Me: It's time for chapter 2 which is everyone's favourite Caterpie episode!
Alex: It's not my favourite. I hate that episode.
Ash: Oh stop being so moody Alex. This is supposed to be fun.
Alex: Can we just start the story already?
Me: Fine fine. Ash could you announce the chapter's name.
Ash: Chapter 2-The Butterfree Chronicles!
Ash,Alex,Misty and Pikachu are travelling through Viridian Forest. Ash is extremely excited.
"I can't wait to catch lots of Bug Pokemon!" Ash yells out excitedly. Misty on the other hand is alot less excited.
"Can we please just hurry up and get out of this forest," she looks around nervously.
"We literally just entered. Like if we turned around and walked a few steps we'd be back on Route 2." Alex replies.
Misty suddenly turns around. "That's a good idea! Let's go back and postpone this whole trip until tomorrow huh?"
"Don't be ridiculous Misty. We're gonna keep marching forward. Onwards!" Ash yells and carries on his merry way. Alex shrugs and follows along. Misty looks at the path hesistantly before chasing after the guys. "Wait up!"
"Everyone stop!" Ash holds out his hand. He points ahead,"Look a Pokemon."
Ahead of them,just minding it's business is a Caterpie. Ash takes out his PokeDex and scans it.
Caterpie the Worm Pokemon. A Bug type. Its body is soft and weak. In nature, its perpetual fate is to be seen by others as food.
"Well that's depressing." Alex mutters.
Caterpie evolves into Metapod. This Caterpie is Male.
"I'm gonna catch it," Ash pulls out a Pokeball. Misty suddenly grabs onto him.
"Please not that thing!" She shouts at him. Ash just looks at her confused and tosses the Pokeball anyway.
"No!"
The Pokeball hits Caterpie and sucks it in. wiggle wiggle ding
"Alright!" Ash picks up the Pokeball and strikes a pose, "I caught Caterpie!"
Pikachu imitates Ash's pose
Pikachu!
"Nicely done. Can we keep going now?" Alex asks bored.
"Wait first I want to introduce Caterpie to everyone," Ash says as he prepares to let Caterpie out. Misty suddenly shrieks in fear.
"Keep that Pokemon in it's Pokeball!"
"What's wrong Misty?" Ash asks genuinely confused, "You're not scared of Caterpie are you?"
"Scared? No I'm not scared!"
"Then I can let Caterpie out." Ash tosses the Pokeball, "Come on out Caterpie!"
Pie
Caterpie looks around confused. Misty slowly starts backing away.
"Hi Caterpie my name is Ash and I'm your new friend," Ash offers his hand to Caterpie...who immediately makes a beeline towards Misty.
"Aaaaaaah!" Misty screams and starts running around. "Keep that thing away from me! Don't you know that Bugs are three of the most disgusting things in the world!"
Caterpie looks at her confused. It heads back over to Ash who picks it up.
"Besides you what are the other three?" Ash replies. Misty stops running and takes a few breathes.
"Ha ha very funny. For your information it's carrots, peppers and bugs."
"Well I like carrots, peppers and bugs." Ash replies.
"I hate peppers." Alex butts in.
"What I don't like is you hurting Caterpie's feelings." Ash says towards Misty,completely ignoring Alex's contribution to their conversation.
"Hey how about this. You can bond with that creepy little Bug and I'll take Pikachu." Misty says and picks Pikachu up. Ash smirks and closes his eyes.
"You wish. Pikachu only likes me and zaps anyone else who gets close to him."
"Uh Ash you may want to look again." Alex butts in again. Ash opens his eyes only to see Pikachu happily cuddling with Misty.
"Pikachu," Ash growls angrily. Pikachu looks at him embarrased.
Pika?
Pie...
They all notice Caterpie watching with tears in it's eyes.
