Chapter 42: Carnival Date
Saturday Morning...
Word is that there's a carnival at the pier and anyone who studies at Advanced WNA High and comes here gets 30 percent discount for the admission entry. Rides, games and food and beverages are also discounted for students. Good thing they accept the school credits and as mentioned before, since summer vacation is on, a lot of places give discounts to those attending the ninja high school.
And now, some ride drove by and dropped Kappei and Emma in front of it.
"Are you excited for some carnival fun?" Kappei asked.
"Oh yes! I can't wait to try out the rides and games!" Emma replied.
"And the food." He added as she laughed and lightly elbowed him. Now for attire, Kappei wore a green T-shirt and grey shorts with his socks and shoes. Emma wore a purple tank top and pink skirt with her socks and shoes.
"C'mon! The fun doesn't wait around!" Kappei took her by the hand as they headed to the ticket booth. There, he paid for 2 tickets and once done, they slotted them in at the front entrance and the gate opened up allowing them in.
"Whoa..." They looked around the carnival for it's full of amusement rides, game stalls, food vendors, merchandise vendors and many more to explore. "This is gonna be a blast! Where shall we start?" Emma asked.
"Let's start with the amusement rides!" Kappei suggested as they walked around while holding hands. They can see many people having fun as children ate their favourite snacks, others are seen trying their luck at the game stalls and some are waiting in line to try out the rides.
Several minutes later, "Kappei, can we try out the Ferris Wheel?"
"Sure thing Emma!" They got in line and wow, it's a long one. "Okay...we're gonna have to wait. A true ninja must have the patience to make the right move at the right timing."
"Hee! Hee! Still sticking with the ninja teachings." Emma described as they moved a step forward. While waiting, "How is Gumchi doing?"
"He's hanging out with Mikelus." Kappei answered her and the scene cuts to them watching a baseball match in the baseball stadium as they cheered at the homeruns and the gameplay. They're also eating hotdog on buns and corndogs with sodas.
Back to them, they continued waiting until finally, "Yes! Our turn!" Kappei cheered as they're guided to a compartment of the Ferris Wheel. Once inside, the doors are locked to prevent anyone from opening them in the middle of the ride. The Ferris Wheel the rotated around as Kappei and Emma watched in awe of the grand view from their compartment. "I can see our high school! And the mall!" Emma pointed out.
"And I can see many skyscrapers and other buildings!" said Kappei and they're now on the top as the ride would stop for a minute to unload and load new passengers to hitch a ride. Up to 3 compartments for every stop. "Wow...the ocean is so majestic!" Emma exclaimed.
"Yeah...I could swim and feel the flow with my power." said Kappei. "And you can join me as well. We'll be swimming together freely."
"Aw I'd love that." Emma then cuddled to him as he thought of this. "Oh yeah...and one day we'll swim in the buff...and make love in the ocean..."
"By the way, how long we're gonna stay in the ride?" She asked.
"Until we're on the ground. I'd expect a few more loops around until then." He answered as they continued enjoying the view. Even the sky is clear and cooling.
A few minutes later on the ground, the attendant managing the ride halted it for 3 compartments as the doors opened and those inside left. However, "Ahem!"
The scene cuts to Kappei and Emma making out while seated until they realized they're on ground level. Oops, that was embarrassing as they hurried off. "Heh. They're kinda cute when they're together." The attendant thought and resumed his role.
After the Ferris Wheel, they lined up for the bumper cars. "Another long wait for us..." Kappei told her.
"It must be really popular. No wonder I can see some of the other students hanging around skylarking." said Emma.
"So true." Kappei then waited by gaming on his smartphone while Emma listened to her music. Some time later, they're next and they each got inside a bumper car. Duration is 3 minutes and the bumping begins!
"BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!"
Lots of bumping and laughing from everyone on the 10 bumper cars as they rammed each other and laughed with some spinning out of control. Kappei and Emma even rammed onto each other a few times as they laughed and had fun. After that, time's up and all left the area.
Now they say, save the best for the last. Because the last ride they want to do is, "The roller coaster!" They cheered and they're next in line as they sat at the front. "The best place to experience the thrill in riding a roller coaster!" Kappei cheered and once everyone's in and buckled up, it moves out and up. "Almost at the top..." said Emma and they never felt this excited like as if an adrenaline rush entered them and once it reaches the top, down it goes!
All screamed and cheered as the roller coaster went down, left, right, down, left, up, down, right, straight, through a loop which was crazy but thrilling, straight ahead while slowing down and up again and down with rapid speed, left, straight, up, down, up again, left, straight, another loop, right, left and down under a tunnel, up and out, left and finally, up and straight back to the starting line.
For Kappei and Emma, it was a thrilling blast and with that, "Can we go for another round?" Emma asked.
"Sure! After that, lunch time." Kappei told her and they went in the line and had another thrill ride!
Lunch time...
At a picnic bench, Emma and Kappei are sharing a pepperoni pizza with waffle fries and coleslaw. They also have lemonade as their drink. "I have a feeling we've gone through enough rides for today." Emma stated as she ate her pizza slice.
"Agreed. So we'll just hang around and play some games." said Kappei as he polished his coleslaw and ate 2 slices of pizza in one go.
"How many have you eaten so far?" She asked.
"4 slices of pizza." He answered as he took another one and started eating it. Emma also took one and decided to let her boyfriend finish the rest of the pizza as she took some waffle fries for herself.
So after lunch...
The couple walked around while checking out the game stalls. There are prizes to be won as they looked around. "Let's try this one." Emma pointed at a game stall where there are 10 cans stacked in pyramid form. The one running the stall saw them approach him. "Step right up and win a prize! Knock 'em all down with 3 balls and you win a prize. Knock them all down in one shot and you win a grand prize!"
