My idea for season 8. The Titans' most dangerous enemies and some new ones are coming out of the wood work. With the growing danger the Titans must recruit some more help and strengthen their forces. The Titans travel around to recruit new members and establish the Titans North and the Titans South. Together they may be able to face this growing threat. Please read and review.

5. Game Over

Spoiler alert: This is a nice funny filler episode that will have some similarities to both "Mad Mod" and "For Real". I will give the Titans West some time to shine and show them fighting as a team and performing combo moves.

Game Over

It was a bright and sunny day when a green T-Ship was flying over Jump City heading for Titans Tower at a steady pace. The green T-Ship was being flown by the Titans West, who were coming to protect the city while the Teen Titans were away. They had recently been contacted by the Titans, who told them about Slade and their mission to stop him and any other villains. The Titans West had agreed to stay and look after the city while they were gone, for the San Andreas Islands would be alright without them for a while.

In the front pod of the green T-Ship was Miss Martian as she smiled and spoke into her headset, "We're coming up on Titans Tower."

The green T-Ship kept flying as shield-shaped bubble containing Superboy's face appeared over it as he said, "Our home away from home!"

A panel at the top of the screen showed Beast Boy in his pod as he said, "Titans West, this is Beast Boy."

A beetle-shaped bubble appeared over the green T-Ship with Blue Beetle's head inside as he said, "Hey man, what's up?"

Beast Boy pushed a button while seriously saying, "We're sending you guys a list of villains to watch out for."

An eagle-shaped bubble appeared over the green T-Ship with Golden Eagle's head inside as he said, "Don't worry. We'll make sure they don't cause any trouble."

A star-shaped bubble appeared over the green T-Ship as Wonder Girl's face as she happily said, "Yeah! We'll kick their butts!"

Beast Boy smiled with appreciation as he said, "Hey dudes, thanks again for protecting the city while we're away helping all the other Titans."

Miss Martian held the control yoke inside her pod as she generously replied, "Don't mention it Beast Boy."

Suddenly a bubble appeared in front of her showing Beast Boy's head as he anxiously said, "Okay, so we set up some guest rooms for you guys to sleep in, but you can use my room if you want. Cyborg says he wants you guys to remember to activate the lockdown every night, and he doesn't want anyone driving the T-Car. Don't forget to feed and walk Silkie. And do me a favor and water the plants in my greenhouse, make sure they're doing okay. Oh, and NO ONE go in Raven's room! She said she hid her magic mirror but she still doesn't want anyone going in there, and you do NOT want to make her mad! Trust me I know!"

Miss Martian smiled confidently as she assured, "Relax Beast Boy. Everything will be fine. The Titans West are on the case. Bye."

The bubble popped and the green T-Ship flew into the Tower's hanger and landed, unaware they were being watched. In his secret lair, Control Freak was watching live footage of them on one of several monitors he had on his computer. Having listened to their conversation with Beast Boy, he overheard everything they said and became curious.

He stared at the video showing Titans Tower as he said, "Titans West huh?"

Control Freak was in a huge dark room with a light shining overhead as he sat in an office chair working at his supercomputer.

He looked up at all the monitors while typing on his keyboard while he said to himself, "Well it looks like today's gameplan for the Titans is out the window, but what about these guys? Are they as good as they say they are? Are they worthy of my challenge?"

Japanese opening theme song

Control Freak typed on his keyboard as he entered a chat room and said, "So my internet followers, you know anything about the Titans West? Are they as good as the REAL Titans, or the Titans East?"

A screen showed a picture of Control Freak's face with programming next to it with letters and numbers rolling down behind the screen.

A second picture showed a bearded guy with glasses in a duck suit as he said, "Never heard of them."

Another picture showed a teenage boy with short black hair as he said, "I heard of some young heroes on the San Andreas Islands but I'm not sure they're actually Titans."

A picture showed a young girl with black hair in two pigtails as she added, "I don't think they're as cool."

Control Freak then cracked his knuckles as he said, "Well, let's see what I can find out about them."

He typed on his keyboard as he went online and did research on the Titans West and found several pictures of them, as well as a bunch of videos of them using their powers and fighting bad guys. He watched all of these videos while caressing his chin in thought as he evaluated their skills and abilities.

He saw a video of Golden Eagle fighting robots and typed as he said, "So, it looks like Golden Eagle is the Robin of the team."

In his chat room a picture of the bearded guy showed up as he said, "He's not as good as Robin!"

The black-haired teen's picture appeared as he said, "Yeah! So he can fly, so what?"

The picture of the girl appeared onscreen as she said, "Robin's WAY cooler!"

Control Freak the played a video of Wonder Girl deflecting lasers with her bracelets and then smashing robots with her fists.

The video ended and the black-haired teen said, "She's got fancy jewelry, big deal."

The picture of the girl appeared as she said, "Yeah, Wonder Girl's nowhere near as cool as Raven or Starfire!"

A picture of a brown-haired boy with a buck toothed overbite appeared as he said, "Starfire's way hotter too!"

Next Control Freak played a video of Superboy flying toward Cinderblock, who swung a girder that Superboy melted with his heat vision before punching Cinderblock in the face.

The screen showed Freakshow's picture as he was not impressed and said, "He may be super, but he's no Starfire!"

The black-haired teen appeared as he said, "Yeah, just because he's an alien doesn't mean he's invincible!"

The picture of the bearded guy appeared onscreen as he said, "He's not so super!"

The picture of the girl appeared as she said, "Starfire has more powers and can do way cooler things than Superboy!"

Control Freak then played a video of Blue Beetle flying through the air with his translucent wings while blasting his plasma cannons at a mysterious villain in a high-tech suit of armor. He then crafted a mace over his right fist and swung it at the guy and knocked him down, then the video ended.

Control Freak's picture was shown as he commented, "Blue Beetle's Scarab and weapons seem to make him the Cyborg of the team."

The kid's picture was shown as he said, "There's no way he'll be as cool as Cyborg!"

The girl's picture appeared as she agreed, "Not even close!"

The black-haired teen's picture was shown as he said, "Especially now that he's got those new upgrades!"

Control Freak finally played a video of Miss Martian as she flew through a wall before turning solid and flying toward Assimilate. She punched him and sent him sliding across the ground, but he touched a concrete sidewalk and turned into concrete and punched her. His fist passed through her before she turned solid, then she shapeshifted into a large monster and attacked him, defeating him.

Control Freak smiled excitedly as he typed and said, "What about Miss Martian? Apparently she's the leader of the Titans West, and I've seen her in action. She's not bad. She can fly, shapeshift, and read minds! She's like Beast Boy and Raven put together!"

The picture of the girl was shown on screen as she said, "You know, I think Beast Boy and Raven should be together!"

The picture of the bearded guy appeared as he said, "Maybe, but Miss Martian's still not as good as them."

The picture of the black-haired teen was shown as he said, "Yeah, and I hear she's weak against fire. None of the REAL Titans have that problem."

The kid's photo appeared as he said, "Yeah! She's weak! None of these guys are as cool as the Teen Titans or the Titans East."

Control Freak smiled with interest as he kept an open mind and said, "Maybe, but we said the same thing about the Titans East the first time they came to town, and look at them."

The girl's picture was shown on screen as she said, "Yeah, but I haven't seen enough of these guys to convince me they're as good."

The photo bearded man in the duck suit showed up as he said, "Yeah, they haven't fought any villains in town yet."

The photo of the black-haired teen was shown as he said, "Yeah, their powers are okay but they got nothing on the REAL Titans!"

The kid's photo appeared onscreen as he said, "They should've stayed home."

Control Freak smiled deviously as he put his fingertips together and said, "Yeah, maybe they should've."

Meanwhile at Titans Tower, it was early in the afternoon and the Titans West were all enjoying themselves. In the main room, Superboy and Blue Beetle were sitting on the couch as they happily played a videogame together. Golden Eagle was sitting at the table jamming to some music from a boombox that wasn't too loud.

Miss Martian suddenly phased up through the floor before she turned solid and happily said, "Okay, I tended to Beast Boy's plants and they're doing fine."

Golden Eagle was bouncing in his seat to the music as he said, "Great! Great!"

Wonder Girl suddenly flew in through the door and floated in the air as she happily said, "This Tower is awesome! It's even better than ours!"

Superboy kept playing his videogame with Blue Beetle as he happily said, "Yeah, and their Gamestation is better than ours!"

Blue Beetle smiled competitively as he said, "And I'm gonna beat you on it just like I always do ours!"

