BGM: Rito Village - Day (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
Li approached Weiss. "Is everything alright?"
"Yeah… I was just… reminiscing."
"Hmmm… I see." He nodded.
"I… apologize for running off on you like-"
Li put his hand up to stop her. "You're fine. I can only assume that you had some business up here."
"That's… one way of looking at it."
Li nodded. "If you'd like, I want to show you my family."
"Hmm? Oh, sure, I wouldn't mind." Weiss nodded as Li headed toward his small home. He walked into the hut where they'd see a woman, a young boy and a small Rito.
"Oh, Li! Welcome home." The woman smiled. "Who's this?"
"This is Weiss Schnee. Weiss, this is my wife An, and this is my son, Lie Ren."
"Hello."
"Hi!" The young boy smiled with a brightness in his eyes.
Weiss smiled. "Hello there." She then looked over at the young Rito. "Oh, did you adopt him?"
"No. He's just my son's best friend. His name is Tulin."
"Hello~!" Tulin smiled.
"Hi." Weiss waved back.
"Ah, it seems we have a visitor." A voice said as they saw a large owl approach them. "I am Kaneli, the Rito Elder."
"I'm Weiss Schnee."
"Weiss Schnee? That name sounds familiar…" He mused and then saw the Sheikah Slate on her hip. "And you have a Sheikah Slate! Might you be an ancestor of the late Lanayran Champion?"
…What am I, a ReDead? Weiss sweatdropped. "Uh… I guess you could say that…"
"Fascinating! Perhaps you could help out with defeating Vah Medoh. It has been pestering us for quite a while. It was dormant for a long time, but then it reactivated some time ago. It is a sign that Calamity Ganon's return is nigh. Vah Medoh used to be on our side a hundred years ago, controlled by the great Revali. However, he was murdered during the Great Calamity when he tried to control the Divine Beast. I shudder to imagine what may have bested him…"
Weiss closed her eyes, flashing back to both Water and Fireblight. I may have an idea… She thought.
"Our best Rito warriors have been shot down by the Divine Beast. In fact, Li tried to help at one point but had gotten injured."
"My injuries have healed." Li said.
"That is good, but unfortunately, another shot like that could end you." Kaneli warned.
"...Wait, where's Teba?" Li wondered.
"As soon as he had come back, he went to the Flight Range. He's planning another assault."
"By himself?! Damned fool…" Li growled. "I will go talk some sense into him."
He walked away as Weiss looked on with concern.
"I'll go with him." Weiss said as she walked down the stairs, and then her Sheikah Slate alerted her. "Huh? …Oh! Right, I ignored that." She chuckled sheepishly as she walked over to the Shrine, activating it and then walked in, surprising a few Rito who had witnessed it.

BGM: Shrine (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Akh Va'Quot. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, I offer this trial."
Windmills
Weiss stared at the fans and windmills in front of her, getting a good look at what she had to do. "Huh… okay…" She folded her arms as she looked around before spotting some stairs to her right. She walked over out of curiosity, turning to the right and finding a pool of water in front of her, a windmill next to her and at the far end of the pool was a switch up top with a fan at the bottom.
She also noticed some openings in the right wall, where she used her glyphs to get across and pulled out a Sapphire from one chest, and a Feathered Spear from another, which she put away in case she needed it.
She fired an arrow at the switch, causing the platform to flip over and had the fan blow into the windmill, causing the door to open behind it as she went over and pulled out an Ancient Core for her troubles.
She went back out to deal with the puzzle in front of her, going around and hitting the switches to try and get all the windmills to spin accordingly.
Through trial and error, she was able to complete the puzzle as the door opened up, and went off to collect her Spirit Orb.
End BGM
She walked out of the shrine and headed toward the entrance of the Rito Village where she prayed to the Goddess Statue in front of her, feeling an aura around her as she felt healthier and felt like she could run a few miles without feeling tired.
She got up and quickly took off toward the Flight Range, determination set in her face as she was ready to go and save her best friend no matter what. She saw Li closing in on the Flight Range while also effortlessly taking down some mounted Bokoblins, letting the horses gallop away.
As she got closer, her Sheikah Slate alerted her of a nearby shrine. "Oh!" She headed over toward it, seeing that it was close to the Flight Range. She activated the shrine and walked in.
