Hey everyone! And here is the third chapter of my story. We're gonna get to the point where Green Arrow, Batman and Superman cross paths and meet.

This is the best meeting scene between Batman and Superman that I love.

Good reading.

Chapter 3: Heroes Collide

In a LexCorp research lab, Mia stood alongside Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor to oversee the development of probe droids in the research. A robot shaped like an insect was crawling through a canyon.

Proud of his machine, Lex introduced them to:

"As you can see, the Wayne/Queen/Lex T-7 can traverse the most difficult terrain never losing sight of its ultimate target."

After climbing a rocky cliff, the robot headed for a huge container. With two legs, he lifted the box without difficulty.

One of Luthor's scientists timed the droid's crossing.

"Fourteen-point-eight seconds."

"Congratulations!" exclaimed Bruce satisfied.

"You gave your all, Mr Luthor." added Mia enthusiastically. "Your robot's awesome!"

"This is your project too both, you know." replied Luthor with pride. "And, Mia, please, call me Lex."

The young Star City woman remained professional while Bruce pursued with passion.

"Well, I'm proud of the work our three teams have done. These robots are gonna revolutionize unmanned space travel."

"You're so right, Bruce. This is a big news for Queen Consolidated," added Mia. "And I agree with your idea. Space exploration is a big step forward for us."

With a strange smile, Luthor passed his arm around the two guests.

"Bruce, Mia… Actually, there may be a use for them closer to home." he replied.

"What do you mean?" asked perplexed Mia, wondering what the bald billionaire had in mind.

Luthor had them explore his laboratory, where Mia and Bruce could see other similar robots behind windows. Proud of his tools, Luthor told them about his plans.

"The Joint Chiefs have shown tremendous interest. It doesn't take much imagination to envision these robots on the battlefield."

Luthor was looking forward to using the droids as military weapons. But Mia remained sullen. And to her great relief, Bruce shared her discontent.

In a firm but courteous tone, Mia hastened to reply:

"Withall due respect, Mr. Luthor, Queen Consolidated doesn't produce guns. I disagree with your idea."

"And I won't allow it too." added Bruce, looking cold at the bald billionaire.

"What?" exclaimed Luthor, amazed at the lack of enthusiasm of the two guests.

"I don't like guns," said the billionaire from Gotham in a cold, categorical tone.

Bruce and Mia took the path to the elevator. As they waited for the elevator, Mia stared at Lex Luthor.

"My father also hated guns. And I want to respect his wishes. My company will not become a tool of war. That's how it is. You can tell that to your dear friends in the army."

"Well, Bruce, Mia, I think I have something to say about this." said Luthor, frustrated.

"Not according to our deal." Bruce said as the elevator doors opened. "All technological applications need my approval and Miss Queen's."

"Absolutely, according to our deal." Mia said with a cold look at the bald billionaire. "And you must respect what we have agreed."

Mia joined Bruce in the elevator, and he stared at Luthor.

"Blame it on us, Lex. Tell your pals at the Pentagon. Mia and I don't have the imagination."

The elevator closed before Luthor's furious eyes.

In the elevator, Mia sighed with relief.

"Have good day, Lex the Shark! He's really interested in guns!" (Turning to Bruce.) "Thank you for supporting me."

"I am an honorable man, Mia," said the billionaire from Gotham, smiling. "I never liked the guns. Something your father and I had in common."

"Thank you, Bruce," Mia said with great gratitude. "You have no idea what it means to me to honor my father's memory."

"If Luthor fails to deliver, Wayne Enterprises will cancel the LexCorp deal."

"Same for Queen Consolidated."

They waited quietly in the elevator, while Mia resumed with a mischievous tone.

"So, are you going to put yourself on your best to seduce Lois? Are you ready to make the Man of Steel jealous?"

Bruce gave her the same mischievous smile.

"It's just a dinner. There's nothing wrong with inviting a woman alone for dinner. Besides since it's not official that Miss Lane is in a relationship with anyone. Last time I checked, she's single."

"If you say so," replied Mia, amused. "Watch out for Superman! He can fly and resist bullets!"

