Phantom sighed, "Welp another group to react to something I enjoy. I might have a problem but boy I enjoy making people watch my chaos. And since this is from a collection of Super Sentai and My Hero Academia stories, I don't have to stay consistent unless needed." he said to himself before looking into his file, "Who to kidnap- I mean select for viewing. I gotta keep it small and not over-stimulate with an abundance of students and staff…. Ah screw it, if I say both hero courses with some other students then I shall call forth!"
Here in the Phantasm Theater with huge thanks from my good friend Raizer, theater seats are clean and comfy, snacks on standby, and projector ready to spit out all forms of media. Now the biggest obstacle is to what to show for the first viewing, "We could go for the current sentai, Boonboomger. Or something popular like Gokaiger. Or go to the basics of Gorenger… No, if we are going to show some form of history. Then we are going to Pre-Sentai and start with the very formula!"

Within an instant flash of light, Class 1-A and 1-B landed on the seats of the theater, joining them is a retired All Might, Aizawa,Nezu, Shinso, Mei, along with Inko Midoriya. Among the guests are the Big Three and Eri because Sentai is for good little boys and girls. Well safe to say that they are confused about this and wonder what in the flavored hell happened for them to end up in the theater. Well has any reaction fanfiction ever had the character react calmly before? Well the confusion comes to an end in the form of a man in a red trench coat as he boldly announces his presence, "I am God! Ask any question and I will answer it!"
The lower rank in intelligence, Denki Kaminari asked, "Tell how much you love me,"
Phantom still kept his face :3 and said, "A whole lot."
"That wasn't even a question!" his classmate, Hanta Sero yelled,
"Anyway, welcome to Phantasm Theater, home of the Good Burger. A place where I can cry while watching YouTube videos and King of the Hill at 3 am-" Then he was cut off,
"Who the hell are you, extra!" the loud one, Katsuki Bakugo demanded answers from the host while trying to get out of his seat but couldn't,same with everyone else,
"Can't have you guys try to fight me and damaging my theater," Phantom said with glee then is met with the glare of the homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa,
"What the hell are you?" he asks,
"I am Phantom, the guy in charge of my own universes and basically a god that looks over your lives," he said,
"Ahh I recall something about you deities, basically creators of universes on the whim," the chimera principal said, "I never thought you would actually exist,"
"Well because I rather remain in the shadows until I am needed,"
"So why did you bring us here?" Izuku Midoriya questioned the god,
"Well it is very simple," he responded, "Pure boredom and my viewers are being impatient with how I do things," The UA staff and students finds his reasonings at a mixture of disbelief and confusion, "Anyway, I brought you all here to just to watch a series about five colors of wonder and the true essence of heroism," The inner fanboy in Izuku shines through as a notebook and pen appear in his hands. His friends find it amusing how instantly he goes into his fanboy mode, though some are skeptical about watching a series when they should be training or studying, "Oh before that. How about a little light."
By the clap of his hands, the room has brightened a bit to reveal the shelves filled with toys, manga, and DVDs. The toys especially caught the eye of the guests, most of them are filled with vintage toy vehicles and robots, next to them are teams of heroes in brightly colored outfits. Next are interesting gimmicks such as a wall of cards, a treasure chest of miniature figures, lots of gear looking pieces, and lots of keys. Eri, being a child, enjoys seeing all of this. So Phantom made some vinyl toys appear in her hand. One of AkaRanger and MomoRanger for her to play with.
Phantom then speaks up, "Before we begin, I want to show you a series that predates the series by a decade ago. Because without them, then it wouldn't exist. A series about finding hope within evil."
All Might finds it interesting in what he said, reminding him of his quirk and its origin.
"Hey, wake up!" The scene opens to a young man waking up on an operating table, "You must wake up!" When fully awake, the young man looks around the area and sees that it is in some kind of lab. He gets up from the table but triggers the alarm that alerts the scientist that was examining him. Stating that he shouldn't have woken up in the first place.