"Oh now you made him cry. Nice going Misty. Let's go Caterpie. If Misty can't accept you then we'll just go on without her." Ash turns and starts walking away. Pikachu immediately hops out of Misty's arms and chases after Ash.
"Are you seriously just going to leave me here" Misty yells at Ash who ignores her. She glances over at Alex who has just been watching everything. "Alex?"
He just grins and waves at her before following Ash.
"You guys suck!"
Ash,Alex,Pikachu and Caterpie are heading down a path. Pikachu glances back and sees Misty following them.

"What is it Pikachu?" Ash looks around just in time to see Misty ducking behind a tree.
"Why are you still following me!" Ash yells at her. Misty comes out of hiding.
"My bike remember!" Misty yells back at him.
"I'm sure it has nothing to do with the crippling fear of being left alone in a forest full of bugs right?" Alex asks mockingly. Misty glares at him.
"Are we going to stand here all day debating my motives or are we going to get a move on?" Misty asks.
"Fine let's keep going." Ash says and they carry on. Misty walks closer to them and Alex grins at her.
"You know I saw you an hour ago right?" Misty sticks her tongue out at him.
Pidgeo!
A Pidgeotto flies past them and lands nearby. It starts pecking at the ground.
"Another Pokemon!" Ash shouts excitedly. He pulls out his PokeDex to scan it.
Pidgeotto the Bird Pokemon. A Normal/Flying type. Pidgeotto claims a large area as its own territory. This Pokémon flies around, patrolling its living space. If its territory is violated, it shows no mercy in thoroughly punishing the foe with its sharp claws. Pidgeotto is the evolved form of Pidgey and evolves into Pidgeot. This Pidgeotto is Male.
Pidgeotto suddenly looks over at them and notices Caterpie. It takes flight and heads directly towards them.
"I think it wants to eat your Caterpie." Alex tells Ash.
"What! Absolutely not! Pikachu use Thundershock!"
Pikachu fires a Thundershock at Pidgeotto but the Pokemon flaps it's wings quickly creating a burst of wind and pushing it above the attack. It then dives directly towards Caterpie.
"Caterpie No!" Ash yells out. Caterpie clenches it's eyes shut and fires a String Shot hitting Pidgeotto's foot and getting it stuck. Pikachu then fires another Thundershock hitting the Pidgeotto. The Bird falls to the ground.
"Quick Ash catch up!" Misty yells at him. Ash pulls out a Pokeball and tosses it at Pidgeotto sucking it in. wiggle wiggle wiggle ding
"Alright I caught Pidgeotto!"
Pikachu!
"Nice work Pikachu! And you too Caterpie!"
Caterpie opens it's eyes and looks around confused
Pie?
The group have set up camp for the night. They have laid out their sleeping bags. Ash has returned Caterpie to his Pokeball.
"I'm still not used to sleeping on the ground." Misty moans.
"How long have you been travelling anyway?" Ash asks curiously.
"Not that long. I only left home recently." Misty answers.
"What town are you from?" Ash asks.
Misty's eyes widen. "Well look at the time! Goodnight Ash! Goodnight Alex! Goodnight Pikachu!" Misty pretends to fall asleep. Ash,Alex and Pikachu just look at each other confused before shrugging and going to sleep themselves.
Pikachu wakes up at somepoint in the night. He notices Caterpie is out and staring at the full moon. Pikachu heads over to Caterpie.
Pi Pika Pikachu(Hi Caterpie. Why are you up so late?)
Pie pie Caterpie(Oh sorry Pikachu did I wake you?)
Pikachu Chu Pi(No. Are you ok? You seem upset?)
Pie pie(I'm just thinking. Do you have a dream Pikachu?)
Pika Pika Pikapi(An army of human slaves who will feed and pet me whenever I want. Also I guess making Ash a Pokemon Master, if we have time)
Caterpie Caterpie(Well I want to evolve into a beautiful Butterfree and soar through the sky)
Pikachu Pikachu(That's beautiful Caterpie)
Caterpie glances at Misty and looks down sadly.