"Hmm?" Li turned his head, hearing that the shrine activated. "Hmm… never seen it turn blue before." He mused before turning around and walked off, unaware of Weiss heading in.
BGM: Shrine
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Sha Warvo. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, I offer this trial."
Path of Hidden Winds
"Let's see what we got." Weiss said as she walked over to the first fan as she jumped up and used her Paraglider to have her fly up, where she proceeded to do the same on the following platforms, however she fired a Bomb Arrow at a Guardian Scout that was aiming directly at her, knocking it out for the count.
She opened the chest that it was guarding, pulling out a Purple Rupee as she hopped down and glided to the other fan, taking her up to the top as she found a pillar but there were no other fans to take her up.
"Hmmm…" She used the fan near her to glide around the pillar, finding a secret opening. "Aha!" She went inside and flew up to the top, then she noticed a lone treasure chest as she glided over to it and pulled out a Knight's Bow.
She put it away and then used the wind again to have her gently descend to the shrine and collected her Spirit Orb.
End BGM
She walked out and hurried to the Flight Range.
"Teba, you fool. You're planning on going at it alone?"
"Someone has to do it. If we don't take this Divine Beast down, then Rito Village is destroyed. We cannot safely fly out of our village without being threatened to be shot down. Someone has to take a stand, Li."
"I understand, but do you think it is wise to go alone? The last time we planned an assault, Harth and I got blasted out of the sky."
"Both of you recovered, haven't you?"
"Yes, but going at it alone is suicide!"
"And you training yourself up to try and tackle the Silver Lion alone isn't?"
Teba closed his eyes. "Apologies, Li… that was a bit far."
"It is alright. I fear that I may end up losing the fight and jeopardizing the livelihood of the village…" Li mumbled. "But that monster needs to be stopped."
"As does Vah Medoh." Teba said.
"Perhaps I can help you with both."
The men turned to see Weiss having climbed up the ladder to meet with them. "I can help you take care of Vah Medoh and the Silver Lion, the latter may be a bit far in the future, but I can help with that."
"...Who's the newcomer?" Teba asked.
"Weiss Schnee, a Lanayran."
"Hmm. I suspected them all to be extinct. Guess not." Teba stood up. "You look battle weary… but are you sure you're capable of fighting Vah Medoh?"
"Yes." Weiss nodded.
Teba folded his wings before handing her some Bomb Arrows. "Here, see if you can knock out five targets with these Bomb Arrows in this Flight Range. If you can knock them out within three minutes, then I suppose I'll allow you to lend a hand."
"Five targets within that time? I can do that." She said, taking some Bomb Arrows and pulling out the Knight's Bow. She immediately took a running start and jumped off.
"You seem to struggle in the air." Revali said.
"Aheheh… firing arrows in the air is harder than it looks."
"Nonsense! It's easy for me."
"That's because you're a Rito. I'm just a Lanayran."
"True." Revali chuckled.
"How do you do it though? Fire an arrow while flying seems to be more trouble than it looks."
"Well, when you're a natural in the air, things like this are second nature. But I can give you a few pointers. When you're in the air, just pretend you're on the ground and aim at the target, pull the string back and let it fly."
"That's how it normally goes for grounded folks!"
"Yes, however when you're in the air, you'll more than likely be fighting some cross wind. Don't fight the wind, become one with the wind. You'll be surprised on how accurate your shots will be. Don't be afraid to be a bit inaccurate too, the wind may help out with your shots as well."
"One with the wind…"
Weiss closed her eyes, taking a deep breath and nocked a Bomb Arrow. She fired an arrow into a target, as the arrow was lifted from the wind and directly hit the target.
She immediately spread her limbs out to make her fly back up, quickly firing arrows at some other targets, hitting them with pin point accuracy before hitting the last one at the top of the rock pillar in the middle.
"Impressive!" Teba said from below as Weiss glided back down. "Who taught you to compensate for the wind?"
"I had a great teacher." Weiss smiled fondly.
"Well, whoever this teacher was, they sure knew what they were doing." Teba chuckled. "Get as many Bomb Arrows as you can. Rito Village sells a lot of them… then I'll take you to Vah Medoh."
"Right." Weiss nodded and ran off.
"I'll join you as soon as I am able." Li said as he walked off.
"You're coming too, Li? You will need a ride."
Li smirked. "Who said anything about a "ride"?"
