyeholes and blasted the green donkey down. Beast Boy changed to his human form as he laid down on the roof as he groaned in pain while the man in armor walked toward him.

He stood over Beast Boy and gloated, "You have grown since I last saw you, but you're still just a boy."

Beast Boy glared at the man as he angrily demanded, "Who are you?!"

The man spoke mockingly as he said, "You still haven't figured it out? You always were slow. I suppose I can show you."

The head of the suit then rose up on a hinge and showed the man's real face; he had white skin, short black hair, a wide chin, and brown eyes.

Beast Boy was shocked as he recognized the man and said, "Galtry?!"

The man smiled evilly as he said, "I'm happy to see that you remember me after all this time. It's so good to see my boy again."

Beast Boy gritted his teeth as he got on all fours and furiously exclaimed, "Dude, you are NOT my dad!"

He then morphed into an Ankylosaurus and swung his clubbed tail at Galtry and knocked him off the rooftop. Galtry flew into the air as the head of his suit came back on and he fired his gun at Beast Boy, though the laser beams did little damage to his armored back.

Galtry pointed his sword at Beast Boy and said, "You've been running from me for seven years and now I've finally caught you!"

Beast Boy turned back to his human form and glared at Galtry as he defiantly said, "I don't run from anyone anymore!"

Beast Boy turned into an Argentavis and flew at Galtry as he slashed his talons at him, but did not inflict any noticeable damage to his armor. He flew away when Galtry swung his sword at him and missed, then Beast Boy turned into a Quetzalcoatlus and flew back at him. He grabbed Galtry in his beak and threw him down to the rooftop before landing over him and changing into a sasquatch. He raised his fists over his head and growled as he prepared to smash Galtry, but Galtry looked up at him and fired the blue lasers from his eye sockets. He knocked hit Beast Boy and knocked him down before he got up and kicked the green sasquatch and slid him across the rooftop.

Galtry ignited his thrusters and took flight as he hovered and said, "Don't worry Garfield. The fun's just starting."

He flew away while Beast Boy reverted to his human form and watched him with an angry expression. He returned to Titans Tower as he walked in the main room and found the others talking about the villains they faced. The screen behind them showed pictures of Galtry and the other two villains while the Titans looked at Beast Boy.

Raven could tell Beast Boy was not in a good mood as she said, "You lost too?"

Beast Boy nodded as he walked to the others while Robin looked at the screen and said, "Okay, we've got three new villains loose in the city."

Cyborg angrily looked at the pictures before looking at the others as he ranted, "A guy in a suit of armor, an alien, and dude made out of sharp metal. And they all kicked our butts!"

Beast Boy's eyes widened in surprise as he pointed at the alien then the metal man as he said, "Garguax and Shrapnel!"

The others looked at him in shock as Raven said, "Wait, you know these guys?"

Beast Boy stared at the pictures as he said, "I fought them back when I was with the Doom Patrol."

Cyborg was somewhat impressed as he looked at the pictures and said, "Whoa, no wonder they were so tough."

Starfire then looked at Beast Boy as she curiously asked, "Were you able to learn the identity of the third criminal?"

Beast Boy scowled at the picture as he replied, "Yeah. Nicholas Galtry."

Raven curiously asked, "Another bad guy you fought with them?"

Beast Boy kept scowling in hatred as he said, "No. I knew him before I joined the Doom Patrol. After I turned green and got my powers he raised me for two years. But he was the worst! He treated me terribly and tried to do me in!"

The others were shocked as Cyborg said, "Whoa!"

Beast Boy glanced around at them as he said, "I finally ran away from him and joined the Doom Patrol. I stayed away from him for seven years but now he's found me."

Robin stared at the pictures of the three villains with a suspicious expression as he pointed at them while saying, "This can't be a coincidence. First Galtry shows up looking for you, then two enemies of the Doom Patrol come along and attack at the same time."

Cyborg also became suspicious as he said, "Yeah, why are all these guys from Beast Boy's past just showing up?"

Raven folded her arms with a serious expression as she said, "Someone must be sending these guys after Beast Boy."

Starfire was concerned as she asked, "But who?"

