David's Lab (Afternoon)

"Yes, I am here! Shaking with emotion at our heartfelt reunion!" All Might declared as he entered the room.

"Toshi- All Might?" David said, astonished.

"HAHAHA! I came all this way just to see you, Dave old buddy!" All Might said, jubilant.

"So, were you surprised?" Melissa asked.

"Yeah. Completely astounded." her father answered.

"Ah, Dave. How long has it been?" the number 1 hero asked.

"Oh, don't make me say it. I feel old enough already, you jerk." David said before joining his friend in a laugh.

'If these two were brothers, I wouldn't be surprised.' Dominic mentally blanched.

"Young Midoriya, Young Xiao-Long, Young Hatsume, allow me to introduce you to someone incredible. David Shield." All Might said.

"You were All Might's original sidekick, right?" Dominic asked.

"Yes, that's right." David answered.

"He's not just All Might's first sidekick, he's a top inventor who won a Nobel Quirk Prize!" Midoriya said, eyes glittering. "He's a master of costume design too! All of All Might's iconic looks were created by him!"

"It seems I don't have to introduce myself." David said. He looked down at Dominic. "I'm glad to see you respond to my letter." All Might coughed a bit, and David's expression slightly hardened. "It's been a long time, so why don't you kids give us some time to catch up. Dominic, there's a surprise waiting for you in the Quirk Practice Area."

Taking the hint, Dominic left the room with the others. He had a feeling that this was personal to both All Might and David.

I-Island (Afternoon)

"So, do you have Hero Names, or do you want me to call you by your real names?" Melissa asked.

"Just call me Dominic." Dominic said. Mountain King was a bit of a mouthful.

"You can call me Deku." Midoriya said.

"Deku? That's kind of a strange nickname." Melissa commented. "You all can stick with Melissa for me."

"You know, it's amazing that this whole island is man-made." Midoriya said, looking around.

'Wait until you see the Terarium at Blueberry Academy.' Dominic thought to himself, still in shock at how that gigantic school was entirely underwater.

"Yeah. The only downside is that we can't travel." Melissa said.

"Why not?" Hatsume asked.

"Well, the scientists and their families have to keep their work top secret." Melissa explained. "That insures that there aren't any leaks."

"Makes sense." Dominic said, looking around at the various attractions. "I've been seeing a lot of Pro Heroes on the island. Does that have anything to do with the gadgets here?"

"As a matter of fact, yes! Sometimes, heroes come to the island to test out support gear and sign autographs." Melissa said. "A lot of them will be attending the dance tonight, so you'll have a chance to meet them all."

"And analyze their babies!" Hatsume interrupted.

"It's a good thing I packed formal wear." Dominic said, smiling.

Support Item Showcase Hall (Afternoon)

Dominic and Hatsume were amazed at the different kinds of inventions being exhibited.

"This plane reminds me of the Clown Cruiser." Dominic said with a smile, looking at a green biplane.

"What's the Clown Cruiser?" Hatsume asked. She'd never heard of such a vehicle.

"It's a plane that belongs to an old friend of mine." the boy explained. "It could fire homing Shells, and even giant bullets capable of detonating with 400 tons of TNT."

"Wow! I want to see it!" Hatsume said.

"Unfortunately, the guy who owns it is on the other side of the globe." Dominic lied.

"Looks like you two are having fun." Jiro said, walking up to the duo.

"That we ar-" Dominic cut himself off, looking in the direction of his classmate. He then faced forward again. "Jiro, how in the name of me did you get here?" he asked.

I-Island Cafe (Afternoon)

"I can't believe you all worked with heroes in the field!" Melissa said. She, along with Midoriya, Uraraka, Jiro, Dominic, and Yaoyorozu were sitting at an outdoor table just outside of a cafe.

"Just normal training and a few patrols." Uraraka said, bashful.

"I helped in a hostage situation, but only the evacuation." Jiro said.

"I took down a poacher!" Dominic said. "I also accidentally blew up his boat."

"Still, that's amazing!" Melissa complimented.

"I just got stuck in a perfume ad." Yaoyorozu griped.

"Beats having to do your sister's hair for her entire childhood." Dominic said. He still had hair-related nightmares.

"We were thinking of checking out the pavilion where the academy's exhibit is tomorrow." Jiro said.

"Before that, would you mind joining us at the Quirk Practice Area?" Dominic asked. "You see, there's supposed to be a surprise there and I want to see what it might be."

"Hello there, milady." Mineta said, suddenly appearing in front of Melissa. At his side was Kaminari.

"Why are you two boneheads here?" Dominic asked, already annoyed.

"There was a job opening here, so we decided to take it." Kaminari explained.

"We get to tour the expo, and we make some extra cash!" Mineta cheered.

"If you want to make money, get back to work!" Iida yelled, marching up to the two boys. "Oh, I wasn't aware you all were here at the island too."

"Yep. I got a special invitation as the winner of the Sports Festival." Dominic explained. "I brought Hatsume as my plus one, but I don't know where she is right now. She might still be in the showcase hall. What about you?"

"As a member of a long line of heroes, it was only natural that my family got an invitation." Iida said. "But, I was the only one that came."

"I was given an invitation because of my father's contributions to many of the buildings here." Yaoyorozu said.

"We drew straws to see which of us girls would get to go with her to the preview." Jiro explained. "The other girls are here too, but they won't be able to see the new equipment until it's open to the public."

A sudden explosion brought the group out of their conversation. "That sounded like it came from the Quirk Practice Area." Dominic said, wondering if it had something to do with his surprise.