Miss Martian chuckled and said, "I'm glad you're all comfortable but don't forget why we're here. We're supposed to be protecting the city."

Golden Eagle turned off his music as he said, "But there's no danger yet."

Superboy kept playing as he arrogantly said, "Yeah! Those bad guys must've heard we were coming and decided to keep their heads down."

Superboy then lost the game and yelled in frustration while Blue Beetle stood up and happily laughed in victory.

The scarab then beeped and Blue Beetle smugly grinned at Superboy as he said, "Scarab's right, you're getting better. One day you might beat me, in like ten years or so."

Superboy glared at Superboy as he angrily said, "Rematch!"

Suddenly the screen turned black and they both complained, "Hey!"

The others were surprised as they stared at the screen as Blue Beetle said, "Our game!"

Suddenly Control Freak's face appeared on the screen, prompting the Titans West to jump in fear as he said, "Greetings Titans West! Allow me to introduce myself! I am…"

Miss Martian glared at the screen as she said, "Control Freak!"

Control Freak smiled egotistically as he said, "Yes! Of course, you remember me from our last encounter."

Miss Martian smiled snidely as she said, "Yeah, I remember kicking your butt pretty good."

Control Freak was vexed until Golden Eagle spoke up and said, "And Beast Boy and the others told us a lot about you."

Control Freak was egotistical again as he said, "Yes, I'm sure they talk about their arch nemesis!"

Miss Martian was still snide as she said, "Actually they just called you a geeky pain in the butt."

Control Freak was vexed again when Superboy angrily said, "Well could you call back some other time! We were enjoying a nice videogame!"

Control Freak smiled deviously as he held up a videogame controller that was the same color and design of his usual TV remote.

He held it up for them to see before pointing it at them while he deviously said, "Oh, you like games? Then you'll love this!"

A blast of white energy was shot from the TV at the Titans West and suddenly all five of them dematerialized and the TV turned off. The Titans West found themselves together in a dark room when a light shined on them from above as the lied on the floor.

The Scarab beeped and Blue Beetle replied, "I don't know."

They all turned to a giant screen that showed Control Freak, who smiled evilly as he said, "Welcome Titans West. I have captured you all to participate in a special test for you all to prove that you are worthy of the name Titan."

The Titans West stood up as Golden Eagle glared and said, "We don't have to prove anything to you!"

Control Freak smiled evilly as he held up his left finger before holding his arms straight out as he said, "Oh but you do! For you see, I have imprisoned you all in a videogame of my own design. I designed it for the REAL Titans, but since they're not here you five will play it instead. After doing intensive research, I altered the levels and challenges for your specific powers."

Superboy had his fists on his sides as he impatiently asked, "How do we get out of here?"

Control Freak had a sinister grin as he pointed at them then folded his arms while he said, "If you wish to escape back to the real world you will have to beat my game and prove yourselves as Titans. However, there are no extra lives in this, so if you fail then it's 'Game Over' for all of you. What do you say?"

The Titans West all looked at each other before nodding and Miss Martian floated in the air and said, "Game on!"

Control Freak smiled evilly as he said, "Excellent! Oh, one more thing, my videogame will be televised all over the city! So everyone will see how tough you really are!"

Televisions all over the city showed Control Freak as he announced his game to everyone in a dramatic way. Terra and her friends were at the pizza place as they watched it on a jumbotron, Spike and Fixit were watching it on TV in their home, and the H.I.V.E. Five were sitting in the couch in their lair watching it on TV.

Control Freak spoke dramatically as he held his hands up and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my special game called 'Titanic Battles'!"

A stylized "Titanic Battles" appeared on the screen with pictures of each of the Titans West's faces around it.

Control Freak then smiled maniacally as he said, "The Teen Titans are out of town right now, so they sent some other so-called Titans to fill in for them. I've decided to test their skills and powers and let all of you watch! Let's see if they have what it takes!"

The screen then showed images and stats of Miss Martian, Blue Beetle, Superboy, Wonder Girl, then Golden Eagle before Control Freak smiled evilly while he said, "Miss Martian: the shapeshifting telepath from the red planet! Blue Beetle: cybernetically enhanced by alien technology! Superboy: Kryptonian powerhouse! Wonder Girl: Amazon in training! And Golden Eagle: free as a bird with amazing gadgets! Let the games begin!"

Golden Eagle was teleported on a long tilted platform at the bottom of a series of them, and at the top of the highest one was a giant gorilla.

Golden Eagle looked around as he heard Control Freak say, "Golden Eagle, your first challenge is Monkey Kong! You must reach the top while avoiding barrels and bombs and defeat the monkey!"

Golden smiled as he prepared to fly up when a giant clamp appeared on his wings as Control Freak said, "This clamp will prevent you from using your wings. Let's see how you do when you're the only one who can't fly!"

The gorilla started rolling barrels down; meanwhile Miss Martian was teleported into a giant maze filled with red dots with four big ones at the corners.

She saw giant fireballs moving toward her while Control Freak said, "Miss Martian, your game is Snack Man. To destroy my fireballs you must press the big buttons in the maze, which will turn them ice cubes for thirty seconds."

Miss Martian smiled as she prepared to fly through the wall until a high-tech collar appeared on her neck, and she could not get it off.

She looked alarmed as Control Freak said, "This collar will prevent you from phasing through walls or shapeshifting. No shortcuts!"

She punched a wall and tried to smash it but she didn't even scratch it, prompting her to fly away from the fireballs. Blue Beetle looked like he was in the sky as he activated his wings and hovered in the air and looked up to see space ships flying down toward him.

He looked at them as he heard Control Freak say, "Blue Beetle, your game is Star Invaders. To beat it you must destroy all the invading space ships coming down toward you."

Blue Beetle smiled eagerly as he said, "No problem!"

He flew up but stopped when he hit a force-field, and Control Freak said, "This force-field will prevent you from going any higher."

Blue Beetle looked somewhat discouraged as the spaceships started shooting lasers down at him, which he dodged. Superboy looked like he was floating in space as he saw a bunch of giant comets flying toward him.

Control Freak evilly said, "Superboy, your challenge is Comets! To win you must destroy all of the comets coming toward you."

Superboy smiled overconfidently as he pounded his fist and said, "Piece of cake!"

Suddenly restraints made of pure energy appeared and restrained Superboy's arms to his sides as he struggled in vain.

He stopped when he heard Control Freak mockingly said, "These energy restraints will hinder your strength. Can you do it while all tied up?"

Wonder Girl was floating in the air while a bunch of giant missiles flew through the air in front of her, passing by on different paths. There were force-field barriers above and below her that prevented her from flying over them and she saw a building with five windows on the other side with fake people in them.

She looked around as Control Freak said, "And Wonder Girl, your game is Bomber. You must rescue all five of the people on the other side without being hit by a missile."

She smiled as she whirled her lasso until it suddenly vanished and Control Freak said, "Nice try! No lasso!"

Control Freak laughed evilly but the Titans West followed his rules as they tried to beat the challenges despite being hindered. Golden Eagle ran up the tilted platforms, smashed barrels with his mace, and jumping over bombs as he climbed up ladders to get higher up. Comets came hurtling at Superboy at high speed, and they were huge, so he swerved out of the way to avoid getting hit by them while his arms were restrained. Blue Beetle flew from side to side to avoid more lasers shot by the space ship and noticed they were getting closer and more were above them. Wonder Girl flew through the air and avoided getting hit by the missiles when she reached the building on the other side and grabbed one of the fake people. She desperately flew back and got the fake person to safety while avoiding being hit by more missiles that flew by. Miss Martian flew at highspeed as she tried to make her way through the maze and found two giant fireballs closing in on her, so she flew down a third passage. The H.I.V.E. Five watched all this as they pointed and laughed at the Titans West's expense while other people watched with worried expressions.

The screen showed Control Freak sitting in his chair at his computer as he addressed the audience and said, "Looks like these Titan wannabes might lose on the first level. The REAL Titans will be so disappointed."

He laughed evilly in his seat before the screen showed the Titans West in trouble again, but things started to change.

Superboy dodged one comet before his eyes glowed red and he fiercely said, "Okay, let's turn up the heat!"