"What is going on?" Ochako looked worried for the protagonist,
"What did that guy mean by 'he's not supposed to wake up'?"
'Deja-vu,' Phantom shake his head, "You'll find out soon enough,"
When the scientist asked for some guidance, a hologram of a caped figure with a black skull-like helmet appeared, "Calm yourself! The subject must not escape, activate the tranquilizing gas!"
The sight of this man brought fear into the hearts of UA. The very look of this man in black is telling them to beware of his presence, "Who is that man?" Mirio asked while holding Eri close as she became afraid,
"He called many names, but he known as Skull" Phantom said,
Bakugo just scoffed, "Like I should be afraid of some extra. I can take him!"
Phantom rolled his eyes, 'If that theory is true then you just end up dead with a bullet to the head.'
All Might just looks at the image of the villain, reminding him of his enemy. But something about Skull just screams more than just evil.
The young man wonders where he is and why he is in a uniform. The voice in his head told him that there isn't much time and he needs to jump as the gas has started to disperse. One good jump let the boy jump out of the observation room which scares the scientist into leaving the room.
There's something more to this boy but the students couldn't figure out why. All this is just putting them on edge, begging for answers for the mystery of the young man.
The young man wondered about his newfound ability as he was never athletic before. Then a group of robots have arrived, "Do not move," one of them said while aiming its hand at the boy,
"Police robots!?" he tried to run but he was shot down by the machines, "Ahh!"
"Oh no!" Mina said after seeing some getting gunned down,
"Well that was a quick story," Denji said before getting jabbed by Jiro for insensitivity of the matter, "Gah!"
"Idiot!"
He was getting up after being shot. He looked at himself and at the wall that had bullet size dents, he swore that he was shot but he seemed to be fine. Then he was grabbed and pinned to the wall by one of the robots, "Let. Me. Go!" He destroyed the arm of the robot.
"Wow, very strong" Yui Kodai said,
"Must be his quirk," her classmate, Setsuna said while Phantom held in his laughter.
The robot retaliates but the boy grabs hold of its arm and flips it over with his newfound strength. Confused but he started to fight as he punched the abdomen of the machine which exploded into pieces that in return destroyed the other two by the flying pieces. The last one tried to grab the boy but he quickly punched its hand, resulting in its destruction. After the fight, he instantly became afraid of his strength.
Izuku could relate to that, having trouble with his own strength and almost got expelled over it. He is happy he is slowly getting in more control over his quirk. So he started to notice the lack of damage on the young man and curious why that was the case as he began muttering in his mind. His mother noticed it and just held in her laughter, seeing her son being the curious child she once saw.
The voice told him not to be afraid and it will all be clear soon. But that freaked the boy out more as why is he even hearing this voice.
"Has anyone ever been trolled by a psychic quirk?" Sero asked his classmates,
"I think I remember something along the lines, 'Hi' and 'Goodbye" Momo said, "But otherwise, not much,"
"Young Sero, I believe I once faced a villain with such a quirk but they couldn't stop me!" All Might laugh while puking blood,
"That because you had a empty head," Aizawa said, which made the student let out a chuckle,
"I am 001, I am talking to you through mental telepathy,"
"001? Telepathy? Is this some kind of joke?" he asked himself then he heard more robots coming. 001 instructed him to make his escape quick. He ran out of the room and ran into a group of the same machine he encountered. With the help of 001, he quickly escapes through the vent. After the misfortune of sliding down and being blown out by fire, the young man escaped.
"Man it's just not that guy's day," one of the students said,
"Waking up in an unknown place, being chased down, then being blown out of the building like it was nothing. This guy must have some kind of strength enhancement quirk." Phantom kept suppressing his laughter, only Nezu and Aizawa noticed.
"Capture him before he joins the rebellion,"
Soon the young man is back into fighting against tanks as he continues to punch and redirect hits, destroying them. What surprises the audience that they are willing to shoot their own men in hopes of capturing the boy.