"What about you, Mia? What are your plans for tonight?" asked Bruce so as to divert the conversation on another topic.

Mia shrugged her shoulders.

"I was thinking of going out. Discover Metropolis. And enjoy my stay here."

"Be careful," warned the billionaire of Gotham. "The streets of Metropolis can be dangerous at night. From what I heard."

"We're in Metropolis, not Gotham City, Bruce," Mia taunted. "And I'm a big girl. I can defend myself. And if let's say I'm in trouble, all I have to do is scream for help so that the big flying guy who wears tights comes to save me. I think I can handle it."

"I'm sure about that." replied Bruce, who was always so mischievous.

"Going back to your appointment with Lois Lane, do you want some advice from me as a woman?" suggested Mia while the elevator had reached its destination. "Or is Gotham's most famous bachelor too proud to listen to a young woman like me?"

"I don't say no to advice," admitted Bruce with amusement.

"For your outfit, consider wearing a bow tie. Women like us love it. It's prettier than a tie."

Mia and Bruce left the elevator and separated.

"Thanks for your advice, Mia. I will remember that. Have a great night!" Bruce said goodbye.

In the dark streets of Metropolis, Mia walked quietly without turning around. For now, she had decided not to draw attention to Green Arrow when she had just arrived in town. Diggle hadn't contacted her. No new information on where Deathstroke might be. She would wait for her opponent to make a mistake that would betray him. And then Green Arrow can jump in.

As she walked, she noticed a few individuals looking at her with round eyes. And they began to walk in her direction. Mia did not need Superman's supervision to understand that they were thugs who wanted to harm her.

While the thugs were still trailing Mia, a few others appeared from all sides. They taunted her with roars, kisses and affectionate words to get her attention, but nothing confused her.

Mia understood that they wanted to hurt her. When she spotted a dark alley from the farthest corner of them, she decided to play along and rushed to that area, where she could disappear from view.

When the thugs saw her running down the alley, they tried to run after her, hoping to trap her inside the only place they thought she was walking foolishly. But as they looked at her, the alley was empty, leaving them amazed that the girl had somehow disappeared.

"Do you think a girl like her would interest the Joker?" asked one of them. "With her clothes, she must be rich!"

"No, no at all," said another anxiously. "I don't want to be in front of that clown! Did you see what he did to Carlini? I don't want to end up like him! And this guy, Deathstroke is able to skewer us with his damn sword!"

The thugs moved away from the alley, wondering how their prey had escaped them. Mia was hiding on an outside metal staircase above the thugs. And she heard everything. She now had a new lead on the Joker and Deathstroke.

Bruce and Lois were on their date. They were eating in a restaurant on top of one of the buildings in Metropolis. They both talked about Superman.

"So he just appears when there's trouble? No special signal?" asked the billionaire of Gotham.

"He's not like your Batman, thank goodness." replied Lois, lost in thought.

"Then how do you contact him?" Bruce replied with curiosity.

Loïs spun her stirrer in her glass, answering:

"Committing a felony helps..." (Then she stares at Bruce with a mocking look) "Listen, you seem awfully interested in Superman. Do you want me to fix you two up?"

"Sorry," replied embarrassed Bruce.

"No, I'm sorry. It's just that I was hoping to get away from the subject of the 'Man of Steel' for one night. I've been a little too consumed with him lately."

Wanting to change her mind, Bruce got up from the table and kindly took Lois by the hand.

"Maybe we could change subjects."

" No more men in tights?" suggested Loïs, following him on the dance floor.

"Deal." nodded Bruce, satisfied.

And they both danced. There seems to be a romance between them.

As Bruce danced with Lois and had a good time, Green Arrow tracked down the thugs she had met earlier. She saw one coming out of a bar. He was quietly drinking a beer, the vigilante came upon him and knocked him out with a punch in the face.

Soon after, she hung him over a roof of a building. The gangster woke up and saw with horror that he was suspended above the void. He gasped with fright, then saw the face on the back of Green Arrow who spoke to him with her distorted voice.