He used his heat vision to destroy two comets and dodged two more that almost hit him before destroying them. Miss Martian reached one of the corners of her maze and pushed the big red button, turning a giant fireball near her into an ice cube. It started sliding away from her but she flew at it and smashed it to pieces with a proud smile before flying off. Golden Eagle climbed up another ladder and then swung his mace down and smashed one barrel before jumping over a bomb and smashing another barrel. Blue Beetle crafted plasma cannons over his hands as he fired them at the spaceships flying toward him and blew several of them up. Wonder Girl managed to rescue two more fake people before flying back to the building as she flew every which way to avoid the passing missiles. Miss Martian was about to be cornered by two giant fireballs in the maze but she reached another big red button and pushed it, turning them into giant ice cubes. They tried to slide away but she flew at one and smashed it before making her way to the other and smashing it as well. Blue Beetle blew up some more ships with his plasma cannons but then noticed two more that were flying much faster.

The Scarab beeped and Blue Beetle smiled as he said, "Good idea!"

The crests on his back then morphed into smaller plasma blasters that fired at the ships and destroyed them. Blue Beetle rapidly fired all four weapons and destroyed all the remaining spaceships, finally winning the game as he smiled proudly. Miss Martian flew through the maze with the last giant fireball closing in on her, but she made it to the button and pushed it.

The fireball turned into an ice cube as it came at her and she smashed it to pieces and said, "Happy to break the ice."

Wonder Girl only had one fake person left to save as she flew at the building with her eyes narrowed and dodged all the missiles. She grabbed the fake person and flew back to the others while avoiding the missiles and she put it down with them.

She floated in the air with a triumphant smile as she said, "Yeah! Now who's wonderful?!"

Superboy skillfully dodged the giant comets that came at him and then destroyed them with his heat vision. Some of them broke into smaller pieces but he destroyed them with his heat vision too until there were none left.

He smiled proudly as he boasted, "Ha! Good thing comets melt easy!"

Finally Golden Eagle reached the top platform as the giant gorilla rapidly rolled more and more barrels toward him. Golden Eagle smashed them with his mace but noticed they just kept coming and he wouldn't be able to reach the gorilla.

He then smiled as he got an idea and yelled, "Hey monkey! Catch!"

He threw his mace at the giant gorilla and hit it, causing it to vanish it a bright flash of energy while Golden Eagle's mace fell down. He jumped over the remaining barrels and walked over to grab his mace as he rested it on his shoulder.

He smiled proudly as he said, "I'm flightless, not fightless!"

All of the Titans West had completed their challenges as the people of Jump City happily cheered for them.

Suddenly the screen showed Control Freak, who was mildly annoyed before smiling deviously as he said, "Not bad Titans West, but that was just Level 1. Time to make things even harder!"

He then held up his videogame controller and pushed a button, causing each of the Titans West to vanish from their levels.

Commercial break

The Titans West were each teleported into five different arenas by themselves as they looked at their surroundings. Miss Martian was on what looked like a baron planet with a stary night sky above her and large rock formations around her. Superboy was standing a stone platform in a giant pool as he saw it went on for a few miles and there were dozens of other stone platforms around him, and there was a force-field high above him. Golden Eagle looked like he was inside a giant birdcage that had a ceiling that was fifty feet high with very thick bars. Blue Beetle looked like he was inside a giant bug jar surrounded by giant grass, and the lid of the jar was over fifty feet high. Wonder Girl looked like she was in the Roman Colosseum but it seemed to have a giant pixelated ceiling above it.

She smiled as she noticed she had her lasso back as she said, "Hey, my lasso!"

In the giant birdcage Golden Eagle noticed the clamp was off his wings and smiled as he said, "Looks like my wings are unclipped."

A split screen showed all five of the Titans West while Control Freak said, "Welcome to Level 2 Titans West! Here's where things start to get harder. I invited five special guest stars to appear on this level. In this level you will each face a villain that the REAL Titans have fought, and I have picked them myself."

Wonder Girl's opponent teleported in front of her while Control Freak yelled, "Wonder Girl vs Atlas!"

Atlas stared at her in a fighting stance while she glared at him and clinched her fists before flying at him yelling in fury.

In the giant birdcage Golden Eagle's opponent teleported inside before Control Freak yelled, "Golden Eagle vs Silver Swan!"

Silver Swan leered at Golden Eagle with her talons out while he held his mace up, and they both flew at each other. In Superboy's arena a white light flashed before his opponent jumped out of the water and landed on a stone platform in front of him.

He stood in front of Superboy while Control Freak yelled, "Superboy vs King Shark!"

King Shark smiled evilly at Superboy before jumping at him with his claws out as he roared viciously while Superboy leaned back.

Miss Martian's opponent was teleported in front of her before Control Freak yelled, "Miss Martian vs Sungirl!"

Sungirl leered at Miss Martian while fire burned in the palms of her hands next to her face before she shot flames at her.

Finally, in the giant bug jar, Blue Beetle's opponent was teleported in front of him, then Control Freak yelled, "Blue Beetle vs Killer Moth!"

Killer Moth held his cocoon gun in his left hand and his orange plasma whip in his right one, then he flew at Blue Beetle. Each Titan fought his or her opponent while everyone in the city watched with interest and excitement.

Control Freak appeared on the screens as he spoke to the audience, showed pictures of the villains and said, "I picked each villain specifically for each Titan. Killer Moth's smart and strong enough to beat Blue Beetle. Atlas once managed to beat Cyborg and capture the other Titans, so he should definitely be a match for Wonder Girl! King Shark has fought all of the REAL Titans AND the Titans East, so he should be more than good enough for Superboy! Sungirl and Silver Swan are kind of new but they've both fought the other Titans, I was one of the many villains they fought that day. Silver Swan fought Beast Boy so she should be able to take down Golden Eagle! And Sungirl fought Starfire, so she'll definitely beat Miss Martian!"

The screens then showed the fights between the Titans West and each of the five villains in the different arenas. Wonder Girl flew at Atlas and punched him in the face, making his head spin, but Atlas stopped it and blasted her with his right arm cannon. The laser blast hit her and she cried in pain as she was blasted out of the air, then Atlas jumped and grabbed her before slamming her into the ground.

He lifted her up and smiled evilly as he gloated, "No human can defeat Atlas!"

Wonder Girl then kicked him in the chest and made him release her as he stumbled back and crashed into a wall.

Wonder Girl smiled confidently as she said, "Then it's a good thing you're not the REAL Atlas, you're just a dumb machine."

Atlas glared at her as he gritted his teeth furiously and then ran at her while his arms spun vertically like wheels and he prepared to smash her with his fists. Meanwhile Killer Moth shot some globs of goo from his cocoon gun, but Blue Beetle flew and dodged them while he crafted a plasma cannon over his right hand. He fired it at Killer Moth, but he flew around and dodged every blast before lashing his plasma whip at Blue Beetle, knocking him down. Blue Beetle got up and saw Killer Moth flying at him but he quickly punched him and knocked him away before flying at him. Meanwhile King Shark had Superboy pinned down on a stone platform before Superboy flew up with King Shark holding onto him. He smashed his right fist down on his head and sent King Shark crashing down on one platform, but King Shark got back up and jumped at him. He punched him I the face and knocked Superboy through the air and sent him falling down as he splashed down in the water. He tried to get out but King Shark fell on him and grabbed him as he swam down to the bottom of the pool and tried to drown Superboy.

He had him pinned down as bubbles came out of Superboy's mouth and King Shark gloated, "Welcome to my world!"

Superboy managed to pry King Shark off of him and flew out of the water and floated above the surface as he took a deep breath of air. King Shark immediately jumped at him with his claws out as he roared ferociously as he prepared to attack him. Meanwhile Silver Swan flew at Golden Eagle and tried to slash her talons at him but he dodged them and swung his mace at her stomach. He knocked her back through the air but she recovered and used her sonic swan song on him and blasted him down to the floor. He groaned as he tried to get up but she flew and landed on him and took his mace and threw it away with an evil grin.

She prepared to slash her talons at him while she said, "Let's see how you do without your fancy mace!"

Before she could do anything he kicked her in her leg and knocked her down, then he got up and said, "You think I need that to fight?!"

She got back up and he made his talons come out of the back of his gauntlets and flew at her as he prepared to slash them. Sungirl launched flames at Miss Martian but she immediately took flight and avoided them, but then Sungirl flew into the air and pursued her. She shot a few fireballs from her hands but Miss Martian managed to dodge them before she flew at Sungirl and tried to punch her. Sungirl smiled evilly as launched another fireball. She hit Miss Martian and made her cry in pain as she stopped and floated in the air while cringing, then Sungirl shot a bunch of flames on her and hurt her again. Miss Martian crashed down to the ground before getting back up and glaring at Sungirl before growing an extra pair of arms. She flew at Sungirl and grabbed her with all four hands, but Sungirl smiled evilly as her whole body lit on fire and Miss Martian cried in pain as she let go and fell to the ground again.

