"Holy crutack, you got your ears pierced, did it hurt, did Jupiter see." Casey asked.
"We got it done at Claire's, so no no hurt, she thinks it's cool, Terran kits our age get it done, plus your ear holes can handle it." Peach told her making her excited hoping her parents wouldn't be upset, Peach and Raya had shown Jupiter so shecwouldn't be mad.
"Yep your dad is a Celestial and royal, making you a princess despite also being Raccoon Girl, ohhhh it's more Rocket you're nervous about seeing you have pierced ears." Raya added.
"Uh-huh, if he sees, he'll emotionally ka-boom." Casey told her.
"We're not gonna be cubs forever, he had his fun, so now it's tije for younto have some." Peach told her.
"Alright, let's do it, it's not like I'm getting a tattoo, don't get ideas." Casey said sounding like Rocket.
At the end of the school-day, Rocket saw her leaving with Peach and Raya having a determined look on her face wondering what that was about having no idea what they were up to but would find out when she returned to Wondergore later.
"Wow, Casey your earrings are beauitful, plus your folks are gonna be impressed, Rocket too." Peach told Casey as she, Casey and Raya had left Claire's but were in Wondergore at the mall having slurpies, unaware Rocket had heard earrings alomg with seeing Peach and Raya's ears were pierced, making him nervous knowing Terran cubs their age did this.
"Yeah, they'll be impressed including Rockie." Casey told them unaware he heard but was going to their family's apartment deciding to not rat her out knowing their mom would chew her out.
When Casey came hoke, she was doing homework and washing up for dinner knowing Branchie was impressed by her friend wearing earrings which made the female-cub smile heading tomthe dining-room seeing Jupiter and Herbert in awe seeing Rocket looking like he was about to cry confusing her expecting him to yell guessing he was waiting until they were alone to do it.
"Thanks guys and Rockie looks kinda I don't know what." she said.
"I guess he's just surprisedyou did this, but he might not be ready." Herbert told her.
"Not ready for what." she asked confused by her dad's question seeing Jupiter nodding.
After dinner, she and Branchie were goofing around having a dance-party and being herself hearing knocking on the door, turning the music off seeing Rocket guessing what this was about.
"Yes it's about the earrings but…. more about you growing up a little as getting earrings is the first step then Hormone Town, then Red Alert happens and I'm just not reasy for that yet, to see you grow up fast like Shocket, she's on Schism alomg with Emily doing Groot knows what." he said seeing Casey stunned at what he'd just said.
"Whoa, slow down, is this to do with my hirthday coming up, plus that stuff won't be happening forva few years, we learnt about that in class." she told him.
"Yesbut that's for Terran cubs, , not cubs like us and girls mature faster than boys meaning Red Alert could happen earlier for you, Peach and Raya compared to your female Terran perrs." he told her seeing her hug him reassuring him she was okay and that she wouldn't jump off the rainbow bridge even if her friends did relieving Rocket at this.
Jupiter and Herbert were standing outside as he left Casey's room proud of him for talking to Casey because they'd have tomhave talks with her so happy he'd started but in a gentle way.