Beast Boy looked fiercely determined as he pounded his fist and said, "Whoever they are I'm gonna kick their butt back to the hole they crawled out of!"

The others were surprised and somewhat concerned by Beast Boy's attitude as they looked at him and noticed that he looked angry. Raven could sense with her powers that underneath his anger there was a mixture of sadness and fear.

Suddenly they all heard an explosion and the alarm sounded as the computer repeatedly said, "Intruder alert!"

Robin immediately showed a serious expression as he turned to the others and yelled, "We're under attack!"

They all hurried out of the room and down the hall and reached one of the lower levels of the tower when suddenly a door was blown up.

The Titans stared at the smoke as Galtry, Shrapnel, and Garguax emerged from it as Galtry said, "Hello Garfield. I hope we haven't come at a bad time."

The Titans glared at them as Cyborg angrily yelled, "Ya'll made a big mistake coming into our house looking for a fight!"

Shrapnel smiled evilly as he said, "I like your attitude, but we're ready to deal with all of you young supers."

Garguax smiled evilly as he held his left hand up and moved it out while turning his body as he said, "Yes, thanks to a certain friend of ours."

They stepped aside as the smoke began to clear and from it emerged two familiar faces: Madame Rouge and Elephant Man.

Beast Boy glared at them both as he hatefully said, "Madame Rouge! So the Brotherhood of Evil is behind this! The Brain's trying to get me to join him again!"

Madame Rouge scolded Beast Boy before smiling sinisterly while she said, "Do not flatter yourself! You had your chance to join us but you wasted it! We've been making deals with old friends of yours. There is one in particular who is eager to see you again, Dr. Samuel Register."

Beast Boy's eyes widened and his jaw dropped in shock and fear as he had a brief flashback to a very traumatic experience in his life. Raven sensed the trauma and grief that he felt as she looked at him with concern before looking at Madame Rouge's sadistic face.

Beast Boy snapped out of it and then glared daggers as he defiantly said, "I'm not going anywhere, especially not with you!"

Galtry spoke evilly as he aimed his gun at Beast Boy and said, "We were planning on taking you by force Garfield."

The other Titans agreed with Beast Boy as they stood beside him while Robin firmly said, "Beast Boy's staying with us. We're not gonna give him up."

Madame Rouge was not deterred as she pointed at the Titans and ordered, "You have no choice. Attack!"

The other bad guys ran past her as they attacked the Titans while they ran at them as Robin yelled, "Titans go!"

Raven floated in the air and fought Garguax as he used his anti-gravity boots to float in front of her and shot a red laser from his crown. She blocked it with a barrier of her black magic and then her eyes glowed white as she shot a beam of her dark energy at him. Meanwhile Cyborg fought Elephant Man as he ran at him and punched him in the chest three times, but then Elephant Man punched Cyborg and sent him crashing into a wall. Starfire floated in the air and threw a few starbolts at Shrapnel but he was still standing when he launched a few metal shards from his arms. They exploded when they hit Starfire and knocked her to the ground; Robin pulled out his bo staff and whirled it as he ran at Madame Rouge. She stretched her limbs out as she tried to punch and kick him, but he dodged her fist and foot before hitting her in the face with his bo. She back up and kicked him away before stretching her arms toward him as she tried to grab him, but he dodged her hands. Beast Boy was a lion as he roared and ran at Galtry as he tried to slash his claws at him, but Galtry dodged him as he flew in the air. The mouth of suit opened up and breathed fire at Beast Boy, but he turned into a hummingbird and dodged it before flying at Galtry. He changed into a gorilla and fell on Galtry as he grabbed him and pinned him to the ground, but Galtry managed to force the gorilla off of him.

Cyborg stood in front of Elephant Man in a fighting stance as he smiled and said, "Hey, you give up now I'll give you a bunch of peanuts."

Elephant Man then angrily charged at Cyborg and knocked him toward Beast Boy, who turned human and said, "Uh, Elephant Man hates peanuts."

Cyborg looked at Beast Boy with an annoyed expression as he said, "Now you tell me?"

