Prologue
5 years since first contact
A human on a bed in Huerta Memorial Hospital was giving. A human doctor was guiding the Asari nurse in delivering the baby. "You're doing a job mam just a few more."
The human screams ahead starting to appear. The doctor briefly turned to each other shocked at what was coming. The baby looked like a turian not a human. Hearing their patient scream, they turned back to the patient. "Few more pushes."
The patient screamed pushing the baby out. "It's a boy." The doctor announced showing the mother the baby.
The baby had the facial structure of a turian, but with the softness of human skin. He also had three long fingers. The mother went to grab her baby and the doctor handed him to her.
"Hi there." The mother cooed in awe at the baby.
The doctors and nurses just stared in shock at the baby as the mother bonded with him. Eventually a nurse finally gained her composure.
"Have you come up with a name for the baby?" The nurse asked.
"Arthur." The mother said adoringly.
"Mam." The doctor injected softly. "Your son's appearance…"
"Looks like a turian." The mother said.
"Yes, we think…"
"His father is a turian."
