It was late-night/early morning in the Avengers compound and while the others were asleep in their rooms, Casey was still awake, after what had happened earlier, alomg with over-hearing what her uncle and parents had discussed, texting with Crystal on WhatsApp.
Yeah, because he figured out, you're Magentica and we're friends for life, so he figured it out, plus I overheard him tellimg my parents, but they get it, that maybe I'm meant to be a hero, besides Shocket is my uncle's actual kit, I'm his niece, you know?
She then looked up at the wall-clock, reading five in the morning, making her sigh, knowing Rocket would freak out knowing she'd been up all night on WhatsApp, signing off for now, listening to music on headphones, knowing she'd zone out a lt later, which was alright with her, as she was feeling off, which only happened when she was sick.
Maybe it's a glitch or something, maybe Mom will know, when she and dad aren't busy with hero-stuff or training Celesta, I don't wanna get in their fur.
Later that mid-morning/early afternoon, Casey began to stir, going to the kitchen, seeing there were leftovers of pancakes making a grin cross her furry face, grabbing the condiments she loved, especially the chocolate syrup, maple syrup and chocolate sprinkles making it look like art, unaware that her parents were there, realising she wasn't using her powers!
"Yeah, I wanted to ask about that, is it because of yesterday?" Casey asked.
"Oh sweetie, it's a power-block, which happens a lot to beings like us, especially when anxious or stressed, but they'llcome back, sooner or later, besides your uncle was worried about you." Poppy told her, makimg Casey surprised, knowing he was helping Shocket control her newly-gained powers seeing them nod.
"Just relax, as they'll come back, trust us." Soren assured her.
"Let's hope nobody needs Raccoon Girl, until then." she mumbled, after they left.
After eating, she was going to her room, as maybe sleeping might help make the power-block go away, plus she had been up all night, lying down on her bed on her side, falling asleep, hoping maybe when she woke up, some of her powers might come back, knowing Crystal would flip, when she found out, hoping she could help.
Rocket was surprised yet worried, hearing Casey was having a power-block, like when she was little and anxious, hoping his niece would figure out a way to make it go away, knowing Crystal might help making Shocket wonder, if he was alright nodding.
"Wow, you have a power block, and it made your powers disappear?" Crystal asked, seeing Casey nod.
It was after the magenta-furredgirl had finished training and Rocket had told her what had happened, so had gone to Casey's room to see if she was alright, makimg her hug her friend, not sensing any super-strength in Casey, like when they normally hugged.
"This is a massive problem indeed, we gotta get them back, so you can be you again." she said making Casey nod in reply.
She hoped she could get over this and her powers would return, as her uncle had told her she was going o an new school, with other gifted kids like her, makimg Crystal understand, assuring her they could figure it out before then, aking Casey hopeful about that, seeimg Celesta pop in, makimg Crystal jump, makimg Casey roll her eyes, at her older
"Sorry about that, but it's almost dinnertime, you okay?" she said to Casey, after Crystal left, to go home herself, making her sigh, goimg to the kitchen, seeing the others had a good day, making them relieved, seeing her join them, including her, Celesta and Terra's parents as they knew what was happening to her was scary, and that it would not last forever, makimg Rocket agree.