Elephant Man suddenly sucked some small chunks of rubble into his trunk and shot them back out at high speed. Beast Boy and Cyborg quickly got up and dodged them before they kept fighting; Beast Boy helped Cyborg fight Elephant Man as he morphed into a Triceratops. He charged at Elephant Man and rammed him back through a wall behind him, then Cyborg came and blasted Elephant Man with his sonic cannon. Elephant Man climbed out of the hole and let out a loud trumpet before he slammed his fists down on the floor and made the building shake and rattle. He charged toward Beast Boy and Cyborg but they separated as Beast Boy changed into a bird and flew away. Meanwhile Starfire kept floating in the air as she shot a ray of starbolt energy from her left hand at Shrapnel and knocked him down on his back. He got back up and launched a bunch of metal shards at Starfire and hit her as several exploded against her, prompting her to cry in pain as she fell to the floor.

Shrapnel had a smug grin as he said, "Bing! Bang! Boom!"

Raven shot bolts of black lightning at Garguax but he blocked them with his force-field before shooting the red laser from his crown. Raven blocked it with a force-field of her own, but after she dropped it he flew at her and punched her with his glowing blue gauntlet.

His punch shocked Raven with energy as she cried in pain and fell to the floor while Garguax gloated, "Inferior human!"

Robin threw a disc at Madame Rouge and tried to freeze her, but she dodged it as it covered the wall behind her in ice. Then she kicked Robin in the face and knocked him down toward Raven and Starfire while she smiled triumphantly. Cyborg jumped at Elephant Man and punched him to the ground, but Elephant Man got back up and ran at Cyborg. Cyborg grabbed Elephant Man's tusks and held him in place as he grunted in exertion and determination as he stared him in the face.

Cyborg kept holding Elephant Man's tusks as he fiercely exclaimed, "Come on thick skin! Give me your best shot!"

Elephant Man wrapped his trunk around Cyborg's waist and lifted him in the air before slamming him into the ceiling. He then spun around and whirled Cyborg around in his trunk before throwing him away as Cyborg screamed.

Beast Boy quickly turned human when looked at his friends and seriously yelled, "Guys quit lying around! Get up and kick butt!"

The others groaned as they got back on their feet when Beast Boy was shot in the butt with a dart and yelled, "Ow!"

He was shot by Galtry, who evilly said, "Goodnight Garfield."

Beast Boy soon lost consciousness and fell down, prompting Starfire to yell, "Beast Boy!"

The others saw Beast Boy unconscious and quickly became worried as they left their respective opponents to help him.

Starfire's eyes and fists glowed green as she defiantly exclaimed, "No one is taking Beast Boy!"

Cyborg agreed as he yelled, "Yeah!"

Starfire threw a bunch of starbolts at the bad guys, who dodged them, then Robin threw some explosive discs out. They dodged the discs and shielded themselves with their arms, then Cyborg blasted his sonic cannon at Elephant Man and Shrapnel. Raven encased some large chunks of debris in her dark energy and hurled them at the bad guys, knocking a couple of them down.

Everyone got up as Madame Rouge glared at the Titans before looking at the others while she said, "Insolent children! Shrapnel, Elephant Man, time for our grand escape!"

Elephant Man held his trunk out and then emitted a sonic elephant trumpet that hurt the Titans' ears as they held their heads in pain. They gritted their teeth as they covered their ears to try to block out the noise but it was too loud. Shrapnel then held his arms out and launched a bunch of his metal shards at both the Titans and the hallway around them. All the shards exploded and blasted the Titans back while also causing the ceiling to cave in over them. The blast knocked them out of the way of the falling concrete but it blocked the hallway and separated them from Beast Boy and the villains. The Titans were unconscious as Elephant Man stopped emitting his sonic elephant trumpet and they all walked to the unconscious Beast Boy.

Madame Rouge smiled evilly as she said, "You cannot run from your past forever. Sooner or later you must face it."

She smiled evilly as Elephant Man picked up Beast Boy and the villains all walked out with their prize while he was still out cold.

Commercial break

It was dusk outside as the Titans groaned in pain as they awoke and got on their feet as Cyborg held his head and said, "What happened?"

Raven held her throbbing head as she said, "I think we were attacked by Madame Rouge and some other bad guys."

Starfire gasped as she remembered everything and shouted, "Beast Boy!"