Teba raised an eyebrow. "What is he up to…?"
Several Bomb Arrows bought later…
"I got what I need." Weiss said.
"Excellent. Now hop on my back… we're going up."
With a nod, Weiss climbed onto his back as Teba took a running start and flew into the air.
BGM: Attacking Divine Beast Vah Medoh (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"Blast it, there's a blizzard coming!" Teba exclaimed as a snowstorm slammed into them. "It's not uncommon for blizzards to come from the Tabantha area, but I do not appreciate a white out in this scenario!"
"Just keep going forward! It's not that bad out."
"I've heard stories that Lanayrans are immune to the cold… and while it is true you're not wearing anything to protect yourself from the cold, may I remind you that I am not Lanayran."
"I know. Let's focus on Vah Medoh so we can get you warmed up later."
"Agreed. Alright, here's the plan. Vah Medoh is surrounded by a barrier and defends itself with those laser cannons. We need to use the Bomb Arrows to destroy the cannons."
"There's only four?"
"There used to be a lot more, but we Rito managed to destroy them. You're welcome for that."
"Good to know."
"When you're in a bind, let me know and I'll swoop in to nab you. Think you can do it?"
"Let's do this together!"
Teba nodded. "I'm right with you. Go!"
Weiss hopped off of Teba and then used her Paraglider to get her across while Teba pulled away and flew a different direction.
One cannon spotted Weiss and fired directly at her, but Weiss moved out of the way and aimed directly at the cannon, quickly firing a Bomb Arrow into the cannon to deal major damage toward it, but it didn't break on impact.
It's not destroyed? These things take a lot of damage… I can see why the Rito have a hard time with this!
Weiss fired another Bomb Arrow, destroying the laser cannon.
On the other side, Teba corkscrewed to avoid a laser, but he was a bit slow and it nailed him on the leg. "Nnngh!" Teba grunted, returning fire at the cannon, hitting it with two Bomb Arrows.
He then flew toward the beak while Weiss was dealing with another laser cannon, shooting two Bomb Arrows after dodging the laser as it barely grazed her, where it exploded once the Bomb Arrows hit.
"Got ya!" She said as she used her Paraglider to glide to where Teba was at as he was struggling with the last cannon, barely hitting it with one Bomb Arrow.
She whistled to get the laser's attention, and when it turned toward her, she fired a Bomb Arrow at the laser cannon, obliterating it and destroying the cannon, deactivating the force field.
End BGM
"Nice work!" Teba complimented as Weiss smiled as she moved over to Medoh. "Nnngh… dammit…"
"You okay?" Weiss asked.
"Bad news. One of Medoh's lasers got me good…" He winced. "I have to head back to the Flight Range… I hope I can make it. The rest is up to you!" He said and flew off.
"Right." She nodded as she turned around and started to walk when suddenly, a grappling hook latched onto Vah Medoh near Weiss. "Huh?" She turned around and saw the grappling hook, but noticed the hook was attacked to an arrow.
She then saw the rope attached to it starting to move into the arrow very quickly. She pulled out a Guardian Sword, ready to attack whoever decided to board Medoh.
To her pleasant surprise, Li climbed up. "Where's Teba?"
"He got injured, so he had to leave."
"Hmm… at least he didn't get himself killed." He said, picking up the grappling hook and pressed a button, as the hook turned back into an arrowhead as he put it away.
"A Grappling Hook arrow?"
"I've made it myself. In fact, I've made lots of "Trick Arrows"."
"Oooh. Nice." Weiss smiled as she walked over to the pedestal in Vah Medoh and put her Slate into it, activating it.
"Well, you took your sweet time getting here, "hero"."
"What in…?" Li wondered.
Weiss chuckled. "Sorry, bird brain. I just got caught up in something that made me sleep for a hundred years."
"Heh! Well, glad you woke up, "Sleeping Beauty"."
"I'm pretty sure I woke you up a little later… so who's the sleeping beauty here?"
"...Why… are you arguing with a spirit?" Li wondered.
"It's our thing, don't worry about it." Weiss reassured.
Li sweatdropped. You're an odd one…
Weiss looked into her Sheikah Slate and then proceeded to summon not only Penny and Terrako, but she also summoned Mipha and Daruk as well.
"Salutations!" Penny greeted.
"What in… huh, why are we up in the air…? Wait a moment, are we on Vah Medoh?"