Pie Pie Caterpie...(Maybe then Misty will like me...)
Pikachu pats Caterpie on the back.
Misty slowly opens her eyes the next morning only to come face to face with Caterpie.
"AAAAAAAAAAH!"
Ash and Pikachu immediately leap to their feet alert
"What's wrong!"
Pikachu!
"Get this disgusting bug away from me and into it's Pokeball!"
Caterpie starts tearing up.
"Misty you are so unbelievable! Caterpie means no harm! Why it likes you I'll never understand!"
Ash notices Caterpie sadly heading over to it's Pokeball.
"Caterpie just ignore her. Caterpie?"
Caterpie returns itself to it's Pokeball.
"Caterpie!"
Ash turns towards Misty angrily.
"Alright Misty you apologize to Caterpie this instant. Pokemon have feelings to you know?"
Misty turns away from Ash stubborningly, but she glances back at the Pokeball guiltily. Alex yawns and sits up.
"Goodmorning friends." He looks around confused, "What happened now?"
They suddenly hear laughing. They look around confused.
"So we meet again."
Team Rocket leap out from their hiding spots.
Jessie: Prepare for trouble!
James: Make it double!
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!
James: To unite all peoples within our nation!
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James: To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie: Jessie!
James: James!
Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!
James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth: Meowth! That's right!
"Not these guys again." Alex groans.
"We're kinda busy here so if you guys could-" Ash starts saying before he is interrupted
"Quiet twerp!" Jessie yells, "We're here to steal your Pikachu so hand it over!"
"What no way? Go catch your own Pikachu. There's plenty around here."
"We don't want any other Pikachu. We want that one." James answers and points dramatically at Ash's Pikachu.
Pikachu?
"Your Pikachu is very rare. It's power level is beyond anything we have ever seen before. Now give it to us." Meowth says.
"Absolutely not." Ash replies.
Jessie and James pull out their pokeballs.
"Well then you leave us no choice. Go Ekans!"
"Go Koffing!"
Ekans!
Koffing!
"Pikachu use-"
"Koffing Sludge now!"
Koffing fires Sludge hitting Pikachu in the eyes and blinding it.
Pika!
"Oh no Pikachu!"
"I've been there buddy," Alex adds.
"Ash call out one of your other Pokemon otherwise they're going to take Pikachu!" Misty yells.
"I choose Pidgeotto!" Ash yells and tosses his Pokeball. Pidgeotto pops out.
"You really think that bird can take both of our Pokemon?" Jessie asks.
"I'll help! I call Staryu!" Misty tosses her pokeball and Staryu pops out.
Hiya!
Everyone looks at Alex to see what he's going to do. He just raises his hands and takes a seat.
"Hey these guys already beat me once before. I have no desire to get involved again."
"Fine just watch Pikachu for me alright?" Ash asks and hands Pikachu over to Alex.
"Don't worry. They won't take him from me." Alex takes out his baseball bat and leans it next to him.
"Enough stalling! Let's battle!" Jessie yells. "Wrap!"
Ekans leaps forward and wraps itself around Staryu.
"Staryu use Rapid Spin!"
Staryu starts spinning at incredible speeds causing Ekans to get pulled along with it.
Ekansssssss!
Ekans gets thrown from Staryu and lands on the ground all knotted up.
"Oh no my poor Ekans! James do something!"
"Right! Koffing use Poison Gas!"
"Pidgeotto use Whirlwind to blow the Gas back!"
Pidgeotto starts flapping it's wings quickly creating a bunch of wind which blows the Gas back towards Team Rocket.
"Quick Gas masks on!"
Team Rocket place Gas masks on themselves protecting them from the Poison Gas.
"Ha we thought ahead!" Meowth yells. Ekans untangles itself and gets back up for battle.
"Why aren't their Pokemon affected by the gas?" Ash asks confused.