The others quickly remembered everything else and looked at the rubble where the ceiling caved in and blocked the hallway. Raven's eyes glowed white as she encased the rubble in her dark energy and cleared it out of the way. The Titans were all horrified and devastated when they saw that the villains were gone, and so was Beast Boy.

Starfire immediately expressed her worry as she said, "They have taken Beast Boy! We must find him before it is too late!"

Raven spoke with confidence and determination as she said, "We'll find him Starfire. We will!"

The others all nodded in agreement as they left the hallway to try and figure out where Beast Boy had been taken. Meanwhile, Beast Boy groaned as he woke up in a dark room with a bright light shining on him overhead. He heard dogs barking and monkeys screeching as he could see animals in cages along the walls of the room. He noticed that he was strapped to a large medical table propped up vertically and he had a high-tech collar on his neck that prevented him from using his powers. He grunted as he struggled but he could not break free as he couldn't reach his neck and the restraints were too tight. He stopped when the villains stepped into the light, with Madame Rouge standing in front of him with an evil smile.

Beast Boy glared at her as he asked, "What's the Brain up to this time?"

She spoke condescendingly as she said, "Do you think I would be stupid enough to tell you?"

Beast Boy smiled snidely as he said, "Maybe."

Madame Rouge was not deterred before she smiled deviously while saying, "Once you and all the other Titans are eliminated there will be nothing stopping us from achieving our goal. Now it is time for your doctor's appointment."

She stepped aside and the man in the white outfit from the night before stepped into the light and said, "Hello again Garfield. It's been so long."

Beast Boy became frightened as he stared at the man and said, "Dr. Register!"

He smiled maniacally as he said, "I'm flattered that you remember me, although now most people call me the Zookeeper. But enough about me. Let's get to work."

He pulled out a large needle as he smiled at Beast Boy, who stared with his eyes trembling in fear while the other villains smiled sadistically.

Meanwhile at Titans Tower

The Titans were in the main room as Cyborg typed on the computer while Raven, Robin, and Starfire discussed finding Beast Boy.

Robin looked at his Communicator in his hand before putting it away while he said, "Beast Boy's locator has been deactivated."

Raven looked at them as she seriously said, "They must've turned it off to keep us from finding them."

Robin thought for a second as he said, "When they attacked Rouge mentioned someone named Dr. Register."

Starfire curiously asked, "Who is that?"

Robin narrowed his eyes as he seriously said, "Don't know, but it can't be good."

Raven showed concern as she said, "It must be someone from Beast Boy's past. When she mentioned that name I sensed a lot of fear and grief in Beast Boy. Like he was remembering some kind of traumatic experience or something."

Robin slammed his fist down on his palm as he seriously said, "We find him we find Beast Boy."

They all looked at Cyborg as he spoke up and said, "I searched the name online and I think I got something."

They all joined Cyborg as he read some data and showed a frightened expression while he said, "Dr. Samuel Register: a former scientist at a S.T.A.R. Labs facility in Africa. He was obsessed with studying a rare virus and was fired from the facility for his unethical experiments on live animals."

The others quickly became worried as they thought about what someone like that might do to Beast Boy.

Starfire started to look desperate as she turned to Cyborg and asked, "Is there anything that may aid us in our search for him?"

Cyborg typed on the computer with a serious expression as he said, "Based on his reputation and experiments I think I have a good idea where he could be."

The screen then showed a map with a red dot as Robin said, "An abandoned vet clinic, perfect!"

Starfire floated in the air as she clinched her fists and fiercely said, "Let us go rescue our friend!"

The others agreed as they quickly hurried out of the main room as they rushed to find Beast Boy and stop the bad guys.

Back in the lab

The Zookeeper walked into another room with a vial of Beast Boy's DNA along with Madame Rouge and Elephant Man.

He stared at the vial as he maniacally said, "Finally! With this I'll be able to complete my research!"

Madame Rouge spoke bluntly as she said, "Then our transaction has ended."

Zookeeper looked at her as he smiled politely and said, "Yes, I thank you and the Brain for all your assistance. You've brought Garfield to me and given me the final piece needed to complete my greatest experiment."

Madame Rouge and Elephant Man started walking out but Madame Rouge stopped and said, "When you are done with him, destroy him."