She started to get up as she looked at Sungirl, who was still on fire as she gloated, "Looks like I'm too hot to handle."

She then shot flames from her hand but Miss Martian turned intangible and phased down through the ground and avoided her attack.

Sungirl then looked around as she said, "Where'd you go?"

Miss Martian rose out of the ground behind her and turned solid before stretching her right arm out and punching her from behind. Her body was still on fire so Miss Martian's hand got burned as she cried in pain and reeled her arm back in and returned it to its usual shape.

She held her hand in pain while Sungirl got up and looked at her with an irritated expression as she said, "Okay, no more playing!"

She held her hands out and launched more flames at Miss Martian with much rage and fury as she planned on destroying her. Across the city people were watching the fights on their TVs, many were scared and worried for the Titans West. The H.I.V.E. Five happily cheered for the villains while Control Freak watched in his lair with an evil smile on his face. Feeling overconfident, he looked away from his monitors and got out of his seat as he walked into another room. Wonder Girl yelled in fury as she flew at Atlas and tried to punch him, but he held his fists straight out to his sides. His upper body spun around at highspeed while his legs and head stayed in place, Wonder Girl came at him and one of his fists hit her and sent her crashing into the seats of the colosseum. She got up and watched as Atlas jumped high in the air and came falling toward her with his legs bent to the sides with his "toes" pointing down toward her. His lower body spun at highspeed like a drill as he came falling toward Wonder Girl but she quickly got out of the way and he crashed and formed a hole in the stands. He climbed out and jumped toward Wonder Girl but she slammed her bracelets together and caused a shockwave of divine energy that blasted Atlas back. He screamed as he crashed into the stands on the other side of the colosseum; he got up but his torso and upper arms were restrained by Wonder Girl's lasso. He looked and saw her floating in front of him as she glared daggers, she landed on the ground of the colosseum and turned around as she grunted in exertion. She whirled her lasso up and pulled Atlas high in the air before slamming him down on the ground in front of her, forming a small crater as Atlas' body smashed into it.

He was knocked out as Wonder Girl stood over him, smiling proudly as she said, "The REAL Atlas is a Titan, just like me."

In their home, Fixit and Spike saw everything on their TV as Fixit smiled and Spike cheered, "Yeah Wonder Girl! Take that Atlas!"

Blue Beetle was standing on the bottom of the giant bug jar as he rapidly fired his plasma cannons at Killer Moth, but he dodged them. He then fired his cocoon gun and trapped Blue Beetle in a green cocoon with his head, crests, and legs sticking out. He grunted as he struggled but could not break free, then Killer Moth landed next to him and smiled evilly as he prepared to lash his plasma whip on Blue Beetle. Blue Beetle stopped grunting as the crests on his back bent over his head and shot thin blue laser beams that cut the cocoon off of him.

Blue Beetle smiled at the Scarab as he said, "Thanks for the help."

He immediately stood up and crafted weapons over his hands with wide nozzles and he launched four staple-like projectiles at Killer Moth. The staple-like projectiles hit Killer Moth's ankles and wrists as they pinned him to the side of the jar, causing him to drop his weapons.

The H.I.V.E. Five watched with displeased expressions as Gizmo insulted, "Crud munching bug boy!"

Golden Eagle and Silver Swan were flying in the air as they clashed their talons against each other several times. Silver Swan clinched her right fist as she punched Golden Eagle and knocked him back as she smiled arrogantly. He recovered and retracted his talons into the backs of his gauntlets and then reached into his belt and pulled out a bomb and threw it at her. Silver Swan narrowed her eyes as she emitted a low-level humming sound that created a sonic shield around her, protecting her as the bomb blew up against it. She stopped humming and flew at Golden Eagle and tried to punch him again, but he dodged her and kicked her in the face.

She was knocked back but recovered as she hovered and glared at him while he taunted, "Nice humming, but your singing is terrible!"

He flew up toward the top of the giant birdcage while she angrily flew after him while yelling, "Oh?! Then listen to this high note!"

She emitted her sonic swan song as loud as she could, but Golden Eagle dodged the blast and instead it hit the huge thick bars at the top of the cage. Her sonic scream broke them off and sent them falling down as she stopped and screamed in fear; they fell on top of her and knocked her to the floor of the cage.

She was out cold as Golden Eagle landed beside her and victoriously said, "That's why the caged bird sings!"

People watching on jumbotrons happily cheered for him; Superboy was floating over the water as he used his X-Ray vision to try and find King Shark. He spotted him swimming toward the surface, so Superboy blew his super-breath at freezing temperature, freezing some of the water into ice with King Shark trapped inside. Superboy smiled proudly, but then the ice shattered as King Shark broke free then jumped at him and grabbed him as he pinned him down on a stone platform.

He smiled evilly as he gloated, "Cool trick but being cold blooded doesn't slow me down!"

He then bit Superboy's arm, making him cry in pain before punching him with his other fist and knocking out a few of his teeth. King Shark then jumped back in the water and dived down while Superboy floated in the air and searched for him.

He couldn't find him but then a lightbulb appeared over his head and he smiled slyly as he said, "Fishface, you're about to be in hot water!"

His eyes glowed red and then he used his heat vision on the water; he moved around while his gaze traveled to different parts of the pool. He kept shooting his heat vision at the surface of the water as all of the water in the pool started to boil, it bubbled and steamed like a giant pot.

Superboy stopped and floated in the air with a smug grin on his face as he said, "3, 2, 1."

King Shark immediately jumped out of the water as he screamed, "Hot! Hot! Hot!"

He landed on a stone platform and was light on his feet as looked down at himself in pain, then Superboy flew at him and punched him in the face. He launched King Shark straight up in the air as he hit the fore-field over the arena, he screamed in pain before he fell back down. Superboy quickly flew over King Shark and slammed both of his fists down on top of him and sent him crashing down on top of one of the stone platforms. King Shark was unconscious as Superboy smiled proudly and everyone watched cheered for him, Terra's friends smiled adoringly with their hands together as they had hearts for eyes. Miss Martian kept flying and dodging fireballs that Sungirl launched at her as she chased her through the air. Miss Martian turned around and turned into a flying white monster with no legs, a long snake-like tail, sharp claws on her fingers, sharp teeth, and bright orange eyes. She wrapped her tail around Sungirl and prepared to attack her but Sungirl's body lit on fire and shot a bunch of it in every direction. Miss Martian fell off of her and reverted to her usual form as she groaned in pain as she fell to the ground. She got back up and flew again when Sungirl flew at her at highspeed, but Miss Martian turned invisible and escaped. Sungirl hovered in the air with her fists on fire as she glanced around for any sign of Miss Martian but couldn't find her. She started crying in pain and jerked around as she was repeatedly hit by an invisible Miss Martian, she swung her flaming fists at the air but couldn't hit Miss Martian. She was hit again and then Sungirl was furious as she released a giant fireball from her whole body that expanded dozens of feet in every direction. Miss Martian was hit by this giant growing fireball as she turned visible and cried in pain as she fell to the ground.

The fire dissipated as Sungirl smiled sadistically as she hovered in front of Miss Martian and said, "Your shapeshifting, phasing, and invisibility are no match for my firepower!"

Miss Martian then stood up and glared at Sungirl as she said, "But I still have brainpower!"

She kept glaring as her eyes glowed orange and she used her telepathy to brain blast Sungirl, who held her head as she cried in pain. She got on her knees while Miss Martian stood over her, and Sungirl kept crying in pain while holding her head. Miss Martian then used her telepathy to put Sungirl to sleep as her arms fell limply at her sides and she fell on her front and lost consciousness.

Miss Martian's eyes stopped glowing orange as she smiled proudly and said, "Mind over matter."

The people happily cheered for her and Terra smiled as she said, "She's awesome!"

All the TVs then showed Control Freak's lair, but they only saw his empty chair and the keyboard of his computer.

Suddenly a toilet flush was heard and Control Freak walked in zipping up his pants as he asked, "So, they lose yet?"

He looked at the monitors and saw all of the Titans West standing by the villains they had defeated with smug grins.

He put his hands on his keyboard as he stared in shock, then sheepishly realized he was on camera before recomposing himself while he said, "What?! They won?! Oh, hi. Ahem! Well done Titans West, you've completed level two, but there's still more to do!"

He picked up his videogame controller and teleported them all together into a small cubicle room with two large mechanical doors in front of them.

