It was the weekend and the middle of the night, when Casey alomg with her magical best pal, Crystal were hanging out and having fun until hearing noises had alerted , so they were checkimg it out, only the aura was familiar but a little stinky, seeing what looked like a teenaged version of Casey in her hooded top, but chubby, making her and Crystal impressed yet curious guessing she was from the future!
"Yeah I'm from the future, and decided to hang-out here, don't worry the time-space stream won't be damaged, with me being here, it's not likemy uncle will worry." she said, making them exchange a look, seeing Casey impressed that her older self ate out of trash cans, making her and Crystal guess that was why she was stinky, knowing she had to be clean before she could enter without Rocket putting two and two together, makimg the teenaged Casey relent relieving Casey and Crystal.
"We should give you a different name, so we don't get confused." Crystal said, seeing both her Casey and the future one agree with her liking the name, Kaci as it sounded a little like Casey's name,, different enough seeing Future Casey like it too.
"Just be gentle, alright, you know?" Kacit told them, making them understand, throwing her top in the laundry hamper, assuring her that it would be cleaned faster, when they did that, guessimg Kaci's room back in her dimension must be pretty messy.
"What're you two up to, who's that?" they heard Rocket askimg, makimg Kaci nervous takimg a deep breath, hiding uncer tnd warm water impressing Casey.
"That's my new friend, Kaci and she kinda gog dirty, so we're nelpimg her get cleaned up." " Casey replied seeimg her uncle happy, leaving them be, seeimg Kaci come up for air, looking cleaner.
"That was impressive, plus I miss uncle Rockie being like that." she said shaking the wet off her furry body and tail, making her look adorable unaware that Rocket's future self was talking to him, seeing alittle nervous seeing a lounge top that looked like Avengers team armour, makimg Casey have a feelimg, that hadsomething to do with her comimg here, seeing her using her cloaking-powe to hide seeing Rocketentering.
"It's okay, I knowabout Kaci, is she okay?" he asked.
"She freaked out, when wegaveher this, after getting her to take abath." Crystal said.
He understood why, as his future self had explained, hearing Shocket yellimg, as he left, seeimg Kaci with her, makimg him get it, stoppimg Shocket, calming Kaci down, seeing Casey join them, understanding, makimg Shocket wonderwhat was goimg on, seeimg her dad taking this strange femalekit, that looked like an older version of Casey, as it had been her shift as an ignt hall-monitor.
"Ssh everything's alright Kaci, your uncle told me, plus I see you've befriended Casey, eh?" Rocket said in a gentle tone, as not to scare her, because his future self had told him her powers had gotten stronger thanks to puberty seeing her relaxing at him scratching behind her furry ear like Drax or Thor did, when he was like this, seeing she still wore her power-bands which helped her with her various powners.
"We should get some hot cocoa, you know?" he said to her seeing her hug him.
Casey and Crystal were joining them, seeing te lightson the Christmas tree were still on, making Kaci smile, makingthem relieved by that as they were in the kitchen sitting at the table, despite it being two in the morning, seeing the menorah cookies that they and Gwen hadmade earlier, impressing Kaci, biting into one along with Casey and Crystal butdrinking hot cocoa and talking.
"We should sleep in a while, it's been a long night, alright?" Rocket told them.
"Yeah we will, along with Kaci, since she's staying." Casey replied.
That later morning, Casey began to stir, as she along with Crystal and Kaci had been sleeping in a pillowfort they had made seeing Kaci snugglied beside Crystal like she did, lettimg her be going to get them breakfast, seeing Shocket giving her a weird look guessing something bothered her, hopimg Rocket had told her about Kaci, after she'd frightenedher future self seeing Ranger and Riley, her surrogate parents drinking coffee, hugging them.
"We heard about your future self being here from uncle Rockie, and that you had an exciting night." Riley said.
"Yeah mom, but Shocket frightened her last night, and now Shockie is being weird." Casey replied.
She had climbed onto the kitchen counter-top as it helped her find what she was looking for in the cupboards, despite Rocket saying that it was dangerous even though climbing came naturally to their species, grinning finding pop-tarts as Crystal and Kaci wouldlike them, plus she just had to use the toaster or shoot lasers from her furry littlepaws to toast them, making her dad want to see that.
"If I dothat and scorch the walls, uncle Rockie would blow a cybernetic fuse." Casey told him making Riley relieved.
Casey wasputting pop-tarts in the toaster, and making coffee for her and her friends, knowing that would perk them up, makimg Ranger and Riley agree, knowing they would get buzzed, seeing Crystal with Kaci joining them, hugging Ranger and Riley making Casey understand, realising something, Kaci could be her sister, makimg Rangerand Riley agree makimg the teenaged kit happy.