"Because they're poison types so they can't be poisoned." Misty answers.
"Oh right I remember Professor Oak mentioning something about that."
"Ekans Poison Tail now!"
Ekans leaps forward and smacks Pidgeotto with it's tail.
Pidgeo!
"Aaah!"
"Now Koffing Take Down!"
Koffing rushes forward and slams into Pidgeotto driving it to the ground. Pidgeotto faints.
"Oh no Pidgeotto return!"
"Now the twerpette's Pokemon!" Meowth yells.
"This might be bad." Misty says.
Ash grabs another Pokeball.
"I have an idea. Go Caterpie!"
Caterpie pops out and immediately widens it's eyes at seeing Ekans and Koffing infront it.
"Caterpie! Ash you can't be serious!" Misty says, "Caterpie can't handle those Pokemon!"
"I believe in Caterpie. He can do it Misty."
"You actually think that worm can beat us?" Jessie asks.
"I think he's mocking us Jessie." James adds in.
"The poor thing's terrified." Meowth starts laughing.
"Ekans use Poison Tail!"
"Koffing use Tackle!"
The two Pokemon rush towards Caterpie.
"Ash recall Caterpie now!" Misty yells at him.
"Caterpie use String Shot! Alot of it!"
Caterpie starts firing lots of string at Ekans and Koffing causing the two Pokemon to get stuck and quickly covered in string. The two try to move but can't.
"That's not good." James says.
"That's actually quite smart." Misty admits.
"Do I have to do everything myself?" Meowth asks annoyed. He approaches Caterpie threateningly. "Taste my Fury Swipes!"
Caterpie fires more String covering Meowth as well. Meowth starts screaming beneath the string.
"Alright Staryu use Water Gun!"
Staryu fires the Water Gun hitting the three stuck Pokemon and blasting them towards Team Rocket. All three have fainted.
"That didn't end the way I thought it would." James admits as him and Jessie return their Pokemon. They pick up Meowth.
"I think it's time we leave." Jessie says.
They take off running.
"You may have won this time but we'll be back!" James yells.
"Come back anytime! We'll be glad to beat you!" Alex yells at them.
"You didn't do anything." Misty reminds Alex.
"I was giving you moral support."
"We won! We won our first trainer battle!" Ash jumps around excitedly. He picks up Caterpie. "You're awesome Caterpie!"
Caterpie!
"Is he always like that?" Misty asks Alex.
"Yep. For the whole time I've known him he loves Pokemon more than anything."
Misty turns towards Ash only to see him holding Caterpie right up to her face.
"Aaah!"
"Don't you think you owe Caterpie a thank you?" Ash asks.
"I yeah...ok I guess I do." She slowly reaches out to touch Caterpie when he suddenly starts glowing.
"It's attacking!" She falls backwards in fright.
"Relax it's just evolving." Alex tells her. Ash stays at Caterpie in amazement as it evolves before his very eyes into Metapod.
"Wow. That was awesome! Let me quickly scan you." Ash pulls out the PokeDex and scans Metapod.
Metapod the Cocoon Pokemon. A Bug type. The shell covering this Pokémon's body is as hard as an iron slab. Metapod does not move very much. It stays still because it is preparing its soft innards for evolution inside the hard shell. Metapod is the evolved form of Caterpie and evolves into Butterfree. This Metapod is Male.
"So you may evolve again soon? I can't wait! Oh you're the best Metapod!" Ash yells and hugs Metapod. Pikachu, who has since cleaned the Sludge out of it's eyes, stares at him betrayed.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss when it was a Caterpie." Misty mumbles under her breath.
A Beedrill suddenly flies past her causing her to scream and run off in fear.
"Misty slow down!" Ash and Pikachu chase after her. Alex rolls his eyes and walks after them whistling.
Ash,Alex,Misty and Pikachu are still travelling through Viridian Forest.
