One week had passed since the school year started, and the CHS or Canterlot Academy students were now fully settled into their classes. In terms of their Duel Monster classes, everyone had taken the first week to try all the beginner courses, and soon they were all placed into their proper dorms. As for Mario and Roll, the two siblings gained some traction after Pipp's videos were uploaded to the school website. The boy wanted to avoid the small level of attraction due to personal reasons.

Mario was walking into his classroom for Duel Monsters when he saw several students talking amongst themselves. If it wasn't bad enough that he attracted attention with his duel, it was bad enough that Pipp, of all people, was also in his Fusion Class, as he knew the girl had a fascination with him. And the cherry on top was that their assigned seats put them next to each other at a long table.

"HHHEEEYYY!" said Pipp as she appeared next to the boy.

"Why me?" mumbled Mario, wondering why the universe had to give me a bad hand.

"So..."

"No!" answered the boy to the girl before she could finish what she was going to say.

"You didn't know what I was gonna say?" the girl responded.

"No, but I know what you're thinking," replied the boy as he turned his head.

"Rude," stated Pipp before she took her seat.

Soon the bell rang, which signaled the start of class. Entering through the door was the teacher for the Fusion Courses; the professor was a woman who wore a velvet business dress. She had brilliant sap-green eyes, pale, light grayish rose, and grayish mulberry hair with a slight curl at the end, and her skin was light gray.

"Good morning, class. My name is Sweetie Belle, and I'll be your Fusion Instructor," said the woman as she stood before her class. "You know, it wasn't long ago that I was a student at CHS, like you all. Now back then, things were way different. For one, we lacked the finances to teach Duel Monsters in class. Everything we learned, we learned on our own time. But thanks to one person, CHS has expanded and grown much more. By the time I was graduating, the programs were off the ground and running."

Sweetie Belle's response got a reaction from some of the students. To think that not only was their teacher a former student, but things were vastly different when she was studying here.

"After I graduated with my friends, I was offered a position by Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna to become a teacher here at CHS, and since then, I've been teaching the future generation of duelists in the way of Fusion," said Sweetie Belle as most of the students applauded her story to show respect.

Soon a hand shot up.

"Yes?" said Sweetie Belle.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" asked Pipp as she stood up with her phone and hit record.

Sweetie stood there slack-jawed as the girls in the class giggled, and the boys stared intently, minus Mario. "N-Not at the moment, no," she answered without thinking before silently berating herself for not having ignored or shut down the question as irrelevant. Thinking about how to change the subject, she cleared her throat.

"Now, how many of you know what Fusion Summoning is?" Sweetie Belle asked her class as a sea of hands was raised. "Now, what is Fusion Summoning? Can anyone tell me?"

"Fusion Summoning is one the special summoning methods that duelists can use in a duel. The Big Four summoning methods are Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and Pendulum," answered a student.

"Correct. But what makes Fusion Summoning special? How does it stand out from the other three?" asked Sweetie Belle.

"It requires you to combine monsters together," said a student.

"Yes, but there's more. Let me clarify: What are the strengths and weaknesses of Fusion Summoning? Anyone?" asked Sweetie Belle.

The students looked at themselves as they tried to figure out what their teacher said. Sweetie Belle looked around the room as she was looking for the answer to the question she asked.

"Come on, now! Someone must have the answer. Anyone." said Sweetie Belle.

The woman looked around, but again, no one spoke.

"Very well," sighed Sweetie Belle as she prepared to speak. "Fusion Summoning..."

"Fusion Summon's main weakness is that it suffers from you having 'Polymerization,' meaning that a player's ability to Fusion is usually limited by the number of 'Polymerization' they have. In addition, the more monsters used to fusion means, the less flexibility in choosing which monsters to be used in a Fusion Summon. However, the key advantage Fusion Summoning has over Synchro, Pendulum, and Xyz Summoning is that monsters in the player's hand can be used as Fusion Materials, thus removing the need to spend more resources summoning those materials in most cases. In addition, many Fusion Summon-oriented archetypes have their own versions of 'Polymerization'; most of which can be searched and recycled, allowing the player to reuse them multiple times and perform more Fusion Summons."

The others were all shocked. Especially, Pipp, she didn't expect the boy beside her to say that. Sweetie Belle, on the other hand, smiled.