"I want information! And you're gonna answer me!"

"What do you want?" the scoundrel said in terror.

"Joker and Deathstroke! Where are they? What are they up to?"

"I…I…I don't know…"

"Wrong answer!"

She struck the man's sternum with a kick, which groaned in pain.

"Drop the act! I heard that your boss Carlini has been replaced by a Clown and a sword guy with a mask! Last chance! Where are Joker and Deathstroke?"

"I don't know… I swear I don't know… They contact me when they need me… I haven't seen them since they landed here! The clown must be having fun with his girlfriend Harley Quinn! And Deathstroke must be sharpening his swords! That's all I know! Maybe Binko knows that!"

"Maybe not a satisfactory answer! If I find out you lied to me, I'll come back!"

And she let him fall to the ground, while the thug howled fearfully.

Green Arrow was about to leave the building when she felt a draft of air, then the sound of a cape.

She froze. She knew who was there. Superman.

"What's going on here?"

Mia, behind her mask and hood, struggled to hide her stupor. She had seen images of the Man of Steel in television reports, photos of him in the newspapers, they had not done him justice. Seeing him in real life was something else. Superman was an intimidating presence. And Green Arrow didn't like to be so intimidated.

Wanting to appear neutral, Mia tried to keep her vigilante look neutral.

"Hello Super! I just got to town!"

Superman looked at her, frowning. Mia guessed he had to use his x-ray vision to uncover her secret identity. But he was going to be disappointed.

"Lead?" he exclaimed.

"Yeah! My hood and mask contain it." Green Arrow replied with a smile on her face. "I took precautions before coming here. You know it's rude to look under a woman's clothes. It is even perverse."

"I wasn't looking under your clothes," replied Superman. "Anyways, why the Green Arrow is in my town? Vigilantes are not welcome here."

"I have no intention of intruding into Metropolis," replied the Star City vigilante. "And I'm not the only one here."

"I know about the Joker," replied the Man of Steel. "I saw what he did to Carlini."

"The Joker is not the only threat. Deathstroke is here, too. He's a mercenary who kills for fun. And the men who follow him are not average brawlers. They are professional killers."

Superman nodded with a neutral look.

"Thanks for informing me. But I'll figure it out. I would be careful. You can go back to Star City, little girl. Metropolis doesn't need the Green Arrow."

Mia couldn't believe her ears. She knew Superman was a hero, but not that he would be arrogant and too reckless.

"Hey, you need me," she replied with a firm voice. "You don't know who you're dealing with. Joker and Deathstroke aren't guys to be taken lightly. You make a huge mistake underestimating them."

"I will make them understand that they should not have come to my city," said Superman, shrugging.

Wanting to warn the superhero of a terrible danger, Mia hastened to get to the point.

"Superman ! These guys are crazy psychopaths, but they're not stupid! They would never have come here if they didn't have the means to make you suffer. You can resist bullets! Do you think Joker and Deathstroke would have come here with nothing to fight you? And you should know that Deathstroke is making kryptonite-based guns."

Superman raised an eyebrow in amazement at this name.

Mia continua :

"I know about kryptonite and I know about John Corben. Formerly mercenary, then become Metallo. A cyborg whose heart is powered by kryptonite. Frantic people like him outnumber you."

She had heard of John Corben. Former soldier turned mercenary. One of ARGUS' most wanted men. Until someone made him a horrible cyborg, half human, half machine to become a deadly weapon against Superman.

The truth was that Mia respected Superman and considered him a role model. Although she appreciated his efforts to inspire hope in others, he nevertheless had a very naive vision of the world.

"I know you want to do the right thing. Set the example. Inspire hope. But the world is full of people who are not as caring as Lois Lane. And you cannot solve all problems with your powers. You must be smarter to be able to neutralize your opponents with kryptonite."

Superman reflects on the words of Green Arrow. Then he turned to her:

"Should I intimidate them as you do in Star City? Or terrorize them like that crazy Batman in Gotham?"

