This is gonna be awesome, spending New Year's with Yoko-chan plus I can check in on Shocket, as she's been hanging out with Rocke, I can't wait to go.

It was New Year's Eve and in her room in Gamora and Rocket's house, Casey was getting ready to spend New Year's in Japan with her beloved Yoko Nirohita who was Rocke's daughter but she was wearing the moon and stars kimono her mom had made her using her cricut machine, tying up her shoulder length hair into a ponytail like when she was being Raccoon Girl but tonight was special.

Ready to go, Casey-chan. " she heard Yoko say.

"Uh-huh, ready for the best night ever." she replied sliding open her closet-door which concealed a portal leading to Japan 1610, Yoko's dinension as the tenuki-female had made it so when Casey wanted to, she could hang out with her going through appearing in Yoko's closet coming out seeing Yoko hug her tight.

"Konnichiwa Casey, my dad is doing something with Shocket, she felt too anxious to go out, she's slowly making progress." she said making Casey relieved as her brother had hoped Shocket was okay and had donated gifts to Mama Stripss's Shelter for Street-Cubs and Homeless Raccoons which she as Raccoon Girl had helped with plus had blogged about it on tiktwit to make other raccoons in New York aware of it.

"Hey how's things goijg at home." she heard Shocket asking softly.

"Good, Rockie was asking about you, but good that Rocke is helping you." Casey told her seeing her shaky popping meds ijto her furry mouth as they were anxiety meds as after he'd brought her here, Rocke had taken Shocket to doctors but she was also seeing a therapist.

"Girls you'd better hurry, if you want to have fun, don't worry aboht Shocke as she'll be okay." Rocke told them seeing Yoko nod as she and Casey left, making him chuckle softly seeing one of hisPipers there as the other one had taken John and Juilet to the festival but they would be having their own party at their mansion house forgetting he'd invited Howard and his Linda knowing Shocket would freak, as Linda was the one who'd kicked his god-cub out onto the streets debating if he should warn her, or not because he wanted her to have a happy New Year sighing as Hardlite Piper was helping him.

"Yo Rocke what's up homie " Howard said making Rocke facepalm

"No, No if he's here then that means-" Shocket said starting to panic.

"Hey pops, who's this and why she's acting wack." she heard Linda ask.

Shocket then bolted out of there to get some fresh air as seeing Linda even an alternate her was too much feeling tears fall down her furry cheeks as those memories were still tol fresh wiping them away with her paw just as Rocke came outside feeling bad seeing her sitting underva cherryblossom tree in their huge garden sitting beside her.

"Sorry about that love, I didn't have time to prep you, but Howie's on my record label, but he and you know who left as I told them I wanted you to come to the party, I can't let you start the new year on a sad note." he told her feeling her hug him which made him surprised too but he loved it as they went back inside noticing Casey and Yoko were back but had won prizes having fun and dancing together making Shocket happy for them.

At midnight, they were drinking plus Rocke let Casey and Yoko have a lil saje which made them excitable, going to Yoko's room as she still had treats and soda from the holidays so they were up talking and giggling until sunrise when they finally fell asleep.

… What did we do last night, to feel like this, Yoko." Casey mumbled as she realised she and Yoko were in Yoko's bed not knowing Rocke had found them sleeping on the floor so had tucked them into Yoko's big bed

"We had way too much fun last night, but you okay and guess my dad tucked us in." Yoko replied rubbing her eyes with her paw as it was noon makijg Casey facepalm, as Gamora and Rocket would be worrying or wondering where she was alomg with her mom and Herbert getting out of bed feeling Yoko squeeze her paw in reassurance telling her to breathe.

"You're right as they know Shocket's here, but I should go, love you." she said as she eskimo-kissed Yoko before leaving makijg Yoko grin hearing her dad calling her for brunch.