While shocked to see that they are willing to kill their own men, the heroes in training wonder about the 'rebellion'.
Fleeing from the battle, the young man has reached the end of a cliff, memories flashed before his eyes as he remembered that fateful day. When he was in the same situation, then police came with their flashlights pointed at him, "Freeze! You're surrounded! Shimamura!"
"Wait! I didn't kill the priest!" But his cry went in their ears, and with no other choice, Shimamura jumped off the cliff.
"WHAT?" Shiozaki shouted which jumped some of the audience members, she quietly sat in embarrassment.
Surviving the fall and rising from the waters, Shimamura was attacked by a shark. Believing that he is drowning, he realizes that he can breathe through water when he opens his mouth. He takes the opportunity to punch the shark in the eye but it turns out to be a robot. The robotic shark was destroyed by a figure swimming far away from the boy. The only recognizable trait is his outfit. The scene cuts to him climbing up the cliff, instructed by 001, only to be attacked by fighter planes.
"Okay what is with this guy's luck!?" Mina complained, "Everywhere he goes, they keep finding him.
It is revealed that 001 has purposely sent him into danger to see more of abilities. This naturally pisses Shimamura off.
"Sounds like something that Aizawa would do," Denki said,
The teacher perked up and said, "What was that?"
Feeling the glare on his back, "N-Nothing!"
"You think it's some kind of a game!? Come here!" He then sees the planes shooting down on him, so he quickly dodges them, "When I see you, I'm going to punch your lights out!"
"I don't think you would want to do that. By the way, they are coming back." The planes return with bullets shooting towards him, "Press the switch in your back tooth, quick!"
Doing as he told, his back tooth made a clicking sound and everything turned blue and slow.
"Huh?" the young students looked at the scene with curiosity, "What was that?"
The green haired successor mumbled, "Could he have some sort of speed quirk or something similar to mine,"
001 explained that this is an accelerator, a mode that slows everything but Shimamura. This scares him, only for the mode to wear out and him being taken by the plane. He climbs up and tries to talk to the pilot, only to see that he is on autopilot and purposely crashing into another plane causing him to fall.
"I don't think he could fly," Setsuna commented while getting glared for not reading the room, "Nevermind,"
Only to be saved by another young man with a long nose, "Welcome to Flight 002," Shimamura is surprised someone else with the same uniform, "Don't move around so much, relax or you fall,"
"Are you 001?"
"001? No I'm 002,"
"Is that your name?"
"It's fine for the moment, let's land." Both of them fly down to a destination point, an island.
"002?" Itsuka said, "Is that his hero's name?"
"He said it's for the moment, so he must be something else," Momo added,
The scene cuts to a blonde woman holding a blue haired child, stating that they are going to land. Then it cuts to tied up soldiers as the scene rises up to show more individuals. A giant Native American man, a short Chinese man, an African man, a German man with a metal hand, and an Englishman.
When they land, Shimamura is surprised to see this many people, "Whoa, who are you people?"
The Englishman smirked and answered, "You could say that we're your brothers,"
"It kind of stretching the point, but that basically it," The German man added,
"My brothers?"
"Well seven brothers and one sisters-"
"Quite a diverse cast of people," Nezu mused,
"Looks like they could be part of Class 1-B," All Might said,
"Hey, Vald called dibs on every exchange student. Not my fault," Aizawa argued,
"-We all have powers just like you," Upon looking at the others, amazed at what he see then he looked at the baby and realized who he is,
"Are you?"
"Yes, I'm 001," then in a joking manner, "Still wanna punch my lights out?"
The girl awed at the baby, but soon realized like the rest of the viewers, this child has powers like the rest of the young adults.
The woman smiled and giggled as if it weren't the first time this happened. They hear something from the distance, "Are they back again, 003?" 002 asked,
She looks into the distance and sees an army coming, hundreds of robot soldiers coming from the mountains. Then the German man kneels down and opens his kneecap, revealing a missile, "Give me the coordinates, 003. I'll cripple them with a preemptive strike."
