Public Library (Day)
Sitting at one of the computer desks, Dominic was trying to learn more about Eri's Quirk. Based on what Overhaul told him, the girl had the power to rewind time for a single living being. A terrifying ability, to be sure. Thank Palkia he was immune to time manipulation. Anyways, since it was an Emitter Quirk, he was scouring through books and websites on the subject.
'Emitter Quirks are defined by their ability to cause a variety of things to happen outside of the user's body, as opposed to Mutant or Enhancer Quirks, which effect the body directly.' he read. 'Emitter Quirks usually need to be consciously activated. However, the possibility of an accidental Quirk usage is there. Parents or guardians of Emitter Quirk users need to be cautious as to make sure a dangerous outburst does not occur.'
Again, using information from Overhaul, he knew that her Quirk was powered by stress. Similar to Cosmog's ability to open Ultra Wormholes when put under the same conditions. The only way it was able to overcome this hurdle was to gain more mental strength by Evolving. It'd be difficult to help Eri the same way, though. Luckily, he had a backup plan. 'If I can place a mental block on her, specifically on her control over Rewind, then she wouldn't be able to use it unless I allow her to. That is, if it's willing to help me.'
Despite the amazing powers Pokemon had, there was only one that had the psychic abilities needed to suppress Eri's Quirk. And it wasn't exactly the nicest. But, if it was to help someone abused by humans, Dominic was sure it would lend it's assistance. He got a Premier Ball out of his pocket and stared at it for a few seconds.
Okay, he was 68% sure.
The sound of a loud crashing noise tore him from his thoughts, making him pocket the Premier Ball and get up from his seat before running out the front door to investigate. Once outside, he saw something interesting. With an excited grin, he threw a Poke Ball.
City Bank (Day)
To Muscular, there was nothing more euphoric than the sound of people's screams. That's why he was here. Since the bank was packed with civilians, there was a high chance of a hero coming to 'save the day'. He couldn't wait to see the look on their face when they arrived at a scene covered in blood.
He activated his Quirk and punched through the glass doors, instantly gaining the attention of everyone in earshot. The shrieks of terror that followed was music to his ears. A security guard approached him with a gun, whimpering in fear. He fired, dealing minimal damage to the six foot tall villain. Because his muscle mass was increased to it's limit, the bullet didn't manage to break all the way through his skin. Smirking, he raised his fist to crush the puny man. However, his action was halted when he was hit in the back of the head by something thrown at him.
He turned around to face the street, making eye contact with a blond teenager with a cocky grin. That wasn't what got his attention, though. Standing next to the boy was a large creature only slightly shorter than himself. It had a spiked shell on it's back and white fur growing on it's chest and face. "I don't think that's how doors are meant to be opened, sir." the boy said in a mocking tone, angering Muscular. "If you'd be so kind as to let me, I'll give you a lesson free of charge."
Having enough of the boy's voice, the large villain rushed at him, intent on crushing his skull onto the pavement. "Use Pin Missile." the boy said. The beast at his side crouched down as it's spikes glowed lime-green. The spikes then shot off of it's shell and flew toward Muscular as he ran at them. He ended up being struck with 5 exploding spikes, sending him flying into a car. "I'll pay for that." the teenager commented as he and his monster looked at eachother, embarrassed by their actions.
Furious, Muscular picked up the car he was thrown into and lobbed it at the monster. "Hammer Arm!" the boy commanded. The beast's arm glowed red before it swung at the vehicular projectile, turning it into scrap metal. However, Muscular just used that as a diversion so he could strike the creature while it was vulnerable. "Quickly, use Spiky Shield!" The monster took a defensive position with it's arms in front of it, creating a barrier of green energy that had sharp spikes protruding from it. Unable to slow his momentum, Muscular crashed into the spikes, impaling himself. "Finish this with Giga Impact!" The monster's body started glowing in a rainbow color, then ran straight into an unfinished building with Muscular still stuck to the Spiky Shield.
The monster was sent back into the ball it emerged from as the boy walked away from the scene. That is, until he heard something closing in on him. "I had a feeling this would happen sooner or later." he said as two Heroes landed in front of him. Eraserhead and Midnight.
"So. This is the vigilante the commission's been giving us hell over. He doesn't really look like much." Midnight commented. "Where'd you find creatures like that? We know they aren't your Quirk."
"A true showman never reveals his secrets to his audience." the boy responded, annoying Eraserhead.
"Ugh. Listen kid, you need to come with us. You may think what you're doing is right, but it's just going to end up hurting someone." the black haired man said.
"So, you would've preferred if Chesnaught and I remained on the sidelines as a villain tore dozens of people to shreds?" the teenager asked rhetorically, small embers coming out of his skin.
"Please. The police station can help. We can try and make them let you off easy." Midnight coaxed.
"Sorry, but I have far more pressing things to do than sit in a cell. Bye-bye!" the blonde said as he turned around to flee. Unfortunately, Midnight was faster. With her Quirk, she knocked the teen out, causing him to fall forward into the pavement unconscious.
