A while back – "Busy Time" Chapter

While Gerda, Kai and Olina were preparing him for the council meeting, they also had to enlighten him about his lineage.

Though it was more like a historical inter course.

Kai – "I will try to summarise what I can.

To foundation of Arendelle before the last ice age by Lord Aren, a legendary adventurer who dissapeared I his search of the hidden secrets of the world.

Despite his absence, the kingdom continued to strengthen it's position in Norway amidst times of tension and bloodshed in Scandinavia.

Back in 10th century, his descendants Eric and Else ruled the nation when it was at war against Scottish Highlands even temporarily allying with enemy tribe of Angles. Though the war halted one day once a powerful storm, a natural disaster took many lives. That's as far as we know, the historic records make it hard to figure out. Some say it was brought by Cailleach the deity of winter although we may never know.

Regardless, peace was only achieved later however when the leaders of Highlanders Merida the Brave and King McGuffin decided to meet with Lord Eric and Lady Else to stop the meaningless loss of life between their countries, ending the alliance with Angles soon after. Relatives from both even got married to each other.

Mrs Porter, in this war Arendelle was close allies with your grandfather's duchy of Weselton, despite Weselton's greed.

Back then the neighbouring Corona was supporting the opposing sides which left relations quite strained.

Nevertheless Coronian land is a large and influential kingdom so many highlanders and Vikings have emigrated to that kingdom, some starting their own business in current days... Many are still in the area on the map with a serpent in the north ocean..

Moving on, relations between Dunbroch and Arendelle grew over generations, though also did their distrust of unnatural magic...

And that discrimination grew in your family as well, you should be aware by now of what it drive your grandfather to do against the indigenous Northuldran Tribe."

Tarzan - *sighs* I heard from Anna.

Kai – "Very well. Your father was in line for the throne when he met and eventually married your mother.

Done all they could in circumstances they were in, especially around 1848 revolutions.

And one day they had your sisters. Elsa was the first, Anna was the second, you came later than anyone expected...Unfortunately, their majesties were no longer here and so for time being, the council handled the situation In Arendelle until Elsa eventually had to take the lead... Not without some obstacles."

Kai gave off a hint that he may know more than he's choosing to tell. But he guessed it's not all necessary.

"Queen Elsa had to resign years later to be the protector of the Enchanted Isle. It was Anna's turn to be the Queen and she most of the times she garners good support from her people. Kristoff and we try to keep her on her legs sometimes."

Gerda and Olina giggled

Jane – "You don't get bored seemingly"

Kai – "Sometimes, but naturally there are times when we fear for her life. There are people who want to rule the nation whatever it takes. You have a second cousin from Ichabod family, Artil who I'm sure you'll meet at the council meeting. And then there was also his brother Grimsby who nearly incited a civil war.

Tarzan – "What does that mean? Civil war.."

Jane – "It's an inner struggle, possibly to the death among one's own people."

"Indeed. Tensions between us and Northuldrans slowly healed but three years after she became Queen, Anna was visited by Grimsby who had a peculiar idea of producing lights through building of a new dam at the forest. That idea caused outrage from Northuldra, even your sister Elsa was enraged at Anna for even considering this. We later found out that Grimsby knew this and used the confusion to start up an ethnic violence, someone from the outside helped orchestrate the plan. We learned one of them was Queen Disa from neighbouring kingdom who had her eye on the forest... her desires got her kingdom nearly flooded... others are uncertain to this day"

Jane – "Is this why there are little modern technology here?"

Gerda – "That day is only one of the reasons why Anna was reluctant for a time. If modernization means war, things could get very out of hand."

Tarzan – "I see. Something new is not always safe. Is that everything I need to know?"

Kai – "Not yet, you see your grandmother Queen Rita had three children : Your father Agnarr and his sisters : your aunts, Willow and Arianna.

King Runeard mainly was interested in your father while his daughters were left in care of Rita's father in Germany."

Tarzan's eyes narrowed at that.

Kai – "And lastly your cousin, Arianna's child Rapunzel of Corona. She is the current leader of her kingdom in Germany along with her friend Cassandra"

Tarzan – "So I'll have to meet with them too?"

Kai – "Young master, many would love to meet you. Since the stories of your life had worldwide reach now."

Gerda – "Elsa was attracting much attention here and now we have you. Children would wish to hear your tales"

Olina asked Jane "Did you meet author of his book by any means?"

Jane – "Yes, a year ago. It was a surprise to us too, why?"

Olina – "Well there are people coming here, asking for stories of her highness too. Like sir Christian Anderson"

The author of a mermaid tale, she knows that one.

Her line of thought was interrupted when Tarzan said "Looks like I will have much to do"

Jane – "Well look on the bright side, uhm well they are almost done prepping you."

