Cafeteria (Day)
Dominic had a lot on his mind. With other Pokemon Trainers coming to this world, he needed to get stronger and stronger. That wasn't even mentioning the fact that there were more of those Nomu monsters he battled at the USJ. His Pokemon were strong, but they still had a lot of growing to do. Even Charizard could still learn more powerful Moves if it kept training. Fire Blast, Air Slash, and Dragon Claw barely scratched Nomu the last time it appeared. It needed to learn stronger Moves if it was to surpass it.
"Xiao-Long." Iida said, shaking the boy's shoulder and waking him from his trance. "Are you okay? You've been quiet since Aizawa left the classroom." Iida knew that if his classmate wasn't talking, something was wrong. He loved the sound of his own voice, after all.
"I'm fine, just thinking." Dominic said, feeding a noodle to his Sinistcha. "What were you all talking about?"
"The finals." Midoriya said. Todoroki and Uraraka were also looking at him. "We were a bit worried about the practical portion of the final and... We were wondering if you'd be okay with helping us with it over the weekend."
"You all feel this way?" Dominic asked, surprised.
"Your Pokemon are diverse enough with their powers that we can use them to help us prepare for anything the practical requires of us." Iida explained. "But only if you're okay with it."
"Actually, I'd be glad to help." the blonde said with a smile. "Truth be told, my Pokemon need stronger opponents to spar against. We need to be stronger." Sinistcha mirrored this desire by pumping its tiny arm into the air while shouting. "'Sides, I want to show you more of my fri-" Dominic was cut off when Monoma from Class 1B bumped into him.
"Sorry, I guess I accidentally walked into your big head." Monoma said.
"I should be mad, but this isn't the first time this has happened." Dominic said, rubbing the back of his head. "My doctor says I might have an inflated ego, whatever that means."
"Hmm." Monoma said, thinking that Dominic was lying. "I heard you met the Hero Killer. Just like the Sports Festival, Class 1A isn't happy unless they're the center of attention. You do realize that you're not here because people think you're good heroes, but because you keep getting into trouble."
"Uh, Monoma, I'd stop talking if I was you." Dominic warned, seeing Sinistcha's furious expression. He knew what was about to happen, and he didn't want to be held responsible for what happened next.
"Why, because you know I'm right?" the Mimicry-Quirk user taunted. "Think about this: If Class 1A keeps getting involved with villains, how long will it be before we're caught in the crossfire? How many innocent people wil-" He was stopped when a glob of matcha was thrown into his mouth, causing him to faint.
Before anyone at the table could react, Monoma's classmate, Kendo, walked up and saw him on the ground. "What happened?" she asked, exasperated.
"It's my fault." Dominic said, looking down at his Pokemon, still fuming from Monoma's words. "Sinistcha doesn't like it when it hears people insult me or my friends. When it gets irritated, it throws matcha into its opponent's mouth and drains some of their life-force."
"Matcha?" Uraraka asked.
"It's a type of tea used for ceremonies." Todoroki explained.
"Don't worry about him, he should wake up in a few minutes." Dominic assured.
"Sorry about him, by the way. I'm pretty sure there's a hole where his heart should be." Kendo said, grabbing Monoma by his collar. "Also, don't worry about the practical of the final. I hear it's going to just be fighting robots."
"How do you know this?" Midoriya asked.
"One of my upperclassman friends told me." the girl explained. "I know it's cheating but, I thought it was appropriate after how Monoma treated you."
"No, I don't think it's cheating." Midoriya said, mumbling to himself.
"What kind of idiot are you, Kendo?" Monoma asked, regaining consciousness. Dominic had never seen someone recover from Matcha Gotcha's effects so quickly. "You just gave away our advan-" He was once again cut off when Sinistcha spat boiling water at his face, knocking him out again and leaving him with a burn.
"Yeah, you might want to take him to Recovery Girl." Dominic said, worried that he might get blamed.
Xiao-Long Temporary Household (Day)
"Welcome to my humble abode!" Dominic said to his classmates as they stood outside the front gate.
Midoriya, Iida, Uraraka, and even Todoroki were surprised to see how extravagant Dominic's home was. The front gate was made of black bricks, and next to the actual gate were two torches lit by black fire. When the gates opened, they were taken through a paved path in a lush garden filled with flowers and plants they'd never seen before.
When they reached the front door, Dominic placed his hand on the door, causing a red aura to appear around him, opening the door. "Follow me to the training room." he said, guiding his classmates through the labyrinth he called home. After an unknown amount of time, they reached the training room.
It was a large open area with a battlefield in the center. Surrounding the battlefield were various Pokemon sparring against each other.
"Everyone, I brought home a few friends!" Dominic said. Many of the Pokemon training approached the group, curious about them. Others just wanted their trainer's attention. "In preparation for our final exam at UA, we'll be sparring against each of them." The blonde turned to face his classmates. "Who wants to go first?"
"I'll go." Iida said. He wanted to repent for his actions in Hosu.
"Okay then. Who wants to battle Iida?" Dominic asked his Pokemon. A black, metallic blur sped to the battlefield, ready to spar. "Iida, take your place on the other end." Dominic said to his classmate, getting ready for battle.