He smiled maliciously as he made a sick joke, "He will be put to sleep."

She smiled evilly as she and Elephant Man left the building, then Zookeeper smiled evilly as he brought the vial and walked to a desk with more chemicals. Sometime later, the rest of the Titans arrived as they appeared in a field of Raven's dark energy that rose out of the floor. They looked around and saw that they were in a big empty room and noticed a bunch of live animals in cages along the walls.

Raven looked around at all the animals and said, "Something tells me this is the place."

They quietly walked forward when Robin noticed a computer and said, "There. This might give us some answers."

They hurried over to the computer and hacked into it as Robin accessed some information on it as he found something interesting.

They all stared at the screen as Robin said, "There's a video file on here from nine years ago."

He opened and played it as it showed old footage of Beast Boy already green at six years old as Starfire said, "Beast Boy?"

They then watched as Beast Boy screamed in pain as Dr. Register experimented on him and the others showed horrified expressions.

Robin stopped the video with an appalled expression as he said, "He was so young."

Starfire covered her heart with a horrified expression as she asked, "Why did he not tell us this?!"

Raven already understood as she answered, "Because he doesn't like to talk about it."

Cyborg also understood as he nodded and said, "Yeah. That guy tortured him! I don't blame him for not telling us."

Robin fiercely narrowed his eyes at the others as he seriously declared, "Well we won't let him hurt Beast Boy again!"

The others nodded and hurried into another room where they found Beast Boy strapped to the propped up table with a weak expression. He was moaning as he had tubes hooked up to his body draining fluids out of him, the others quickly hurried to him and disconnected the tubes. Starfire ripped the collar off his neck while Robin used a birdarang to cut the strap restraining Beast Boy to the table. Raven's hands glowed bluish white as she started healing Beast Boy while he opened his eyes and looked at all of them.

He weakly said, "Guys…"

Robin held his right hand on Beast Boy's chest as he said, "Easy Beast Boy. We're here to save you. Save your strength."

He shut his eyes as Raven stopped healing him, then they turned around as they heard Galtry say, "How sweet. Garfield's friends have come to save him. Very touching."

They saw Galtry, Shrapnel, and Garguax staring at them on the other side of the room with evil smiles on their faces.

They stood in fighting stances as Starfire said, "The Dr. Register will not harm him anymore!"

Galtry spoke evilly as he said, "Zookeeper already got what he needed from Garfield. Now we will destroy him and the rest of you."

Robin pulled his bo out and fiercely said, "Not today!"

They charged at the three villains, who prepared to fight as Shrapnel launched some shards of metal at Robin. Robin dodged them as they impaled the wall and floor behind him, then he threw a birdarang at Shrapnel but he crushed it in his hand. Robin then threw a few flash bombs at Shrapnel, which temporarily blinded him as the bright lights flashed in his face. He stumbled around a bit briefly before his eyesight returned and Robin swung his bo at Shrapnel's face several times. He made him jerk around a bit before Shrapnel and kicked Robin back and held his right hand up as he made a large shard of metal stick out from the back of his wrist.

He prepared to attack Robin as he angrily said, "Let me make my point!"

He ran at Robin and tried to stab him with the shard of metal coming out of his wrist, but Robin dodged it and retreated. Garguax floated in the air when Raven and Starfire came at him and fired beams of their respective energy at him, but he blocked it with his force-field. He fired the red laser beam from his headband and blasted them both down with an explosion as they hit the floor. Galtry shot his gun at Cyborg and hit him with a few orange lasers, but Cyborg blocked them with his arms and remained standing. He lowered his arms and ran at Galtry as he tried to punch him, but Galtry held his sword out as it surged with electricity and shot bolts of it at Cyborg. Cyborg screamed in agony as the electricity zapped him and knocked him down near Starfire and Raven. Robin did a pole vault toward Galtry and kicked him in the faceplate of his suit and made him stumble back. He swung his bo at Galtry's head five times before Galtry swung his sword arm and cut Robin's bo in half, much to his shock. Galtry then swung his gun arm at Robin and knocked him back toward the others, just as they were starting to get up.

They looked at the three villains as Shrapnel said, "It's time for you kids to go out with a bang!"

