"No, let me go, I wanna stay with my dada you left him, by running away." Casey protested squirming in Rocket's furry arms using her super-strength power making Pupia understand after putting a locket on her.
"That's a bunch of baloney, the High Evolutionary's brain is fried, he thinks we're his kits but that's not true, even your mama knows, she told me to come rescue you." Rocket replied in a gentle tone seeing Casey calming.
"What uncle Rocket says is true, you're too sweet and special to become his tool, but I'll come find you when the time's right." Pupia said kissing her furry head but also her nose seeing her sleepy seeing them leaving in the ship.
"Let them go, you still have me, you can have more lil super-soldiers." she told the High Evolutionary seeing him agree.
"You think mama's okay." Rocket heard Casey ask softly, after he had engaged hyperspace.
"I think so kiddo, she'll find you, but we can have fun until then." Rocket said.
He then docked in the hangar-bay of Knowhere making Casey curious, being in a papoose so he wouldn't lose her, seeing the Milano, knowing he had explaining to do especially Casey.
Rocket was surprised as he had followed Crystal into Casey's room, hearing his niece sleep-talking about her mom and the High Evolutionary making him sigh, seeing her wake up wondering what her uncle was doing here hearing Crystal telling her making her sigh lookijg away from him.
"I guess maybe it's time she finds us, like she said when you were that little, I have her communicator's signal on mine." Rocket told her, seeing Casey's eyes widen in awe saying to do it seeing her uncle leaving feeling Crystal squeeze her paw gently, excited to be part of this.
"Let's go get some breakfast, alright." she told Casey seeing her nod.
"Let's keep what's happening a secret, until she comes." Casey replied.
"Okay, but the others will start asking questions." Crystal replied.
They were heading to the cafetaria, hearing other kids whispering noticing a certain vice-dean was absent including Shocket who with Linda was coming this way making Casey tuck the locket her uncle had given her back under her shirt, saying she did not know where Rocket was.
"He's probably attending to stuff we're not privy to." Crystal added.
Casey was relieved seeing them leave them alone, hoping her uncle would find her mom hearing the bell gulping down breakfast then going to class using her super-speed power distracted.