"Correct, Mr... Mario," said the woman as she lifted her clipboard and saw the teen's photo beside his name on her attendance sheet. The teacher was impressed by the boy's answer.

He is really is like his father.

"But yes, you're right. A player can Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck by activating a card or effect that performs a Fusion Summon. When that effect resolves, the player uses appropriate Fusion Materials listed on a Fusion Monster by moving them from some location(s) to another location, as specified by the effect performing the Fusion Summon. After that, the player Summons the Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck to an unoccupied Main Monster Zone or an Extra Monster Zone in a face-up Attack or Defense Position. Even if all appropriate Monster Zones are occupied, a Fusion Monster can still be Fusion Summoned as long as at least one of the Fusion Materials used is in one of these Zones so that there is an available Zone when the Fusion Monster is Summoned. Like other Extra Deck monsters, if a Fusion Monster is not Fusion Summoned first, it cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard or while banished."

As Sweetie Belle explained, the students noted what she was saying and jotted it down. The woman kept speaking as Pipp took an opportunity to tap Mario's shoulder.

"Psst, hey. How did you know that answer?" whispered the social media teen to the boy.

"I just knew. My... parents had told me this when Roll and I were young," said Mario.

"Huh, wow," stated Pipp as she was even more impressed by the boy she had a crush on.

A clearing of one's throat was heard as Pipp's face reddened. She turned her head and saw Sweetie Belle looking in her direction; the woman had her arms crossed as she didn't appreciate the girl interrupting her lecture. The girl smiled before sinking into her seat and falling under the table. Mario rolled his eyes but soon cracked a small smile.

After saying goodbye to her brother, Roll began to go to her dueling class. The girl arrived at her classroom as she entered. The number of students taking the Xyz course was smaller than the other summoning methods. Mostly because Xyz Summoning itself was one of the hardest summoning methods to do, let alone master.

Roll sat down in her seat and pulled out her notebook. The girl arranged all her writing supplies perfectly on her desk as soon the teacher for the Xyz course came in. The door opened as someone pushed in a small ramp which confused everyone. Soon a sound was heard as a blur zoomed into the room before stopping. Unlike most teachers wearing dresses or suits, she was a woman who wore nothing but a t-shirt with a black skull and a pair of jorts and gym shoes. She had moderate purple eyes, moderate cerise hair, and light gamboge skin.

"Sup, gang!" said the woman as she rode in on a scooter. She then took off as she hopped off the ramp, doing some tricks in the air before landing, screeching to a halt, and facing her class. "Name's Scootaloo. And I'll be your teach when it comes to Xyz Summoning."

The students were impressed by what their teacher did and began applauding. Scootaloo soaked in all the attention and praise from her class as she bowed.

"Thanks, y'all," said Scootaloo as she tossed her scooter to the side, making a crash sound, with animal noises following. "Now then, I do stuff in my class differently. For the rest of the year, you will work with someone. So, find yourself a partner."

The students began to do what their teacher asked. They got up and were looking for someone to partner with. Roll remained at her desk as she scanned the room, trying to see who would be the best partner for her.

"Wanna be partners?" said a voice.

Roll turned as standing next to her was Sunny. The girl was also taking the Xyz course and was placed in the Xyz dorm. She saw Roll and figured she wanted to be partners with her.

"Sure," nodded Roll as she scooted over and allowed Sunny to sit beside her.

"Thanks. Nice to meet you. I'm Sunny Starscout."

"Nice to meet you, Sunny. I'm Roll," said the girl as they shook hands. "So, you're taking the Xyz course, huh?"

"Yup. Given how tough it can be, I see it as a challenge," said Sunny.

"Alright, y'all. Hope you found someone 'cause my line of thinking when it comes to teaching is it's much easier when you got someone to cover your back," said Scootaloo as she sat in her chair and placed her feet on her desk. "That and you can ask them for your homework when you forget to do it. I remember those days when I was a student."

"You used to be a student?" Sunny was amazed by that fact.

"Oh, yeah. How else do you explain how awesome I am?" said Scootaloo with a smirk. "I mean, there's only one other person in the world that's more awesome than me, but we're not talking about that. I may not look like it, but I do know my stuff. For example, anybody can tell me what Xyz Summoning is?"

"I can," said Sunny as she spoke up, "Xyz Summoning is one of the special summoning methods that can occur in a duel. To perform an Xyz Summoning, you must overlay at least 2 monsters of the same level."

