Riveria hadn't felt like this in nearly a decade. A new level of power she still wasn't used to. It wasn't just her either, Finn and Gareth were also trying to adapt to their new power as all of them had finally attained Level 7 after nearly nine years of being Level 6.

Riveria, like Finn and Gareth, had only had yesterday to try and get used to her new power, and hadn't had a chance to even cast the new spell she'd gotten yet. Not that she could just cast it anywhere, even the training yard of the Twilight Manor was nearly enough room to test out what she believed it could do, it was simply too powerful.

However, they planned another expedition in a month so she'd just have to wait until then to test it on some unsuspecting monster horde in the dungeon. Right now, her, Finn, and Gareth were headed toward the Guild to report their level ups.

Riveria should have known her day would take a turn at some point since it had been going so well the past few weeks. And of course, it would be because of one person in particular, a man who happened to be walking toward her right now like he was special somehow.

Riveria doubted there would ever be a time she felt an emotion for Hedin other than loathing.

"Lady Riveria, our time has finally come, wife."

Riveria did nothing to hide the disgust on her face at the Elven 'Lord's' words.

"I don't know how many times I have to turn down your pathetic attempts, Hedin, but it is never going to happen!"

She watched him get enraged like he always did, but she wasn't going to back down an inch. He may have gained Level 7 last week, but so did she. Not to mention, Finn and Gareth were both with her and Level 7 now as well. Hedin only had the Level 6 Gulliver Brothers with him.

"You have no choice in the matter, Princess! Your father has decreed it, and you shall do your duty!"

"Sad ya need her daddy to force her in ta a marriage since ye can' manage ta seduce the' old hag yerself! har har!"

"Shut your mouth, you filthy dwarf!"

Hedin fixed his glare on Gareth, but the dwarf didn't budge. He smiled up at the elf with a wicked gleam to it.

"Ye wan' ye face smash'd in pretty boy?!"

"Gareth, enough!" Finn put his hand on the dwarf to calm him down. "No one gives a shit about your decree, Hedin. Go run back to your Goddess and leave Riveria alone. She doesn't want some washed up king."

"We'll see what she wants when she is before my Goddess!"

Hedin went to reach for Riveria, thinking he was faster now with his level up, but they all saw it coming. While each of them knew this encounter wouldn't end well, they truly had no idea how badly it would end. Not just for Hedin and the Freya Familia, but for Riveria, Finn, Gareth, and the Loki Familia as well.

Ais Wallenstein left after her morning training to do one of the few things that still brought her joy, eat Jagamarukun.

She was trying to be happy about the news that Riveria, Finn, and Gareth had finally reached Level 7, but she was having a hard time feeling happy at all. She was still Level 6, even though she'd reached it three years ago, and the rate she was going, it would be another three, at least, before she reached Level 7 herself.

It just wasn't fast enough!

Loki had promised her they would get strong enough to kill the OEBD and rescue her mother, but they weren't even close! The Zeus and Hera Familias had been filled with Level 6s and 7s, had a few Level 8s, and had Level 9s as captains! The Loki Familias executives, who had over twenty years of experience a piece, were only just reaching Level 7!

At this rate, they'd all die before they even came lose to being able to kill the damn OEBD!

That wasn't even mentioning Ottar was still the strongest in Orario when he'd reached Level 8 last year. She knew there'd never be a moment she could convince the King to help her kill the damn OEBD either. He was strong, but she saw he cared for nothing but his Goddess.

"Ah, Sword Princess! You're a little late this morning! Which ones would you like today?"

Ais didn't realize she'd made it to the stall until she heard the tiny Goddess call out to her. It had taken her nearly three years to realize the Jagamarukun woman was a Goddess, and two more years to find out her name was Hestia.

Although, Ais didn't care, she only cared she made the best Jagamarukun in all of Orario!

"Two breakfast sausage and two bacon, please, Goddess Hestia."

"Ais! Why don't you try something different this time!" Ais endured Tiona hanging on her shoulder with her usual amount of enthusiasm. "It's so boring getting the same breakfast for five years!"

BOINK!

"Owwwwwiieeeeee!"

Tiona rubbed her head after her sister, Tione, chopped her there. She let go of Ais and landed on her feet. She turned to glare at her sister who had done her job and gotten her crazy sister off of Ais.

"You should know not to bother Ais until she's had her Jagamarukun, idiot!"

"Who are you calling an idiot, idiot?!"

Ais turned back and paid Hestia for the Jagamarukun when they were done and started eating them. Tione was right, she was no good to talk to until she'd had her Jagamarukun. It took her no time at all to devour them, even as Lefiya awkwardly stared at her.

Ais still hadn't figured out Lefiya yet, even though she'd certainly call her a friend. She didn't interact with many people other than the three with her and Riveria, but she felt she could call them all friend. Although, she truly didn't know much about them, and some of her interactions with Lefiya felt... awkward sometimes.

She'd been trying to figure it out for a few years now, but she hadn't made much progress in figuring out why Lefiya became so awkward sometimes. Ais only really cared she wasn't mean and Level 5. She loved it when anyone in her Familia got stronger, and Lefiya progressed faster than most.

"Were your Jagamarukun good, Miss Ais?"

"Yes." Ais looked at Lefiya next to her as they walked to answer the girl. She realized she was being short again and added a little more. "They were, Lefiya."

Riveria had told her she should try to give more than one word answers to those she spent more time with, and it seemed to work. Lefiya smiled very happily and all Ais did was add three more words.

True, she thought it was a waste as a simple yes should tell you all you need to know. However, she said them while walking toward Babel so it wasn't as if she wasted time saying them.

She thought seeing Lefiya happy would be worth it, but she started turning red and looked away when Ais stared at her. She really had to figure out what was going on with Lefiya one of these days. It was still a complete mystery to her.

"Since we can't go in the dungeon..." Tione started and Ais scowled. They really couldn't and it made Ais angry she couldn't. "What do you want to do today?"

"Whatever Miss Ais wishes to do!"

"Ok, Lefiya, you can stop fangirling anytime now!"

Tiona was nearly doubling over laughing at the elf. She still had no idea how Ais hadn't picked up on Lefiya's desires. She thought even a cellebit monk with no balls could pick up on how Lefiya threw herself at Ais on a daily basis, especially after it happening for over five years.