"This man has a rocket launcher in his knee cap, meaning he has some kind of swiss army knife type of quirk. Considering his right hand is metal, could it be a form of a mutation type…" Izuku continue to mutter and write down his notes,
His mother light tap his back, "Izuku honey, you're getting lost in your work again,"
Her son stopped and blushed, "Sorry mom,"
With 003 giving him the coordinates, the man launches two at them, destroying them. But 003 sees more soldiers in tanks coming this way, this time there are human soldiers in them. Leaving the team of nine to get ready to strike back. Back with the soldiers, they are ordered from the black skull man to destroy them since the soldiers are below capturing them alive. When they launch their attack on them, the team uses their blasters to destroy the missiles midair and with 001 using his abilities to create a forcefield to protect them.
"So the baby is a some kind of psychic,"Momo said, "So young to have a strong psychic quirk,"
The fight continues on with 002 flying across, shooting lasers in crippling the tanks while the metal hand man uses his knee rockets to blast mountain sides to block their advancement. The Indigenous giant lifted one of the tanks with great strength, causing the soldiers to abandon them. Shimamura found that amazing.
"So manly!" Both Kirishima and Tetsutetsu said while crying manly tears,
"That's 005," 001 explained, "His body is like tempered steel with the strength of thousand men," then the short man begin his strike as he dug into the ground while breathing fire, "006, nicknamed Mole, has a 3000 degree fire coming from his fire and melt any material known to man!"
006 cracked the ground with flames rising from below. The soldiers made their escape as the fiery ground swallowed their attack vehicles, "Now that's what I call 'Tank Flambe'" he boasted while letting out a breath of fire, "Anyone want seconds?" then he slips.
"Fire so hot to melt anything" Shoto said, "Could he be a secret relative?"
"He seemed to be a cook based on their puns," Nezu deduced, "I wonder how he will get along with Lunch Rush?"
The soldiers looked on, only to be bonked on the head by the Englishman coming out of the mountain, now standing in his underwear, "007 can transform into anything with a press of his bellybutton." 001 explained with that said as 007 turned into a kangaroo hopping up on one of the tanks and mischievously tossing a bomb into one. The soldiers flee from it before it explodes.
"Wow! He would make a great hero with a quirk like that!"
More of the robot soldiers and tanks get destroyed by the African man and his trusty blaster, doing acrobatics as is he is in the water, "008 is a combat professional but mostly at home underwater where he can breath and swim like a fish,"
Shimamura looked at the baby, "Breathes underwater?" then he remembers that 008 was the same man who saved him from the shark earlier.
"So the brother comment is more true than we realize," Kirishima is proud to see that,
"I know, but ummm there is something off about… you know…"
"Right, right,"
The fleeing men are being rounded up by 002 flying across with rope, "002 can fly at Mach 5 using the jets in his feet." He then dropped them off where the other captured men were.
Izuku continued into mumble mode, "How can he do that without damaging the soles of his feet or burning the boots he wears…"
"I see what Midoriya is saying. Some of them are impossible due to their bodies' limits," Aizawa now curious about these people,
001 explained to the newcomer that they are trying to restrain their powers because they are not ruthless, knowing full well that they could kill them if they wanted to. But they won't due to their humanity.
003 looked at him, "We want you to trust us, we are your friends." She then gives him a kind smile.
"My shipping senses are tingling," Mina straighten up as she sees something between the boy and 003,
"Mina…" Jirou really don't want to hear her nonsense,
But then the sole sister of the team sees something, "Everyone! Watch out!" out of the destroyed bodies of the robots are flying disks that instantly grabbed onto the others off guard. One of them managed to pull one off of him but then it revealed that it has a poisonous stinger that could immobilize them.