"We're almost there. I'm sure of it." Alex says.
"Just admit we're lost." Misty moans annoyed.
"We are not lost. I know exactly where we are going." Alex replies.
"We've been wandering around this forest for three days now!" Misty yells. "I hate it here!"
"Um Misty there's something crawling on your shoe." Ash adds.
"What?" Misty looks down and sees a Weedle. "Aaaaaaah!" She kicks it off her towards Ash who takes out his PokeDex to scan it.
Weedle the Hairy Bug Pokemon. A Bug/Poison type. Beware of the sharp stinger on its head. It hides in grass and bushes where it eats leaves.
Weedle evolves into Kakuna. This Weedle is Female.
"Yes another Pokemon!" Ash grabs a pokeball.
"Are you going to let anyone else have a turn?" Alex asks.
"Oh sorry Alex do you want to catch it?" Ash asks.
"No."
"Uh alright then...hey where did it go?"
Misty screams again as the Weedle went right back to her. She once again kicks it and takes off running.
"Just hurry up and catch it!" She screams as she abandons her sort-of-friends.
"Never fear Ash is here! Go Pidgeotto!"
Pidgeo!
Misty has stopped running and is taking some deep breaths.
"This forest is filled with disgusting slimy Pokemon! I wish they'd all just bug off!"
Suddenly a Samurai leaps out from behind a tree with his sword drawn. Misty is about to scream again when the sword stops inches from her face.
"Greetings shrieking maiden. Are you a trainer from the town of Pallet?" The Samurai asks her.
"No that's not me." Misty replies terrified.
"Alas my search continues." The Samurai sheathes his sword and starts walking down the path Misty came from. He stops for a few seconds and looks back at her.
"I would advise you to restrain from further shrieking unless your goal is attract a horde of Beedrill." and he carries on his way.
Misty just slumps to her knees.
(What a weird kid. I wonder why he would be looking for a Pokemon trainer from-)
She suddenly hops to her feet in realization and starts running down the path.
"Ash!"
Pidgeotto hits Weedle with a Quick Attack knocking the Hairy Bug into a tree.
"Alright now use Gust!"
Pidgeotto flaps it's wings and sends a burst of wind hitting the Weedle and causing it to faint.
"Nice going Pidgeotto! Now I'll just catch it!" Ash enlarges a Pokeball and prepares to throw it. Samurai, who has been watching for a bit, leaps out with his sword drawn when Alex suddenly bashes him over the head with his baseball bat. Samurai crashes to the ground with a loud clang. Misty comes running up soon afterwards.
"Ash look-oh."
"Huh?" Ash looks over and sees Samurai laying on the ground. "Are you ok?"
Samurai gets back to his feet and dusts himself off. "Yes thank you for your concern. I do not know what happened." He glances at Alex who whistles and hides his bat behind him. Samurai turns his attention back to Ash.
"I am looking for a trainer from the town of Pallet. I heard that four of them had departed four days ago and I have already challenged two of them."
Alex's eyebrow raises at this comment.
"Well I'm a trainer from Pallet Town but I'm a little busy at the moment." Ash replies.
"Then I have found you at last." He points his sword at Ash. "I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!"
"I'll be happy to-oh wait I forgot Weedle!" Ash turns only to see the Weedle has got away. "Aww."
He turns to Samurai angrily. "That Weedle only got away because you distracted me."
"Do not blame me for your screw ups. Your Pokemon handling is dimwitted and clumsy."
"Oh yeah well-" Alex suddenly shoves between them.
"You said you challenged two trainers from Pallet Town already right? Was it a girl named Leaf and a boy named Gary?" He asks.
"Yes both good trainers who really put up a challenge. Despite my best efforts I was not able to overcome either of them." Samurai replies.
Alex looks at Ash.
"I'm battling him first."
"Uh sure go ahead." Ash says and steps back.
"Apologies but I have no interest in battling anyone except the Trainers from Pallet."