"No. I'm not talking about terrorizing people, but being smarter and not relying on your powers to get you out of trouble." she replied. "Because your powers won't always save you from everything. I know Corben almost killed you. And he won't be the last to do it. People who use kryptonite will stop at nothing to kill you! Let me help you fight Joker and Deathstroke."

"Thank you, Green Arrow," replied Superman. "I'll let you know when I need you."

He advanced before her.

"May I get by?"

Green Arrow let him pass by putting her hand on her cape.

"Superman ! Be careful!"

"I am always careful," he said, before flying at full speed.

Mia shook her annoyed head. The Man of Steel doesn't know what he's getting himself into. Joker and Deathstroke were far from wretched gangsters. And with the kryptonite statue stolen from Gotham, Joker had the means to kill him. He would never defeat them alone.

Fortunately, Green Arrow had placed a transmitter on his red cloak. A GPS tracking device. From her arsenal, she pulled out a GPS screen that showed Superman's location. She could easily follow him.

"Gotcha, Boy Scout! Superman will need the Green Arrow."

In a bar in the Hob's Bay section in Metropolis, Clark was talking to Captain Bibbo Bibbowski. The captain had already been Clark Kent's informant.

"So just keep your ears open. Let me know if you hear any buzz about the Joker or Deathstroke." said the reporter, handing him a wad of notes.

"Sure thing, Mr. Kent." said Bibbo at first enthusiastic and confused. "But, uh, which one? There's lots of jokers around here. And who is this Deathstroke?"

He doesn't see far away, the silhouette of Batman jumping from roofs to roofs.

Batman arrived at a nightclub. There he sees several associates of Carlini, now serving Joker. Before he could get off the roof, a green silhouette landed near him. Without looking at her, he knew who she was.

"What are you doing here?" he grumbled, not wanting to be disturbed by a young vigilante.

"Funny, I was going to ask you the same question." replied Green Arrow in a neutral voice. "Hello again Bats! Apparently, we're on the same lead! I'm tracking one of the Joker's men. I heard Deathstroke and your clown took the place of a crime lord. I'm chasing one of his men. According to my sources, he dances regularly in this nightclub."

"Are you getting these leads from ARGUS?" asked the Dark Knight, still without looking at her.

Mia was stunned. Thus, Batman was aware of her relationship with her godfather's federal agency. What else did he know about her?

"How do you know about that?" she exclaimed, not even trying to hide her voice.

"I make it my business to know." he replied without looking at her. "Stay out of my way!"

Green Arrow took her seriously and spoke out loud:

"Your rules only applied when you were in Gotham. Not in Metropolis. So I don't have to answer for you. I came here to find and stop Deathstroke. We find Joker, I find Deathstroke and I prevent him from harming. He's behind all the corruption in Star City. I want to end this, and don't you dare stop me, Bats!"

Batman remained silent, then finally turned to her.

"Fine! But I lead the interrogation!" he replied.

Then he broke the window and burst into the nightclub. He lands on the table where Binko, Carlini's thug, was standing. Green Arrow joined him near the thugs brandishing her bow.

All were silent when the two vigilantes appeared. The music had stopped. The dances. The lights are flashing. Like Batman silenced the place. Everyone had their eyes on Batman and the Green Arrow.

Binko remained inert against the Black Knight, while the woman who accompanied gone away.

"It's been a long time, Binko." said the Gotham vigilante in a threatening tone. "I heard your boss Carlini's been replaced. We need to talk."

While Green Arrow approached the other thugs with an imposing tone.

"We know that the Joker and Deathstroke are in town! Tell us where they are!"

A thug had raised his gun. But before he could shoot, the green archer unleashed an arrow that snatched the scoundrel's weapon.

And Batman threw a Batarang that touched another thug's weapon.

All those who were not criminals fled screaming.

Two men tried to attack Batman, but he hit them both with a judo move.

A thug jumped on the Green Arrow, but the latter reacted faster than him by using her bow like a bat and hit the man in the face. A second gangster shot her. Green Arrow dodged the bullets and fired an arrow that fired a lasso, tying up the helpless thug.

Binko joined his other acolytes.

"Get them!" he ordered them.