"Well, look who it is. The princess and the Goron Hero."
"Hey! Revali! Good to see ya! Er… hear ya!"
Mipha smiled. "Do not worry, Revali. We'll be rescuing you too."
"Fellow ghosts rescuing a deceased friend… how about that…"
Li's eyes widened. "Now I know why your name is familiar. You were one of Hyrule's Champion a hundred years ago!"
Weiss nodded. "I was Princess Ruby's Mage Knight, and friends with the fellow champions. Mipha, Daruk, Revali and… um…"
"Urbosa." Mipha said.
"Right, Urbosa." Who…?
"Do you have unfinished business?"
"Actually, I'm the only one alive… but I've lost my memories. I've slowly been recovering them."
"I see. My condolences to you and your fallen allies." Li bowed humbly. "Allow me to assist you in rescuing your friend."
He then looked toward Penny and Terrako. "I'm assuming these two are champions as well?"
"Champions in robotics? I guess so!" Penny shrugged as Terrako booped. "I'm Penny Pollendina and this is my little bro, Terrako!"
"Nice to meet you. I am Li Ren."
"Li Ren? As in Kuroyuri's Village Elder?" Penny asked. "Oooh, mom told me stories about your village!"
Li nodded. "Unfortunately, the Silver Lion destroyed my home and slaughtered lots. The remaining few fled for Rito Village. I was the last one out when I made sure the Silver Lion was stunned."
"Silver Lion? I've had an encounter with the big guy myself!" Daruk said.
"You have?!" Weiss said in surprise.
"Yeah, dude was strollin' through Death Mountain so I thought I'd give him a good ol' Goron welcome."
"Let's see if you like this, you monster!" Daruk said as he had Rudania slam it's foot down to crush the Lynel. "Hahahaha!"
Rudania lifted his foot as Daruk looked down to see the Lynel burst out of the ground that he was buried in and climbed up the Divine Beast.
"Hello!" Daruk exclaimed as the Platinum Lynel made his way on top of the beast to confront Daruk. "Alright, seems like it's my turn to kick butt!" He pulled out his weapon as he and the Silver Lion engaged in battle.
"We had a heck of a fight, but in the end, it ended up in a draw. He seemed to respect my power and left before I could do anything else."
"So you fought that thing and lived…" Li whispered.
"Sure did! …Of course, the Calamity had to go and do me in, doesn't that figure."
"Goodness me… I'm glad you had your Protection with you." Mipha said.
Daruk rubbed his upper lip. "Didn't use it!"
"...What?!"
"That… sounds about right." Weiss grimaced.
"Master Daruk… if I ever come across this beast again, will you be by my side?"
"I'll try to come as quick as I can!" Daruk nodded.
"Thank you."
"Hmm?" Mipha noticed Weiss's dragon tattoo. "Weiss, what is that on your arm?"
"Oh this? It's the power of Dinraal."
"Power of… who now?" Mipha asked in surprise.
"So he did grant you his power! What'd you do?" Daruk asked.
"Went to the Spring of Power and did Din's Trial with Dinraal's Scale. After I completed it, I was granted the ability to use Din's Fire."
She put her hand up and activated her, her eyes changing as everyone looked on.
"Dragon eyes…" Mipha breathed in awe. "Fascinating…"
"And here I thought the power of the Dragon was a myth. Good to know!" Daruk mused. "But enough about that. Let's go get Revali!"
"Yes, please. Before ice queen over here turns into an actual dragon on us."
BGM: Vah Medoh Shrine A (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"Hang on!" Penny immediately used the same spray she used before on both Weiss and Li. "There we go."
"What's this for?" Li wondered.
"There's going to be a lot of malice. It's intoxicating to the point where it replaxes the oxygen in the area." Penny explained.
"...That's horrific."
"Indeed!" Penny nodded.
"Let's go." Weiss said as they went off inside of Vah Medoh, where they would see a few Guardian Scouts inside, but were quickly taken care of by everyone. Weiss then lined up the metal platforms as she and Li walked across before they found the Guidance Stone that held the map.
"I can't help but notice that the SOS is not immediate…" Penny mused. "It was immediate in Ruta and Rudania, but it's not coming in until later…"
"Didn't realize you were in trouble until it was too late, huh?" Weiss guessed.
