The lion guard what if series. What if Zira actually attacked Kion?
Hey guys, something a little different to what my average reader is used to. Story really came to me yesterday, so I hope this story finds the ones that were looking for this story. Enjoy, God loves you all.
Chapter 1: race to the out lands.
Laughs echo across the pride-lands. Laughs that differentiates from the other laughs around the lands. This special laugh reminds some of the good old days, when Simba and Nala were still little cubs and would mess around with each other all day. These days though, the laughs come from a lion and (I know, it's a weird combo,) a honey badger. Lion and Bunga were playing the game that (man it already feels so long ago,) led to Kion finding his roar. It started the ongoing battle between the pride-lands and the out-lands, a battle between what's right and what's wrong. Over time though the difference between what is right and wrong has faded. Not because the royal family or the lion guard have changed the rules or breached them, it's the change in view. That one jackal baby seemed nice, but he and his family betrayed the pride-lands trust on the day of unity. All hyena's used to be bad, but now, there are some good ones. Speaking of hyena's…
Kion and Bunga are interrupted in their game as gazelle's come leaping from behind a nearby bush almost trampling fearless Bunga. Kion and Bunga look confused as the gazelle's run past, though what they're yelling grabs their interest.
'Hyena in the pride-lands! HYENA IN THE PRIDE-LANDS!'
'All right Hyena! You picked the wrong day to come into the pride lands!' Bunga says, as the very bush the gazelle's came from begins to move. He jumps back and forth standing as confident as he possible can, awaiting the unknown threat inside. Though, there isn't much to worry about. Because the hyena that reveals itself, is no Janja or other fur brain. It's Jasiri.
'Hey Bunga.' Jasiri said excitedly.
'Wait, you're not from Janja's clan. You're the hyena that helped Kion when he was trapped in the Out lands!' Bunga responded, clearly excited himself.
Jasiri laughed in response. 'We helped each other.' She said.
'Jasiri! What are you doing in the Pride Lands?' Kion asked, happy to see an old friend.
'Looking for you. I have a problem back home, and I need your help.' Jasiri said, clearly worried about something.
'Janja causing trouble?' Kion asked.
'No. Actually, it's lions.' Jasiri revealed.
'Lions in the out lands?' Kion wondered.
'They've taken over our watering hole, they won't share it.' Jasiri said, clearly upset.
'How are there lions out there?' Bunga asked.
'Don't judge a lion because it's a lion. Just like you shouldn't judge a hyena by being, a hyena.' Jasiri said wisely.
'You sure it was lions?' Bunga asked.
'I know what lions look like, I'm looking at one now.' Jasiri said.
'I'll talk to them, I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding.' Kion said.
'Thank you Kion.' Jasiri responded.
'Bunga, go back to the lair. Let the rest of the guard know I'm going to the out lands with Jasiri.' Kion ordered his friend.
'Okay, we'll meet up with you there.' Bunga said.
'No need, I should be right back, it's probably just a misunderstanding.' Kion responded.
'I sure hope so.' Jasiri commented.
'Lead the way Jasiri.' Kion said. Both Kion and Jasiri disappearing quickly.
'See ya, oh and by the way, I win!' Bunga said, picking up the baobab fruit he and Kion were playing with.
In the out lands.
'You know, I was afraid you weren't gonna help me.' Jasiri revealed.
'Why wouldn't I, we've helped each other before.' Kion wondered.
'That was different, those were hyena's, these, are lions.' Jasiri said.
'They probably don't realize hyena's don't have to be bad. Took me long enough.' Kion said with a smile on his face.
Jasiri laughed. 'That's true, it did take some time.'
Kion then meets with Jasiri's clan, it's your average clan of female hyena's with a few young cute hyena cubs involved.
'Wow, you weren't kidding, you really are friends with a lion.' One of Jasiri's clan mates said, surprised to see the young lion.
'Kion, this is my sister, Madoa.' Jasiri revealed.
'Nice to meat you.' Lion said.
The baby hyena's seem very afraid of kion, hiding behind a rock, watching the scene from a distance.
'You can't blame them, all they know are bad lions.' Madoa said.
'Like the ones that stole our watering hole.' Jasiri said with an annoyed tone.
'Well that's why I'm here.' Kion responded. 'I don't know why those lions are in the out lands, but I'm sure I can clear things up.'
'I hope so, the little ones need the water.' Madoa responded.
'We all do.' Jasiri commented.
'Then there's no time to lose. Let's go Jasiri.' Kion said, Kion and Jasiri both leaving quickly towards where they needed to be. So what needed to happen, would happen.
Meanwhile in the pride lands
'Hey, guys. Guys!' Bunga said, entering the lion guard lair. Rafiki was busy painting, the other lion guard members also seemed to be pretty occupied with something.
'You're back just in time.' Beshte told Bunga, hearing him loudly enter the lair. 'Ono and Fuli are about to race!'
'What, again?' Bunga asked, knowing how dumb it sounded for a bird to try and race the literal fastest animal in the pride lands.
'Affirmative.' Ono responded, feeling confident as ever. 'But this time, I'm going to win.'
'You say that every time.' Fuli said, clearly enjoying herself. 'Ready?'
'Ready, Bunga be the ref.' Ono responded.
'Oh right.' Bunga responded, getting into place with a palm leaf on a high rock so he had clear view of the start and finish line. 'On your marks, get set, go!'
Fuli led the way, Ono chasing close behind. 'I'm right on your tail!' Ono said to try and strike fear in his friend-, no I mean opponent.
'That's what you think!' Fuli responded. Speeding off into the distance, getting across the finish line first.
'Nice race.' Fuli simply commented, Ono still catching his breath.
'Almost had her.' Bunga joked.
'It was close wasn't it.' Ono convinced himself. 'Hmm, maybe if I flatten my head feathers to reduce drag, and stay closer to Fuli's tail to take advantage of her slipstream.' He thought out loud.
'What are you talking about Ono.' Bunga asked, no one clearly knowing the words Ono was mentioning.
'I'm talking about winning!' Ono responded confidently.
