UA Stadium (Day)

After replenishing his strength, Dominic walked out onto the pitch with a Poke Ball in one hand, and a Tera Orb in the other. Taking a deep breath, he set foot onto the battlefield.

"Time for the last battle of the third round!" Present Mic said loudly. "It's the Trainer with a volcanic temper, Xiao-Long Dominic! And his opponent? The underdog of Class 1-A, Midoriya Izuku!" As those words were said, the greenette made his way up the stairs leading to the battlefield.

"I'm glad that you made it this far, Midoriya." Dominic said, smiling. "But your winning streak ends here. Come out!" The blonde threw his Poke Ball, releasing a humanoid Pokemon with red/black skin, and a set of yellow armor.

"Who's that?" Kirishima asked from the stands.

"Guess it's a good thing Xiao-Long gave this to me." Jiro said, pulling out her phone. After a few button presses, a Pokedex App opened, allowing her access to the new Pokemon's entry.

"What's that?" Uraraka asked.

"Xiao-Long and Hatsume were working together and made this for our phones." Jiro explained. "They asked me to test it out." The girl aimed her phone at the battlefield, and just as designed, the entry showed up.

"Armarouge, the Fire Warrior Pokemon. Type: Fire/Psychic. Armarouge believes in a fair fight and will challenge an opponent head-on no matter how much stronger that opponent is. It specializes in using its sturdy armor to bolster its defenses and take down enemies with its high firepower."

"Sounds tough." Ejiro said. "But can it stand up to Midoriya's Quirk? We've seen what he can do."

"You're forgetting that Midoriya always breaks his arm when he uses his Quirk." Asui said. "If Xiao-Long and Armarouge fight smart, they might just win."

"3, 2, 1..." As Present Mic counted down, Midoriya looked down at his arm. 'I hope this works.' he thought to himself, feeling One For All surge through his veins. "GO!"

The instant the battle started, Dominic executed his plan of attack. "Quickly, Psychic!" Armarouge's eyes glowed purple as he raised its arms, surrounding Midoriya in a telekinetic grip before slamming him into the ground. "Follow up with Dragon Pulse!" Armarouge's pauldrons moved from its shoulders to its wrists, forming a small cannon. From the cannon, a blast of purple energy in the shape of a dragon shot at the greenette, dealing additional damage to him while he was already down. 'We can't afford to give him even one second of vulnerability.' Dominic told himself. "Again! Dragon Pulse!"

As the energy beam was launched at Midoriya, a burst of wind tore the attack to shreds, forcing both Trainer and Pokemon to cover their faces with their arms. From where he laid, Midoriya stood up, burn marks on his clothes and a determined expression on his face.

Gritting his teeth in frustration, Dominic gave another command. "Use Psychic!"

Another psychic hold was put on Midoriya, but the boy refused to be confined. "SMASH!" he yelled, punching his way out of the telekinesis. And miraculously, his arm was perfectly fine. 'It worked!'

"Every time I go out of my way to help someone, it always comes back to bite me in the ass." Dominic said angrily. "No matter. I've fought my way through worse odds." Dominic held out his Tera Orb, preparing to throw it. "Now, Armarouge! Dazzle everyone with your crimson shine! Terastallize!" He threw the Tera Orb at his Pokemon, engulfing Armarouge in a cluster of brightly shining crystals. After no more than a second, the crystals shattered, revealing Armarouge with a gem-like film covering its entire body, as well as a crown on its head in the shape of a candelabra.

"Holy hell." Jiro said, breathless from the display.

"Magnifique!" Aoyama exclaimed, awestruck. "I've never seen anything so beautiful!"

"How did he even do that?" Sero asked.

"Apparently, it's called Terastallization." Jiro said, looking through the Pokedex App. "Dominic used that device in his hand to change Armarouge's Type."

"Whoa." Kirishima said. "I didn't even know he could do that."

"Midoriya might be in more trouble than we thought." Jiro said, continuing to scroll through the article. "Armarouge is normally a Fire/Psychic Type. But after Terastallizing, it lost the Psychic Type while gaining a power boost in all its Fire-Type Moves."

"So if Deku gets hit with any of those Moves..." Uraraka said, worried.

"Then he'll probably get blasted right out of the battlefield." Ejiro finished.

"I refuse to allow anyone to get past me now!" Dominic declared, raising his arm and charging up a fire attack. Midoriya pulled back his arm, preparing to counter the blast. But as the flames left Dominic's body, they didn't fly toward the greenette. Instead, they were aimed at Armarouge, shocking everyone in the stands.

"Wait, he's attacking his own teammate!?" Kirishima yelled, confused. "How unmanly!"

"Don't say that just yet. Look!" Asui said, pointing to the Fire Warrior Pokemon. Dominic's flames, instead of harming Armarouge, seemed to power it up. The Pokemon let out a triumphant cry as its own firepower was pushed to the limit.

"That's Flash Fire, Armarouge's Ability." Jiro explained, reading through the Pokemon's entry. "It doesn't take damage from Fire-Type attacks, and it also gains a power boost every time it gets hit with one. Xiao-Long deliberately fired at his partner, knowing that it would use the fire to get stronger."

"I take it back. That's the manliest thing I've ever heard!" Kirishima said, impressed.

'He's stronger than ever before now.' Midoriya realized, seeing the flames escaping from Armarouge's body. 'If I can't beat them in one last attack, I'm done for.'

Focusing, the greenette allowed One For All's power to cover his entire body. He ran toward his opponents, green lightning surging from his legs as he did so. At the same time, Armarouge's pauldrons moved to its hands again, and immense amounts of Fire energy swelled in its body.

"SMASH!"

"ARMOR CANNON!"

Midoriya swung his fist at the exact time that Armarouge fired its attack. The wind pressure from the greenette's Smash met with the Armor Cannon, but was inevitably torn to shreds by the immeasurable heat. The blast flew right through the Smash and swallowed Midoriya in the flames, sending him flying into the outer edge of the stadium.

"What a finish!" Present Mic announced as the crowd cheered. "Xiao-Long Dominic makes it to the finals!"

From the stands, Bakugo looked down at his next opponent with a scowl before leaving.