When they saw they were together Miss Martian happily said, "Guys, you're okay!"

Golden Eagle looked tense as he complained, "Barely, I'm getting tired of this game!"

Blue Beetle agreed as he pointed his right thumb at the Scarab and said, "Tell me about it! Killer Moth's plasma whip gave the Scarab's systems a shock!"

Superboy had his fists on his sides with an annoyed expression as he said, "Control Freak's starting to get on my nerves! I want out of this game!"

Miss Martian spoke urgently as she said, "The only way to out is with his controller."

Wonder Girl looked at her as she curiously asked, "So how do we get it from him?"

Golden Eagle spoke seriously as he said, "We don't! Control Freak's just going to keep playing with us until we beat him at his own game."

Miss Martian agreed as she said, "Golden Eagle's right. He's probably watching us right now."

Suddenly the doors opened up and they looked out as they heard Control Freak say, "Correct Miss Martian! I have reunited you all because I now wish to test your abilities as a team. The REAL Titans are great at it, now let's see how good you are! I have created an army of various monsters and villains for you to battle together! Prepare to meet your match!"

The Titans West looked out to see what looked like a giant field, but they saw thousands of different monsters and machines. There were giant plasma screen TVs that had cables coming out of the back like tentacles with static on the screens with red eyes and mouths. There were also flying cash registers, living movie shelves, monstrous drop-boxes, and living tapes with tendrils made of film. There were also a bunch of large robots with big mechanical pincer claws, like the H.I.V.E. used to battle during training. There were also many probes flying through the air that looked like the ones the Centauri Police sent that attacked Starfire. There was also the monster from "Wicked Scary", the Creature from Jones Lake, 7-Gorn-7, and the Off-World Outlaw.

The army charged at them as Miss Martian yelled, "Titans go!"

The Titans West took flight and attacked the army as they let out epic cries of battle and started destroying them. Superboy smashed several monstrous movie shelves and drop boxes with his fists before flying in the air and shooting his heat vision at a few flying cash registers. Blue Beetle formed maces over his hands and smashed a few drop-box monsters with them, then some tape monsters came behind him. They shot film at him but the Scarab stretched long tendrils out that lashed at the films and knocked them away before hitting the tape monsters. Blue Beetle smiled as the Scarab retracted the tendrils, then his translucent wings extended out and he took flight. A blue aura surrounded Miss Martian's body as she made herself indestructible and flew through a crowd of the monsters with her fists out and smashed them all. Wonder Girl flew through the air as she lashed her lasso like a whip and destroyed some flying cash registers and probes. Golden Eagle flew high in the air and knocked away a couple of flying registers with his wings, then he extended the talons from the backs of his gauntlets and cut up a probe that came at him. Superboy flew down to the ground and destroyed one of the big robots as he smashed it with his feet and floated in the air with a smug grin. Suddenly he was zapped by a cable from one of the TVs and knocked to the ground and he was surrounded by a bunch of others as they wrapped their cables around him and shocked him.

Blue Beetle fired his plasma cannons and them up as he landed by Superboy, who said, "Thanks."

They looked and saw more TVs, movie shelves, drop-boxes, and some robots marching toward them together.

The Scarab beeped and then Blue Beetle looked at Superboy and said, "The Scarab thinks we should do the Hot Plasma."

Superboy smiled eagerly as he said, "Sounds good to me!"

Blue Beetle then crafted a plasma blaster on his chest while Superboy's eyes glowed red and they both prepared to fire. Blue Beetle fired a powerful plasma ray while Superboy shot his heat vision, and they mixed together to form a powerful blue and red ray that destroyed all the monsters and robots they aimed at. They smiled at each other before separating; Wonder Girl smashed one robot with fist before she was hit by a white blast another robot shot from its eye. She cried in pain but got up and found herself surrounded dozens of the robots as they closed in on her.

Miss Martian landed next to her and said, "Wonder Girl! Tetherball!"

Wonder Girl smiled as she lassoed Miss Martian's waist, then Miss Martian morphed into a green ankylosaur-like creature and curled into a ball. Wonder Girl floated in the air as she held her lasso over her head and whirled Miss Martian around, making her look like a giant tetherball. Miss Martian crashed into all of the robots and smashed them to bits and Wonder Girl kept whirling her around while she flew forward and Miss Martian crashed into more robots and monsters. She stopped whirling Miss Martian around and Miss Martian returned to her usual form before she flew out and smashed a few tape monsters. A few probes flew at Golden Eagle but he swung his mace at it as energy surged from the spikes and knocked them away. He smashed a few flying cash registers when he was joined by Blue Beetle, who crafted scythe-like blades over his hands and cut up a few registers. He and Golden Eagle then saw a bunch of probes and registers flying toward them in sort of a giant swarm.

Golden Eagle looked at Blue Beetle as he said, "Blue Boom?"

Blue Beetle smiled eagerly as the blade over his right hand turned into a plasma cannon, then Golden Eagle smiled as he pulled out a bomb. He threw it at all the registers and probes, then Blue Beetle shot his plasma cannon at the bomb, creating a huge explosion that destroyed all probes and registers in the area. Blue Beetle and Golden Eagle smiled at each other before they separated and went on to fight more monsters and robots. Superboy flew down and destroyed several robots with his fists, then he grabbed one, lifted it in the air, and threw it at a few more, blowing them up. One probe wrapped its tentacles around Miss Martian, but she phased out of its grip before turning solid and punching it away. Blue Beetle then joined her and hovered next to her as they saw more and more registers and probes flying toward them.

Blue Beetle looked at Miss Martian and said, "You know what I'm thinking?"

She smiled slyly at him as she said, "I'm a telepath, and I do think Arms and Legs is a great idea."

She grew four extra arms while Blue Beetle's crests moved and two mechanical beetle legs stretched out from his sides. Miss Martian's two bottom arms grabbed Blue Beetles regular arms and they both flew at the probes and registers using their combo move Arms and Legs. Blue Beetle's mechanical limbs extended out while Miss Martian's held out her four other arms with fists clinched. They held on tight to each other and spun through the air and destroyed all probes and registers that flew at them. They stopped and let go of each other as they smiled before flying off to fight the other monsters and robots. The Creature from Jones Lake's dorsal fin glowed white as it shot a white ray from its mouth and blasted Superboy. He recovered and flew at it as fast as he could with his fists out and rammed it and sent it flying away. Golden Eagle flew to the Off-World Outlaw as he fired his laser pistols, but Golden Eagle blocked them with his mace before swinging it and knocking him away. Blue Beetle hovered in front of 7-GORN-7 and dodged his lasers before crafting plasma cannons over his arms while the crests on his backs turned into plasma blasters. He rapidly fired dozens of blue plasma blasts that destroyed 7-GORN-7 as he smiled triumphantly while the Scarab beeped. Miss Martian floated in front of the Wicked Scary Monster as she glared at it and it roared as it lashed its tentacles at her. Her body became translucent as the tentacles harmlessly passed through her, then she turned solid and morphed into a monster as well. She morphed into a tall white monster that had tentacles instead of legs, four long arms, razor-sharp claws on the fingers, and a horrible face with long hair, horns, and sharp teeth. Miss Martian roared as she lunged at the Wicked Scary Monster and wrestled it to the ground while it fought back. They both tumbled offscreen as the Wicked Scary Monster roared in agony, then Miss Martian emerged victorious and turned to her usual form with a smile.

Wonder Girl was surrounded by rest of Control Freak's army as she yelled, "Eagle! Maces and Bracelets!"

Golden Eagle smiled at her as he threw his mace toward her as it glowed with its energy, and when it came in front of her she slammed her bracelets together on it from the sides. The impact an enormous shockwave of divine energy and the mace's energy, that destroyed all of the monsters and robots around Wonder Girl. When it was finished there was none left and the entire army had finally been defeated as the viewers cheered in excitement.

Control Freak appeared on screen with a vexed expression before smiling evilly as he said, "Combo moves huh? Big deal, the REAL Titans would've stopped them in half the time! Not to worry there's still plenty more gaming to do."

He held his controller and pushed a button that teleported the Titans West into their next level immediately. A Japanese song played in the background as the Titans West worked hard to try and beat Control Freak's game. They fought for hours as they passed through several levels in different environments and performed many videogame-related tasks. They had to find their way through a castle with a bunch of doors and figure out which door would get them out. Afterwards Golden Eagle's mace was put inside a container and he had to solve a puzzle to unlock it, which he did. Superboy was put in a virtual city where he had to fight a giant lizard monster that was holding onto a skyscraper. Blue Beetle was put in a creepy cemetery where he had to fight a bunch of zombies, but he easily destroyed them with his plasma cannons. Miss Martian was put in a volcano where she had to fly around and avoid getting burned by molten lava. Wonder Girl was placed on a horse in the old west where she used her lasso to wrangle virtual cows and coral them, which made her smile.

