Cobblestone flopped down on his chair, happily kicking his feet. He only stopped when he accidentally kicked his desk and the mirror wobbled.

"I did it! I got the gig! Haha!" He removed his mask. "I can't believe I did it..."

"Hello?" A small voice called from the vents. "A little help?"

"H-hello. Who are you?"

"I'm Lilac. I heard there was a concert here and I wanted to see. I snuck in through the vents because I would have gotten crushed if I tried to go through the front doors. I kind of got stuck in a cobweb though..."

"Oh! I'll help you!" He put his mask back on and got from his seat.

He grabbed his chair and pulled it over to the vent. He unscrewed the screws and reached in.

"Here? Or are you farther back?"

"A little bit more."

He felt something small in his fingers and grabbed it. He pulled it out to reveal a small elf-like creature.

"An elf?"

"Hate to be that kind of person, but that's highly offensive. I'm actually a Troll. Hi."

"Sorry! I've never seen a...Troll before."

She was yellow with pale orange hair, a purple headband with a single lavender flower decorating it, purple pants, and a lavender jacket. Her red nose and green eyes contrasted each other.

"Thank you for helping me!"

"Of course! No wonder you were worried about getting crushed, you're so small!" He blinked. "Oh! I should introduce myself! I'm Cobblestone." He bowed.

"You don't need to bow!"

"Right. Sorry..."

"Don't sweat it, Cobblestone. I'm just grateful you saved me." She kicked a bit of the web off her leg. "But I should be leaving now. I've been stuck up there for a while, so Veneer should be coming back now. I want front row tickets!"

"Veneer? I know him. I didn't know he did shows here."

"Oh, yeah! He and his sister became really popular singers. Turns out they went to jail though. I've been stuck in there for about three hours. I hope I didn't miss it. Veneer got released recently, based off the news. Hope that helps! I would like it if you came to see the show too. I heard they were really good! I better be on my way though. See you later!"

She hopped off the desk with a wave, Cobblestone opening the door for her. He watched her start walking down one way of the hall, then turn and go down the other.

"This way, heh."

He fought it for a little while, but started following her.

"I didn't know Veneer went to prison."

"Yeah. Turns out they were using Trolls to sing, so they got in trouble for that. Even so, I heard they were good with or without Troll magic. I'm glad to see that you came along! Maybe now I won't get lost..."

The person didn't look like Veneer, or act like him either. Lilac was a little disappointed that it wasn't him, but she enjoyed it nonetheless. She actually noticed Veneer in the crowd and had Cobblestone take her to him to get an autograph.

"Are you sure about this?"

"Sure I am! I've been collecting famous people's autographs! It's a hobby of mine. Is that too weird?"

"No, no, you're fine."

Veneer was sitting at a table by the concessions stand, drinking a smoothie. He was wearing a yellow crop top and pants, still wearing the shoes from their Rage Dome uniforms, and the necklace and bracelets from their other outfit. Lilac hopped from Cobblestone's shoulder and asked Veneer for an autograph.

"Huh? Oh! Normally people would be asking Vel for that kind of stuff; but sure, why not?"

Cobblestone shoved his hands into his pockets as Veneer scribbled down his signature. "Veneer..."

Veneer looked up, handing Lilac back the paper. "Huh? Do I know you? You look familiar."

He frowned. "It's nothing. Forget it. Come on, Lilac."

Lilac used her hair to pull herself onto his shoulder. "Bye, Veneer! Thanks for the autograph!"

"Of course!" He waved goodbye, and she waved back.

Cobblestone exited the building. Lilac sighed happily.

"Thanks for the lift, Cobblestone."

"No problem. I love to help."

"Are you okay? You're acting a little down since you saw Veneer. Is something wrong?"

"He didn't recognise me...I can't believe I look that bad..."

"Cobblestone? Is everything alright?"

"Yeah. It's just...We used to-"

"Watch out!"

Cobblestone flinched at the yell and lifted his foot. Three Trolls driving a sort of go kart slid to a stop nearby, passing right under his foot. He lost his balance and fell over, Lilac jumping from him to the Trolls in the car.

"Thank you, Cobblestone! This is my ride! I hope to see you again!"

"Hey man, nice threads." The driver was a male Troll, and had a darker and more greytone pallet than Lilac and the other male.

"But I'm dressed like a clown!" He tugged at his coat tails. "How can you like this?"

"Cause it shows you, man."

"I guess...?"

The female also had a darker pallet, with her near-black purple hair pulled into a ponytail. "Let's go guys! We promised Lila we'd get her that autograph!"

"Wanna come with us?" The other male asked. "You'd have to walk behind us, but we'll gladly take you along!"

"I'm good. You have fun." He smiled.

"Pedal to the metal!" The girl cheered.

They shot off, tires screeching. Cobblestone stood back up and dusted off his clothes and straightened the ruff at the end of his sleeves.

"Those Trolls are so odd. How does this look like me?"
