A/N #1: Great to get the feedback for the last chapter so I'll get to my thank you for that! Mb (Really pleased reading you thought the chapter was a nice filler one. And happy to read that you thought it was nice seeing them at home and getting more information about the families for the case. The same with them getting from David and Rebecca that the legend of the gems is true. Glad you're liking the Christmas plans they're going to have, along with the fact that people are coming too to see the twins! Nice to see you thought the first half was nicely done! You're welcome for the first half of the chapter! I was glad that you thought the second half was nicely written too! And I'm not surprised you mentioned Julia talking to Castle and Beckett about school and the Rumba. Same with you talking about the information about the brooch not being the real one and the other piece also being at the house. I'm really pleased you enjoyed the bit with Skye and Mary with their family being excited about the season and going to celebrate in the Hamptons. Glad that you enjoyed Castle and Beckett reassuring themselves Beckett was doing well as you put it, and smiled when you said they were celebrating as only they can. Nice to see you enjoyed their passion and love doing that! You're welcome for sharing the second half of the chapter!).

Thanks for the review, loved reading it and am grateful for the time taken to write it out and send it my way!

A/N #2: The title of this chapter is a lyric from the song I'm in Love with My Car written by Roger Taylor, from the Queen album A Night at the Opera.

It's Like A Disease, Son

Blinking her eyes when she heard the alerts on both their phones, Beckett said a little groggily, "Rick?"

"Yeah, I'll check," Castle replied before he was reaching for his phone. "Crap," he said once he'd read the message.

"Freeze?" Beckett asked, a little more awake.

"Yeah, it's going to start at eight," Castle replied, closing his phone and setting it aside. He turned to his wife and saw she was still on her side, facing away from him before he moved to kiss at her back until she was turning over. "Morning," he told her.

"Morning love," Beckett said, smiling before he was leaning down to her. They kissed gently before she told him, "I'm assuming you want something?"

"You say that like it's a chore for you," Castle said, feigning an offended tone. He kissed her again before she could respond and once they'd parted he said, "Though I wouldn't mind… anything to be honest. As long as you're okay with it."

Beckett couldn't help laughing at his pointed look when he'd finished speaking and she told him, "Believe me, I am," pulling him down to her for another kiss. When they'd parted she watched him while he was pulling away the covers and she said, "I thought there was a freeze?"

"We're going to be stifling under them," Castle told her firmly. Once everything was out of the way he turned to her and kissed her deeply though he wasn't lingering for long. Pulling away he laid on his back and wrapped his arm around her, sliding it under her back to hold onto her hip.

"Are we doing this at the same time?" Beckett asked, having been watching his hand. Turning back to her husband when he didn't answer, she was a little taken aback at the look on his face before he was pulling her closer. Taking his kiss she was responding swiftly since she'd been expecting it and their tongues were tangling together hungrily. They caressed at each other for a while until her husband was moving back first and she gasped when she felt his hand gently caressing her breasts. Looking down to watch him she wasn't surprised when he was gently rolling her nipples in turn between his fingers. "Rick…" she breathed to him before he was sliding his arm out from under her.

Relieved when his wife didn't try to stop him, Castle moved to lay above her before he was nuzzling her nipples with his lips. Looking up at her he was parting his lips and taking one nub in his mouth, proceeding to suckle at it. He tried to be gentle at first though he couldn't stop himself from doing so harder. When he stopped doing the same to her other breast, he pulled away carefully and said, "I was going to pleasure you."

"You changed your mind?" Beckett asked, unable to help smiling at his obvious hesitation.

"In execution," Castle replied, about to move before he paused and then looked up at her. "If you're in agreement."

"I am, hurry up," Beckett told him firmly before he was kissing her firmly. She wasn't surprised when that kiss was brief before he moved to kiss her breasts. She couldn't help shifting, arching her back slightly before she said, "We can't linger."

"I know," Castle replied, raising his head from her stomach which he'd kissed his way down to. "You want something different," he stated before she was moving her hand. He watched her in surprise while she was sliding her hand down her body before she reached her sex. Looking on, he tensed while she dipped her fingers inside of her sex and when she gently rubbed the tip of his length he said huskily, "You want me to fuck you."

"We could do what you wanted for a little first," Beckett told him, raising her hand and letting him lick the rest of her moisture off her digits.

Castle wanted to respond to that but hesitated to shake the pleasure that hit him at her taste. When he was finally able to speak he told her roughly, "You just covered my cock-"

"I can work around it," Beckett said simply.