"Cool! I'll go first!" Kappei took a ball and aimed it at the stack. He then threw it. "CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!"
"Not bad. You knocked 8 cans out of 10." The stall owner told him as he took aim again and shot the last 2 cans.
"My turn!" Emma took a ball and observed the other stack. She then smiled and threw her ball. "CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!"
"Damn! She sent 'em all tumbling down! Congrats!" He then showed the prizes. Kappei took a rubix cube and Emma took a Jenga game.
Next up, they went to a shooting range game stall to shoot some targets with dart guns. "Try to shoot at least 5 targets. Hit 5, win a prize. Hit all 10 targets, win a grand prize." The stall owner told them as she handed them the dart guns and they're loaded with 10 darts.
Nodding at each other, they took aim and fired the darts with precision. "Just like shooting a shuriken or a kunai during one of our ninja training sessions..." Kappei thought and the shooting begins!
A while later, game over and they both shot their targets without a miss! So with that, they're given the prizes. Kappei got a toy sword and Emma got a painting set. As they checked out their prizes, Kappei noticed a little boy gazing at his prize and thought of it. He approached him and gave his prize to him. Watching him run to his parents with the prize as they smiled at this, "That's what I love so much about you Kappei. A heart of selflessness really shows how you think of others." Emma told him as she gave him a grand prize. A kiss on the lips and even the stall owner was squealing quietly to herself upon seeing this.
Then, the Ring Toss. Emma can be seen tossing her rings through the pins without a problem. "Check this out!" Kappei got his 6 rings ready and threw them all together. "Amazing!" Emma exclaimed because all of them landed through the pins. Impressed, the stall owner gave them the prizes as they moved to the next one. But right after they stopped to buy cotton candy and share the sweet treat together.
Up next, they came across the Dunk Tank where they're given 3 balls each to hit a target board. On the center is a red button and if they hit it, the dunking takes effect. Inside the tank is a hot bikini girl seated below a pool of water and waiting as, "I got this." Emma went first and in one shot, "DING!"
"AHHH!" The platform split apart and the hot girl was dunked and drenched as many laughed and cheered. Some of the perverted males even took pictures of her, being wet and sexy as she got out and returned to her original position as the platform closed up. Kappei went next but missed his first 2 shots. "Seriously? Are you staring at her this whole time?" Emma asked pointing at the bikini girl as she aroused herself by checking her, uh...melons.
"Uh...no?" He replied as she got angry, took his last ball and shot it. "DING!"
Same thing as just now as, "You owe me an apology."
"I know Emma. I should be staring at my beautiful girlfriend instead of her. I'm sorry." Kappei apologized as he hung his head low.
"Apology accepted." She pulled him in for a kiss making him feel better as they left the area but right after collecting their prizes. Oh, the bikini girl lost her swimsuit from the second dunking and it became a wild, live show for the perverted males.
And finally, "This is worth testing." Kappei is seen standing before some game where they test one's strength by smashing a hammer onto some platform and some metal ball will shoot up and depending on the amount of power used, it'll stop at some meter and go down.
"One shot is all I need. I owe it to Bull for helping me train on my physical strength..." Kappei thought as he cracked his hands and took the medium0sized hammer. He waited for several seconds and once ready, he raised it up and, "BAM!"
They watched as the metal ball went up and, "DING!"
"Kid, you sure are a man strong enough to do this!" The man who runs this game then gave Kappei his grand prize. Small dumbbells which is quite handy for him to flex and work on his arm strengths. Emma smiled admirably at her handsome and strong boyfriend as they left the area to play a few more games
After that...
It's now 4pm and they left the carnival with their prizes won from the games. "Thanks for the fun Kappei. Those prizes we won can be sent to the orphanage for the kids."
"You're welcome Emma. And the fun will be more exciting for tomorrow."
"Cool! What will it be?" She asked.
"You'll see..." He replied as he smooched her forehead and she did the same back to him.
Only one date left and this one would be the hottest and most exciting date to look forward to for our lovely couple!
And soon, something exciting will come once the Shipping Week is concluded.

Name: Mikelus
Profile
A student of Class 1-A, Mikelus is an avid fan of baseball and has started playing this sport at a young age. Born in Greece, he used to be part of a baseball gang where they mug and wreck anyone that crosses them. One can say, they're the most powerful baseball gang in the country.
One day, the baseball gang got ambushed by other baseball rival gangs and they're heavily outnumbered. Most of them were beaten down and Mikelus is the only one left and standing. It was at that moment when power awakened in him and in a swift move, plasma bolts were unleashed and lots of gang members were blasted away.
Ninja authorities and the police arrived and arrested all the gang members. However, a ninja took Mikelus aside and explained to him about his awakening. Even the gang leader had sympathy and told him to embrace his new path. Dropping his colours, Mikelus embarked on the ninja journey.
Leaving his old gang that officially disbanded, he joined the WNA Academy in his home country and was enrolled to the high school in USK. Currently, he's a member of the Baseball Club for his love and passion for the sport hasn't left him. His favourtie food is corndog.
Awakened Power: Plasma Bolt
Mikelus's awakened power enables him to channel neon green plasma energy and fire all of it through bolts. This power is incredibly powerful enough to vaporize and blast anything into pieces. He can also channel the energy in barrage mode to rain down bolts of plasma onto hordes of enemies and they can pierce through anything solid.
This power makes him one of the powerhouses in Class 1-A enough to provide heavy fire support.
