Shepard is getting some much-needed rest. I'm very concerned for him. The unimaginable pressure of trying to save the galaxy from a threat like no other combined with the inability for his body to heal cannot go on forever. Something will snap. He asked me for help in any way I could. Unfortunately, the best I could do was to sort of massage the nerves in his brain to relieve some tension and push out those toxic buildups, but his body needs to perform the other functions only sleep will provide.

While he's getting some shuteye, now would be a good time to call a meeting. I invite Javik, Kaiden, Ashley, Wrex, and Liara to the warroom and we'll start in 15 minutes. Time is not wasted, and I prepare the space. A lavender scented candle burns in the center of the table, and I gaze at the beautiful light. The glass panels are set to opaque as I wait for my audience. Kaiden is the first to come.

"*********, what the fuck?" Kaiden said.

"Hey language. I don't like lowering the vibes unless necessary. How are you doing bud? I'm upset you didn't call more often" I said.

"What the hell are vibes?" he asks.

"What did I just say? I'll explain when everyone else is here. Please be courteous and welcome our next visitor. Oh wait I'll get this. WREX!" finally I can lift someone up and not sprain my back. The old man a fifth-ish my age pats my back to let him down. I do so but give a sad sigh as I do so. He's never going to enjoy my hugs.

"Can't believe all that has happened to you these past couple of years. What in Kalros's name happened to make you do whatever you did?" Wrex asks.

"Oh, I could have done that before. Pretty cool am I right? Enough about me, tell me about you. Did you meet a special someone? A lady friend perhaps?" I ask.

"As a matter of fact, I did. Mordin gave us intel about krogan females resistant to the genophage being held hostage by STG and we freed them. She is a shaman" Wrex said.

"Yeah no name but everyone calls her Eve right?" I ask.

"Yeah? How did you know?" he asks.

"I know things" I said.

Next cameth Ashley and she brought me goodies. Her long dark hair it tied up in the librarian bun, which seems fitting given what she is carrying. In coming she wears her silver cross necklace over her breastplate. She normally keeps it under her clothes but now is in plain view, with a bible in her left arm and in her right-hand rosary beads. Liara is right behind her and is noticeably excited. I can tell she's been wanting to talk to me for a long time.

I defuse the awkward situation "Save that for church. You're not going to need that. Hey Liara. I've missed you. Please tell me you've been taking care of Shepard for me while I was living with Tali." Kaiden and Ashley double take.

"I have and Shepard is relieved to have you back. How was it living with the quarians and your love?" Liara asks.

Ashley blurts out "Wait hold the phone. You and Tali are together?"

Wrex says "Oh I thought I told you guys. Yeah, they've been paired up for a while."

Kaiden asks "When did this start?"

"Shortly after you two Alliance knuckleheads yelled at Shepard. Do you know he cried like a little baby that needed soothing underneath his stoic exterior?" I said.

Liara says "Shepard never cries."

"I said underneath his exterior." Is the war giving them hearing problems?

Finally comes Javik. His face scrunches up as he enters the room. He's irritated by something. Distractions are always best. "Hey Javik, now that everyone is here, I should introduce you to everyone. We like to shake hands. Physical contact allows us to feel each other's vibes better. Here I'll start" I take Javik's 50,000 year old palm and shake it and say "You feel very discombobulated." So that is what a confused Prothean looks like.

Kaiden says "We all met him though it's weird seeing him outside of his room. Why did you come out now?"

Javik responds "I detest the foul odors of the primitives in this cycle yet my fascination with that one compels me enough to tolerate your synthetic stink."

"Is your sense of smell pretty strong?" I ask.

"Yes. One of many advantageous adaptations of my people for tracking. We are-were the apex predators. I smell the foul scents of the humans. Their applied chemicals do little to hide their natural musks. I'm focusing on the oils burned from the flame. It's not unpleasant" He said.

Wrex says "Being in this small room with me must be killing you."

"The salarian genophage modifications have improved your scent immensely" Javik said.

Wrex responds "Ugh thanks I guess."

Liara brings us back on track "I apologize for being so impatient, but I have so much I want to ask you."

