The Ocean Depth

Chapter four

SEAVIEW

Admiral Harriman Nelson needed to speak with Captain Lee Crane to see how he was feeling about the trip to the South Pacific. So far Crane and the Control Room had not received an updated report with the flying subs with Kowalski and Chief Sharkey heading out to the region firsthand.

As for Caroline, they have started to search as well having received the coordinates of the diving bell finally with the S.O.S. having been sent by Doctor Andres.

Nelson was tired and needed to sleep. Instead, he will be heading for the sick bay with Doctor Robinson taking over during the past six months. Doctor Robinson was getting ready to go off duty since it was the overnight shift, and everyone was supposed to have been asleep.

He was sitting at his sickbay desk with the crew rosters in front of him. It was going to be in the morning when his staff would be making sure the crew was in good shape for the trip. It's been two weeks since the Seaview had been back from a quick trip to the North Atlantic.

There was a knock on the Chief Medical Officer's door as he looked up from reading Crane's recent profile. There had been doubts on whether he was up for the trip. Though Captain Lee Crane had told Admiral Nelson that he was 100% to be doing his job.

With a slight frown on his features. Doctor Robinson will ask Admiral Nelson the following. "Aren't you supposed to be in bed Harriman?" he asked calmly to the owner of the Seaview and Institute.

With a slight growl coming from his lips. "I came to see you for pills with a headache that can kill an elephant," he remarked as the doctor moved from his chair with a slight chuckle.

"Well in this case Admiral Nelson, I will be happy to help you out, sir," he responded. He had pulled out the keys that were in his black pants to open up the medicine cabinet filled with all types of medication for the Seaview crew.

Taking the pills out of the bottle without placing his gloves on. "Here you go, Admiral. I suggest that you finally get a chance to sleep." he had given his usual advice to the older man.

He had a slight frown on his face to say the following. "Thanks, Doctor. I will follow your advice," he says with a tired response to the CMO's order for the ADMIRAL to be going to bed.

Captain Lee Crane's quarters

He's been asleep for almost an hour wearing his black and white pajamas. He was somewhat restless as he had fallen asleep and a dream mode for some odd reason. Moments later he started to cry out from when he had been taken by the lizard aliens.

Meanwhile, Admiral Nelson having to finish his visit with the chief medical officer heard the following cries coming from Crane's quarters. Nelson with his step tried to run as other officers on the level went running as well.

However, the door wasn't locked Nelson turned on the lights to see Lee Crane in a ball with his knees up to his chest. Admiral Harriman Nelson asked Commander Anderson to have the on-duty doctor come to his quarters to have him checked out.

Moments later carrying his medical bag. Doctor Sanchez taking over for the Chief Medical Officer will ask the Captain to relax. "Try and take it easy Captain Crane. Having the nightmare with the memories has caused you to bring them back with heading for the South Pacific," he remarked.

In a soft and sensual tone of voice. Crane will say the following. "I know, doctor." he will slightly takes in a deep breath. "What is going to happen now, Doctor Robinson?" he needed to know the truth.

He turns to face Admiral Nelson knowing that he wasn't going to like what had to say. "You're going to stay here for 12 hours and simply just rest Captain. You're going to have the other officers take over the Seaview in the morning." simply put with his order as Chief Medical Officer. "Understand me, Captain Crane?" he asked harshly with his order since he was going over Nelson's head as well.

"Understood," Crane says.