He held his arms out and prepared to fire exploding shards of metal at them, but before he could do anything, Beast Boy ran past his friends as a Stegosaurus. He turned around and swung his spiked tail at them and knocked the three villains away as they fell on their backs.

Beast Boy turned human and smiled at his friends as he said, "Need a hand?"

They smiled at him as they got back on their feet as the three villains walked toward them and prepared to fight again.

Galtry stared at Beast Boy as he mocked, "Garfield, still think you're some kind of hero? You're just a boy playing pretend!"

Beast Boy glared at him as he said, "I may be young but I'm not just a scared little kid anymore!"

Shrapnel smiled arrogantly as he said, "Well, let's see how tough you and your friends really are!"

Beast Boy stared at them and saw how close they were together and then looked up and noticed a water pipe just above him and his friends.

He smiled slyly at Robin as he said, "Robin! Elephant Shock!"

Robin smiled as Beast Boy turned into a sasquatch and broke the overhead pipe, then he changed into an elephant and sucked a bunch of water into his trunk. He sprayed all three villains with the water from his trunk and left them all soaking wet as they stayed in place.

Garguax smiled arrogantly as he said, "How childish."

Robin smiled slyly as he pulled out a disc and said, "Prepare for a shock."

He threw the disc out and hit Galtry and then sparks of electricity surged from his suit and from the water on the floor. With all three villains soaking wet they were all shocked by the electricity as they screamed in pain before passing out and falling to the floor.

Beast Boy turned human as Cyborg smiled at him as he said, "Nice going BB!"

Starfire looked at Beast Boy with concern as she said, "You are alright?"

Beast Boy smiled as he said, "Yeah, thanks for coming."

Robin stepped closer as he said, "We weren't going to stand by and let those guys hurt you."

Cyborg seriously glanced around while he asked, "Now where are Rouge and Dumbo?"

Beast Boy frowned as he said, "They already left. They just used the others to try and destroy me."

Robin showed a vexed expression as he said, "They're long gone by now."

Starfire smiled optimistically as she stated, "At least we were able to defeat Galtry, Shrapnel, and Garguax."

Beast Boy clinched his fist as he seriously said, "Yeah but I'm not letting Register get away from me!"

Cyborg narrowed his eyes as he agreed, "Yeah! No way he's getting off the hook too!"

Starfire narrowed her eyes as she fiercely said, "Yes! He shall pay for past his actions against you, our friend!"

Beast Boy was surprised as he said, "What?"

Raven spoke up and pulled her hood down as she said, "We saw his video file from eight years ago. We know what Register did to you."

Beast Boy showed some signs of PTSD as he said, "I was six years old when he did it. He tried to dissect me like a frog to see what makes me tick. After I got away from him I was stuck with Galtry for two years until I ran away from him."

The others sympathized for him as showed a bit of guilt and said, "I understand why you did not wish to share these memories with us."

Beast Boy looked at her before showing a sad expression while Raven sympathetically said, "You ran a lot back then."

Beast Boy sadly looked down as he said, "You have no idea. For years I was afraid they would find me and torture me all over again. I joined the Doom Patrol so that I could finally have a home where I wouldn't need to run aymore."

Starfire looked at him with sympathy and sincerity as he said, "You do not have to live in fear anymore Beast boy. Your past may have come back to haunt you, but we are with you in the present and will stand by your side."

Cyborg smiled happily as he said, "Yeah!"

Robin seriously pounded his fist as he said, "And we'll make sure that he goes to jail for everything he put you through."

Beast Boy showed a warm smile as he said, "Thanks guys."

Cyborg then curiously asked, "So where is this Dr. Frankenstein?"

Beast Boy narrowed his eyes as he said, "Follow me!"

He morphed into a dog and started sniffing the ground as he picked up the Zookeeper's scent and followed it out of the room while the others followed him. He led them out of the building and to a nearby parking lot before he stopped and changed back to his human form.

Beast Boy glanced around before turning to the others as he said, "The trail ends here. He's gotta be close."

They all heard the Zookeeper's voice say, "Impressive Garfield. You've really changed a lot over the years."

