Masi followed Elijah across the street from a cafe, eyeing the glass of the cafe and realised that it was double paned and tempered when she saw Rosemarie sitting in the sunlight, without a Daylight Ring, before her gaze slid over to Rosemarie's newest companion.

Damon Salvatore.

Elijah had gathered information fast on the latest Doppelganger; Elena Gilbert, and those who surrounded themselves around the Doppelganger, which Masi couldn't help but find ironic in every aspect. It was as if the Doppelgangers of her Sister's Bloodline would always be linked to the Witches of the Bennett Bloodline.

Just as the Doppelganger would always draw two Brothers into fighting over her.

It sickened Masi, but she knew better than to bother to try and interfere."You let Rosemarie go free and this is how she repays us."Masi glanced up at Elijah, who's eyes were narrowed as he listened to the conversation in the cafe while he shuffled coins in his hands."She dies."Masi declared, crossing her arms.

"Indeed."Elijah muttered with a slight smirk as he glanced down at Masi.

With expect precision, he threw the coins at the cafe, and the sound of breaking glass, as well as the pained and agonizing screams of the Vampires within the cafe, echoed through their ears like an explosion, causing Masi to grin in satisfaction.

Although her satisfaction didn't last long when Damon grabbed Rose, before she could be exposed to the sun for too long, and quickly, he left. Masi went to take a step forward, only for her wrist to be grabbed.

Masi looked back at Elijah."She-Her time will come."Elijah swiftly cut Masi off from protesting.

"But we have other matters that require our attention."He added as he began walking back to the car, dragging a disgruntled Masi along behind him like she was a child.

Masi was smirking as she watched the young Vampire; Slater, call Rosemarie via Compulsion, from her spot on the couch. It had been too easy to get the young Vampire's attention. All Masi had to do was act as if she was interested in him, show off her Daylight Ring to let him know that she was older then she looked, and bam, he let her into his apartment. As soon as Masi was inside, she had grabbed Slater by the throat and slammed him into the nearest wall before he could shut the door when she entered, and Elijah soon appeared behind her, telling her to let Slater go and he'd handle the rest while she took a seat.

Men. Masi thought in disgust as she rolled her eyes. Human, Vampire... Even Wolves... They're all the same, thinking with what's between their legs and not their brains. She, along with Elijah, who had come to stand beside the couch Masi was sitting on, watched as Slater walked, or rather, paced as he spoke to Rosemarie, telling her about what he had found-been Compelled to say-about breaking the Curse.

"Very nicely done."Elijah commented as soon as Slater hanged up on Rosemarie.

"Thanks, I have a Degree in Theater."Slater said, trying not to obviously let it show that he had forgotten about her and Elijah as he turned to face them."How can you Compel me?"He questioned them and Masi felt her smirk grow as she crossed one leg over the other."A Vampire can't Compel another Vampire."

"Your facts must be wrong then."Masi commented idly as she looked up at Slater while leaning back on said couch.

"We're Special Vampires."Elijah added with a shrug as his lips curled upwards slightly in amusement.

"What-Because you're Originals?"Slater's voice was laced with pure fear as he looked between Masi and Elijah, but it was obvious that he couldn't help but be curious.

"Hmm."

"God, do you ever stop with the questions? Surely you must realise that you're actually in no position to ask us anything."Masi snapped, growing bored as her smirk slowly faded into a frown.

"Y-You must be Lomasi then."Slater suddenly said, his fear turning to terror as he looked down at Masi."Wife of Elijah, right?"

"What!?"Masi snarled, jumping to her feet as Elijah, who stopped her from attacking Slater by placing a hand on Masi's shoulder and squeezed it in warning, raised an eyebrow."What utter nonsense."Masi rolled her eyes."I am not married to him."

"Bu-But you two are never seen without each other?"Slater stated questionably in confusion.

"That's because Elijah's a lonely old man who falls prey to his parental desire, which is to be an Immortal Caretaker to an equally Immortal Teenager, AKA me."Masi said dryly."It's the closest thing he'll ever get to being a Parent."

"Enough."Elijah snapped, pulling Masi back behind him, and after giving her a dark look which she returned with a grin, he made direct eye contact with Slater."Now, I want you to take this"Elijah held up a stake for Slater to take."and drive it through your heart."

Slater, with a shaky breath, slowly took the stake from Elijah."B-But that will kill me forever."

"That's kinda the point."Masi snarked in a duh voice as she crossed her arms.

"I know."Elijah said, maintaining eye contact with Slater, his pupils dilating as he Compelled Slater again."But it's necessary."Elijah added and the duo watched in silence as Slater shoved the stake directly into his heart, and he fell to the floor with a groan before he desiccated right before their eyes.