"I thought I could handle it… unfortunately, it was night time by the time I got to Medoh. The cherry on top was that I don't see very well at night. You can guess how it went."
Weiss frowned. "Right… Rito aren't equipped to see well at night… but don't worry, we'll destroy this monster for you."
Weiss put the Sheikah Slate into it, which in turn caused the map for Medoh to appear on her Slate. Penny immediately copied it and brought it up for everyone to see from the hologram.
"Three on the left wing, two on the right…" Li mused.
"Unfortunately, only Weiss can activate these. So when we locate them, we just have to wait until Weiss comes over." Penny explained.
Terrako let out a few boops.
"You're right. I should definitely ask mom for something like that." Penny nodded.
"I can see why. Only she has the Sheikah Slate." Li nodded as he pulled out a few arrows and handed them to Weiss.
"What are these?"
"Teleportation Arrows. Crafted them when I scavenged for Guardian parts. This will teleport you over to us. That way, you don't have to travel wing to wing."
"Oh, cool!" Weiss smiled.
"Technology sure has come a long way…" Daruk said, scratching his head.
"Yes… and technology has also nearly brought Hyrule to extinction." Mipha added.
"True… but then again, no one suspected Ganon to hijack technology."
The group spread out as Weiss went over to the left wing, where she was deep in thought over how Daruk managed to survive the Silver Lion.
If he had Rudania crush the Platinum Lynel… then what would have happened if…?
Inside Weiss's imagination…
Daruk swung his weapon into Fireblight, knocking him off of Rudania and crashed into the ground. Fireblight let out a groan before he looked up to see Rudania having raised its foot and slammed down on him. He let out a shriek before he instantly got flattened.
"That was easy!"
Back in reality…
Of course, he'd be the only champion still conscious… Weiss thought. Poor guy'd be by himself…
SMASH!
"Wah!" Weiss yelped as she spotted a stone pushed into a switch to open up a door. She also noticed pieces of metal gates lying on the ground.
"Gonna be honest, I didn't think that'd work…" Daruk said.
Mipha sweatdropped. "So much for using the wind…"
Weiss walked over to the terminal to activate it, chuckling at Daruk's antics before firing a Teleportation Arrow through the cell on the other side, warping over to where it landed as she activated the terminal, which opened up the cell door.
Weiss aimed the bow with another Teleportation Arrow across the way, landing near Li as she teleported near him.
"Disorienting?"
"Not in the slightest." Weiss smiled as Penny picked her up and took her to the terminal up on a ledge as she activated it.
Nearby, Terrako had crawled through a small crawl space, finding a rock sculpture where he immediately blew it up with a laser. He then went over and opened up a rock wall and found a metal sphere.
He went inside and started pushing it and rolling it toward the switch, lining it up and turned to Weiss, booping at her.
"You got it!" Weiss nodded, using the controls to tilt Medoh to the side as the ball started rolling and hit the switch, opening the door as Weiss walked in and activated the terminal inside.
They headed over to the wing as Weiss fired another Teleportation Arrow to get to the other side and activated the Terminal, all the while Daruk and Mipha were taking care of any Malice Eyes they found.
"You found them all. Terrific! Now head to the final one outside."
End BGM
Penny picked up Weiss and flew up to the top where the others went toward as well. Weiss stared at the final terminal and clenched her fists. "You guys ready?"
Mipha brought out her trident. "Ready."
Daruk held his Boulder Breaker. "Let's rock and roll!"
Penny summoned her blades. "I'm ready!"
Terrako bopped, pulling out his Guardian swords.
"I suspect we are ready for a fight." Li said as he held his bow.
Weiss pulled out the Biggoron Sword, strapping it to her back and then put her Sheikah Slate onto the terminal, where darkness shot out of the terminal and started to form into Windblight Ganon.
"That's the jackass who clipped my wings a century ago… only because I was winging it!"
"Of course you were."
"Don't just stand there… avenge me!"
"Loud and clear." Weiss said, giving Windblight a cold glare before unsheathing Biggoron.
BGM: Windblight Ganon Phase One (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
Windblight immediately aimed and fired wind bullets at Weiss, knocking her back but she quickly recovered as Mipha twirled her trident around as water conjured around it as she proceeded to throw water directly at it.