"Is there anything you can think of, Ais?"

Ais stared at Tione and tried to think of something to do. She wanted to go into the dungeon, but that was off limits. She truly couldn't think of anything, but when she opened her mouth to tell Tione she had no idea...

BOOOMMMMMMMM!

While they all heard it, it was plain to see the explosion happen right in front of Babel. They had already been walking toward it, and were less than a mile away from reaching it. Neither of them questioned anything and simply took off toward Babel as fast as they could.

"Run! Loki and Freya Familias are fighting!"

"Run for your lives! Ahhhhhhhh!"

"Run! Run! Run!"

"They are going to destroy the city! Runnnnnn!"

Each of them picked up those running away from the scene saying something similar. It only made each of them push themselves faster when they heard their Familia was engaging the Freya Familia.

When they could finally see what was going on, it was apparent it was Gareth, Finn, Riveria, Alicia, Anakitty, Raul, BĂȘte, and a few of those who just got Level 3 from the Loki Familia against Hedin, the Gulliver Brothers, Allen, Hogni, and some of the Level 4 members of the Freya Familia.

The fight looked rather even at the moment the way they were all battling like what normally happened when Rakia tried their yearly futile attempt at capturing Orario. Ais and the others drew their weapons and ran straight toward Riveria and the other executives.

Both the Freya Familia and Loki Familias looked to regroup when Ais, Tione, Tiona, and Lefiya joined the fight. Finn had a cocky look on his face knowing they now had the upper hand, and Hedin looked to try and figure out a strategy to fight now that it looked like they were outmanned.

"Give up you soft ass elf! This is your chance to walk away!"

Finn yelled at Hedin to get him to stand down. There was no reason for this to go any further. No one had died or been seriously injured yet, and Finn wanted to keep it that way. He also wasn't very used to his new level yet, and it was a bit awkward to fight still.

"Shut your fucking mouth, weak Prum! I'll come take Riveria from your cold dead hands!"

Finn knew this was about to get serious, and it wouldn't deescalate. He also knew he had to take advantage before the King got here or they'd be in serious trouble, even outnumbering the Freya Familia.

"Gareth, kept the brothers busy with Tiona and Tione! Riveria, I want you to-"

STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!

Everyone heard the foot steps that sounded like a stampede coming straight toward them. It was hard for any of them to imagine a man so large moving as fast as Ottar did, but you couldn't miss the giant Boaz barreling at them at full speed.

"Defensive perimeter!"

Finn shouted out his orders, but his thumb started throbbing so hard, he thought it might explode. He watched Ottar jump and draw both his greatswords. He was glad to see Ottar looked to be coming down on Gareth as the dwarf could take it, but it never got that far.

Right as Ottar started to descend after drawing his greatswords, a blur hit his chest and Ottar was slammed into the ground hard enough to form a large crater right in between the two warring Familias.

Everyone gasped, even Finn, when the dust cleared and they saw a man standing on top of Ottar. The sight alone would have made them gasp, but he was holding the Warlord down with one foot, on his throat, and Ottar was struggling to get up but couldn't move.

Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!

Everyone stared in complete shock as the man lifted his foot quickly and stomped on Ottar's face. There was no mistaking the breaking sound as the Boaz's face was turned into hamburger before the man kick him once in the stomach and sent him flying straight into Hedin. It took Hedin, the brothers, and Hogni to catch Ottar, he was kicked with such force.

There wasn't a sound being made in front of Babel and all attention was now focused on the lone man standing between the two strongest Familias in Orario. Anyone else would have run immediately, but no one else would have just smacked around the Warlord like he was a small child.

It only made them say nothing else as they took in the man's appearance when they could finally focus completely on him, and holy crap was the man beautiful. Not handsome, downright beautiful, regardless if he was a man or not, and it still wasn't adequate to describe him.

He was well over six feet tall, six and a half by the looks of it, and had hair as white as snow. His entire facial structure looked like that of the perfect male specimen, and his crimson eyes that scanned each of them intently looked to see straight into your soul with their depth.

It was obvious the man was an adventurer by his gear. He was wearing armor, even if it was light, and no one could miss the weapons he had. Nine knives, three swords, and a bow with a quiver was pretty hard to miss, even if u weren't an adventurer.

"Greetings Freya and Loki Familias, I am Bell Cranel, and it is most fortuitous I have managed to catch you all here, for I have come here with business for you both."

The way he said it made every person who could hear shiver in fear. All but one that was, Ais Wallenstein somehow felt comforted by his words, even if she saw everyone else's fear.

"What's your business, Bell Cranel?"

Ais has no idea why she spoke up, but she felt compelled to speak with this man. What did she look for more than strength? And this man had just destroyed Ottar with a single foot. She could feel there was more to it than that.

A lot of it had to do with the way Bell Cranel looked at her when he saw she was the one to ask the question. The murderous gaze he was looking at nearly everyone else with got much softer when he looked at her. The rest of it had to do with the way he answered her question.

"Just two simple things, Ais Waldenstein." Ais's eyes widened when she heard her true last name come from his lips, and he simply smiled at her. "Vengeance and to rescue a Princess."

While Ais felt the fear of all those around her, she didn't share it. Just looking at this man made her feel safe and comfortable. She didn't know why, but she knew he wouldn't hurt her unless she truly gave him a reason to. And even then, she wasn't sure he'd try and hurt her too bad.

She has no idea what possessed her to walk up to Bell Cranel, but she couldn't help herself. She even heard Finn, Riveria, and all the others yelling for her to stay away, but she felt pulled toward him and she couldn't explain it.

"What do you know of vengeance, Bell Cranel?"

Ais didn't care he'd just manhandled Ottar. She was in Bell Cranel's face with an intensity she hadn't known she possessed until that moment. It was as if all else faded away and all she could see in the world was Bell Cranel.

"Even more than you could possibly fathom..." Bell leaned very close and whispered. "daughter of Aria."

Ais's eyes widened again and she didn't know why Bell's smile at her reaction made her feel better again. She confirmed he truly knew who she was, but there was only a single word she could manage to get out to Bell Cranel after those facts hit her.