Well you're in luck because I also happen to be from Pallet Town."
Alex and Samurai are preparing to battle. Ash,Misty and Pikachu are watching from the sidelines.
"You know Ash I'm surprised you didn't put up a fight when Alex said he wanted to battle first." Misty tells him.
"I learnt a long time ago that if Alex is determined about something, the best thing to do is just step back and let him do it." Ash replies.
"This will be a one on one Pokemon Battle! For my Pokemon I choose Pinsir!" Samurai yells and tosses his Pokeball.
Pinsir!
Alex takes out his Pokedex and scans it.
Pinsir the Stag Beetle Pokemon. A Bug type. Pinsir is astoundingly strong. It can grip a foe weighing twice its weight in its horns and easily lift it. This Pokémon's movements turn sluggish in cold places. Pinsir has no known evolution. This Pinsir is Female.
"That is so cool. I want one." Alex says.
"Send out your Pokemon novice." Samurai says.
"Did you just call me a novice? Alright I was gonna use this battle to keep Eevee some training but now you can forget it. Go Charmander!" Alex yells and throws his Pokeball
Charmander!
"Ha you are the trainer who picked Charmander I see." Samurai says, "Do not think this will be an easy victory, for my Pinsir has defeated many fire Pokemon and-"
Charmander unleashes an Ember hitting Pinsir
Pinsir!
"I wasn't done talking!" Samurai yells at Alex.
"Hey it's not my fault you weren't paying attention." Alex replies as Samurai's Pinsir faints from the attack.
"Ha. Clever. Quite clever. Very well I admit defeat. You are indeed a smart trainer worthy of respect." Samurai bows to Alex and returns his Pinsir.
"Wait it's over already? Ah I was looking forward to some intense Pokemon battling." Ash whines.
"Atleast it's your turn now." Misty replies.
"Oh yes! Ok let's do this Pikachu!"
Pikachu doesn't reply. Ash looks down and sees Pikachu is taking a nap.
"You're sleeping now?" Ash sighs, "Alright I'll use a different Pokemon then."
Samurai and Ash are preparing to battle.
"I will grant you the honour of sending out your Pokemon first." Samurai tells Ash.
Alex and Misty are both sitting on the grass nearby.
"He just doesn't want to risk losing so quickly again." Alex rolls his eyes.
Ash takes out two Pokeballs and examines them.
(I should use Pidgeotto but it's still tired from battling Weedle earlier, and since Pikachu is being a lazy butt my only option is Metapod.) Ash throws his pokeball
"Metapod I choose you!"
Metapod Metapod
"He's using Metapod?" Misty asks stunned.
"A Metapod? An excellent choice," Samurai says, "Now my Pokemon. Go!"
He tosses his Pokeball and out pops...a Metapod

"Oh great." Misty moans. Alex chuckles.
"This should be fun."
The two Metapods are facing away from each other. Infact they probably don't even realize what's going.
"This will be an intense battle." Samurai says.
"My Metapod is superior to yours!" Ash yells. "Metapod use Harden!"
Ash's Metapod hardens
"Metapod Harden like his!" Samurai yells
Samurai's Metapod hardens
"Maximum Hardeness Metapod!" Ash yells
"Harden some more Metapod!" Samurai yells
"We may as well get comfy. This is gonna be awhile." Alex tells Misty who just groans in frustration.
Time passes
"More power Metapod. Samurai's is weakening."
"Harder. You're the stronger Metapod."
More time passes
The legendary Metapod battle carries on.
"We could be stuck in this forest for the rest of our lives. Boys can be so stubborn." Misty mumbles.
"Hey I take offense to that." Alex says.
"Don't give up Metapod!" Ash yells as the two Pokemon continue to harden.
Alex sighs, "OK I'm bored now."
He heads over to Samurai and Ash.