Li pulled out a Shock Arrow and fired at Mipha's water, electrocuting Windblight as it convulsed for a few seconds as Penny flew over and swung her blades at it, then Daruk swung his Boulder Breaker down to create rock pillars, where Terrako climbed up on one and fired a laser while Daruk rolled right into him.
Windblight fired more shots at them, where Weiss created glyphs and jumped off, slashing down at Windblight to knock it down right when Li fired a Shock Arrow at Windblight's eye, causing it to shriek and fell to the ground where Weiss landed on the ground with him and laid into him, complete with a powerful spin attack as Mipha launched herself up into the air and created orbs of water above him.
Penny flew up, rubbed her hands together as electricity crackled in her hands and proceeded to dip them in the water, electrocuting them as electrical watery spikes rained down and struck Windblight.
End BGM
With a shriek, Windblight got up and let out a roar, quickly creating tornadoes.
BGM: Windblight Ganon Phase Two (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"I think we made it angry." Li said.
"Faster than I thought it'd be." Weiss said as Windblight summoned little laser cannons as it fired at everyone, but Penny quickly used her own lasers to block them.
Terrako hitched a ride in a tornado and was knocked into the air, but he flipped himself over and charged up before firing a massive laser that struck Windblight right as a tornado went past him. Windblight let out a growl, aiming its cannon arm and started to machine gun fire at everyone.
Li hid behind a pillar for cover as he pulled out an arrow that had a dragon head for the tip. He clenched his fist and nocked the arrow into the bow, aiming directly at Windblight. The arrow lit up as electricity rolled around Li's arm where his eyes temporarily turned draconic.
"The power of Farosh consumes you!"
He let the arrow fly, which immediately transformed into a spiraling two headed electrical dragon. Windblight turned around when he heard the draconic roars… and got consumed by the electrical dragons.
"What in…?" Weiss turned to Li. "The power of the dragon?"
Li chuckled. "I will tell you later."
Weiss smiled, turning around as she activated the power of Dinraal, transferring the fire toward Biggoron as she jumped into the air toward a convulsing Windblight and Din's Fire Slashed him, creating an explosion.
Once the smoke dissipated, Windblight was nothing more than a puddle of malice.
End BGM
With a nod, Weiss walked over to the final terminal to activate it, feeling a sense of healthy power surge through her.
She shifted her eyes and quickly pulled out her crossbow, nocking a Bomb Arrow into it and fired at the bubbling malice.
BGM: Imminent Threat (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
Penny joined in and fired lasers at it, but the malice quickly dodged it and went around to avoiding being hit.
"How can this be so squirrely!" Weiss growled.
"I got it!" Daruk jumped in and swung his Boulder Breaker down, but it wrapped around the weapon and jumped off. "...I had it!"
Mipha sprayed water at it as Terrako quickly fired lasers but it flew up into the air and grabbed a hold of Revali the moment he flew down to greet them.
"Whoa!" Revali yelped as he tried to fly away as it grabbed a hold of his talon. Weiss desperately fired a bomb arrow but the malice shot its way up and wrapped around Revali before the arrow could hit.
"Dammit!" Weiss cursed under her breath.
"Nnngh…! What's going… on…?!" Revali demanded as he landed on the ground, trying to fight it off with Revali's Gale, but it stuck to him like glue before he was fully consumed in it.
Revali aimed his wing directly toward Weiss, unleashing a powerful wind spell that she tried to avoid, but was knocked off of Medoh.
"WEISS!" They yelled/booped as Penny quickly activated her thrusters and flew after her.
Weiss aimed her Hookshot and fired, but it just barely missed Medoh's beak. "Crap…!" She growled.
Suddenly, Medoh let out a loud cry as a wind barrier suddenly broke Weiss's fall. The wind barrier wrapped around Weiss immediately after.
"Be one with the wind…" Revali's voice echoed in her head.
BGM: Revali, Ace Archer & Aviator (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
Weiss opened her eyes, manipulating the wind behind her as she propelled herself high into the air, blasting past Penny. "Whoa!" Penny exclaimed as Weiss launched herself over Medoh and landed gracefully in front of Revali.
"Let's go, beak breath." Weiss said, readying her sword as Revali prepared his bow.
Revali flew up high into the air, proceeding to shower Weiss with arrows as she grabbed her Hylian Shield and blocked with her shield, also activating Daruk's Protection to protect the rest of her body.