The Titans West were all placed in what looked like a giant tennis court and caught in the middle of a giant game of pong as they avoided the ball as it bounced back and forth. Superboy was placed in an old fighting game where he had to fight a superpowered karate man who blasted him with a ball of energy. Superboy got back up and punched him and knocked the guy out and then "KO" appeared on the screen as he smiled victoriously. Wonder Girl was placed in a dancing game where she happily danced to the music while looking beautiful and elegant. Golden Eagle was put in a war game when he was surrounded by shoulders who shot at him, but he wrapped his mechanical wings around himself to serve as a shield. They stopped shooting and he threw some bombs out that blew up and made the virtual soldiers disappear in white flashes of light. Blue Beetle was put in a futuristic arena with fog everywhere as he played what appeared to be an extreme version of laser tag. He hit behind walls and used his right plasma cannon to destroy the enemies who shot lasers at him and made short work of them. Miss Martian was transported into a jungle at nighttime when she glanced around, then a red T-Rex stomped in front of her and roared at her. She then morphed into a white theropod dinosaur that was bigger with larger hands and opposable thumbs with sharp claws. She roared as she fought the virtual T-Rex and as it bit her neck, but she scratched it with her claws and pulled it off of her.

Control Freak was in the chat room with his internet friends as his picture appeared and he said, "I don't believe it! The Titans West have beaten every challenge I've thrown at them so far! They've beaten almost every level!"

The picture of the short-haired teen was shown as he said, "I could've picked better levels and better bad guys for them to fight."

The girl's picture was shown as she said, "Yeah, Adonis is WAY tougher than Atlas."

The picture of the bearded guy in the duck suit came onscreen as he said, "Maybe your videogame isn't as good as you said."

The kid's picture came up as he said, "Even if they win I still don't think they're as cool as the other Titans."

Control Freak smiled evilly as he placed his fingertips together and said, "Well, there's still one level left, so I guess it's time for the moment of truth."

Commercial break

The Titans West were teleported onto an empty street and they looked around and saw that it was nighttime and they were in Jump City.

They were amazed as Superboy excitedly said, "Is this real?! Are we back?!"

Golden Eagle smiled as he said, "Yeah, I think so!"

Wonder Girl smiled happily as she exclaimed, "Then we did it! Yes!"

The Scarab beeped and Blue Beetle was troubled as he said, "The Scarab says this isn't real. We're not in town."

The others looked nervous as Superboy said, "What? But it looks real."

Miss Martian looked up and pointed at the sky while she said, "No, the Scarab's right guys. Look."

They all looked up at the sky and complained and cried in disappointment as they saw giant glowing grid lines in the sky.

Superboy cried in despair, "No!"

Wonder Girl was stressed as she said, "Come on!"

Miss Martian was disappointed as she looked at her team and said, "We're still in the game."

They were all startled when they heard Control Freak's voice and saw him walking toward them as he said, "That's right! Do you like it? I wanted to make it seem more real so I made it look exactly like the city."

They all glared at him as Golden Eagle said, "Control Freak!"

Control Freak smiled maniacally as he held his arms out before putting his wrists on his sides while saying, "That's right! Welcome, Titans West, to the final level! I have to admit I'm impressed. I didn't think you wannabes would make it this far."

Miss Martian pointed at Control Freak as she demanded, "We've beaten all your challenges! Now give us your controller!"

Control Freak smiled evilly as he held his videogame controller in his hand and said, "Come on Miss Martian, you know I'm not going to just hand it over, where's the fun in that? If you want my controller you'll have to take it. This is the boss level. If you can defeat me you'll win your freedom and proven that you truly are Titans."

Superboy smiled prematurely as he pointed at Control Freak and pounded his fist while saying, "We just have to beat you?! This is gonna be easy!"

Control Freak smiled maniacally as he clutched his controller and said, "Come, come now Superboy. You know the last level of the game is always the hardest."

He pushed a button and then everything started shaking as the Titans West struggled to stay on their feet, then Control Freak flew up in the sky on a platform. A white light flashed and the Titans West gaped in shock and fear as they saw a giant robot standing in front of them, with Control Freak inside the head. The robot stood at over a hundred feet tall and was heavily armored with a large bulky body and a humanoid stature. It had a red and black color scheme similar to those of Control Freak's remotes and videogame controller. It also had huge legs with colossal feet, a large torso with a big red dot in the center of the chest and broad shoulders. The arms of the robot were huge and muscular with human hands, and the forearms were large and heavily armored. The robot's head was well proportioned with the rest of its body and it had a face that looked like that of Control Freak's TV remote.

The Titans West had their mouths agape as the giant robot towered over them and Blue Beetle said, "I think we have a BIG problem!"

Inside the head of the robot, Control Freak smiled eagerly as he held his controller and said, "Chicks dig giant robots."

In the real world it was also nighttime as everyone in Jump City was watching with worried expressions, except the H.I.V.E. Five who had evil smiles of delight.

The TVs showed Control Freak inside the head of the robot as he dramatically said, "Welcome viewers to the final level of Titanic Battles! For their final challenge the Titans West must beat the boss and save the city from me, Control Freak!"

He laughed maniacally as he sat in his seat and pushed a button on his videogame controller while moving an analogue stick. His giant robot then tried to stomp on the Titans West with its right foot, but the Titans West quickly scattered and avoided it.

Miss Martian looked up at the robot as she pointed her finger and fiercely yelled, "Titans, beat that boss!"

The Titans West all took flight as they attacked the giant robot as Wonder Girl and Superboy yelled in fury. They both flew toward the robot's head and both punched it in the face with all their strength, they made it stumble backwards before it regained its footing.

Control Freak smiled evilly as he said, "Bye bye little gnats."

He pushed a couple buttons on his videogame controller and made the robot swat away Superboy and Wonder Girl like flies. They both went flying through the air before crashing into the sides of virtual buildings as they screamed in pain. Blue Beetle flew around the robot's upper body as he rapidly fired his plasma cannons at different areas, but his blasts did not any damage.

He kept flying and shooting while the Scarab beeped and he tensely said, "Yeah! I can see our shots aren't doing anything!"

The robot looked down at them and Control Freak smiled evilly as he said, "Let me show you some real weapons!"

He pushed some buttons and moved the analog sticks on his controller as he made two large fusion cannons come out of the backs of his robot's forearms. Blue Beetle gaped in fear as the robot aimed its fusion cannons at him and he immediately flew for cover as it fired two fusion blasts at him, but he dodged them. The robot retracted the fusion cannons and then Golden Eagle flew toward the robot's face and swung his energy mace at it but it did not do any damage. Two small missile launchers then came out of the shoulders and launched missiles at him, but Golden Eagle flew away and avoided the missiles as they followed him. He made sharp turns through the virtual buildings and the missiles blew up against them before Golden Eagle escaped them all.

Miss Martian flew toward the robot with her fists out as she forcefully exclaimed, "I'll phase through and take down Control Freak!"

She kept flying toward the robot's head, inside Control Freak smiled deviously and said, "Get ready to crash and burn!"

He pushed a button on his controller and flames shot out of the robots mouth and burned Miss Martian as she screamed in pain. She then fell down to the ground and cried in pain; Control Freak laughed maniacally while the robot prepared to stomp on her. Suddenly the robot was hit by a sonic blast and it looked and saw Blue Beetle with a sonic cannon over his left hand. He fired it again and made the robot lose balance and prevented it from stomping on Miss Martian before it stood on both legs.

Control Freak glared at him as he seriously said, "You may have a sonic cannon, but you're still no Cyborg!"

The robot swung its backhand at Blue Beetle and knocked him away as he screamed in pain before Wonder Girl flew at its face. She slammed her bracelets together and caused a shockwave of white divine energy that knocked the robot over and made it fall on its back.

Wonder Girl was pleasantly surprised as she smiled and said, "Big things come in small packages."

Control Freak was mildly annoyed as he made the robot get back up and punch Wonder Girl, sending her flying away. Superboy flew at the robot and used his heat vision on its torso but he barely even scratched its durable armor. The robot then grabbed Superboy in its left hand and squeezed him as he grunted in pain and exertion as he tried to break free. The grip was too strong, but Control Freak pressed two buttons and made the robot throw Superboy away. He was sent crashing through two virtual buildings while Miss Martian got up and watched with shock and then glared up at the robot. She closed her eyes and grunted as she focused her powers and used her shapeshifting to grow as big as the robot.