"Can I just ask a few questions quickly? Samurai did you catch that Metapod or did it evolve from a Caterpie?"
"A fine question. I got this Metapod only a few days ago and have been training it eversince." Samurai answers.
"Hmm interesting. Now Ash do me a favour and use your PokeDex to check your Metapod's moveset."
"Um sure Alex." Ash says confused but complies
Metapod knows the moves Harden,Tackle and String Shot
"Say what now?" Samurai asks confused.
"Metapod use Tackle!" Ash yells and his Metapod leaps forward slamming into Samurai's Metapod. Due to both Pokemon being equally Hardened the damage is tremendous and Samurai's Metapod faints instantly.
"Aaaah! It can't be!" Samurai falls to his knees. "Two loses in one day!"
"Yes! We did it Metapod! Woohoo!"
Metapod
"Finally it's over." Misty says. Pikachu chooses that moment to wake up from it's nap.
Pikachu
Samurai returns his Metapod and heads over to Ash. He offers him his hand.
"This was the most intense battle I have ever taken part in. You deserve my respect."
Ash shakes Samurai's hand
"Thank you Samurai. It was truly a battle for the ages."
Buzz Buzz
"Hey what's that noise?" Misty asks confused. Samurai's eyes widen
"Oh no. It's a Beedrill swarm!"
The Beedrill swarm heads towards them. They are angry.
"That Weedle from earlier must have alerted them! Run to my cabin we will be safe there!" Samurai yells and they start running. Ash grabs Metapod and chases after the others. The Beedrill swarm is gaining on him.
"Don't worry Metapod I won't let anything happen to you!" Ash yells, then suddenly he trips.
"Aaaaah!" Metapod goes flying out of his arms and Ash slams into the ground. Misty looks back and seesw what has happened.
"Ash!"
Alex turns and immediately starts running back
"I'm coming buddy!"
A Beedrill dives towards Ash when Metapod suddenly leaps in the way. The Beedrill's Twin Needle attack strikes Metapod knocking the Pokemon to the ground
"No Metapod!" Ash crawls towards Metapod.
"Metapod are you ok?"
Metapod suddenly starts glowing and evolves into a Butterfree.
"What-" Ash is about to comment when Butterfree suddenly takes flight. It flies directly towards the Beedrill swarm and starts releasing blue powder around them. All the Beedrill quickly fall to sleep.
"You put them all to sleep." Ash looks around stunned. Butterfree flies over to him and lands on his shoulder.

Alex,Misty,Samurai and Pikachu run over to them.
"Oh good you're ok." Alex says.
"Your Metapod has evolved into a Butterfree,that is most impressive." Samurai says.
"It's so beautiful." Misty says.
"A Butterfree?" Ash pulls out his Pokedex and scans Butterfree. In the background Alex drops a pokeball on one of the passed out Beedrill.
Butterfree the Butterfly Pokemon. A Bug/Flying type. Butterfree has a superior ability to search for delicious honey from flowers. It can even search out, extract, and carry honey from flowers that are blooming over six miles from its nest. Butterfree is the evolved form of Metapod. This Butterfree is Male.
"This trail will lead you to Pewter City." Samurai tells the group.
"Thank you for the help Samurai." Ash tells him.
"Yes. I'm so sick of this forest." Misty adds.
Samurai nods his head in farewell and the group start heading down the path.
"I'm going to be so glad to be out of this forest and away from all those Bugs." Misty tells Ash.
"Uh hey Misty I don't want to alarm you...but there's a Beedrill behind you." Ash points behind her.
"What!" Misty turns and sees a Beedrill buzzing around. She screams and takes off down the path. Alex bursts out laughing and returns Beedrill.
"That was priceless!"

Me: And that ends that chapter. I thought of a few more rules I forgot to mention about Pokemon moves. Firstly there isn't a four move limit and secondly TMs and HMs don't exist. Some of those moves will just be learnt naturally by the Pokemon.