Revali corkscrewed into her where she parried him away with her shield, then pulled out her Crossbow and fired a few Shock Arrows, striking Revali. Revali sneered as he flew down and kicked Weiss, but vaulted over her and aimed his bow at her from behind.
"You're good…" Weiss whispered, quickly using Daruk's Protection again to have an arrow bounce off of her, where she manipulated the wind around her.
"But I'm better!"
She quickly spun around to create a tornado, but also activated Dinraal's Power, creating a fire tornado that sucked Revali in and spat him out as Weiss used her wind magic to boost her over to him and slashed him down, gracefully landing and sliding on the ground.
Revali recovered and fired a few Bomb Arrows, circling around Weiss to create a smoke screen for him, but Weiss manipulated the wind to blow the smoke away… right as Revali dive bombed into her and sent her crashing into the ground, pinning her on the ground and having his foot on her stomach, talons digging deep while his other talon embedded into her left shoulder.
"Weiss!" Li aimed his bow at Revali, but Daruk gently put his arm down.
"Hang on… I want to see what she does."
Weiss snapped out of her daze, only to see a Bomb Arrow inches from her face with Revali coldly looking at her.
"You always were better than I am… but there's one thing that always was your downfall… it's your overconfidence!"
Weiss used her free right hand to aim her Crossbow at him, but he backhanded it away right as she fired a Bomb Arrow, causing the arrow to fly away. "Heh… go on then… hit me with that arrow. You always did one up me every time." She dared.
Revali pulled back the string, ready to fire directly at Weiss's face, unaware of her fingers slightly moving.
Suddenly, an explosion rocked Revali in the back, making him stumble and releasing her as she rolled out of the way. She had secretly used the wind to bring back the Bomb Arrow she had launched.
Weiss sprang back up as Revali turned around and fired, but she used the last of Daruk's Protection as she pulled out her Hookshot as Revali flew up in the air, but she fired it and latched onto his ankle and yanked him toward her, quickly pulling out one of her Gold Gauntlets as her gauntlet burst into blue flame as she pulled back and fire punched him, knocking him straight into a wall.
The blue flames erupted all over Revali, burning away the rest of the malice until none remained.
End BGM
"I'll be darned…" Li said.
Weiss walked over toward Revali, putting her gauntlet away as she knelt down. "You okay there, bud?" She asked, reaching toward him.
Smack!
"Ooof!" Weiss grunted as Revali had smacked her upside the head. "What was that for!"
BGM: Revali's Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"That was for slugging me in the face, ice queen."
"Well, that was for impaling me with those talons of yours, feather butt!"
"My talons are vastly superior compared to those sad displays you call "toenails"."
"At least they're not sharp enough to cut through skin!"
"Ah, you'll live! But that was a dirty trick with that wind magic of yours."
"Says the guy who did that bombable smokescreen!"
"Get a room, you two." Daruk said, hearing Mipha snicker.
"Are they normally like this?" Li wondered.
"These two boneheads bickered all the time." Daruk chuckled.
"Ice queen!"
"Bird brain!"
The two sneered at each other with cold glares… before they burst out laughing and hugged each other. "Ah, how I missed our banters." He said.
"I'm sorry it took me long enough to save you…"
"You took your sweet time, yes… but better late than never." Revali said as he stood up. "And I'm thankful you didn't have Daruk helping you out. I'd be having a migraine if he hit me once."
"Nonsense, I would've gone easy on ya!" Daruk grinned.
"Clearly." Revali chuckled before giving Mipha the "sup" nod as Mipha giggled. "Ah, that reminds me… since someone over here is the master of the winds all of a sudden, I suppose it would make sense if I were to… share my talents." He said, spreading his wings up high as wind wrapped around Weiss.
"You're giving me your Gale?"
"Think of it as thanks for getting me out of that hellhole." Revali said as he turned around. "Now then, allow me to set this bird down!"
Down below…
The residents of Rio Village heard the loud cries of Medoh, and before they knew it, they saw it descending towards them. They all started to panic in fear, but it died down when they saw it was not going to attack them.
Instead, it gently landed on top of the rock, roosting as it spread its wings out and aimed a laser pointer directly toward Hyrule Castle.
"What do you know… she tamed the beast." Teba said with a smile as Weiss descended on the ground using the wind. "Weiss, you tamed Vah Medoh!"