"H-How?..."

"Those who took everything from you also took everything from me and more, Princess. I'm here to save you from those who have betrayed your trust and your family, Ais Waldenstein. I'm here to take you home and make those who betrayed us both suffer."

When she felt his power release and stared into his eyes, Ais had never felt anything like it before. Bell Cranel not only made everyone around, except her, fall to their knees in terror from his presence alone. Ais Waldenstein experienced a first for her.

She wanted to be saved.

Bell Cranel had been waiting for this day since he was five years old. Every moment since that fateful day thirteen years ago when his mother (aunt) told him what happened to his family. Bell Cranel had thought about and trained for these coming moments.

When his mother, well Aunt Alfia, had started training him, he'd focused on one thing and one thing only, vengeance. It had morphed into hatred rather quickly, and it became his fuel to get stronger and stronger.

He knew he'd have to get insanely strong for his vengeance, and he, luckily, had a Level 7 aunt to train him so he could get strong, but even she couldn't predict just how strong Bell would get because of his desire for vengeance.

His hatred for those who had betrayed his family had melded with the unconditional love he felt toward his family and created a skill even his grandfather had trouble believing was real.

~Devotus Odium~

Bell's hatred ran so deep, he created a skill that translated from the language of the gods to Devoted Hatred, and his growth showed in how much hatred he truly possessed for his enemies.

Bell had been able to achieve Level 8 by doing nothing more than training with his mother. Now, she also obtained Level 8 in that time, but it had taken Bell nearly ten years to get that far. While his mother and grandfather celebrated when he achieved it, Bell felt nothing but disappointment.

It had taken too long, in his opinion, for him to get that far, and no amount of reassurance from his mother or grandfather about how fast and unnatural it was he achieved it would make him feel any better. It wasn't until his mother led him to a secret entrance to the dungeon from outside Orario that Bell felt he was finally progressing as he should.

Once she'd shown him Knossos, Bell hadn't looked back since. He'd used his hatred, gear, and power to cleanse Knossos of Evilus and their allies first, and that had gotten him Level 9. It had only gone faster from that moment on as Bell sliced his way through monster after monster in the dungeon.

Bell had moved himself into Knossos and rarely went anywhere else that wasn't the dungeon until it had been time to come to Orario finally. He had nearly said screw it and waited for the next Loki Familia expedition to take out one of his enemies, but he had other unfinished business before that.

Once his only leftover business before going to Orario was concluded, he was grateful he did wait to go after the Loki Familia. The reasoning was simple, Bell now had a new mission other than vengeance when he headed to Orario.

He was going to save a Princess as well.

Well, she wasn't truly a princess, her alias just so happened to have princess in it, and Bell planned to set her free from her captors. He would have done it after learning her story, even if her mother hadn't of asked him to.

"Reason for entering Orario?"

Bell looked down as he seemed to zone out when thinking of taking his revenge on all those he came here to put down, and laid eyes on a beautiful azure-haired and eyed woman at the front gate. If Bell isn't mistaken, this is Shakti Varma, Captain of the Ganesha Familia, and someone he might have to kill if she won't stay out of the way of his vengeance.

"Business."

Bell knew that wouldn't get most people in the gate, but he wasn't a fool to his looks. His mother always teased him he was beautiful, and he hated it almost as much as Loki and Freya. It was useful though, and he could tell smiling at Shakti was about to work again, but a girl came running up to Shakti before she could saying anything else to Bell.

"Captain! The Loki and Freya Familia are fighting in front of Babel! It looks like it's going to get bad! We need to-"

BOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!

Bell watched as smoke rose from in front of Babel, and his grin morphed instantly. He is glad Shakti ran off with the girl who came to get her along with the rest at the front gate. If she hadn't, she would have seen the wicked grin now on his lips and the malicious gleam in his eye.

It seemed Luck continued to be his best friend no matter where he went in this world.

Bell moved so quickly no one even realized he entered Orario as the gate shut behind the Ganesha Familia members sprinting toward Babel. Bell thought they were all slow as hell so he used the rooftops to go undetected, not that anyone could detect him if he wished to hide anyway.

He made it to Babel just in time to see each Familia about to start round two. He was going to watch, since it looked pretty even, but the charging Boaz changed his mind. There was only one person Bell wanted to cause more pain to than Ottar, so he intercepted the Boaz before he could attack the dwarf of the Loki Familia.

It felt so damn good to stomp Ottar into the ground to Bell when he heard the Boaz's face crunching under his boot. He knew he couldn't just kill him that quickly though, so he'd kicked him away toward his Familia so some of them could heal him up for another beating.

Bell planned on giving him and Finn a world of pain they'd never forget before cleansing their souls. He wouldn't stop until all those who betrayed his family ended up where they did, in the ground.

When he had turned and introduced himself, it sent a shiver of pleasure up his body to see their fear. He couldn't wait until he flex a bit of his power to truly make them feel fear. He was about to give those a chance he had no issue with to leave before he saw her step forward.

Now, Bell had an idea of how Ais Waldenstein would look, but he wasn't ready for what she truly looked like. Beautiful did not do the woman justice at all. Her hair and eyes were an impossible shade of gold, and she had a perfect body for her build.

It wasn't just her stunning face, large, perky breasts, or round, firm ass he meant by that either, though none of those were possible to miss. Her jaw, neck, collarbone, shoulders, arms, waist, hips, thighs, calves, and even feet were perfect. The only thing Bell could think that could make a mortal so perfect was the Spirit Blood that ran through her veins.

When he finally spoke to her, she appeared to be everything he thought she would be and more. She had marched right up to him and challenged him while all others looked on warily. He got close to her to whisper to her, but not because what he said was only known by a few. No, Bell simply wanted to see if she smelled as good as she looked.

She did.

For someone like him, who'd sought nothing but vengeance for most of his life, she was something bright and radiant in a dark world. However, he could sense she had a dark side as well. He couldn't help but now hope this encounter would turn out so much differently than he thought it would when he headed to Orario.

Seeing the look in her eye when she realized he knew who she truly was, it made him smile like he hadn't in a long time. It was only topped when he saw in her eyes that she could admit he truly knew what pain was, and he would make those who caused it to them both suffer.