Beast Boy turned around and glared daggers before gasping in shock as he saw the Zookeeper step out of the shadows of the parking lot. He now looked very different, his skin and hair were now purple, he had pointed ears, and he had small fangs.

Beast Boy was shocked as he said, "Register?"

He smiled maniacally as he said, "Call me Zookeeper."

Raven looked at him with a bit of a troubled expression as she sarcastically said, "Well that didn't sound crazy at all."

Beast Boy stared at him in shock as he said, "What did you do?!"

Zookeeper kept smiling as he insanely said, "I have evolved! Thanks to your DNA and my research from my last experiment with you I finally managed to replicate the event that made you what you are today. Now I have powers equal to yours!"

He demonstrated as he morphed into a purple gorilla, then crocodile, then tiger, then grizzly bear, then finally an elephant.

The Titans were surprised as they stared at him while he turned human and evilly said, "Now the world will witness my genius as I lead a new age of evolution. And since I have no further use for you and the others seem to have failed I suppose I'll have to dispose of you myself. You can run but I'll catch you."

Beast Boy glared at Zookeeper as he fearlessly said, "I'm not running!"

Zookeeper smiled evilly as he said, "Well then, this should be interesting."

He morphed into a rhino and started charging toward the Titans, while they all prepared to fight as they stood in fighting stances.

Beast Boy held his right hand up as he stopped his friends and said, "He's mine!"

The others were shocked as Beast Boy morphed into a bird and flew over Zookeeper and landed behind him. He then changed into a lion and jumped on the purple rhino's back and dug his claws into the skin, but Galtry changed into gorilla and punched the green lion in the face. He knocked Beast Boy to the ground and raised his fists over his head to slam them down on him, but Beast Boy changed into a black bear and swung his paw at Zookeeper. He knocked the purple gorilla down and roared as he prepared to attack again, only for Zookeeper to turn into bull and charge at him. He forced Beast Boy back and knocked him into a wall behind him, but Beast Boy turned into a snake and slithered under him. He then morphed into a sasquatch and knocked Zookeeper over, but then he transformed into a sasquatch as well and punched Beast Boy in the face. The two of them kept fighting while the other Titans watched, Raven smiled with faith while the others happily cheered for Beast Boy. Beast Boy morphed into a giant squid and wrapped his tentacles around Zookeeper, who was still a sasquatch.

Zookeeper managed to pry Beast Boy off of him and throw him away while he turned human and said, "You are good at this, but you're still just a boy and I am a genius!"

He then transformed into wooly mammoth and charged at Beast Boy, who quickly changed into a Pteranodon and flew over Zookeeper. He landed behind him and turned into a velociraptor as he jumped at Zookeeper and latched onto the side of his body. Zookeeper shook him off and then morphed into a baboon and jumped on Beast Boy's back and started biting him. Beast Boy morphed into a fly and escaped the purple baboon's grasp as he flew over his butt and then changed into a porcupine. Zookeeper let out a cry of pain while the other Titans cringed at the sight but kept watching as Zookeeper grabbed the green porcupine and pulled him off his butt. Beast Boy then morphed into an electric eel and shocked Zookeeper, forcing him to release him as they both turned human.

Beast Boy smiled with a snark as he said, "Looks like I'm finally doing something I wanted to do nine years ago, kicking your butt!"

Zookeeper got up with an angry expression as he said, "I don't think so!"

He turned into a ram and charged at Beast Boy, but he dodged Zookeeper and then morphed into a T-Rex and roared. Zookeeper then transformed into a Giganotosaurus and roared back at Beast Boy, then the two theropod dinosaurs charged at each other. They started biting each other as they fought fiercely while stomping around and crushing a few things under their feet. Beast Boy broke free of Zookeeper's jaws before ramming him and sending him through the wall of a building. Zookeeper fell down and reverted to his human form, he desperately tried get back up but lost consciousness while Beast Boy stood over him.

He smiled victoriously as he said, "Okay Zookeeper, now it's your turn to go in a cage!"

The others joined him as they happily cheered and congratulated Beast Boy while he smiled proudly at all of them. They handed Zookeeper, Shrapnel, Garguax, and Galtry over to the police, provided them with Zookeeper's files as evidence, and then went back to Titans Tower. It was late at night when Beast Boy lied on the top bunk of his bed with his hands behind his head as he stared up at the ceiling, thinking about everything that had happened today.

