UA (Day)

After the weekend was over, 3 days of intense written exams fell upon Class 1-A. They were hard, but the class managed to get through them. On the fourth day, the practical was to take place.

The students, all in their Hero Costumes, were brought to a set of two buildings. Once there, they met up with all of the teachers, also clad in their costumes. "Now, then. Let's begin the last test." Aizawa said. "Remember, you can fail this test. So if you want to go to camp, I suggest you don't make any stupid mistakes."

"Why are all the teachers here?" Jiro asked.

"I expect many of you to have gathered information about this test and have some idea of what you'll be facing." Aizawa said. "Or at least, what you expect to be facing."

"Oh, yeah! We're battling those big robots again!" Kaminari shouted, excited.

"Fireworks, s'mores, here we come!" Ashido said, pumping her arm into the air.

"Actually, this test will be completely different for various reasons!" Nezu said, popping out of Aizawa's scarf.

"Why were you hiding in the scarf?" Dominic asked, confused.

"You're changing things?" Yaoyorozu said.

"The tests now have a new focus to them." Nezu said.

"Don't ignore my question!" Dominic yelled.

"There will of course be hero work and teamwork, and this time there will be combat between actual people." Nezu continued. "So what does that mean for you students? Why, that means you will be working in pairs and your opponents will be one of our esteemed teachers! Isn't that fabulous!"

"We're fighting the teachers?" Uraraka asked, worried.

"Additionally, your opponents and partners have already been chosen." Aizawa explained. "They were determined at my own discretion, and were chosen based on a number of factors. Fighting style, interpersonal relationships, and grades. First off, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki are a team, and their opponent is me. Next are Midoriya and Bakugo facing-"

Aizawa was cut off when All Might fell from the sky, landing next to the group. "I am here! To fight!" the man proclaimed. "Boys, you will have to work together to defeat me."

'Well, that's never going to happen.' Dominic said to himself, knowing how tense their relationship was.

"As for the other pairs, they are as follows." Aizawa said, listing off the other teams. "Kirishima and Sato against Cementoss, Asui and Tokoyami against Ectoplasm, Iida and Ojiro against Power Loader, Uraraka and Aoyama against Thirteen, Ashido and Kaminari against Principal Nezu, Xiao-Long and Koda against Present Mic, Jiro and Shoji against Snipe, and finally, Mineta and Sero against Midnight."

Dominic looked over to Koda. He never really had any interactions with him, aside from when he addressed the whole class. He remembered his Quirk being Anivoice, something that let him communicate with any animal. Maybe that's why he was chosen as his partner, because he would be able to talk with his Pokemon. 'But against Present Mic...' The trainer turned his gaze to his teacher. He was aware of how loud the man's voice could get when attacking, but he wasn't keen on finding out for himself.

"To complete the exam, you will have 30 minutes." Nezu said, holding a pair of yellow handcuffs in his paw. "In order to win, you will have to place these on your teacher. You can also pass if you manage to escape the combat stage."

"So, we've either got to capture our opponent or run away." Kaminari said.

"But is it really okay to just jet?" Ashido asked, morally torn.

"Sometimes, it's better to run than fight." Dominic said. "There will always be someone out there that you cannot defeat through any kind of combat. In times like that, running away is the only way to survive." Memories of Origin Forme Dialga flashed in the trainer's head. Back at the Temple Of Sinnoh, he had to flee. Its power was too great for even him to handle. The only thing capable of stopping it was Palkia, and it was weakened by his own Pokemon. He had to retreat, figure out Origin Forme Dialga's weakness, then catch it with the Origin Ball. It was a very stressful day.

"This won't be like your previous combat tests." Present Mic said. "After all, you're up against pros, and we're way better than you all."

"Better than us? Aren't you just the announcer and the English teacher?" Jiro asked.

"Never underestimate a man based on his profession." Dominic said. "Did I ever tell you I used to work with UPS? Straight up threw the packages through the window. I was the fourth best mailman in the entire country."

"He's right." Present Mic said.

"This will be closer to a real battle than anything else you've been tested on so far." Thirteen warned. "I know it's tough, but you will have to see us as villains."

"Done." Dominic said. He already had a distaste for educators, so this was the perfect test for him.

"If you find yourself unable to attack, fleeing is the best strategy." Aizawa said. "Midoriya, Iida, Todoroki. I'm sure the three of you understand this better than the rest of the class combined right now."

"I understand." Todoroki said.

"I won't make that mistake again." Iida said.

"So, it's fight to win or run to win." Midoriya said.

"That's right! It's a test of your decision-making skills. But with these rules, you may think that your only way to pass is to run away. That's why the Support Course made these cool accessories for us!" All Might said, holding up a silver band that looked quite heavy.

"Behold, ultra-compressed weights!" Present Mic said.

"So, you'll be attacking us with less movement than you're used to." Dominic figured out. "A clever handicap."

"Exactly, young Xiao-Long! These will add almost half our body weight to our physique, and will eat up our stamina very quickly." All Might explained, putting one of the braces on. "Oh, that is heavier than I expected. We had a contest on who would design them, and young Hatsume was the winner."

'I expected that.' Dominic thought to himself. The pinkette reminded him of another schoolmate he had back at Naranja Academy. 'Now, then. Who would do best against Present Mic?' The boy brought a Luxury Ball from his pocket, devising a strategy.
