Chapter 2: Marine Returns
Southern Island, Sol Dimension
It was another sunny day on Southern Island, a land form right in the middle of the ocean in Blaze's world. Walking down the shores of Seagull Beach was a raccoon. Her name was Marine.
"Oi, another beautiful day, it is." Marine said in her mediocre Australian accent.
Then, a figure landed a few yards away from her.
"I recognize this bloke from anywhere. Oi, Blaze, it's been forever, mate!" Marine ran over to greet the Queen of their world,
"Hello, Marine, it's been too long." Blaze greeted.
Marine then noticed a child in Blaze's arms.
"Yo, what be in your arms, Shelia?" Marine pointed to Shadic.
"This is my son, Shadic, as I'm a mother now." Blaze answered.
"Yer pregnant?"
"I was 10 months ago."
"Who's the Dad, mate?"
"His name is Shadow the Hedgehog, an acquaintance of Sonic."
"That black hedgehog feller? The one that helped us a few years ago against that Eggman Nega feller?"
"Yes." Blaze nodded.
"Have you seen Sonic at all?"
"Yes."
"How is he?"
"Sonic is happy. He married and has a daughter."
"What about that bloke Tails?"
"He has a girlfriend, but they are not old enough to marry. Also, how old are you, Marine?"
"16, mate."
"Wow, time has flown by." Blaze scratched her head.
"If you see them again, do say hello." Marine said.
"Why not do it yourself?"
"Huh?"
"Marine, if you want to, you can come visit Sonic's world and see them again, as well as meet some of our friends." Blaze said.
"R-really, mate?" Marine asked, getting excited.
"Yes, and as much as it pains me to say this, you can stay with me and Shadow, but you MUST behave. Shadow will not tolerate any crap, and neither will I. If you think I'm mean, Shadow is 10 times worse. Deal?"
"Deal, mate. Just gotta pack and tell the Coconut Crew I'm leaving."
Marine left to go pack.