Bell did wonder if she would still feel the same when she learned who was responsible for her suffering all these years. He supposed there was only one way to find out so he'd released most of his presence and watched as everyone around dropped to their knees in fear.

Except for Ais.

He was surprised he noticed anyone drop to their knees at all the way she was smiling at him. He'd made people terrified like this plenty of times, but he'd never had someone smile at him like his presence comforted them before. He spoke loud enough for all to hear, but he couldn't look away from the beautiful Sword Princess.

"My quarrel is with those who betrayed my family and no one else, so I shall give all of you the chance to remove yourselves from this fight. If you have been in the Freya or Loki Familias for less than fifteen years, this is your chance to flee..."

Bell isn't going to lie, it felt good to watch Ais shiver right in front of him at his words.

"However, if you decide to stay and fight with those who betrayed my family, I shall hold you as accountable for their actions as I will them. And so there is no misconception on what is about to happen here, know that if you stay, I am here to extract one thing from this fight... blood. Ais Waldenstein..."

Bell can tell Ais is not feeling the same way she had just moments ago. He can see the war in her mind going on through her eyes. However, he wasn't starting the bloodbath yet. He had a story to tell Ais so she'd understand why this was for her, as well as him.

Bell slowly drew one of his swords from his hip while keeping everyone else in place with his aura as he continued to look at Ais. He held it up right in front of the Sword Princess so she could see what the blade looked like for a reason.

"I have only learned recently that my vengeance is also your vengeance. You have always questioned how you got here and tried to find your way back home. However, it is hard to find answers when the ones who betrayed you are the ones you believe wish to protect you. If you wish for answers Ais Waldenstein, I am here to give them to you, but you must be ready to hear them."

"I want to know."

Ais didn't hesitate for a moment to give her reply. Since the moment she had appeared in front of Loki, Finn, Gareth, and Riveria, she had been trying to find out why and how it had happened. She dreamed almost nightly about the moment she was surrounded by that sand and taken from her mother and father's side as they fought the OEBD.

"You have been a victim of a Goddess's plot to become the most powerful God on Genkai, Ais Waldenstein. Your history, and all of ours, has been rewritten because of the whims of a Goddess who gets off on pulling pranks on deities and mortals alike, and she considers you and your family her greatest trick of all, Sword Princess."

Bell could tell he didn't truly have to say more. Ais knew who he was talking about, but he wanted to go a bit further. He wanted to make sure there was no doubt in her mind why this particular deity was guilty and those who plotted with her deserved their fate.

"You see, I possess the original copy of the Sword Oratario which was kept in a vault protected by divinity and unaffected by everything outside of it. In this book, it tells the story of the Mercenary King, Albert Waldenstein, his wife, the Spirit Aria, and their daughter, Ais Waldenstein and their legendary battle against the greatest monster this world has ever seen, the Black Dragon."

He could tell Ais was captivated simply by the look in her eyes. He couldn't wait to see what she looked like when he finished. Bell was hoping for pure, unadulterated rage.

"I'm sure you wonder how my copy is different, Ais Waldenstein, other than the fact yourself and your mother are in my copy. I wonder how it would make you feel to know that, in my copy, the Black Dragon was defeated, and your father gave all the credit for the kill to... you."

Watching her eyes widen in utter disbelief made her look very cute to Bell.

"Right as he was about to die, you picked up your mothers sword from the ground and jumped at the Black Dragon. It had paid you no mind since you were nothing more than a child, but you blinded its other eye and the roar of pain gave your father the opening he needed to shove his sword up into the dragons mouth, pierce its magic stone, and turn it to ash as it should have been centuries before."

Bell could see the question in her head wanting to come out but she was too stunned. He just smiled at her and answered it for her without having to ask it herself.

"But you see Ais Waldenstein, in her greed, a Goddess saw that this turn of events would led to her being barely anything more than a mention in the notes of history. With the Black Dragon dead, the Zeus and Hera Familias would finish off the two remaining great quests eventually, and they would reign as the strongest Familias on Genkai for all time. She couldn't let that happen, so she changed the game."

Bell watched Ais's hand start forming fists and he knew she was close to stepping aside while he handled his business.

"She tracked down an item of the Gods with the help of her Familia, the Hourglass of Kronos, which can reach through time and space for anyone who knows how to use it, and use it she did. This Goddess used that item at the perfect moment to prevent the Black Dragon from falling, the moment a little girl picked up her mother's disarmed sword and distracted the dragon from the threat that was her father."

Bell thought about stopping after that because it looked like Ais was about to draw her weapon. Not that he felt he was in danger. No, he knew she'd be going after a certain flat-chested, redheaded Goddess and not him. He couldn't stop just yet though.

"Her and her Familia knew the girl would be scared and confused, but a very valuable asset if handled correctly, so they did what all power seeking men and women do, they lied to her. They told her they heard something and came across her in the forest when it was them who had brought her to this time to use her."

Ais looked like she was about to murder someone already, but Bell didn't stop. He laid it on even thicker.

"All they had to do was promise what they never intended to hold up to, and they knew this little girl would give her all to see it accomplished. It would never get accomplished, but it would build up their Familia the stronger she got. After all, a child with Spirit Blood had a lot more potential than a simple human ever could, right?"

Bell could tell she was about to turn and go murder her Goddess, but he step right into her so there was barely an inch of space between them, and held up the blade he never let down just below their eyes so she was looking into his as he said what he did next.

"And this is where my vengeance and your vengeance become one, Ais Waldenstein, daughter of Aria and Albert. My family was murdered by that dragon that shouldn't have existed, and I have made it my life's goal to see all of these wrongs righted. Tell me Ais Waldenstein, can you tell what this sword is made out of?"

Ais hadn't truly paid attention to it at all even though she knew it was there the whole time. It didn't cause her worry when he drew it, and she couldn't look anywhere but his eyes to see if all he said had been the truth.

Now that she took her eyes from him for a moment and inspected the blade, she felt a strange feeling toward the blade. Weapons had never made her feel one way or the other, but she had a feeling about the blade that she didn't like it. The color seemed wrong and the magic seemed foul on it. Her mind must have put this thought together on its own because Ais doesn't remember coming to this conclusion on her own.