Batman grabs a cage with a woman still inside and throws it at the men running to hit them, dropping them to the ground.

Green Arrow fought two thugs. She knocked them both out, using combat techniques that Diggle had taught her. Then she freed the women in cages, urging them to leave the place.

A man with a gun started shooting Batman. The Dark Knight dodged the shots by running and threw a Batarang that acted like a lasso and tied the bandit all over the body. The man stumbled and fell. Binko tried to escape through the door as a Batarang and an arrow flew towards the door, preventing him from fleeing.

He backed down and bump Batman. He turned, frightened, then Batman came to grab him by the collar of his jacket and threw him against the door.

Green Arrow joined him and held her bow and arrow over him.

"You have failed this city!" she grunted.

"Where's the Joker?" Batman growled.

"Who knows? Making ha-ha with Harley Quinn." replied Blinko smiling until Batman tightened him.

"Answer the question! Joker ! Deathstroke! Where are they? Speak!" growled Green Arrow raising her voice.

Batman hoisted the thug in the air making Binko moan:

"I don't know. Honest. I never went back after they muscled in. I don't want nothing to do with that clown and that crazy masked."

"That's enough," said the familiar voice of an alien as he grabbed Batman's wrist. "I think you both got your answer."

Green Arrow discovered with amazement Superman who had just appeared out of nowhere and had caught Batman's wrist, prompting him to release the thug.

But the Gotham vigilante grabbed Superman's arm and threw the Man of Steel across the room with a judo movement. The Kryptonian fell back on a table that broke under his weight. He stared at Batman with astonishment.

"Wow!"

Even Green Arrow was amazed that her bat ally was able to repel the Man of Steel. Never before had anyone accomplished such a feat. And she noticed that Batman wasn't even intimidated or impressed by Superman. He stared at him in the same way he would look at a criminal. She knew that Batman was very strong physically, but from there to lifting Superman by the arm and throwing him at the other end of a room, it was incredible.

Taking advantage of this respite, Binko fled. Batman wanted to chase him, but Superman quickly arrived and hit him against the wall. The Dark Knight fell to the wall in anger.

Green Arrow intervened between the two superheroes.

"Hey boys! We're not fighting!" she says.

"You two have nothing to do in my town!" exclaimed Superman, haughty. (He stared coldly at Batman.) "I heard you were crazy. I didn't think you were stupid."

"Who is the stupidest here?" replied Green Arrow ironically. "The one who disregards my warnings!"

Superman ignored the Star City's vigilante and used his X-ray vision to scan Batman's face. His reaction was astounded.

"Bruce Wayne?"

At that time, it was Mia who was stunned. Did he just say Bruce Wayne? So Batman was Bruce Wayne? The famous Gotham billionaire was actually the black masked vigilante fighting crime?

Batman got up painfully, grunting at Superman.

"You peeked!"

"Wait! Really? Bruce Wayne is Batman?" wondered Green Arrow.

Batman looked at her, still sullen.

"I'm not the only one with a secret. Mia Queen."

"What?" exclaimed the stunned green archer.

Superman also turned to the Green Arrow. She was stunned by the fact that Batman knew her secret identity. How long has he known? And how could he know?

"Mia Queen?" exclaimed the Man of Steel. "Green Arrow from Star City is Mia Queen?"

Stunned, Mia stared at the two heroes. Then she realized that Superman now knew her secret.

Knowing that it was useless to deny it, she turned to Batman and clenched her teeth.

"How long have you known?"

"I told you, I make it my business to know everything." replied the Dark Knight. "I don't need ARGUS to get my leads."

"ARGUS?" surprised Superman again, frowning.

"Stay out of it, Boy Scout!" said Mia, annoyed.

"I can't do that." the Man of Steel harshly replied, staring at Green Arrow and Batman. "I won't have vigilantism in my town."

"I told you," reminded him of the green archer with a black eye. "I'm here to find Deathstroke! I'm not leaving this town until I find him! This guy is dangerous!"

"And you'll be rid of me. As soon as I find the Joker." said Batman, pulling something out of his belt.