Ashley says "Yeah. How did you do that? What makes you so special?"

I answer "my atoms are filled with high oscillating sexiness!"

Ashley says "Huh?"

"Pay attention I drop hints all the time and capitalize it by reinforcing the awesomeness I am" I said.

Wrex asks "********* what was that green cloud like you transformed into?"

"That is called the light body. If you vibrate fast enough it releases photons and green is my color" I said.

"Light body? How long could you have done that?" Ashley asks.

"Since before I came to this universe. Ask Kaiden, he's known since Virmire and I still haven't received a gift card for saving you from a very expensive hospital bill. I'll let it go but I'm not buying you an overpriced teddy bear from the hospital gift shop next time you're out of commission. Oh which one of you two got hurt?"

Kaiden answers "No one. Was one of us supposed to be hospitalized?"

"It was in the third game" I said.

"You've known and didn't tell us?" Ashley and Wrex glares make Kaiden sweat. Oh poor Javik.

Javik says "go back to the first part. My grasp on English is shaky. Uni means one. There is only this universe. You've come from beyond?"

"There is some really cool stuff above the physical worlds but I'm not from this universe. There are others. I call it the omniverse but multiverse is more popular."

Kaiden says "You never told me why you're here."

I reply "Mostly to keep boredom away and to look for anything that can help me out. In my world this universe is a video game and I came because I really had nothing else to do. Don't look at me like that. You explore the multiverse for thousands of years and you see how you feel."

Ashley says "Wait. Thousands of years? How old are you?"

"Over 5,000 years"

"5,000!" Wrex, Ashley, and Kaiden shout.

"Don't I look fantastic?" I said.

"Holy moley I can't even imagine it" Ashley said.

"I know. I'm older than Wrex and Liara combined and unlike our prothean friend I was awake for that."

Liara says "I can only imagine how advanced your people are if they discovered the ability to transverse the multiverse and achieve immortality."

No my people sucked so bad I figured out how to leave on my own."

Kaiden asks "How did you do that?"

"My life was weird and always has been. I struggled alot and to cope I found buddhism and it led me down a rabbit and over my life, I picked up whatever helped me until one day my brain broke or something and I learned how to control my energy."

Wrex asks "Energy?"

I explain "So you know everything is made of atoms well those atoms are shaking. They are vibrating. And I accidentally found a way to make them shake faster and that opened doors for me. I became obsessed with learning to control and manipulate it to help me out. It's complicated."

Javik asks "What made you think you could do this? Were your race trying to achieve this?"

"No, they were focusing on how to change their genders."

"That's weird. What does this allow you to do?" Wrex asks.

"Energy manipulation allows for lots of things. I can fly, teleport, superspeed, super strength, shapeshift, materialize anything I've come into contact with, explore other realities and higher planes of existence, yadayada."

Kaiden says "we have to the Alliance about this."

"Nonono" I telekinetically press the nerves which control his vocal cords. Kaiden chokes from the invisible pinching of the Recurrent laryngeal nerve.

Ashley says "********* stop what you are doing."

"I don't want no governments knowing about this. The IRS was annoying enough for wanting my taxes. Now imagine how relentless they'll be if they figure out what I could do. I'm not letting you tell anyone, not like they would believe you."

Wrex asks "How are you doing that? I need to learn that trick."

"I'm using wireless sexual power shooting down into his throat to keep him from talking. Don't give me that look. Kaiden is gay he likes this sort of thing" I realize what I just said and stop immediately. I feel like swimming in an Olympic sized pool of concentrated bleach. Tali must never know of this.

Kaiden coughs up. Guess he isn't a swallower. "Did you have to do it so hard?" He asks.

"We are moving on. Any questions?"

Javik asks "Can I learn this?"

I answer "while I don't see why you couldn't, it takes a long time to learn this and requires alot of training and sacrifice and I rarely offer to teach people because of fear of abuse."

Ashley asks "why are you showing us this now?"

"A drell Shepard and I worked with confronted me on how I seemed to know things before that happened and I had to confess. That made things awkward for a while."

Javik asks "You know the future?"