The little horned girl felt a twinge of fear as she remembered the times that Overhaul tried his damndest to keep her in his grasp. But with a little reassurance from Mirio, she felt calm and relaxed.
(AN: Yeah, don't expect any Izuku and Eri having father/daughter moments. As far as I'll go is brother/sister.)
When several flies towards 001 and 003, Shimamura quickly activates Acceleration Mode and makes quick work on the disks, destroying every last of them. The others are amazed by his abilities,
"Fantastic," 007 said,
"He's a lot further along than we anticipated." 004 commented.
003 warned them that they are releasing more of them. As more rise but instead they combine into one big worm-like machine. The team quickly spread out as it began to attack but that was useless when it used its tendrils to grab all but Shimamura, 001, and 003.
004 quickly hands him his blasters, "Shoot it with this!"
The boy quickly sets it to blaster mode and shoots it but it disassembles itself and moves to another area. Shimamura quickly dodges the next attack, 001 instructed him to shoot it in the fourth saucer before it unites as 003 sees its heart. He quickly shoots it again, making it disassemble and before it fully unites, "Acceleration Mode now!" The click of his tooth slows down time as the newcomer quickly shoots his shot at the heart, destroying it and freeing the others.
"He is strong for someone who found out about his powers," the principal said,
"It's like second nature to him," Aizawa added,
"Reminds me of Young Midoriya," All Might smiled as he looked at his successor who was still taking notes about Shimamura and his feats.
"Astounding," 003 is amazed by his abilities,
"All the technology from years of experimentation has been applied to his design. He's much more powerful than any of us." the baby explained.
"Experimentation!" Everyone yelled.
"All will be explained very soon,"
The team are now exploring in the caves, looking for a way to escape. They reached a hatch above, 005 was about to go but was stopped by 007, "Brute strength might trigger the alarms, so let me check ahead." With that, the man turned into a mouse and scurry ahead. Then the hatch opens up.
"Maybe that something we need to focus on for Heroics," the 1-A homeroom teacher said to his boss, "In a situation like this, it is important to scout ahead than barging into danger,"
The team quickly made their escape too easily which made the audience find it very suspicious. Soon they found their escape, an aircraft in the hangar.
"Yay!" Mina cheered, "They can finally escaped,"
"Never let your guard down, Ashido," her teacher said to her, "You may never know when something unexpected will happen."
"Meep," is all she said,
Suddenly the doors close shut, trapping the team.
"Oh…" the pink skinned groans then thought of something, "Wait maybe 007 can save them,"
"You're right. He isn't with them right now." her buddy in arms noticed.
005 first tried to punch the door open but no dent. 008 shot a laser at it but it bounced back then 006 blew fire at it but nothing, "Huh. It didn't work," the mole said,
"Of course, it didn't work," a voice spoke, then the lights are turned on and revealed a group of scientists standing above them on a glass floor, "The limit of your abilities are programed into the system,"
"Wait, program? Abilities?" Izuku stopped writing down, "Phantom, what did he mean? Are their quirks artificially made?" his classmates asked the same question,
"About that…"
A scientist with a large nose spoke, "Stop this rebellion and return to the lab at once. We need to examine each and every one you much more thoroughly,"
"No way! We're not your guinea pigs!"
Shimamura recognized the large nose scientist, he was there when he was lying on the operating table.
"Stop this foolishness. You have no free will. We didn't give you those powers to act on your own, you're under our control,"
004 angrily said, "Oh really?! You expected us to thank you for these 'gifts'!?"
"I suppose you think it's a privilege to have our bodies tampered with like this," 003 added, "We were kidnapped off the streets so you can remodel us!"
"This whole world you're watching. These people and things they do." Phantom said while being serious for the moment for the guests, "They are completely quirkless,"
"Wait if they're quirkless, then how are they able to do these amazing things?" one the students asked, but there was no answer
Shimamura muttered the word, 'remodel', then realized something, "They did this to me too?"
