The new year had begun at U.A. For Christmas, Aizawa brought Eri dressed as Santa, one of the cutest things most if not all of Class 1-A had ever seen.
Deku was out on a patrol when he saw someone using his Quirk to shrink people. He brought restraints that suppressed Quirks, but as he was trying to get them onto the villain, the villain shrunk him to four inches tall. The restraints didn't shrink with him, but his hero costume did. When he realized what had happened, he thought of who to call. Looking at his phone, he decided to go with Ochaco Uraraka, his crush. He called her and she said, "Hello, Deku!"
"Listen… a villain shrunk me. I could use One For All to make my way back to the dorms, but I'd rather have someone with me. Can you come pick me up?"
"Where are you right now, anyway?"
After Deku told her where he was, he got off the ground and onto a pole attached to the ground. As he waited for her, he had to fight off insects.
When Uraraka arrived, he said, "Down here!"
She noticed him and said, "I see you were in your costume when you shrunk, so I suppose you can't wear your uniform until we reset your size,"
"I didn't think about that until you mentioned it,"
Uraraka lowered her hand to Deku's level, keeping it flat with her palm facing up. She said, "Deku, can… can I hold you?"
He jumped onto her hand and realized how good it felt to be held. Her hand was so soft and warm. She said, "Now to head back to the dorms."
Along the way, it got dark. Before he realized it, Deku took a nap in her hand. When Uraraka noticed, she found it adorable and supported him with her other hand, hoping to not wake him before they headed inside.
When they made it inside, Shoto Todoroki asked, "Where's Midoriya?"
Uraraka said, "Someone shrunk him and he's now taking a nap in my hand,"
Mina said, "Are you gonna cuddle with him in bed?"
Uraraka's face turned red and she ran to her room. That woke up Deku, who said, "What happened?"
"You took a nap!" Uraraka said.
Deku was about to ask why she was yelling, but realized his heart rate was increasing too. She got into bed with Deku underneath her hand and fell asleep. Deku also fell asleep, noticing how good it felt to sleep with a giant hand over his body. It was soft and warm then too, but now it also felt like a hug.
During the night, Deku felt weird in his dream. When he woke up, he was on top of Uraraka and back to his normal size. Under his breath, he said, "So the shrinking Quirk was temporary,"
He tried to get out of bed without waking Uraraka up, but she felt his weight increase due to the shrinking decreasing his mass. She said, "Deku! Um…"
"I'm heading back to my room now. Holy woah, a girl cuddled me in her sleep!"
Deku got out and went back to his room.
A few hours later, the Sun rose and Class 1-A all gathered… all except for Ochaco. Deku said, "Where is she?"
Bakugo replied, "How should I know?!"
Todoroki said, "I don't know either."
Deku went to her bedroom again and didn't see her. Before he could worry that she had been kidnapped, she emerged from her bed, also shrunken. Deku said, "You didn't shrink when my size was reset. So maybe that villain shrunk you in your sleep,"
Uraraka said, "Can you hold me, Deku?"
He picked her up, but his scarred hands were uncomfortable, so she said, "I'll just ride in your fluffy hair,"
Deku blushed but watched Uraraka float up to his hair, landing in it.
They stayed together throughout the day, but Uraraka took a nap in his hair. When Deku realized that, he found it adorable.
Deku assumed the effects of the shrinking Quirk would be temporary for Uraraka like it was for him, and once he felt her get heavier on his hair, he set her on the ground and watched her grow back to her natural size. She woke up when she started growing back to her natural size, and she said, "Deku, the truth is… I love you!"
She blushed again and floated away, but Deku grabbed her hand and said, "I love you too!"
He pulled her in and asked, "May we kiss?"
Uraraka kissed him as her answer to it. It felt so good. Deku said, "So… we're dating now?"
Uraraka said, "Sure thing!"