"Very good, Ms... Starscout," stated Scootaloo as she quickly glanced at her attendance sheet to see the image of the girl that answered. "However, I'm saying overlay, as if you all know what that means. Can anyone explain to me what overlaying is exactly?"

"Overlaying is essentially a duelist vertically stacking their monsters on each other with the same level," a student answered.

"Correct. Now that we know what overlaying is, how do you Xyz Summon?" asked Scoots.

"During their Main Phase, the turn player can Xyz Summon an Xyz Monster from their Extra Deck by vertically stacking two or more, if required, face-up monsters with the same Level as the Xyz Monster's Rank that are listed on it as Xyz Materials. After that, the player Summons the Xyz Monster from the Extra Deck in face-up Attack or Defense Position to an unoccupied Main Monster Zone, placing it on top of the stacked Xyz Materials. The Materials used are attached under the Xyz Monster until later detached by Card Effects. They become overlay units that circle the monster in the duel itself."

"Very good, Ms. Roll. You know your stuff," said Scootaloo, thoroughly impressed by the girl's knowledge. "And as she said, Xyz monsters have Ranks, not Levels. So cards or effects that say they change a monster's level don't apply to them. That's one advantage you have when facing a situation like that. However, there's more to Xyz monsters that make them stand out than the other monsters and their special summoning methods. For example, Monsters that do not have Levels, such as Xyz Monsters, cannot normally be used as Xyz Materials for an Xyz Summon unless played otherwise."

"But don't you need a free space to Xyz summon a monster?" asked a student.

"Good question, and the answer is... no," answered Scootaloo as that got a few confused looks, "See, a dueling field is made up of five monster zones and five spell and trap cards zones. Now if all your monster zones are filled, you can still summon an Xyz monster. Even if all appropriate Monster Zones are occupied, an Xyz Monster can still be Xyz Summoned as long as at least one of the Xyz Materials used is in one of these Zones so that there is an available Zone when the Xyz Monster is Summoned."

Scootaloo then took her feet off the desk and grabbed a remote. She turned on the projector as a screen came on behind her. It was a holographic diagram that showed a dueling mat. Soon five images of monsters appeared, occupying one of the main five monster zones.

"Okay, so let me demonstrate. I have five monsters, each taking up a zone. As you all know, a duelist can only have five monsters at a time on their field. So while I do have five monsters, I can still Xyz Summon. Take the monsters with the same level, such as these two Level 4's, and place them on top of each other in one of their zones. Then your Xyz monster is placed on top of them. Now, you not only have an Xyz monster, but you opened up a free zone to summon another monster."

The students were amazed and impressed by what Scootaloo was showing them.

"You all like that, huh?" smiled Scootaloo. "Good, 'cause there's gonna be a test at the end of class to see if you paid attention. So start taking notes, kids."

The students obeyed her command and jotted down notes on what she did.

"Okay, moving on. Xyz Monsters frequently have effects that require you to remove an Xyz Material(s) from beneath it, or as you sometimes can call them, overlay units. This is known as detaching. When this happens, take the necessary Xyz Materials, and put them in the Graveyard. When you're dueling, the material is absorbed into your monster, " Scootaloo continued her lesson.

"Xyz Materials currently attached to an Xyz Monster are neither treated as monsters nor treated as being on the field. If an Xyz monster is banished from the field, any materials still attached to it are sent to the Graveyard while the Xyz monster is removed from the game."

"Does the position in which you summon the Xyz monster matter?" asked a student.

"Nope. The battle positions of the monsters to be used as Xyz Material does not matter as long as they are in a face-up position. However, once you have Xyz Summoned your Xyz Monster, ensure that the entire stack is neatly aligned in face-up Attack Position, regardless of which Battle position the Xyz Monster is currently in." answered Scootaloo. "Now, another thing I want to mention, what happens if you bring back an Xyz monster from the Graveyard after it's destroyed? Does it still have its Xyz materials?"

"An Xyz Monster Special Summoned via any means other than an Xyz Summon will not have any Xyz Materials unless given to it by a card effect," answered Roll.

"Correct, Ms. Roll. Remember this: If an Xyz Monster leaves the field or otherwise ceases to be a monster, its Xyz Materials are sent to the Graveyard unless the card effect says otherwise."