Suddenly Starfire came in and Beast Boy hopped down and said, "Star what's up?"

Starfire smiled as she held her hands out and said, "Come Beast Boy. The others and I have a present for you."

Beast Boy was surprised as he said, "A present?"

Starfire led him out of his room and out of the Tower as they went out the front door and moved along their island. Beast Boy followed Starfire as she led him to Cyborg, Raven, and Robin as they stood by a large object covered by a giant tarp.

Beast Boy looked at them as he curiously asked, "What's going on?"

Cyborg glanced around as he honestly said, "Well, we know it's bit a big day for you and you've been through a lot…"

Robin smiled as he kindly said, "So we wanted to do something to make you feel better."

Starfire floated over the tarp as she happily said, "To show you our friendship and fill you with cheer we worked together to make you this!"

She then pulled the tarp off to reveal a new greenhouse, even bigger than the one Beast Boy used on the rooftop.

Beast Boy stared in shock and awe as he said, "A greenhouse?!"

Raven spoke honestly as she said, "Yeah, since it was sort of our fault your old one got destroyed we thought we owed you a new one."

Beast Boy walked in the greenhouse and looked around to notice that there were already some plants inside it.

The others joined him as Robin said, "And some of your plants from the old greenhouse survived."

Cyborg smiled as he raised his left finger and said, "And we got you plenty of seeds to grow new plants too."

Raven looked at some gardening tools and stuff while she added, "And we bought you some new tools and stuff to help you grow more plants."

Beast Boy was speechless as he looked around at the greenhouse and saw the plants that survived the explosion.

Starfire walked up behind Beast Boy as she sincerely said, "Beast Boy, we understand you have suffered much in your past, but know that we are your friends and we will stay by your side no matter what danger comes."

Beast Boy turned back to them with a huge smile as he happily said, "Dude! You guys are the best!"

He then morphed into a giant pacific octopus and pulled the four of them close to him for a group hug with a happy look in his eyes. He kept hugging them while Starfire smiled happily as she nuzzled Beast Boy's head while Robin and Cyborg smiled awkwardly.

Raven tried to get away but couldn't as she uncomfortably said, "Okay, you're welcome. You can stop hugging now."

Meanwhile, the Brotherhood of Evil were assembled in their secret lair as they stared at computer images of Galtry, Shrapnel, Garguax, and Zookeeper.

The Brain stared at the images as he said, "In spite of their failure this defeat has given us vital knowledge about our young green friend. When faced with the demons of his past Beast Boy rose above himself and conquered his fears. Quite impressive."

They were joined by none other than Slade as he stared at the images with his hands behind his back as he said, "Agreed. Despite his flaws Beast Boy proven to be highly capable."

Madame Rouge spoke up as she ruthlessly said, "He is still only a boy and will break."

Slade turned his head toward her as he said, "Perhaps, but we still have much more to do before we are ready to strike. We have all the information we need on Beast Boy, but we still need to learn more about the others."

The Brotherhood of Evil all turned to face Slade as the Brain said, "Agreed Monsieur Slade. We will learn all of their secrets and discover their weaknesses."

Slade turned to them with an ambitious look in his eye as he said, "And we will need more allies to help our mission."

The Brain then said, "We shall form an alliance that will finally destroy them and all the other Titans around the world."

The camera zoomed in on Slade's eye as he deviously said, "Yes, and I know exactly who to recruit."

Author's note: This turned out great. I looked up enemies of Beast Boy and the Doom Patrol to add in these new villains. I chose to have Galtry go by his real name instead of "The Arsenal" to avoid confusing him with Speedy's later alter ego. I don't know a lot about Garguax so I made up some gadgets and weapons for him to use. I chose Shrapnel as one of the bad guys because I felt he would be a good challenge for the Titans to face. I could definitely picture the Brain sending people from Beast Boy's past after him, either he'd already know about them or he'd find out about them. I also thought it would be nice to give Beast Boy a hobby for planting. I can honestly picture him doing that. His greenhouse is now a new location on their island where some scenes will take place.