"Not exactly. Something five minutes away from now is completely unknown. What I do know are key events that should happen, and which choices will lead to which outcomes, but it's not exact and this universe is slightly different from the game I mentioned. I still can't believe quarians are living on Rannoch. Tali hopes to go there and live there."

Kaiden asks "Why didn't you tell us? We could have used that information."

"I respect free will as my sacred duty as an American" Feel the patriotic vibes. Channel the bald eagle and dump tea in a harbor.

Ashley asks "How come you don't talk about your past?"

"I did but you never believed me. All those crazy stories I told were real."

Ashley asks "You shoved a pineapple up Hitler's ass leaves first?"

"That was a different universe's version of hell, and I was offered by the local inhabitants. At first, I wasn't going to, but the amateur painter called me a coward then insulted my mom so I shoved a huge up there."

Wrex says "Have you been mocking us this whole time?"

"No of course not. I don't like talking about the first part of my life because it sucked. However, I know people get curious so if I stay quiet, it just makes them even more interested. If I ask them to leave it alone, they usually don't. But if I make myself sound slightly insane, which I might be but I'm fairly normal considering what my universe was like, people are a lot more courteous to the mentally unstable man-sexyman."

Ashley asks "Is heaven real?"

"What are you hoping to spend eternity on your knees in front of big sky daddy shooting his special white divine stuff onto your face?"

"Don't phrase it like that!" Ashley said.

"You really think strippers can go to heaven?"

"I NEVER STRIPPED!"

"Then stop complaining about the tip. Hehehe. There are so many different places that what you are thinking of probably exists somewhere. But there is something way better."

Wrex asks "Like what and why aren't you there?"

"There are places that affect you in such a way you can feel intense bliss just being there. Unfortunately, I'm blocked. I can't go. I'm not sure why and tried nearly everything. I was supposed to go there when I died naturally like my family but didn't."

"That sucks. Wait, you could have done this when you were living with the clan? Why didn't you? You could have moved all those rocks just by thinking about it." Wrex said.

"I needed to kill time for Shepard to respawn lazy Jesus get out of the bed style and I earned a break. And exercise helps regulate my power" I said.

Liara asks "why does it need regulating? What would happen if you neglected it?"

"There is a special sub atomic material that can be stored in the body and when it gets full enough in the nerves, you can feel it and too much causes pressure and it hurts so I spend it before it gets to that point. It is a lot more painful than exercise, but I wish I didn't have to do it" I said.

Ashley asks "can't you just block it out? Plug a hole or something?"

"Blink Bink... why didn't I think of that?"

Wrex asks "So there's others like you?"

"There are other people who learned this as well. Early religious groups tend to figure it out first as people were more sensitive to environmental changes back in the day and some were just gifted. Mostly it is people who get curious in the afterlife and want to explore other places. I figured it out before I died because I needed out."

Kaiden asks "No one taught you how? Then how did you figure this out? This is way over my head."

"I read about the rainbow body in buddhism which I studied to help cope with the chronic pain I had, other religions have stories of something similar, and after my multiple near death experiences, I learned there was something else. It was little bits and pieces throughout my life until it finally clicked and I worked my cutie little booty off until I could do it."

Ashley pulls out her bible and opens it up "I don't think there is anything about that in here. Nothing is ringing a bell."

"The people who wrote that didn't even have the concept of atoms but those people back in the day who could do this as well tried their best to explain it. Usually, the symbolism is someone being lit on fire and joining the divine like Hercules in greek mythology. Since it is the bible I am assuming there is something God took someone, disappearing into smoke, or lifting them up into heaven or whatever. Remember I'm not from this universe so what is in there can be different from what I know."

Ashley says "That sounds like the story of Elijah."

"Don't accidentally start a crusade. Did it by accident and felt bad afterwards."

Liara says "You started a holy war? That seems unlike you."

"There was a period of time where I was more open about my talents to unaware people, and I had a TV interview with the pope. I did my best to explain it to him, but he wasn't getting it. He asked me all the usual questions and when he asked me if children who die go to heaven, I said yes to make it easy to explain. Well then, they took that as confirmation their religion was the right one and fought everyone else instead of learning the other tidbits of information that could help them out. I tried making them stop but they wouldn't listen, so I learned to stay silent after that. Complete morons."