"Dragon tooth?..."

Perhaps it was the way it made her feel when she ran her hand along it, but it came out without her thinking about it. It felt like her vengeance skill was satisfied by the blade, and it only made her react when it came to dragons. She considered the bright smile Bell gave her a very big added bonus.

"It is Ais, but not just any dragon's tooth. No, Queen Athena was gracious enough to lend me her must skilled blacksmiths to craft this weapon for me. After all, it is not everyday the man who is responsible for the death of the OEBD brings you one of the monster's teeth so it can be made into a weapon so he had a reminder of the battle he fought with him."

"Y-You... killed the... One-Eyed-Black Dragon?!..."

Bell could see her disbelief, he didn't need to hear it. However, he knew words might sway her, but something else would be far more convincing. Bell reached into the pocket inside his armor and pulled out a gold ribbon.

It wouldn't mean anything to those around them, but Bell saw Ais start to tear up when he pulled it out. She barely waited a second of seeing it before she grabbed it from Bell's hand. He ignored the warmth the slight graze of her fingers against his sent down his arm to his heart.

"She's waiting for you, Ais Waldenstein-"

"Take me!"

Bell meant to continue, but Ais hugged him tight and cut him off. He couldn't help but chuckle though. The situation was serious, and he was about to cause a bloodbath. However, he couldn't just let it go with the way she worded that.

"You are very beautiful, but I'm not sure how comfortable you'd be if I had my way with you in the middle of Orario, Ais."

Bell laughing out loud when she turned beet red didn't fit the situation at all, but there was nothing he could do about it. He knew she meant take her to her mother, but he couldn't resist teasing someone as beautiful as Ais. She must not have minded that much because she never let go of him even as she turned so red he thought she might pass out.

"Please, take me to her, Bell..."

"Oh, I will Ais, but first, I have unfinished business. I may have gotten my vengeance on the Black Dragon, but I still have many who need to pay, not just for my suffering, but for yours as well, and I see no reason to leave it until later when nearly all of them are in front of me on their knees."

Ais finally did let him go and take a step back. It seemed she was just realizing there were others around them for the first time in quite a while. He could tell she was pissed, but not at him. He smiled when he gave his last ultimatum.

"Now is your chance to leave for those of you who I hold no grudge against. When this starts, all who try and protect the murders and traitors will be seen as nothing but the same to me as the pieces of shit they try to defend. Ais..." He looked right into her eyes. "If there are those you care for and wish to save, I suggest you do it now, for I will take no prisoners once I have started."

Bell suppressed his murderous aura the moment he finished speaking, and he could hear everyone around trying their hardest to catch their breath. It brought a small smile to his face to notice all those Level 2 or lower, or those without a Falna were all still passed out from the pressure he emitted.

He noticed Finn about to open his mouth, but the Prum never got to. Bell could hear and feel it coming, but he wasn't worried, so he never turned. It would have been a fruitless attack anyway, but watching Ais draw her sword in the blink of an eye then make a quick step toward him made him stay in place. He wanted to see if she was truly going to do what he thought she was.

She did not disappoint him.

She was now standing so close to him, he could feel her breath on his skin. Her arm was extended straight out in front of her with her rapier in it. There was absolutely no hesitation or doubt in her eyes as Bell stared into them. Not even when the first gurgle of blood was heard, nor the blood that spilled on the ground from her outstretched Desperate.

While Bell had a smile on his face, he heard the gasps of nearly everyone around as they all saw Ais plunge her Desperate straight through the throat of Grer Gulliver. The youngest brother tried to catch Bell unaware and end him in a cowardly sneak attack, and Bell couldn't be happier he did nothing.

What Bell did next, he did without even thinking about what he was doing.

She was already so close to him, and he'd never had anyone try to save him. His entire life the only two people who loved him and would kill for him were his mother and grandfather. He blames that for the reason he leaned forward, oh so slightly, and kissed Ais right on the lips.

Bell hadn't felt embarrassed since he was eight-years-old. That was mainly because his grandfather was a complete pervert and he was desensitized to most of that, but he felt it creeping up his neck when he kissed Ais like that.

What he didn't expect was to start moving away from Ais's lips only for the girl to drop her weapon, wrap her arms around his neck, and kiss him herself. Bell was so stunned, he couldn't even move when she first kissed him again.

It only lasted for a split second though, not the kiss, no, his surprise. He wrapped his left arm around her waist and pulled her close as he deepened the kiss. He heard the battle cry and charge behind him and it is the only reason he didn't wrap both arms around the spirit beauty.

That didn't mean he didn't spin as he slipped his tongue into her mouth and bring his free arm around with the sword in it. Just seeing the weapon you could guess it was sharp, but watching as Bell spun with Ais in his arms and cut the three remaining Gulliver brothers in half straight through their full-plate armor was proof enough if you didn't realize exactly how sharp a sword made from the tooth of the OEBD could be.

Bell heard everyone go silent when that happened again. It went from the sounds he associated with preparing for combat to as quiet as a library. You wouldn't think it could be this quiet outside, until that quite was broken by two screams. One of terror and one of rage.

Bell finally did detach his tongue from Ais's, but he didn't need to turn to send a kick straight into BĂȘte Loga's chest as he tried to catch Bell unaware with a kick of his own. Bell didn't even look away from Ais as he heard the werewolf's ribs crack and he was sent flying back toward his Familia.

"Go get those you care for, beautiful." Bell gently stroked down her face and he can swear she is looking at him with love in her eyes. "I will take all of us home when this is over."

Ais smiled, nodded, and took a step away from Bell. He was surprised she immediately turned back to him and kissed him again. Much quicker this time, but still surprising to Bell. He couldn't complain though, he'd never kissed anyone and had it feel like it did when Ais kissed him.

He drew one of his other swords as Ais picked up her sword. He noticed she covered herself in Spirit Wind that looked like her mother's magic before taking off toward a certain area of the Loki Familia. He didn't think he'd have to worry about her so he turned toward the Freya Familia for a moment.

They were already down four members, and it looked like they were very wary to come at him now. The smile Bell directed at them even sent shivers down Ottar's spine as the Boaz gripped his greatswords again after being healed.

Ottar refused to give up so easily and disappoint his lady!