She then glared at the robot and forcefully said, "Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!"

All of the people watching were amazed as they raised their fists and cheered while Control Freak was surprised.

He then smiled excitedly and said, "This should be fun!"

Miss Martian tried to punch the robot but it blocked her fist and then punched her in the face and knocked her back. It ran at her and punched her again and knocked her into a skyscraper and knocked it down as she let out a small cry of pain. She then kicked the robot in the chest and knocked it back, then she grabbed its shoulders and stomped her feet as she forced it back through the street. The rest of the Titans West watched as they floated and hovered in the air nearby, then the robot finally stopped and pried Miss Martian's hands off its shoulders. Miss Martian was shocked when the giant robot suddenly grabbed her and lifted her over its head and threw her into a building, destroying it. She got back up and angrily ran at the robot but it jumped and kicked her in the face and knocked her down, then it climbed up a nearby skyscraper. Miss Martian looked at the robot on top of the skyscraper as it jumped off and body slammed her, leveling all the nearby buildings and causing a small earthquake. The robot got up and looked down at Miss Martian as she cracked her eyes open and looked up at it.

Control Freak smiled sadistically as he said, "Nice try Miss Martian, but I watch giant robot and monster fights all the time on TV, and I'm a master of fighting games!"

Miss Martian then passed out and shrunk down to her regular size while the robot tried to stomp on her, but Superboy flew down and picked Miss Martian up. He carried her to safety as they dodged the giant robot's foot and Superboy flew to a rooftop while Blue Beetle, Wonder Girl, and Golden Eagle flew in front of the robot. Golden Eagle threw a bomb at the robot's face but it didn't even scratch it, prompting Golden Eagle to fly away.

Wonder Girl looked at Blue Beetle as she said, "Blue! God Blast!"

Blue Beetle was shocked but then nodded as Wonder Girl put her wrists together in an X-formation with her bracelets touching each other. Blue Beetle crafted a plasma cannon over his right hand and blasted it at Wonder Girl's bracelets while she stayed in place. Wonder Girl's bracelets not only deflected the plasma blast but made it even bigger and sent it flying at Control Freak's robots. The huge plasma blast hit the robot in the face and made it stumble back as it caused a huge explosion at the face.

Control Freak was impressed as he said, "Didn't know you could do that. Too bad it won't help."

The red dot on his robot's chest glowed and Wonder Girl and Blue Beetle flew away when he fired a powerful red disintegrator ray at them. He kept firing the powerful ray as he turned the robot and tried to hit the two heroes and the ray disintegrated parts of buildings that it hit. Superboy rested Miss Martian down on a rooftop before flying off to help Wonder Girl and Blue Beetle. The robot was still firing the disintegrator cannon in its chest as it destroyed more virtual buildings until Superboy flew at it and punched it in the back of the head. He made the robot stumble as it deactivated the chest cannon and turned to Superboy, who then flew a few thousand feet in the air.

He smiled teasingly as he cupped his mouth and yelled, "Hey Iron Giant! Try and get me up here!"

Control Freak smiled deviously as he pushed a button on his videogame controller and ignited thrusters in the giant robot's back. The robot then flew toward Superboy, who gaped in shock before the robot punched him and sent him flying through the air. He recovered and gritted his teeth as he flew at the robot with its fists out, but then it shot powerful laser beams from its eyes. The lasers hit Superboy and sent him crashing to the street as he groaned in pain and opened his eyes, he then saw the giant robot coming down toward him. It landed on its feet and almost stomped on Superboy but he flew out of the way and floated high in the air far from it.

Golden Eagle joined him and hovered next to him as he urgently exclaimed, "Superboy! Breath Bomb!"

Superboy nodded, then Golden Eagle reached into his utility belt and pulled out six bombs, which he then threw out. Superboy quickly used his super breath, at normal temperature, and he blew all of the bombs away and made them all hit Control Freak's robot at the same time. They blew up simultaneously and made the robot stumble backwards but there was still no visible damage. The robot then shot the laser beams from its eyes and they both dodged them while Superboy started to get angry as he glared at the robot.

He then looked at Golden Eagle's mace and held his left hand toward him as he asked, "Can I borrow that?"

Golden Eagle tossed Superboy his mace and Superboy flew at the giant robot as he held the mace back and yelled in fury. He flew at the robot's face and swung the mace at its face and made it stumble back again, unfortunately it didn't do much damage.

Control Freak smiled with an amused expression as he said, "Combining your powers, clever but not clever enough!"

The robot swung its right backhand and swatted Superboy away, causing him to drop the mace as he screamed in distress. Golden Eagle reclaimed his mace and hovered while Superboy floated and they both watched as the robot held up its left arm and activated the fusion cannon in the back of its forearm. They split up and avoided the fusion blasts the robot fired at them but Golden Eagle wasn't as fast and showed fear as he narrowly dodged them. A blast was about to hit him when Miss Martian flew by, grabbed him, and got him to safety on a rooftop.

He looked at her and gratefully said, "Thanks for the save Martian."

She nodded at him before flying to Superboy as she ordered, "Superboy! Super Martian!"

He nodded in agreement as Miss Martian made herself indestructible as a blue aura surrounded her body. Superboy grabbed her and threw her at the giant robot with all his superstrength and she held her fists out as she came flying toward the robot's chest and rammed it. She hit it so hard she knocked the giant robot over as it fell on its back while Miss Martian floated in the air with Superboy behind her. Her blue aura vanished as she and Superboy smiled happily, but their joy was short-lived as the giant robot got back up.

Control Freak smiled maniacally as he said, "You two hit hard, I can take a hit!"

The robot then breathed fire at Miss Martian, who retreated as she flew away with Superboy while all the fire followed them. The giant robot kept breathing fire until Wonder Girl flew behind its head and lassoed its mouth; she grunted in exertion as she pulled back with all her strength. She managed to make the robot jerk back for a moment but then it swung its left arm behind its head and knocked Wonder Girl away as her lasso came off its head.

She floated in the air when Superboy joined her and yelled, "Wonder! Lasso Limbo!"

She smiled as she tossed the end of her lasso out and lassoed Superboy's wrist while he grabbed part of it with both hands. She held on tight to her end of the lasso as they both flew apart and stretched it out to great length, approximately the width of the robot. They both flew at the robot together with the lasso straightened out and hit the robot while Superboy and Wonder Girl kept flying forward. They managed to use the lasso to knock the robot down as it hit the torso and made it fall to the street, destroying a few nearby buildings.

Superboy and Wonder Girl stopped flying and floated in the air as Wonder Girl smiled and said, "How low can you go?!"

The giant robot got back up and Control Freak smiled as he pushed a button on his controller and launched missiles at them again. They both dodged the missiles when Blue Beetle flew and landed on a rooftop next to the giant robot and held his arms straight out. An object sprouted from chest of his suit and crafted a huge weapon over his arms, forming a giant ion cannon. He blasted the ion cannon at the robot's head and caused an explosion made the robot stumble to the side and crashed into a building.

Blue Beetle smiled triumphantly but the robot got back up and looked at him as Control Freak said, "Mine are bigger than yours!"

The robot held its right arm up at him and activated its fusion cannon, Blue Beetle immediately deactivated his ion cannon and activated his wings as he took flight, dodging the fusion blast. Wonder Girl angrily flew at the robot, but Control Freak performed a combo on his controller and made small blasters come out of the top of the robot's chest. They rapidly fired laser blasts at Wonder Girl, but she started deflecting them with her bracelets as she moved her arms around. However they fired two many blasts simultaneously and she was bombarded with several laser blasts that hit her and caused her to cry in pain. Miss Martian immediately flew to help her as she morphed into a giant flying serpent and wrapped her body around the robot's head. The robot breathed its fire and burned Miss Martian's body, forcing her off of it and causing her to revert to her usual form as she groaned in pain. She floated in the air as the robot stared at her, then she turned invisible and vanished as she escaped.

Control Freak smiled deviously as he said, "Nice try! But you can't get the jump on me that easily!"

He performed another combo on his videogame controller and then the giant robot breathed fire while its head spun around at highspeed. The robot also ignited the jet thrusters on its back and flew, it created a tornado of fire around its body. Miss Martian was hit by the fire as she turned visible and flew away while crying in pain. The tornado of fire dissipated as the robot landed and stopped breathing fire while its head stared forward.