"Yes…" 001 answered, "Every one of us has been altered by Black Ghost…" Then past show Shimamura being operating as he being sedated before the procedure begins,
"These nine people are cyborgs, modified humans against their will,"
The realization was heavy on them, these are the main heroes and now come to find out that their beginning ain't so happy. A tragedy to see them, especially a freaking baby to be modified against their will.
"Black Ghost? Who's that?" Then the scientists gloats how ungrateful the cyborgs are as they given great gifts but then he is held at gunpoint by one of the other scientist,
"What? You're with the cyborgs?"
It is revealed to be 007, "Strictly speaking, I am not just with the cyborgs, I am one of the cyborgs!"
"Nice save, bro" Denki gave a thumbs up of approval,
The large nose tried to attack him from behind but 007 pressed the blaster against his nose, "Sorry to spoil your fun, professor. But if you don't want an extra nostril, I'd release my friends." Soon the team exited out of the hangar with the professor as their hostage. He warned the soldiers that the cyborgs have set the self-destruct sequence and threaten to blow up the place. Only he knows the secret code to stop it. This in return stopped the soldiers from making their advancement on them.
"But wouldn't they shoot anyway?"
"Maybe they don't want to risk their lives either,"
"But didn't 001 say that they aren't killers?"
"Must be a ruse to think that they are willing to blow them up,"
Soon the cyborgs and the professor made it to the aircraft carrier safely. But Shimamura is hesitant to join them as they begin to send off, "This is as far as I can guide you," 001 said to him, "You have to decide what to do from this point on. I can tell you this, right now we are inmates of a chain gang created by Black Ghost but if we work together as a unit, we can turn that chain of captivity into a life line."
"So wise for a baby," Momo said,
"Must be the enhancements." her friend replied. Phantom looked away for a moment as he knew about this version of the cyborg soldiers. Wait a second, didn't he already do that?
For a moment, he thought about his decision and decided to take his first step towards his team. As the plane flies off, the cyborgs have escaped. Shimamura tried to return the blast to 004, "Thanks for the offer, kid. Keep it." He made a gesture towards his right hand showing that he didn't need it. The young man looks over to 003 as she is happy that he joined and 001 offered his infant hand to him.

"Oh my god, this music is so good!" Jirou smiled, her enhanced hearing can hear the subtle singing among the sound effects,
He took his offer and 001 holds his index finger, "I'm glad you decided to join us.. 009"
"009?"
The scene shows 003 now standing with the others, all with a welcoming smile toward their newest brother, "That's right, you're the ninth 00 numbered cyborg,"
1… 2… 3…
"If that's the designation then I must be…"
4… 5… 6…
"For now on, that's how you'll be known,"
7… 8…
"My name is…"
009!
-CYBORG 009: THE CYBORG SOLDIER-
The episode ends with the opening continuing playing as the audience are greeted with art of each of the 00 cyborgs but confused when they see an unknown member among them.
"Well that was that," Phantom said, "So what do you guys think?"
"It was an experience," Momo is still trying to comprehend what she just watched,
"Kind of sad that they are forced to become cyborgs," Ochako said,
"But these guys look kind of hot," Setsuna commented,
"Really?" Kendo facepalmed,
"Whatever," Bakugo look uninterested,
"I am excited about what kind of world you are planning to show us, Phantom-san!" the greet teen made the host chuckled,
"As I mentioned, this is what lead to a series with almost fifty year franchise that spawn many movies and merchandising," Phantom grinned as he gesture to his toy collection,
"What series is that?"
Soon they hear the sound of 70's music playing and the colorful words appeared on screen:

AN: So like I promise to add for this fic. Why Cyborg 009? Well other than it has hardly ever got recognition it deserves. It is also a reminder that without this series, Sentai wouldn't exist. I am not going to go chronologically with the Sentai series, maybe after Gorenger will be Gokaiger or even Boonboomger. Again sorry for the late update.