"Vixen," Castle said before he was leaning down to her and kissing her as hard as he could. Feeling her groaning in pleasure against his mouth he stroked her tongue with his own until she was gently pushing at his shoulders, and he pulled back. About to ask if she was alright, he was abruptly cut off when she was grasping his erection firmly and caressing it gently while she began to speak.

"Just a little," Beckett told her husband firmly. She was tempted to smile at his nod, but she was accepting his kiss before their tongues were tangling together hungrily inside her mouth. When they parted she wasn't surprised when her husband was literally rushing down her body until he was between her legs. His first kiss to her clit made her arch her back again, her fingers automatically shooting down to his hair. Tangling her fingers through it she told him, "Don't make me come," surprised she was able to say that without hesitating.

"Believe me," Castle said, replacing his mouth at her entrance with his fingers. "I don't want to do that yet." Turning his attention back to her sex he kissed around her folds for a little before he bowed his head to her. Hearing her crying out in pleasure at the sensation of his tongue licking at her, he did that a few more times before he moved above her. "I have to stop?" he asked, gazing at her while she was breathing hard still.

Finding she could only nod, Beckett opened her eyes when she felt her husband moving away from her. Watching him laying on his back she realized he was tense, and she hurried to follow him. Before he could say anything she was kissing him, doing so gently at first before she slipped her tongue into his mouth. She only caressed at his tongue for a moment before pulling away and pressing kisses along his chest. Once she was at his stomach where his length was, she picked it up to cover the tip with her tongue.

Feeling his wife's tongue passing only a few times there, Castle's eyes flew open and he said, "That's it?"

"Of course it is," Beckett replied easily. "Now come here and fuck me," she added, pulling him after her when she lay on her back. She was pleased when her husband was immediately doing so, and she was soon after crying out as he rammed into her sex. Her arms and legs immediately wrapped around his body, and she was squeezing tightly at his back once he was fully sheathed within her.

After Castle had kissed Beckett deeply he began to thrust, and they were doing their best to go as fast as they could. When they did climax it was nearly at the same time, calling each other's names in their ecstasy before they were calm again.

Trembling a little still, Beckett couldn't help smiling while she told him, "I'm not sleeping naked tonight."

"Oh believe me, I don't want to make you do that," Castle said. "And we'll get more covers." He'd raised his head at that point and looking down at her said, "You didn't expect me to say that did you?"

"Not really," Beckett replied with a slight smile. That was slipping off her face while her husband was carefully withdrawing from her and she said, "Though I will miss that."

"To be honest I almost thought you would ask to be celibate," Castle commented as she sat up.

"Not for Christmas," Beckett teased him while she was leaning into him. After they'd kissed deeply she then told him, "You're amazing love."

"I am?" Castle asked. "When you let me do everything I do to you?"

"You let me play with your cock," Beckett said, smiling when he groaned and lightly nipped at her shoulder. "I hate to say it though…"

"I know, we have to get up," Castle said. "Shower?" he asked her.

"Quickly," Beckett replied easily, not surprised when he nodded before they were heading to their bathroom.

After they were ready for the day Castle was out of their room first and heading to Julia's ahead of his wife. "Hey, you're already up," he said, seeing she was stretching at her barre.

"I wanted to get a little exercise in before school," the teen replied with a smile. Julia then grew serious and asked, "Is it cold in here or is it me?"

"No, it's cooler," Castle replied. "We're going to have a freeze tonight."

"Really?" Julia asked.

"Is that disappointment?" Castle responded with his own question.

"A little, I didn't want to add another school day to the end of the year," Julia explained.

"Wait and see how it goes tomorrow," Castle said, about to leave to get Eliza up.

"Wait," Julia said swiftly. When her father stopped and turned to her she asked, "What about your case?"

"Same answer," Castle told her. When the teen made a face he shrugged and said, "Sorry, but your mom would say the same."

"She's getting Josa ready?" Julia asked.

Nodding Castle said, "And I need to get Eliza up."

"I'll get ready," Julia said, going over to the door. After she'd closed it she turned to her room and told Macca and JoJo who were watching her, "I know I have to tell them. But you do know Mom's going to freak out." She smiled when JoJo made a sort of huffing noise and hurried to get her uniform for the day.

"A freeze?" Martha asked.

"Just for tonight luckily," Castle said, sitting on his chair at the table.

"But what about the twins?" Eliza said in very obvious concern.

"They'll be fine," Beckett said before she had to help Josie getting her oatmeal on her spoon, startled when the little girl was saying more in the same tone.

"What about Emily?" Eliza asked.

"She'll be fine," Genevieve said with a smile. "The basement is warm."

"Since it's insulated," Castle explained to Eliza who nodded.