"I wasn't the only one who did it." She said as she was joined by the others, where Revali landed on Revali's Landing.
Teba gasped, seeing Revali in front of him. "Th-that's… Revali…!"
"Mhm." Weiss nodded. "Freed him up from the calamity."
"Hey." Revali greeted as the Rito gasped in surprise before flocking over to him. "Wh-whoa! Hey! Hey! Easy…! Guys, a little help?"
"I'm sure you can handle a crowd like this!" Weiss chuckled.
"Yeah!" Daruk nodded with Mipha agreeing.
"Oi… this is a bit much…"
"A word, Weiss. In private." Li spoke up as Weiss turned to him and with a nod, the two of them walked down the stairs.
"What do you want to talk about?"
"You might have noticed what I have used earlier."
"The power of the Dragon… I remember it." She nodded. "Were you visited by one?"
"I was." He nodded. "You see… some time ago…"

"I was by myself at Lake Hylia, needing to be alone for a while. It had been two weeks after that dreadful attack. I was angry… and I searched tirelessly for the Silver Lion. I stopped at the bridge to collect my thoughts. And that's when I was met with fate."
The wind started to howl around Li, making him look around in surprise. "Crosswind…?"
He heard a roar as he looked up and saw Farosh.
BGM: Dragon (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"As if fate would have it, I had met Farosh. It would seem as if he felt pity on my circumstances…"
Farosh roared as a scale lit up and launched itself toward Li, where he grabbed it and looked at it in curiosity.
"I was told to go to the Spring of Courage, and luckily, it was close by. I made my way to the Dracozu Lake and offered it to the goddess. I was given guidance toward the shrine… but as luck would have it, it would not let me in."
"No… you direct me toward this Shrine and you won't let me in…?!" Li said in dismay, falling on his knees.
"I was convinced that Hylia decided to taunt me about my failure of protecting Kuroyuri from the Silver Lion… I might have despaired for a while, but as I was about to leave the Spring of Courage…"
"Do not despair… you have been given a gift from Farosh."
"What gift? I am being taunted…"
"No. Offer me the scale once more… and pull out an arrow."
Li dipped the scale into the lake and dipped some arrows into it, where they started to glow brightly. Electricity wrapped around the water and went up Li's arm, where a draconic lightning shaped tattoo appeared on his wrist.
"You have been given Farosh's Arrow. With this, you can use this arrow as many times as you'd like. It activates its special power by an enchantment. You have the power of the dragon with you. May you use it against the abomination that is the Silver Lion."

"Farosh's Arrow… and it can be used a lot?"
"Yes. It reappears in my quiver every time I use it. However, as I'm not magically gifted, I have to use it at the right moment… otherwise, I will not have the strength to move for a short period of time."
"Oh…"
Li nodded. "I was lucky that the Blight was distracted. I hope I may use this well against the beast."
"I hope so too."
Her Sheikah Slate went off, prompting Weiss to pull it out and looked at the screen, seeing that she could now summon more folks.
Li Ren
Revali
"I guess I'm summonable now." Li mused.
"Yup."
At that moment, both of them heard a cry of distress from the distance. Weiss turned to the source as she saw a Moblin swinging its club at something.
Without even hesitating, Weiss launched herself off of the platform with her wind, boosting herself toward the Moblin as she cut through the Moblin's head to knock it down to the ground.
"Alright, what were you bullying…" She wondered as she turned to see a small eagle battered to the ground, barely breathing. It wasn't just any eagle though… it was a bald eagle.
"Oh, you poor thing…" She whispered as she gently knelt down and put her hands on the eagle, gently healing it up.
The Bald Eagle let out a curious yet thankful cry as Weiss gently petted its head. "There we go… good as new." She smiled as she turned around and walked off, but the eagle cried and then flew up, landing on her shoulder.
"Oh! You want to travel along with me?" She asked as the eagle nodded. She smiled. "Okay!" She giggled. "I never really had a pet, so I think a bald eagle would be great." She said as she rubbed her chin in thought. "What do I call you though…"
An idea came to her.
"I got it. I think I'll call you after one of the bravest warriors I know. I'll call you… Revali."
Meanwhile…
"Mmmm…" Revali rubbed his chest.
"Are you alright, master Revali?" Teba asked.
"I don't know why… but I suddenly feel all warm and fuzzy."
And now Revali's saved. Yay!