Kaiden says "I don't know him very well, but he usually has a reason for what he does."

Wrex asks "how strong are you?"

I said "I don't want to answer that. You guys were already freaked out how strong my body is and that you know what I can do. I don't want you guys being frightened. I can feel it and I don't like it."

Javik comments "I can smell their fear. Why are you not dominating the weak? It is the right of the strong to rule."

"I'm not a dick and don't want to be the perpetual babysitter of everyone. I want to have a life too. Hopefully I'll have one with Tali after this war is over."

Wrex says "You must really like her. I can tell by the look on your face. She knows?"

"Yeah, she does, and she knew of my abilities before we started dating. I do. We love each other."

Javik asks "Why are you attempting copulation knowing she can't carry your offspring?"

"Umm. this is so uncomfortable for me to talk about, we actually haven't tried putting the swagger dagger into the flesh sheathe. Her immune system should only be exposed to one person and she's waiting for a commitment to be safe."

Javik asks "I do not understand. Doesn't love mean fornication?"

Kaiden asks "Javik, that's just one meaning of it. Didn't you love anyone in your cycle?"

Javik says "Dozens to produce as many soldiers as possible for the war."

Ashely asks "he means someone you care about romantically."

Javik says "I do not know the meaning of that word."

Wrex asks "was your entire life only to fight the reapers?"

Javik says "Yes. During my growth period the Reapers invaded my planet, and I was trained in combat."

Ashley asks "how old were you?"

Javik asks "which method do you use to record time?"

Kaiden says "years. The time for a planet to rotate around a star."

"I would have been 6 when the reapers attacked my home. I was sent to fight before I could reproduce. All my life was war and death" he said.

"6 YEARS" Everyone screams.

"Javik… I think you are stuck in survival mode" I said.

Javik asks "What do you mean?"

"I can sense people's energies and yours, only the bottom three centers are working. The other 4 are shut down, barely flickering" I said.

"Why is that of any importance?" he asks.

"Because if they were working, you'd have new feelings. Some good, some not so. I'm going to ask you a series of questions. "Why do you have children?"

"To replenish our numbers. To have more soldiers to fight the reapers" he said.

"Why do you eat?"

"To have strength to fight the reapers" he said.

"What gives you direction in life?"

"Killing reapers" he said.

"Does everything involve killing the reapers?"

"Yes" he said.

Kaiden asks "What's wrong?"

"I think to cope with the trauma from his cycle's reaper war, his race to regressed back into survival mode. Javik there is a lot more to life than war, conquest, and death. There is happiness, passion, joy" I explain.

"I do not know the meanings of those words. Do they assist in fighting the reapers?"

"Javik, that is really bad. We're going to have to work on that. I'll teach you how to remove a block but that is it." If he's a child soldier, he won't have the educational background to figure this out, assuming he is even willing to.

Wrex asks "If you are so powerful, why can't you kill all the reapers with the snap of your fingers?"

"I can handle any I can see no problem, but there are tens of thousands of them at least and I don't know where they are all. Besides, I'm not here to handle your problems for you. I'm sorry if I sound cold but I have my reasons for doing so" I said.

Ashley says "My mind is just blown at all this. But I'm glad someone like you has this power. What did you do when you first got your powers?"

"I trained myself to use them, carefully tested my limits, increased my endurance so I'd last a long time to be safe. I had it hard and wanted peace and while I didn't feel that it is nice to know you can handle anything that comes your way" I said.

"Then you used your abilities to help your world" she said.

"What? No." I said.

Ashley asks "You didn't use them to help your people?"

"Nah screw them."

"What? How could you be so selfish?" Ashley said.

"Watch it. They are the selfish ones. The information is out there and if they wanted to, they could have figured it out. I left and am never going back. Goodbye. Adiós. I'll come back never. Great now my vibe is lowered, and I need Tali to raise it back up. If you have any other questions ask Garrus, Shepard, Mordin, Joker, Edi, or Grunt. They'll fill you in.