The students scribbled that crucial piece of information that Scootaloo said.

"Now, here's more info you all should remember. If an Xyz Monster is flipped face-down, its Xyz Materials remain attached. Trap Monsters and Pseudo-Trap Monsters can be used as Xyz Materials. Don't worry; you don't need to know what they are. We'll cover that lesson when we get there." said Scootaloo. "And lastly, an Xyz Summon is a kind of built-in Special Summon, like Pendulum Summon, Synchro Summon, or the Special Summon of a monster like "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning"; therefore, it does not start a Chain."

"What's a Chain?" asked a student.

"Good question, another topic we'll cover. But I can indulge you all. So what do I mean when I say Chain? A Chain is a stack that determines the order of resolution of activated cards and effects. Cards and effects go on a Chain if and only if they activate. Chains are used when a card or effect is activated before another activated card or effect resolves. Each player can respond to each activation by activating another card or effect, which we call "Chaining." Each activation is placed on the Chain as a Chain Link, with the first activation being Chain Link 1. Players follow Fast Effect Timing rules when adding effects to the chain."

Scootaloo's answer got confused looks in the classroom as the students didn't seem to understand what she was saying. The woman chuckled as she expected this type of reaction; she certainly had it when learning from the person who used to tutor her as a student.

"Don't sweat. We'll talk more about these as the year goes on. But just know what I'm saying will become clear with time; you can also understand them with lots of practice duels. But let me finish; if neither player responds to the most recent Chain Link, the Chain resolves, with Chain Links resolving in the opposite order they were activated in. Cards and effects can only be added to a Chain while constructed. Once a Chain starts to resolve, cards and effects cannot be activated until the entire Chain has resolved."

The entire classroom took in what their teacher said as they wrote down and listened to the rest of Scootaloo's lecture till the end of class.

"And one more thing, I want to talk about Xyz Summoning. Certain cards and monsters have a special ability that says, when used to Xyz summon, the card can count as two tributes. Does that mean you get two overlay units using that sole monster to Xyz Summon your Xyz monster?

"Y-Yes?" responded a student.

"You would think that. But no. Even though it says it can count as two tributes, you're still just using one monster. Therefore, your Xyz Monster will have just one Xyz Material. So it's a cheap and fast way to bust out your heavy hitters, but know it comes at a price of having one less overlay unit to activate your monster's effects." stated Scootaloo.

Izzy was bouncing along the hallway to her class. The girl was singing a little song to herself. She stopped by her locker and spun it with one rotation as the lock was unlocked. The girl then reached into her locker to grab some stuff; she put them all in her backpack before shutting it with her foot and taking off.

At the same time she was heading to class, another person was also shown walking. Hitch was focused on looking at his schedule while looking for his classroom. He was too focused on the small piece of paper that he didn't see where he was going and bumped into Izzy, who had turned the corner.

"Ow!" said the girl as she fell to the floor.

"Whoops, sorry, my bad. Didn't see you there," said Hitch as he got up and began to help up the girl he bumped into.

"No worries. Happens all the time," smiled Izzy, as she was used to this sort of thing.

"Really?" asked Hitch as he picked up her backpack.

"Oh, yeah. Back home, bumping into someone was a way to meet new people. Cause you have to talk to them." stated the female teen.

"That's... unique," said Hitch. "Sorry again, though. My name's Hitch."

"Izzy Moonbow," said the girl as she shook his hand.

The two then turned as they entered their classroom. They were welcome to the other students in their class as they looked at the teacher's desk. There was a woman with a pink bow in her hair, a pair of cowboy boots, and a leather farmer vest as she pulled out an apple and set it on her desk. She had brilliant tangelo eyes, brilliant crimson hair, and pale, light grayish apple-green skin.

"Howdy, y'all. My name is Apple Bloom, and I'll be your Synchro instructor for this course," said the woman. "Now then, name?"

"Hitch Trailblazer."

"Izzy Moonbow."

"Aw, here we are. You're in the correct class. Nice to meet y'all. Just take a seat wherever you like. Class is about to begin." stated Apple Bloom.

The teens began to take a seat; they sat at a table together. A few tables before them was another person, as it was none other than Pipp's older sister. Soon Apple Bloom cleared her voice as she got everyone's attention.