Bell, on the other hand, had things working out for him and even more he thought possible. Not only did it look like the Freya Familia was stunned and terrified, but he could hear Ais and the Loki Familia behind him.

He planned on keeping an eye on Ais, just in case, but all he could hear from the Loki Familia was arguing. If none of them were going to join in right now, he'd have time to concentrate solely on the Freya Familia and causing them pain!

He didn't even bother thinking about what the Loki Familia was arguing about, he simply moved faster than any could perceive and started his attack. His first victim was the Dark Elf Hogni.

He appeared in front of the shit king and didn't even bother killing him quickly. He punched the Dark Elf in the gut so hard he broke every single one of his ribs, his sternum, and made the disgraced King vomit blood.

He ducked under the horrible punch thrown by Hedin right after Hogni vomited and brought an elbow up into the Light Elf's pretty face. The smile that bloomed on Bell's face when he heard the bones in Hedin's face breaking sent chills down the spine of any who witnessed it.

Bell noticed Ottar jumping over Hedin as he stumbled back to try and attack Bell with both of his swords. Bell took a quick sidestep, grabbed Hogni by the back of the neck, and threw him like a ball straight into Ottar's chest.

Bell heard a lot more of Hogni's bones break as he made contact with Ottar, and Bell thinks he heard a few of Ottar's ribs break from the force of the impact as well. It did its job though and sent Ottar flying into the building across the street with Hogni imbedded in his chest.

Bell took that moment to stomp straight down on Hedin's crotch as the Light Elf rolled on the ground in agony trying to stop the bleeding from his face. The sickening crunch even made Bell grimace a little as he stomped on Hedin's manhood. Bell couldn't bring himself to do it a second time and kicked the Light Elf in the gut sending him flying toward Ottar and Hogni.

It was perfect timing as he sidestepped once more to avoid the axe kick Allen had tried to hit him with from the back. Bell grabbed the ankle of the vulnerable cat and slammed him face first into the street. The snap of tens of bones breaking at once echoed down every street in Orario as Allen slammed into the street.

Bell didn't stop there though and stomped down on the small of Allen's back as the cat lay there in agony. The scream of pure agony he let out when Bell heard the crunch was nearly as satisfying as the kiss he shared with Ais.

No, he takes that back, there is no comparison. Despite his unlimited hatred and desire for vengeance, kissing Ais had been the best experience of his life so far.

Bell was thinking about that and it brought a different kind of smile to his face. To any who looked on, it only made the idea of Bell Cranel more terrifying for one reason. Bell Cranel had a smile of pure happiness on his face as he lifted his foot from Allen's back, stomped straight down on the back of Allen's skull, smashing it as flat as a pancake, and turning Allen Fromel, fastest adventurer in Orario, into a twitching corpse.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!"

Bell turned to see Shakti yelling at him, but he wasn't going to stop until he was finished, and he let her know the price for intervening if she tried to. He cared not it was her job to police Orario.

"Stay out of this Shakti! You did nothing fifteen years ago as heroes and heroines were cast out like they were nothing and all their accomplishments erased! I swear on my family that anyone who gets in my way will share the same fate as these traitors, you and your Familia included!"

Bell didn't even wait for a response, he pushed off of Allen's flat skull straight at Hedin, whom just used an elixir to heal himself. Bell only waited until it took effect before he appeared before the Light Elf and cut off the arm he used to drink it with at the elbow.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Bell did love to hear his screams, but he didn't get long to enjoy them. Hogni thrust his spear straight at Bell's head trying to end him. Bell ducked, brought up his sword from the ground, and cut off both Hogni's arms just below the wrist. It made Bell chuckle to watch his hands flip through the air still holding onto his spear.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

Bell didn't get to enjoy Hogni's screams either as Ottar was finally getting up after two elixirs himself. Bell raised both is swords to meet the descending ones of Ottar, and held back the massive Boaz with no effort at all when their blades crashed together. Bell smirked up at Ottar and kicked him in the side of the knee before the Boaz could react.

"AAAAHHHHHHHH!"

The sound of his bones turning to dust when he kicked the other knee was almost as satisfying as hearing the Boaz scream in agony. Bell didn't waste a moment when the Boaz fell to his knees and swiped his greatswords aside before plunging each of his swords through the Boaz's shoulders.

Bell made sure they went all the way through before he twisted and pulled them back out. He watched the strength leave the Boaz's hands and Ottar dropped his greatswords before Bell kicked him in the chest and sent him on his back once more.

He didn't even wait for Ottar to be on his back completely before he smashed his elbow into Hogni's face to get him to stop screaming then grabbed the Dark Elf by one of his ankles. The former king didn't even have time to process what was happening before he was being lifted in the air.

Bell brought him down with all his might straight down on the vulnerable Boaz like a club CRUNCH! The sickening sound it made as their bodies collided made all those around queasy, and many of them lost their breakfast as Bell continued to pommel the Boaz with Hogni's body.

It wasn't until Bell saw Ottar was unconscious and Hogni was nothing more than a limp, bloody corpse that he tossed the Dark Elf's body aside like the trash it was. He grabbed the arm he saw moving in the corner of his eye and stopped Hedin from drinking another elixir right as the Light Elf was trying to heal himself.

Bell didn't just wrap his hand around the bottle though to prevent him from drinking it. No, he grabbed Hedin's hand with the potion in it, and without taking the cork out, shoved the entire bottle into Hedin's mouth.

Hearing several of his teeth shatter did bring Bell a bit of satisfaction, but he couldn't just leave it at that. Bell made sure to punch Hedin straight in the mouth as well, and reveled in the sounds the former king made as the bottle broke in his mouth. The satisfaction of watching broken glass be swallowed by someone being healed by it at the same time they were being hurt by it would be hard to describe.

He went to lift his fist to beat Hedin to death and finish him off when he finally heard movement behind him. He turned to see the other members of the Freya Familia had finally found their balls and charged him.

It shouldn't surprise him they all went after him instead of fleeing, but he would still show them no mercy. They weren't a part of his family's betrayal though, so he made sure they didn't suffer.

None of them were powerful enough to see what happened, but Bell had done that so they'd feel no pain. One minute ten Freya Familia members were charging at Bell Cranel, and the next, there were ten headless corpses pouring their life blood onto the stone streets of Orario.