"That may not be soon enough." said Superman, coldly.

Batman raised his hand, revealing a tiny green fragment in a plastic bag. Mia recognized it as the piece of meteor that Batman had taken from the support of the statue stolen from the Antiquities shop. In other words, a piece of kryptonite.

He lifted the bag so that it would be close to Superman. Immediately, the latter groaned in pain and retreated, weakened.

Green Arrow knew that prolonged exposure to kryptonite would kill him. She came to support Superman, while Batman took a few steps with the bag in hand, without any empathy for the Man of Steel.

"It doesn't take much, does it?" he said, seeing Superman weaken. "The Joker has twenty pounds more where this came from. Thought you might like to know."

"He get it! Take it away from him!" exclaimed Mia angrily, not wanting to see the Man of Steel suffer any more.

Batman ends up throwing the bag that contained the piece of kryptonite, which lands in a wine glass.

Superman stood up… and found that the two vigilantes had disappeared.

Green Arrow had moved away from the nightclub and found refuge on the roof of a building in the distance. She was still shocked by the revelations of the evening. She had learned Batman's secret identity, and at the same time, he knew who she was and had exposed her to Superman.

Bruce Wayne was Batman. It was incredible. And yet, everything made sense. She had a pretty good idea who the man behind the Batman mask was. It explained some things. Bruce Wayne, as a child, had seen his parents die before his eyes. Mia felt sorry for the tragedy he had experienced earlier in his life. Having known her father little before his death, she understood his grief. Bruce had to seek justice after what he had experienced in his youth. And Batman's mission was to do justice to all who deserved it. And he had tools that few people could afford, but a billionaire like Bruce Wayne could. And everything became clear to Mia. Wayne's reputation as a selfless single billionaire playboy who flirted with women, giving the impression of being casual. Mia then understood that it was only a facade. A trick to hide the fact that he was Batman. The whole appearance of a wealthy man seducing women was part of his disguise. The more superficial Bruce Wayne appeared, the less suspicious he became of being a masked vigilante who frightened criminals.

She remembered Lex Luthor's lab when he had expressed his contempt for guns. The way he said it sounded like a personal attack. As a child, he saw his parents being shot by a thief. Obviously, the guns reminded him of a bad memory. Mia understood better why he hated them. She felt compassion for him.

And the invitation she received from him. Of course, he had brought her in to oversee Luthor's project, but it was also a cover for Green Arrow to interact in Metropolis. Even John had pointed out to her that Bruce Wayne was inviting Mia to Metropolis at the same time that the Joker and Deathstroke were there, was weird. Like he wants her to understand. Would that mean that her mentor, partner, godfather and father knew that Bruce Wayne and Batman were one?

Wanting to be sure, she called Diggle.

It did not take him long to answer.

"Mia ? How is your stay in Metropolis? Any word on Gotham's psychopathic clown and our bloodthirsty mercenary?"

"Nothing about them, but I'm not calling you for that!" replied Green Arrow. "I met the flying Boy Scout and I just found out that Batman is Bruce Wayne."

A silence passed. She heard neither Diggle's voice nor any other sound.

Then he spoke again, but in a strange voice:

"Really? How do you know?"

Mia frowned under her mask and looked suspicious.

"To hear you say that, it doesn't seem to surprise you. Did you know about this? You knew who Batman was! Even Lyla, huh?"

Diggle sighed and replied calmly:

"Batman's identity is known in ARGUS. Even from my wife. From his very first appearance in Gotham City, our agents kept an eye on him. So yes, I knew it! For a very long time!"

Mia was stunned. How could his godfather not have informed him earlier?

"Why didn't you tell me? Am I your goddaughter?"

"Mia, I understand your anger, but I had good reasons not to tell you," replied Diggle gently. "First, this ARGUS information is classified. Very few people know this. Second, you're not an ARGUS agent, and despite our family ties, I'm not allowed to share information with you. And third, it wasn't for me to tell you. I knew about it long before I joined ARGUS. There was a time when Wayne and I were friends. We were partners in protecting the innocent. So I found out who he was and why he was fighting crime. After your father's death, Batman and I took different ways. I joined ARGUS while he continued to defend Gotham from the criminals and lunatics of Arkham. You understand, Mia, it wasn't me to tell you this secret. He had to tell you."