"Howdy, y'all. Hope y'all are ready to learn from the best," said Apple Bloom with a playful and cheerful tone while smiling a big smile. "Now then, let me start with explaining what Synchro Summoning is. A Synchro Summon is the act of Special Summoning a Synchro Monster from the Extra Deck using a Tuner monster with additional non-Tuner monsters. Now before I continue, can anyone tell me what I mean by a Tuner monster?"

"A Tuner monster is a monster that's listed with the word "Tuner" on their Type/Ability line," answered a student.

"Yup," said Apple Bloom doing her best impression of her older brother, "Tuners are what you need to perform a Synchro Summon. How you Synchro Summon is another thing. So, let me explain. "During your Main Phase, you can Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster in your Extra Deck by sending two or more face-up monsters listed on the Synchro Monster Card, including exactly 1 Tuner unless stated otherwise, whose combined Levels exactly equal the Synchro Monster's Level, from their field to the Graveyard as Synchro Materials. After that, the player Summons the Synchro Monster from the Extra Deck in an unoccupied Main Monster Zone in face-up Attack or Defense Position."

"So you combine levels?" asked Hitch.

"Yup, let me show you," said Apple Bloom as she turned to the board behind her and turned on the holographic projector. "Now I have these monsters in my Monsters, Level 2 Speed Warrior, Level 3 Junk Synchron, and Level 2 Quillbolt Hedgehog. So if I combine their levels, I can tune them to Synchro Summon, a high-level monster like Level 7 Junk Archer."

The hologram showed the three monsters disappearing as, in their place, occupying one of the Monster Zones, was a new monster.

"Remember what I said about combining Levels. Two plus three plus two gives y'all a grand total of seven," said Apple Bloom.

"Fascinating," said Hitch.

"Now, normally, Synchro Monsters require only one Tuner, but as I said earlier, sometimes it depends. Now, onto the mechanics of Synchro Summoning. Monsters that do not have Levels, such as Xyz Monsters, cannot be used as Synchro Materials. Token Monsters and Trap Monsters can be used as Synchro Materials. Synchro Materials are sent to the Graveyard by default, but the Synchro Summon is still successful even if the materials are moved to another location. Even if all appropriate Monster Zones are occupied, a Synchro Monster can still be Summoned as long as at least one of the Synchro Materials used is in one of these zones so that there is an available zone when the Synchro Monster is Summoned."

Soon a hand shot up.

"Yes, Ms. Storm," said Apple Bloom as she called on Zipp.

"You mentioned that usually Synchro Monsters typically require one Tuner monster? Are there any specific instances where it's required to have more?" asked the girl.

"Yup, like this one," said Apple Bloom as she pulled up the image of a monster, "This card here is called Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend; it's special because of not just because of its attack and defense points or its special abilities, but because of the summoning requirements needed. To summon this beast, you need 2 Tuners."

"Wow!" said most of the students, mostly at seeing how powerful the monster was.

"Even if a Synchro Summon is negated, the Synchro Materials do not return to the field. Now, some Synchro Monsters require specific monsters. Like this one, this is called Majestic Star Dragon; however, it has unique requirements to summon it. For one, it's a Level 10 monster, but it specifically calls for the monsters Stardust Dragon and Majestic Dragon." said Apple Bloom.

"But Stardust Dragon is a Level 8 monster, and Majestic Dragon is a Level 1 monster, so to Synchro Summon Majestic Star Dragon, you need one monster that's Level 1 exactly," said a student.

"Yes. So you see, most unique monsters have specific requirements you must meet. In addition, like other Extra Deck monsters, if a Synchro Monster is not Synchro Summoned first, it cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard or while banished. Apart from the usual method of summoning Synchro monsters, certain cards allow the controller to perform a Synchro Summon outside its parameters."

"Outside of its parameters?" spoke Izzy.

"Some cards can allow you to Synchro Summon during your opponent's Main or Battle phases. And in some cases, you can even use their monsters as Synchro Materials."

"Ms. Apple Bloom? I heard from one of my friends that there's a thing called Synchro Substitute Monsters. What are those?" asked a student.

"A very interesting topic. Synchro Substitute Monsters is a monster with an effect that allows it to replace a single Synchro Material Monster that must have a specific name or be of a specific archetype for the Synchro Summon of a Synchro Monster. Unlike a Fusion Substitute Monster, the other Synchro Material Monster(s) do not have to be the correct one(s)." said Apple Bloom as she grabbed a stack of papers and began to pass them out. "Here's a list of Synchro Substitute Monsters, be sure to read them over and look them up in your spare time. You never know when you might use these cards yourself."