Bell turned and walked toward Ottar and Hedin again, but didn't beat Hedin to death as he planned. He knew Ottar was out cold and the Boaz would have trouble waking up any time soon, so he walked toward the Loki Familia, but not before he stabbed his sword down through Hedin's skull and ended the Light Elf's pathetic life.

Bell could tell they were still arguing, and he couldn't believe they hadn't done anything but argue as he slaughtered the Freya Familia. He did notice all the Ganesha Familia, minus Shakti who'd cleared out everyone else, running off in different directions though.

No doubt they were informing many others what was going on right now. Bell could care less, he wanted others to watch, and hoped Gods tried to intervene in his vengeance. It would just give him an excuse he was looking for.

"YOU KILLED MY FATHER AND STOLE ME FROM MY FAMILY!"

"You can't believe him Ais! You don't even know him! He's lying to you to turn you against us!"

"Bullshit! You know that is exactly something Loki would do, Captain!"

It seemed Ais was yelling at Riveria, Riveria was crying, Finn was yelling at Ais, and Tiona was yelling right back at Finn. It would have been comical, well, it kind of was actually, but Bell was in kill and make people suffer mode. He only didn't start immediately killing people because it looked like there were a lot of them still not sure what to do. Well, he'd make them make that decision quicker.

"Now it is your turn, Loki Familia..."

He watched them all turn to him, but only one smiled at him, Ais. He twirled both his blades and slowly walked toward them. He has no idea why the werewolf thought he could do something again, but this time, Bell didn't simply send him flying.

Bell jumped, grabbed the werewolf by the throat, and slammed him straight into the ground. Bell made sure to come down on top of him with his knee in the werewolf's chest. The crunching sound was nearly as satisfying at it had been from the Freya Familia members, but Bell didn't truly have a problem with this werewolf other than he wouldn't stand down and chose his fate.

He watched a young human girl scream as all the bones in the werewolf's body broke. It morphed from a fearful scream to one of pure horror as Bell lifted his foot and stomped down on the werewolf's face. He isn't sure if it is a good thing or bad thing the girl passed out from the sight.

"EVERYONE FORM UP!"

Bell was glad to see the Loki Familia had a better idea how to fight him than the Freya Familia did. He supposed you had much better teamwork when you constantly went into the dungeon together on expeditions instead of only caring for personal strength, as the Freya Familia did.

However, it seemed they didn't count on one thing, and it made Bell stop his walk forward and chuckle. Finn didn't see what was funny until his eyes followed Bell's everywhere he was looking.

Finn Deimne had a serious problem with his formation, none of the Level 6 members of the Loki Familia had joined the formation, and that wasn't his only problem.

Bell saw Ais and the two Amazons she arrived with still standing off to the side glaring at Finn, and they weren't the only ones. It seemed one of the female Elves had decided Ais was more important to her than her Princess because she was standing next to Ais, along with a black-haired Catgirl, and not Riveria.

"Ana what are you doing?! Get over here!"

"Shut up, Raul! How could you stand next to people who would do that to Ais!"

"Tione, Tiona, please don't do this!"

"Fu'k dem Amazons, ye old hag! Shoulda know' we couldn't trus' em!"

"Who are you to talk about trust, Gareth!"

Bell was tempted to sit back and listen to them argue, but he had many more things to do. He couldn't sit around watching Raul and Anakitty yell at each other, or Riveria crying toward Ais, Tione, and Tiona, or Gareth daring to talk about trust, while Ais yells right back at Gareth Bell's very same thoughts. He did enjoy it for a little though.

"Enough!" They all did quiet very fast at Bell's tone, even those who looked like they wouldn't fight him. "Time to pay for your sins, traitors."

Bell didn't wait for anyone to move another muscle before he was standing in the middle of their formation with a sword sticking through the face of Raul. He heard someone behind him throw up, and he assumed it was Anakitty. They seemed to be in some sort of relationship, but he didn't turn because he didn't hear the girl trying to come up from behind him to get revenge.

He didn't even bother focusing anywhere but in front of him, and his next move was to swing his other sword in an arc to remove the right arm of Riveria so that fancy looking staff wasn't in her possession anymore.

"AHHHHHHHHH!"

"Ye' fu'k'n prick!"

Bell let go of the sword sticking through Raul's face and caught the axe Gareth swung at him by the blade. He smirked at the dwarf before squeezing and breaking the blade off into a jagged piece. He slammed the broken part in his hand into the shield of the dwarf. It went straight through the shield, his arm, and then his stomach, pinning his shield and arm to the front of him.

Bell had heard the tiny Prum activate his cute little magic, but hadn't paid him any mind until he had a bit of fun with Gareth. He probably should have acted quicker, but he couldn't help but laugh at the sight of a berserk... Prum.

He nearly doubled over as he watched the Prum attempt to land anything on him. It was also aided, he knew for sure, by the fact it was like a cute little child was throwing a tantrum, not a seasoned adventurer in berserk mode.

Bell led the cute little guy around in a circle for a few seconds for some enjoyment before the fun really started with Finn. When Bell started the show, it was to sidestep a horrible technique, chaotic thrust aimed at him that Bell made sure went straight through Gareth's shoulder.

Finn had nothing on his mind but attack, and Bell easily made him attack wherever he wanted. He just happened to make sure the first five hits Finn landed were on Gareth, not him. He cackled to anger Finn more as thrust after thrust went into Gareth.

First it was his left shoulder, then his right. Gareth took another in the right shoulder before he pulled his arm and shield from his body only for Finn's spear to pierce his gut where his shield had been pinned.

When the dwarf had looked down at the blood spilling from his stomach in disbelief, he looked up and only had time to see the spear tip pierce his eye before he fell to the ground dead. Bell had then grabbed the top of the spear as Finn drew it back, broken it off, and slammed it straight through Finn's foot and into the ground.

It had temporarily pinned Finn to the ground until his Berserk overrode his sense of survival, and he simply stepped as hard as he could to get his foot out, ripping a quarter of his foot off in the process.

Bell sidestepped the Prum as he came close, and kicked him into the ground walls holding up Babel. He had reached his limit and needed to stop a particularly cute elf from completing her chant.