"Was it, really?"The voice of Jonas Martin, the Witch that was in their services, spoke up from behind them and the duo turned to look at Jonas.

"It had to be done."Elijah, with his natural poker face in place, said."He delivered his message."Jonas risked glancing at the now dead Vampire at their feet."Won't be long now."

"Besides, if Elijah didn't make him kill himself, I would have tortured him simply for fun."Masi spoke up with a grin before her eyes narrowed as she looked at Jonas, who stared back at her grimly."Why do you care anyway? Vampires, in the eyes of you Witches and Warlocks, are nothing Abominations, no?"When Jonas didn't protest or make some sort of retort, Masi hummed in satisfaction before walking out the door of Slater's apartment.

Masi, wearing one of Elijah's dress shirts and loose, black, pajama shorts, was lying on her temporary bed, of the Hotel Room Elijah had gotten them when they had, without gaining unwanted attention, arrived in Mystic Falls and went straight for the nearest Hotel, which was Ms. Flowers Bed & Breakfast Hotel. Masi had been reading through her old Grimoire, when all of a sudden, it was snatched out of her hands and she found herself pinned to the mattress, her hands being held above her head by the wrist in her attacker's hand. Snarling, Masi showed her attacker her Vampire Visage, baring her fangs for a moment as she glared up at her attacker, only to pause when she found herself staring into the calm, yet dark gaze of Elijah.

"What?"Masi questioned Elijah, cocking an eyebrow at him as her facial features returned to normal.

"How many times have I told you to stop wearing my clothes?"

"Seriously? It's just a shirt."

"People would get the wrong idea."

"Aw, are you worried that people will think you're taking advantage of a teen-Ah!"Masi shrieked as she was moved from the bed and slammed up against the nearest wall with her back to Elijah, with her wrists still being held above her head in one of Elijah's hands and his other hand slid to her waist, keeping her pinned in place as his chest was pressed against her back."Elijah..."Masi trailed off, growling lowly in her throat, trying to sound threatening."Let me go."

"No."Elijah's grip tightened."I need your word, Lomasi."He added, his grip tightening and Masi gritted her teeth.

"My word?"Masi echoed, blinking owlishly."Whatever for?"

"That you won't betray me."Elijah said lowly against the shell of Masi's ear."That you won't go running to Niklaus and telling him about the Doppelganger."

"I don't even know where he is."Masi gritted out, managing to turn her head slightly to glare up at Elijah."And I have not left your side for nearly eight decades, Elijah. Why would I leave now?"

An eerie silence had settled between them for almost a full minute before Elijah answered her;"Because you could regain what you lost a thousand years ago."Elijah murmured softly into Masi's ear and she bit back a shudder as her eyes widened.

"I don't care about that anymore. I've given up hope about regaining my Magic."Masi stated coldly, although a darker part of her whispered otherwise.

"Lomasi..."Elijah whispered softly.

"I don't care about the Doppelganger being the key to breaking the Curse, Elijah."Masi somehow managed to twist around in Elijah's grip to face him and she kept her gaze steady as her hazel green eyes met his dark hazel brown eyes."I want my revenge on Klaus too... They may have been your Siblings, but they were my Family too."Masi reminded Elijah in a soft, yet tired voice as tears formed in her eyes. Elijah slowly let go of Masi after staring deeply into her eyes, looking for even the slightest hint of a lie, only to find none and he sighed softly to himself before he straightened out his suit jacket and fidgeted with his cufflinks.

"Apologies, sweetheart."Elijah said lowly as he looked back at Masi, who blinked away her tears furiously.

Masi huffed as she crossed her arms, noticing that he had made no move to leave."What now?"

Elijah stared at her silently for a moment before smirking darkly."I despise the disrespect... Daughter."

Masi froze."Oh no."She shook her head as Elijah continued to smirk at her."Elijah, no!"She whined."You can't possibly want us to infiltrate this backwards, stereotype of a Town by posing as a Father-Daughter Duo!"She exclaimed as she shoved past him and went over to the bed, sitting down."I hate pretending to be your Daughter!"

"That's too bad. You look the part, so you will play the part."Elijah said dismissively."Oh, and I am temporarily transferring you to the Local School here."He added as he walked to the door and quickly sped out before Masi could throw something at him.

"Wanker!"Masi screamed as she sped to the door of her room and slammed it shut, muttering curse words under her breath as she stormed back to the bed."I am not going to protect that damn Doppelganger!"

"You won't be. You'll be looking after Luka while he tries to make nice with the group of people the Doppelganger surrounds herself with."Elijah stated in a low voice, knowing fully well that Masi heard him, from where he was standing in the living room of their hotel room.
