April Showers Bring May Flowers-Ch 14
Penelope looked at her friends and said, "okay so what was so important, what did you all need to talk to me, us about?" as she motioned between herself and Derek, Dave said, "kitten we think that Kevin is behind all of this trouble with you and Derek", she looked at him and said, "Kevin but how?", Dave said, "just sit back and listen to what we have to say okay?", she nodded her head yes.
Reid said, "Derek said that he went to your apartment last night and Kevin was there and there was a smell of delicious food and the sound of soft romantic music coming from your apartment, isn't that right Derek?", he said, "yes, that's right".
Hotch said, "JJ and Emily found out that Kevin made a copy of your door key and we think that he used that key to make Derek think that you two were or are having an affair", Penelope said, "s s so everything that happened, everything that Derek said to me was because of Kevin?", Dave said, "we think so".
She stood up and said, "I'LL KILL HIM" and started walking across the room, Derek pulled her into his arms and said, "let's just listen to what they have to say first, okay sweetness?", she relaxed in his arms and said, "okay".
Derek then leaned down and kissed her lips gently and said, "I am so so sorry about everything I said, please forgive me", she said, "of course my vision, of course I'll forgive you but only if you can forgive me", he said, "you didn't do anything to be forgiven for but if you need to hear the words then yes, yes I'll forgive you".
Penelope said, "so wh why did you leave with Tamara that day?", he laughed and said, "she was having car trouble and her fiancee was out of town and couldn't pick her up so I drove her home and dropped her off and that's all that happened".
She said, "I feel like such a fool", Derek said, "me too, especially when I overheard the phone call with who I thought was you and Kevin", she said, "phone call, what phone call?", Derek said, "I overheard Kevin talking to who I thought was you because he'd acted like you invited him to dinner at your place and hearing that, well it broke my heart".
Fran said, "so now it's time to make Kevin pay", Penelope said, "alright, how are we gonna do that?", Hotch leaned in and said, "okay, so this is what we were thinking" and Derek and Penelope along with the others leaned in and listened as Hotch, Dave and Reid started filling them in on their plan to finally stop Kevin.
