I-Expo (Night)

Dominic entered the building with a very expensive outfit. He specifically had it tailored to be fireproof, just like his hero costume. His current attire consisted of a red tux, a black bowtie, red pants, and of course, his Mega Glove. "Where's Midoriya?" he asked, looking around. The only people in the first room were Kaminari, Mineta, Iida, and Todoroki.

"He's late." Todoroki said.

Midoriya entered soon after. "Where is everyone?" he asked.

"They're not here yet. Does a proper meeting time mean nothing to you people!?" Iida shouted.

The doors opened yet again, and three people came out. "Sorry I'm late. It took me a while to get ready." Uraraka said, wearing a pink dress.

Hatsume was next to her, wearing a cyan tuxedo. "Heya, guys! Did I miss anything exciting?" the pinkette asked.

"Xiao-Long battled against another Pokemon Trainer." Midoriya recapped. "Who's that with you?"

Before Hatsume's companion could respond, Dominic spoke first. "Marnie?" he said, shocked to see the Dark-Type Specialist.

"Been a while, ain't it?" the girl said, giving a small smile. She was wearing her Sygna Suit for Moltres. It was the fanciest thing she owned, after all. "I saw footage of your battle with Leon. You should be proud of yourself and your Pokemon."

"Thanks!" Dominic said, glad that one of his friends was here. "Oh, I almost forgot. Everyone, this is Marnie, a Pokemon Trainer who I met around the same time I met Leon. Marnie, these are my classmates from UA."

"It's a pleasure to meet you all." the Gym Leader said. "I hope none of you have been too fed up with him."

The doors opened again. This time, Yaoyorozu and Jiro came out. "Sorry for our tardiness. Jiro was feeling a bit shy." Yaoyorozu explained.

"You? Shy?" Dominic asked. "Didn't you threaten to stab Mineta's eye out once?"

"Well, it's just that this is fancier than anything I've ever worn before." Jiro said. "It almost feels like a costume."

"And yet you feel nothing when you wear your hero costume." Dominic deadpanned.

"I'm just glad she's not in a T-shirt." Kaminari said.

"Even the jacket can't ruin it." Mineta agreed. Both were immediately stopped by Toxicroak's Poison Jab.

"Good work." Marnie said to her Pokemon. "Return."

"Are they gonna be okay?" Uraraka asked.

"I wouldn't worry. If Raichu's electricity can't take them down, nothing can." Dominic said, both impressed and disgusted with the duo.

Finally, Melissa arrived, clad in a dress that reminded Dominic of a certain lunar wedding. "Oh, good. I thought I missed you guys." she said. "Why don't we head downstairs for the party?"

"Because we were waiting for you." Dominic said, a concerned look on his face. "Did you not know th-" He was stopped by Toxicroak's Poison Jab.

"Enough with the jokes, we have a party to get to." Marnie said, recalling her Pokemon.

'She's scary.' the rest of the males in the room thought to themselves, not wanting to end up on the wrong side of that attack.

I-Expo (Night)

"And now, if I may have your attention, we would like to introduce a very special guest!" the PA system said. "Please welcome the President of Macro Cosmos, Mr. Rose!" That name got Dominic and Marnie's attention.

"Welcome, one and all!" the man said, dressed in the same suit he wore for official Pokemon League announcements. "It is my utmost pleasure to welcome you all to the I-Expo! I'm sure by now, many of you are aware of the existence of the strange beings known as Pokemon, thanks in no small part to Dominic Xiao-Long, the young man who successfully climbed his way to the top of the UA Sports Festival."

There was now a spotlight on Dominic. "Hey." he said, not expecting to be called out like that. He'd have written a speech if he knew this was going to happen.

"In this amazing world we live in, Pokemon hide almost anywhere you can think of." Rose continued. "In the sky, in the sea, in our towns! And those who choose to live alongside Pokemon and work with them, we call Pokemon Trainers!" Rose got an Ultra Ball from his pocket and tossed it into the air, releasing his Copperajah, which landed on the stage with a loud thud.

"Wait, he's a Trainer too?" Midoriya asked Dominic.

"Yeah. A tough one, as a matter of fact." the blonde answered. He only barely won that battle in the power plant.

"And it is for that reason that I have partnered with David Shield to unlock a secret power hidden within Pokemon!" Rose exclaimed. "And to that end, we have created this!" Rose got out a Dynamax Band that looked a bit different than normal. "This is a prototype for the Dynamax Band, a special device that can cause a Pokemon to grow to gargantuan size! If you don't believe me, simply turn your attention to the screen behind me."

Right on cue, the screen switched from the logo for the I-Expo to a video of Leon in a gigantic laboratory, just big enough to fit a Dynamax Pokemon. On his wrist was the prototype Dynamax Band. "Alright, Charizard! Time for some Gigantamaxing!" Crimson energy flowed from the band and into Charizard's Poke Ball. With a grunt, Leon threw the ball into the air, releasing Gigantamax Charizard. The Pokemon roared, sending embers everywhere. The video then ended, leaving everyone who wasn't a Pokemon Trainer in awe.

"Now, then. I believe I've said enough. All Might, why don't you take the stage?" Rose said, sending back Copperajah and walking offstage.