Back in Sweetie Belle's classroom, the woman was eyeing her class as she saw her students working on the assignment she had given them. She had finished answering a group's question when she saw the pair up of Mario and Pipp. The pair were engaged in a practice duel; the boy had a hand under his chin as he was bored. Mainly because Pipp was taking too long to make her move.

"Okay, what should I do?" asked the girl to herself as she looked at the cards in her hands, trying to figure out her next move.

"Play a card, and move the duel along," replied Mario as he lost his patience.

He knew Pipp was still getting the basics down, but spending nearly ten minutes trying to figure out your next move was a stretch.

"Don't rush me, okay!" said Pipp as she tried to work with Mario's impatience.

"If you would like some advice, I suggest playing the card on the far left," said Sweetie Belle.

"This one?" responded Pipp as she looked at the card her teacher was eyeing.

"That's called Sonata the Melodious Diva. Since you control a 'Melodious' monster, you can special summon it from your hand. And then, because you special summoned it, all your other monsters will gain an additional 500 attack and defense points." explained Sweetie Belle.

"Huh. That sounds totally powerful. Thanks, Ms. Sweetie Belle." said Pipp as she grabbed the monster and put it in front of her. "Alright then, I special summon my Sonata the Melodious Diva, from my hand. Then because I..."

"Don't bother," said Mario as he flipped over his face-down. "I activate my trap. You lose."

"What? But, but, but..." Pipp was at a loss for words; her brain couldn't comprehend what she was trying to say.

The bell then rang as everyone began to pack up, as did Mario.

"Remember, study up on what I said. There will be a test tomorrow when you enter," said Sweetie Belle to her students exiting.

She eyed Mario, who slipped on his backpack and began to head out of the classroom. The woman noticed how Mario didn't even bother to let Pipp finish her turn as he already had won and was waiting for the girl to make her move.

He really is their child.

Sweetie Belle looked down at Pipp, who was slowly packing her things. The girl was still unhappy about what went down in the last moments of class.

"Don't fret, Ms. Pipp. Everyone isn't a master when it comes to understanding Duel Monsters. Even some individuals I know didn't start out on top of the game. It takes time, patience, and hard work. You'll get there; keep at it."

"I guess," said Pipp, still feeling disheartened, "By the way, Ms. Sweetie Belle. How did you know what that card did?"

"Because... I have that same deck," smiled Sweetie Belle.

"No way. Like, seriously?" said the girl as she put her satchel around her body.

"Yup. I had a Melodious deck when I was a student. It's what I used throughout my high school years. In fact, stay after class tomorrow for a bit. I can show it to you and... give you some pointers." said Sweetie Belle.

"Really? I'd love that. Thanks so much, Ms. Sweetie Belle. You're like totally the coolest teacher ever." said the girl to her teacher as she left the room and waved.

"I try," responded Sweetie Belle before turning her back, "Wait till Scootaloo and Apple Bloom get jealous knowing I'm the best teacher between us three."

Mario was heading back to his special dorm when his younger sibling appeared and jumped on him.

"Hey, big bro," said Roll as she jumped onto her older sibling's back.

"Sup, sis," said Mario nonchalantly as he began the piggyback ride for his little sister to their home.

"So how'd it go in class?" asked the girl to her brother.

"Fine," was all the boy said.

"Same here. Oh, by the way, I met someone new. Her name is Sunny Starscout. She's in the Xyz dorm, and I said she could come over tomorrow to practice. Is that okay with you?" asked Roll.

"Yeah, sure. Whatever. Just don't bother me," responded Mario, not much interested.

"Awesome. Thanks, big bro. Love you." Roll kissed her brother's cheek quickly as she hugged him tight while continuing to ride his back.

"Yeah, love you too, sis," mumbled Mario as they kept walking and made it home.

Author's Note: Our main cast have now been enrolled into their dueling classes and it seems some noticable faces will be their instructors. This chapter is to help those who never play Yugioh or those who haven't played in quite a bit to know the different types of summoning methods that this story will have. And a more indepth look at how each one works. Now there is a reason why I didn't cover Pendulum Summoning in this chapter, you'll just have to wait for that.