Kai – "What I'm saying is that you should properly meet Queen Rapunzel, worry not you may find that you two have something in common"

Fast forward – Corona currently

Anna did say at one point that the castles each kingdom vary, said Corona's is very elaborate in it's looks while Arendelle's are more modest. He does see the difference now when he's there to see.

Tarzan didn't like 'beret' on his head, it is itching but Hope said to wear so as to not get cold again. At least for a while. He can't feel his feet under these shoes either, though he wonders why there is a sun coloured on them.

Hope – So you were told about us? I mean Coronians or her majesties?

Tarzan – A little.

Jane – We didn't think of asking unfortunately..

Hope – Well, that is not a problem, you may do that while you are here. By the way, Rapunzel came to see you when you were asleep...

Tarzan – And what did she say?

Hope – Well, you'll find out soon.

He didn't say much after that, he them focused on Jane who looks a bit anxious. He wonders why?

Then there came that strange whistling again, it was echoing through the halls like a song.

Tarzan – Do you hear anyone whistling?

Hope – Whistling? Oh it's probably a wind blowing somewhere outside. Otherwise I don't hear anything here.

Jane – It's only three of us here.

And looks like only he hears it...

As they were walking, he could swear he saw someone outside the window though there was no one to be found.

Jane – Tarzan... listen lately I've been thinking. Maybe I should get some training to fight.

Tarzan looks at her, surprised and a bit confused

Tarzan – And why's that? You can train of course but...

Jane – You do remember what happened... I couldn't do anything... so I thought why not?

Tarzan – I do remember the rain... but no, nothing after that aside from what you've told me.

Hope – Looks like some memories take time. When it comes to amnesia from a traumatic experience, memories may still be there — just hidden away and inaccessible. I've seen scars on your chest so maybe...

Jane - No no that's different, that was there before all this happened. And wow for a handmaiden, you do know a bit about therapy.

Hope – As Queen Cassandra, old lady Crowley and others shown me here, it's better to learn more than one. And here I say, just give a little time to refresh your memories. Oh by the way, here it is.

They then approached the large door with a symbol of a sun.

Tarzan then did the obvious, he knocked on it.

Slamming it slightly and Hope reprimanded him.

Hope – Herr! Wait, that's not necessary. You can call-

It then opened up a little, showing a concerned Nigel on the other side.

Nigel – Ah so you've come at last. Here they are your majesties!

"Let them in Nigel"

The trio entered the throne hall of Corona, it was slightly bigger than the great hall in Arendelle. It doubles as both a throne room and a ballroom.

With numerous sun crest flags hanging from the ceiling, with big windows. Some decorations reminded of parts from a closet door strangely.

There was also a long carpet stretching forward, with bushes and lights on both left and right sides of the room with thrones in the middle currently occupied.

There people they knew and some he did not.

The man who let them in, Nigel.

Two senior man and woman.

A woman with bright green eyes and brown hair.

A man was higher, with a beard and moustache.

Then there was a dark man wearing a golden necklace on his neck. Bald on his head.

There a taller woman standing beside him, with long white tied hair, half her face painted red.

Kristoff was present, and that was good.

There was also Kai, his sister's adviser. They were surprised as to how he's here but regardless glad he's alive and well.

Professor Porter was here too, much to Tarzan's relief.

Then Tarzan's eyes followed a man beside the two apparent queens on the thrones.

He had Tarzan's height and had fair skin, short dark brown hair, a scruffy goatee, and light brown eyes. And he was wearing a golden armour and had a sword on him.

As for the two rulers, one was with black short hair with grey streaks in it. And a sword on her back, that too was good he supposed. There's no telling what can happen every day.

And then there came her, his... cousin Rapunzel, with long brown hair strangely with a golden streak in it instead of grey one. She looked a bit younger too. Not too young though.

Tarzan – So this is you...Well, I'm glad to meet you. And, thank you for your help while I was sick.

Rapunzel didn't respond immediately, instead looked at him with interest.

If this man was who Kristoff says he was, then she now understands how it felt to meet a long lost relative herself...

Rapunzel – It's nothing, really. I mean, what family would we be if we didn't help really? With all our own weird differences... that includes you now Tarzan Oldenburg of the Apes.

3 points I'd like to make :

I - I like ROTBTFD ideas, thats quite obvious here. Merida as ancestor to Arendelle family works good enough, I wonder if real life Scots married into Norway families?

II – Also Back in Iduna Ahtohallan chapter, there was also Hiccup as their ancestor ("Calm Before Storm"). Adding him, plus Jack as Iduna's brother (whose death partially led to Elsa's powers thanks to a certain force) and Rapunzel as their cousin and you have one hell of a family tree especially if you are in Tarzan's shoes or feet right about now.

III – Happy birthday to Anna this summer!

IV - Queen Disa is from frozenverse story Forces of Nature but here that story is a bit different.

Also finally Tarzan meets Rapunzel, I'm glad to have done this. Cousins meet at last. Sure I delayed the flight bit sorry. But hey better late than never.