Green Arrow cut off communication, while reflecting on what she had just learned. Then she remembered the tracker she had put on Superman's cape. She could track him. She looked at her screen. She saw Superman's signal move in all directions, indicating that he had to fly in Metropolis. Then the beacon stopped moving. He seemed to have stopped flying. He must have had a home. A place to sleep. Superman didn't spend his nights flying. He wasn't a night owl like Batman. He had to have a place to live.

Superman had just returned to his apartment. He'd gone back to Clark and was getting ready for bed. When he had just put on his pajamas, his phone rang. He went to answer.

"Hello."

He recognized Lois' voice on the other end of the line. She certainly wanted to give him an update on her night with Bruce Wayne.

"Hi. I just wanted to let you know, I'll be in late tomorrow. I'm having breakfast with Bruce."

"Isn't that special?" said Clark, sarcastically, throwing his red cape on his bed.

"Do I detect a note of disapproval?" said Lois, amused.

"You were the one who compared him to garbage."

Clark then noticed something on his cape. First he saw a tiny object in the shape of a bat, then a second miniature object in the shape of a point of a green arrow. Both objects were emitting a signal.

While Lois continued to argue without suspecting anything.

"Well, I was wrong. He's very thoughtful and much deeper than the gossipmongers would lead you to believe."

He wish she knew.

"You'd be surprised." replied Clark, catching the two objects he had found on his cloak.

"Would I now? I'll let you go so you can count sheep or whatever you Kansas boys dream about. Bye." said Lois before hanging up.

Right in front of the building where Clark lived, the Green Arrow was watching where his tracker was emitting. It did not take her long to discover who lived there. This was Clark Kent's apartment. The Daily Planet reporter who worked with Lois Lane. Clark Kent, the reporter with the glasses that Mia met at Luthor airfield.

Superman was Clark Kent. A reporter who grew up on a farm in Smallville, a small town in Kansas. No one could suspect being the Man of Steel behind his glasses and his timid and awkward behavior. Excellent disguise. Even Mia was impressed. And working as a reporter was a perfect cover to be aware of everything that was going on in the world. That's how Superman operated. And as he worked with Lois, every time his colleague was in danger, he was never far away to rescue her. Was he under the spell of his colleague? Batman had a super-rival!

From where she was, she watched the apartment. She could see Clark by his window. And he seemed to be looking at her, as she was hundreds of yards away from him. He was looking at her with his super vision. Mia concludes that he found her tracker. She noticed that Clark looked in a different direction. She followed his gaze and saw Batman on one of the neighboring roofs of where she was. Apparently, he had the same idea as her. He also had to put a tracer on his cape when he had thrown it across the room in the disco.

Batman smiles at him with a thumbs up before disappearing. Then Clark looked back on Green Arrow.

She waved her hand in the air with amusement. He had learned from Batman her secret identity. And now Mia Queen knew who Superman was behind his blue tights and red cape.

"And now I know who you are, Boy Scout! Bye Clark! Sweet dreams!"

And she left the roof with a grappling arrow and flew into the skies.

Clark had observed Batman and the Green Arrow from his apartment, while they were several hundred meters from his home. Both had put different tracers on his cape and were able to follow him home. They knew his secret. No one had managed to unmask him. He was furious at himself for not being careful enough.

"Touché!" he said, destroying the two trackers with his super-force.

Thanks for reading.

I love the scene of Batman and Superman meeting. Already, it is revealed that Superman does not like vigilantes very much. But the rest changed his mind, since they both contributed to the rise of the Justice League.

Even Batman was interesting. He's not impressed at all, or shocked by Superman, and he's already exposing kryptonite to him. I also loved Superman who unmasks him, and just after Batman unmasks him in turn.

Great Time! SuperBat! I like this, and you?

See you soon for a next chapter!