He'd heard her start, and truly didn't want to kill her, but she'd made up her mind when she ran to Riveria and started healing her instead of going with Ais and the others. It was a shame for more than just how beautiful the elf was.

*Luna Al-"

Alicia never got to finish, and the sight made Riveria vomit immediately as a sword came down through the top of Alicia's head and out her jaw. It made Riveria vomit again when the sword was remove and blood and grey pieces of brain came down on her.

She raised her only arm left in fear to shield herself from the monster attacking her only to feel more pain and watch that arm fall to the ground. She could feel everything getting blurry, but a very clear set of crimson eyes took over all she could see.

"This is for Alfia, the woman who raised me and you betrayed just like your precious family taught you to."

Riveria felt the pressure under her chin slowly get more intense as it slid up through her mouth. She'd never felt pain like this in her life and it didn't end until the tip of the sword had finally pierced her brain.

Bell didn't have time to celebrate though as he jumped over an attack by Finn and looked down as the Prum attack connected with Riveria's face. He was grateful he didn't take the weak attack as it looked like it wasn't a weak attack to Riveria. The High Elf Princess's head exploded like a water balloon and brought a smile to Bell's face.

He landed right behind the Prum Captain with an elbow right to his spine. Even the berserk mode he was in had no energy or magic powerful enough to draw on for him to ignore such a devastating attack. He fell down on his knees immediately, and Bell grabbed both his arms at the wrist and kicked him in the back.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Finn screamed out in pure agony as both his arms were not only broken, but ripped from their sockets as well. Bell saw Shakti pass out at the sight finally, and he was a bit grateful for that. He really didn't want to kill anyone he didn't come here to.

Unfortunately, he had to do just that as Finn screamed in agony as there were four people still alive from the Loki Familia who didn't join Ais. Bell had no quarrel with them though, so he quickly and painlessly removed their heads from their necks.

He didn't like killing, even less when two of the four were very cute women, but they made their bed and knew the consequences, so they only had themselves to blame for their demise. He did like, mostly, what he saw when he turned toward Ais's group.

While Ais was smiling along with the Amazon sister, Tiona, it looked like Tione, Lefiya, and Anakitty didn't truly know what to think or do right now. He planned on keeping his weapons out as it looked like there was still a possibility they'd attack him, but he wasn't able to be that on guard.

He nearly stuck his sword up when Ais lunged at him, but it was only for the briefest of moments out of instinct. His hand hadn't even twitched truly because he somehow knew she was going to wrap her arms around his neck and kiss him again.

And that is exactly what happened.

Bell had to wrap one arm around her, so he planted the sword in his right arm through Finn's right thigh and into the ground. It served as a stake to hold him in place, and gave him a free arm to wrap around Ais. He would have smiled at her actions, but her tongue was the first thing in his mouth and he was a bit distracted by that.

When she deepened the kiss and wrapped her legs around his waist, he spun around and planted his other sword in Finn's other leg so he could wrap both arms around her. The kiss didn't get any better, it couldn't, but his mood did when she finally put her feet on the ground for the sole purpose of stomping on Finn's head.

She was strong, but nearly as much as him, but it made it much more satisfying to watch because Ais needed a few stomps to get his head as flat as Bell had made the others. Watching slowly crack open while he held onto her did things to Bell he hadn't expected.

It also seemed to come with the added benefit that the other three didn't look like they were debating what to do, they'd made up their minds. Bell knew Tione was the one who'd been throwing herself at Finn, and it was she he was worried about how she would react. It seemed Ais being the one to finish him off had made it... easier? to accept to Tione.

He'd heard Tiona was an excited one, and it looked like even the horror around her hadn't taken that away. Lefiya looked to focus solely on Ais as a way to ignore what was around her. He wondered if Ais had ever fooled around with the beautiful elf, it was apparent she had a thing for Ais to Bell.

"Please take me to her, Bell..."

"It's not quite time, beautiful, but almost..."

Bell gave her a kiss, picked up his swords, and made his way over to the only enemy still alive, the immobile Boaz, Ottar. He was glad to see the Boaz was still suffering and his skills were doing little to aid in his recovery because of how severe they were and where Bell inflicted them.

He raised his sword as Ottar looked up at him in fear and drove it straight down through his... shoulder, then the other, the switched, over and over he moved up and down the Boaz body missing everything vital he could.

Bell lost track of the amount of time he spent using Ottar as a pincushion, but he did notice when Ais moved near him, and he decided it was the perfect time to end it. He wanted to leave the Boaz to bleed out, but he couldn't take the chance someone might come heal him, so he took just the top half of his head off so his brain was cut in half.

"Go grab anything you all need and meet me on the wall behind Twilight Manor. I'll take you to your mother after that, Ais."

"Thank you, Bell..."

"Wait!"

She went to thank him like he had been enjoying, with a kiss, but he stopped her. She pouted and it was adorable, but he had to make sure she could do one thing for him, and he knew it would be hard for her.

"Please leave Loki for me, Ais."

"But I-"

"Yes, I know, but she should still be reeling from the loss of so many of her children and it will be impossible for her to even move, let alone know you are packing to leave. It has to be me, and I have somewhere else I must go before seeing to Loki's punishment."

He knew it was hard for her, but watching her nod made him smile. Ais and her friends packed quickly and waited as Ais said she would. They hadn't even made it onto the wall yet when they saw the first beam of light ascend into the sky. They certainly didn't need to see the second one as they all felt themselves get very weak from the loss of their Falna.

Ais was only a bit disappointed she wasn't there to witness Loki's demise. She would have like to do it herself. However, knowing that she paid for killing her father and imprisoning her mother allowed Ais to let it go. The smile on her face when Bell appeared before her only moments later felt like it had always come natural to Ais.

Even in her weakened state, her only thought was to wrap her arms around his neck and jump into his arms so he'd have to Princess carry her. For the first time in her life, Ais Waldenstein whispered the only words she'd ever wanted to say.

"Take me home, my hero..."

She didn't even notice when Bell jumped off the wall with her in his arms, she only remembered what his lips felt like against hers. Ais Waldenstein found what she had always been searching for... a hero.
