"Here we are huh?"

The way formed for him dissipated as the crack in the sea turned back to it's previous form.

'It really worked it seems...'

And finally he's here, he did it.

'So this is the source of magic'

He made his way to Ahtohallan, which looked like an ice fortress...there was no entrance except for one right before him.

His mind was telling him to be on guard for anything bad to happen, that it was too open...but for some reason he didn't feel threatened...his heart was telling him that it's okay...

Ahtohallan sleeps around him, quiet and grim, a silent estuary of magic and miracles.

It feels strange now being near it and he hadn't made it to the center yet...it does't feel real, it's like he's in a dream...a distant, distant dream

He feels the cold surface beneath his feet, the air was cold... and yet it doesn't feel too harsh

Ah ah ah ah

The voice that called him for all this time became a bit louder, which means it's a step closer now. He had to know. He can't ignore her siren.

"I hear you... just you wait, I'm coming to meet you"

The innards of the glacier smell like a mountaintop. Glisten like a flat sea. He stand upright, hands at his sides and his chest puffed out. His brown hair billows loose against his exposed back

'I can do this. I know I can. No matter what awaits me beyond the next corner. I have to know'

He takes a few steps, walking towards the cave entrance in the middle of the giant ice wall

And as he comes closer, he hears voices again but this time it's not just a call...it's singing something

~Every inch in me is trembling~

~And from the cold~

He is now inside the cave, he watch his feet as he delve deeper into the glacier.

~Something is familiar~

~Like a dream I can reach but not quite hold~

The inside was frozen like the outside with the path ahead a little dark but welcoming

~I can sense you there~

~Like a friend I've always known~

At that Tarzan thought to himself, it was beautiful yet familiar indeed ...it seems like ahtohallan tries to talk to him, to tell him something

~I have always been a fortress~

~Cold secrets deep inside~

Perhaps it wants him to be careful...

~You have secrets too~

~But you don't have to hide~

And perhaps it's not only ahtohallan...

~I'm dying to meet you~

...Maybe it's also the people connected to it, those who reside within

He follows the voice and finds himself in the dead end where there are multiple caves in different directions...

...But as he is there, inside the ancient river of glaciers... he finally says what he wanted to say from the beginning and what was reinforced by that vision inthe forest

"Mother, I am here. Please show yourself"

And he asks it, he makes a call hismelf "Ah ah ah aaaah~"

It echoed throghout the place and in that very moment, it answered thim back

~Ah ah ah ah~

The next instant he saw the light present in one of the caves

Feeling stirred up inside, he went straight after it on all fours not waiting one more minute

He runs after it all the way to the end of the path where it seems to now guide him somewhere

Welcoming it , he kept going forward

His steps ring through frozen catacombs and down endless drops.

It became slippery soon enoguh but it didn't deter him as he slides down all the way to the bridge that was formed over the endless rift

Careful not to slip, he made his way over to the other side fo the ravine

Touching the wall, the light reappeared and goes ahead. With the icey obstacles blocking his path, stands up strong as he sang the next lines

~Mother, I'm here~

~Mother, I'm aware what to do~

~I don't know who you were~

~What were you like when alive~

~But I'm here to find out~

Tarzan grabs the large ice structure as he lifts it with all his might

~I feel this power surging through me every minute like an animal gone wild~

As he throws it out of the way, he moves on to the next obstacle...

~Mother, you are here~

~Mother, you were gone and left behind your child~

With his emotions getting stronger...

~All three of us, all scared and all alone~

~But can't just sit and cry~

~As I know you never wanted this~

And making his way in the process...

~I seek the truth~

~What are you trying to say?~

~I'm ready to hear

From one obstace...

~What are you showing me?~

~I need to know who you were~

~To know who I could have been~

...after the next...

~I seek the truth~

~To know why you call me~

He could see the light, it doesn't go anywhere

~Another secret~

~Another and another~

~But I won't let that pull us back form what we are~

...It's waiting for him...With it's voice calling him again ~Here I am~

He's come so far...

He enters the big vast hall that was likea forest of glaciers as it calls ~The end of ice age, the river found but lost~

And at the end of it, a big door waiting for him

~Ah ah ah aaah~

The call of the siren welcomes him. Echoes forever.

For a moment, his knees shake under his weight yet he charged right into it

~No more doors anymoooooore~

He barged into it breaking through it and making his appearance and stepped into the heart of the world.

The black floor, snowy white with memories. An eternity in either direction. Galaxies glittering like unwritten songs.

~Let me see who you are~

Is she still down here?

~Come to me now~

~Open your door to me~

And once he stepped in there, five elements appeared before him

~Don't make me wait

Each of the spirits he faced before coming here except for two

One was a fierce horse, advancing like a raging river known as Nokk

While the other, a symbol of star was not known to him, however her form then crystalised into a statue of a someoine he had not yet meet

And then that figure held him by his hand with both of her hands while singing him a lullaby he remembers from the memories he had once lost

~Where the north winds meet the sea~

The call grows even louder, a room he is in then brightens up as the ice displays multiple visions from the past...

With all the elemental symbols engraved on the floor with her and him standing on the center

The statue then dissipates into the air as it sings in unison with the voice

~No more secrets~

~There's a river full of memory~

~You're my family~

Tarzan looks around to see visions, of everything that's happened

"~I've just found you~"

"~ I seek the truth~

~Even if it hurts but even so~

~I have to know~

Young Agnarr meeting Iduna

~And I won't let it GOOOOOO~

And as he looks at the vision, he sees the shipwrecks thy went through... seeing his baby self in her hands...

...His human mother Iduna, young and brave...

~Come my darling homeword bound~

"~I found you!~"

"~And I won't let go~!" *Tarzan and Iduna sing in unison*

He proclaims as everything around turns into mist

I did it guys. I finally made it here. Tarzan finally met his birth mother Iduna. The next chapter will be with mother son interaction.

Also the ice age detail about Ahtohallan was found somewhere in Frozenverse, it is real. That detail may hint that the mother of all spirits happened somewhere in era of vikings ...during the mini ice age a couple hundred years ago aka "little ice age" or maybe even earlier during the global ice age.