Miss Martian quickly flew over to Superboy and Wonder Girl as she ordered, "Superboy, Wonder Girl, give me a hand!"

They followed her as they all flew under a virtual five-story office building and used their combined strength to lift it off the ground as they grunted in exertion. They took flight and lifted the office building high in the air as they slowly floated toward the giant robot.

Control Freak watched with interest as he said, "Strength in numbers, nicely done."

The three young heroes grunted and groaned as they cringed while Miss Martian said, "1, 2, 3!"

They used all their combined strength to throw the office building at the giant robot, but it fired the disintegrator cannon in its chest and destroyed the building with its ray.

Rubble went everywhere and landed all over the street while Control Freak gloated, "I can take anything you throw at me!"

The robot then fired the laser beams from its eyes, prompting Superboy and Wonder Girl to fly away and avoid them. Miss Martian remained as she stretched her body and limbs out like they were elastic and dodged the two laser beams. She flew around before returning to her usual shape as she floated in front of the robot, but then it breathed fire at her again. She then retreated as she flew around the robot, the robot turned around and watched her as the Titans West regrouped in the air and floated and hovered in front of it.

Control Freak smiled arrogantly as he maniacally gloated, "Game over Titans West! My robot is designed with weapons and countermeasures for each and everyone of you! You can't defeat me!"

He then fired the disintegrator cannon in the robot's chest and fired the red ray at the Titans West, but they quickly avoided it and retreated. He moved the robot around as the ray destroyed parts of virtual buildings as it hit them before it finally stopped. The people of Jump City watched in fear while the H.I.V.E. Five watched with evil smiles as they all clinched their fists.

The robot stomped through the virtual city as it searched for them while Control Freak evilly said, "Come out Titans West! You can't hide forever!"

The Titans West were on a rooftop hiding behind a larger building while Control Freak continued to search for him.

The Scarab beeped and Superboy asked, "What'd that thing say?"

Blue Beetle showed despair as he said, "It said Control Freak's right, we can't stop his robot."

Wonder Girl also looked nervous as she said, "I hate to admit it but I think it's right."

Miss Martian was persistent as she bravely said, "No! We can't give up! Beast Boy asked us to protect the city! We can't give up and let Control Freak win!"

Superboy held his right palm up as he asked, "But how can we beat him?"

Golden Eagle agreed as he said, "Yeah! His robot's designed with stuff to beat each of our powers and weapons!"

Miss Martian held her chin as she looked to the side in thought, then she smiled slyly and said, "Maybe we can make him use them on the wrong Titan."

The robot was still searching for them as Control Freak suspiciously said, "Where are you?"

Suddenly he saw Superboy fly and float in the air hundreds of feet in front of him as he angrily yelled, "Hey couch potato! Show me what you got!"

Control Freak smiled arrogantly as he said, "Boy, Superboy sure is super stupid."

He pushed a couple buttons on his controller and launched missiles from the robot's shoulders as they all flew toward him. Superboy kept floating in the air and didn't budge as the missiles came at him and converged before exploding, but Superboy flew from the explosion with his fists straight out.

Control Freak kept smiling arrogantly as he said, "A bit tougher than I thought, but I built this robot to be tough enough to take a hit from you! Give me your best shot!"

The robot stepped forward and braced itself as it prepared for Superboy to hit it while he flew at the robot's chest. However, something unexpected happened, instead of hitting the robot Superboy suddenly phased through the robot's chest and flew inside it.

Control Freak was baffled and frightened as he exclaimed, "What?! How did he do that?!"

Suddenly his giant robot started jerking around and explosions occurred in its chest as Superboy started destroying it from the inside. Control Freak started to panic as sparks of electricity surged inside the head of his giant robot and he tried to make it do stuff but it wasn't responding. The giant robot started malfunctioning as explosions erupted from different areas of its body, mostly the torso. The robot stumbled backwards before losing its balance and falling on its back as Control Freak screamed in terror. The robot lost power and Superboy flew out of the chest and hovered over the head where Control Freak could see him.

Superboy then shapeshifted and was revealed to really be Miss Martian, who smiled teasingly as she said, "Gotcha!"

Control Freak was speechless as his jaw dropped and he said, "She tricked me!"

Miss Martian was joined by the rest of the Titans West, including the real Superboy, who said, "Nice job boss."

Across the city, people saw everything on the TVs as they threw their arms in the air and happily cheered for the young heroes.

Terra and her friends were still at the pizza place as Terra stood up and cheered, "Titans West! Titans West!"

In their lair, Fixit and Spike both smiled as Fixit said, "Clever."

Spike happily cheered, "Yeah! Way to go Titans West!"

The H.I.V.E. Five were displeased as they sneered their TV while Gizmo sarcastically said, "Nice going Control Geek!"

Billy Numerous then changed the channel with the remote as he said, "What else is on?"

Control Freak was still in the head of his robot as he went on his computer and typed in his chatroom and said, "She shapeshifted into Superboy to trick me! Amazing!"

The picture of the bearded guy in the duck suit was shown as he said, "I didn't know she could turn into other people!"

The photo of the black-haired teen appeared as he said, "You undersold these guys! The Titans West are awesome!"

The picture of the kid appeared as he said, "Miss Martian and Superboy forever!"

The girl's photo came onscreen as she said, "No way! Superboy should be with Wonder Girl!"

Control Freak stopped typing when he heard the sound of metal being ripped open and he watched as Superboy and Wonder Girl ripped a hole in the head of his robot. All of the Titans West were looking down at Control Freak as they floated and hovered inside the hole with victorious smiles.

Control Freak had a huge smile as he geeked out and said, "You guys were amazing! You actually beat me! I never thought you could actually do it!"

Miss Martian smiled with an amused expression as she said, "Glad you liked it, but fun's over."

She stretched her left arm out toward him and took his videogame controller from it and used it to teleport all six of them out of the game. They reappeared in the city where everyone cheered for them, which Superboy enjoyed as he smiled proudly. They handed Control Freak to the police, along with Atlas, Silver Swan, King Shark, Killer Moth, and Sungirl.

As the police took them away, Control Freak smiled back at the Titans West and said, "Well done Titans West, you've proven your worth, and now you've gained a powerful new enemy! We'll meet again!"

Sungirl glared at Miss Martian as she angrily said, "And I want a rematch Martian!"

King Shark glared at Superboy and angrily yelled, "Yeah, same her Superboy!"

Atlas turned his head and glared at Wonder Girl as he said, "Atlas will defeat you one day Wonder Girl!"

Wonder Girl smiled happily as she joked, "Well I'll wait for the REAL Atas to show up."

Superboy smiled as he snidely said, "Yeah, we'll see you guys another day. Until then, have fun in jail."

Miss Martian pulled out her Communicator as she got a call from Beast Boy, who smiled and said, "Hey dudes, we heard Control Freak released a new videogame with you guys as the stars."

Miss Martian smiled as she said, "Yeah, we beat his game and kicked his butt."

Beast Boy smiled on the Communicator's screen as he said, "Cool! I wish I could've seen it!"

Miss Martian looked around at the crowd of people around them and smiled as she said, "I'm sure some people probably recorded it on TV. You can probably watch it when you get back."

Beast Boy smiled happily while showing faith and confidence as he said, "Sweet! Can't wait! In the meantime you guys will keep things safe until we get back."

The Titans West smiled as they looked around at their new fans while Miss Martian said, "Take your time. We've got everything under control."

Author's note: So far this is one of my favorite chapters and I love how it turned out. It was nice to have all the Titans West appear again. I came up with ten combo moves to make things cooler and more exciting. I felt the videogame thing was the perfect way for Control Freak to test them and for things to get crazy. I also included those five other villains to make things more interesting. Originally I was going to have Angel fight Golden Eagle and Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man fight Miss Martian, but then thought this would be better. It was a good way to give the new villains Silver Swan and Sungirl more time to shine, and I thought they'd be tougher opponents. Also, I read that Sungirl sort of had a history with Miss Martian in the comics, and that King Shark fought Superboy sometimes so that was a nod to the comics. I had Wonder Girl fight Atlas as a nice nod to Greek mythology. I also made some references to Megas XLR in the final battle with Control Freak's giant robot, such as him controlling it with a videogame controller. I also thought it would be nice to have Control Freak go with a videogame theme instead of his usual TV/movie theme. I put in those extra monsters and stuff as a nice nod to episodes of the Teen Titans series. Please review.