"What about your case?" Isaac asked then.

"It depends on the freeze being over when they say it will," Castle said. "At seven tomorrow morning," he added since some of the kids looked confused.

"So… will we need to go to school?" Clive asked slowly.

"More than likely," Isaac said wryly to his son. "Do you want to add another delay to your summer vacation?"

"Sure," Clive said before he was laughing with the others. Once they'd calmed down he said, "We're still going to Japan right?"

"We will," Genevieve said with a smile before she was giving more food to Emily in her highchair next to her.

Beckett half expected Eliza to mention the freeze again but was relieved when the little girl seemed to be reassured before she checked on Josie. After they'd finished eating she was taking plates before saying to her husband while they were in the kitchen, "He might not call us tomorrow until later."

"I thought the same thing," Castle said. "Though the station does have a generator."

"Great, isn't there someone always there?" Isaac commented while he and his wife were walking into the room.

"There is," Castle said. "But if we have to go anywhere else out of the station then we have a problem."

"I thought you were saying we had to see Dad?" Julia asked him teasingly.

"And that too," Castle said. He wasn't surprised when his wife sighed before he said, "We haven't gotten to the freeze yet so this is just all speculation."

"Speaking of that, how's your case?" Isaac asked.

"Beginning stages," Castle said before he glanced at his wife when she briefly squeezed at his arm. "We're hoping to find more out today."

"Julia," Beckett said to her daughter as she was walking down the hall.

"Yeah?" the teen asked, turning to her.

"Come here," Beckett said, leading her back to the office.

"What's wrong?" Julia asked.

"I'm asking you that," Beckett told her firmly. She wasn't surprised when her daughter hesitated and she told her, "I saw your reaction to our case being mentioned. Did one of the victims visit you?"

"No," Julia said firmly. She then sighed and said, "I had a dream last night that has to do with your case."

"How do you know that if the victims didn't go to you?" Castle asked, walking into the office. At the looks he was getting from the two he said, "Your dad and Isaac took over."

"I had a feeling," Beckett replied before she turned back to Julia.

"I was in a house," the teen said. "I have no clue where it was or whose house it was because I really didn't recognize it." Hesitating for a moment Julia said, "Well, I walked into the house first."

"Can you describe it?" Castle instantly asked. When their daughter did, he and Beckett shared a look since she was easily describing the entrance to the Vernon home.

"What?" Julia asked, spotting the expressions on her parents' faces.

"That's our victims' home," Beckett replied. "Keep going."

"Okay, so I walked to the office to the left and there was a door in the back wide open," Julia said though she hesitated for a moment. "All through the dream I could hear cars outside, really loud. But the weirdest thing was the floor was covered in gems."

"Gems?" Castle and Beckett said at the same time.

"Yes, but there was a trail of emeralds and sapphires into that back room," Julia said with a nod. "And I was going to walk in, but I woke up." She paused and then said, "I think that was Grandmama and Mamó."

"I would assume," Castle said. He then thought of something and asked, "Did you go into that office?"

Shaking her head quickly Julia said, "No, I just stood in front of the doorway." She then said, "I can guess why now."

"Sweetie-" Beckett started to say before her daughter was interrupting her and speaking in slight annoyance.

"I'm not a baby Mom, I know that one of the two victims from your case was found there," Julia said. She was about to speak before pausing and shaking her head before she said, "I'm right?"

"You are," Castle said after he'd glanced at his wife briefly. "But that's all you need to know okay?"

"Alright… I hope that helps you," Julia said, glancing at her mother.

"Come here," Beckett said, reaching for her daughter. She pulled her close and after they had embraced tightly said, "I can't help it."

"I know, the same as Dad," Julia said before she smiled when her mother laughed and Castle was making a face.

"You're right, but you know if you become a parent you'll be the same way," he told her.

"Yep," Julia said, hugging him quickly before they were leaving the room. Just as they had her mother was grabbing her hand and she told her, "I'll be okay. Grandmama and Mamó will stay with me."

Studying her daughter, Beckett nodded and let her go before they were walking to the entry where everyone else was waiting before they looked at the door leading to the garage. "You're running late today," she said as a greeting to Alexis.

"Louis?" Castle asked in surprise.

"Charlie let me stay to help Lex," the vet said. "But I need to leave now."

"His car is in the driveway," Alexis said while Jim and Martha were hurrying to get the twins in their carriers. "And we'd like to stay here Dad."

"Please," Castle said.

"He's right, we'll definitely insist," Beckett said with a smile.

"Great, we'll see you guys after work," Alexis said before she and her husband were leaving to everyone saying goodbye.

"We better go," Isaac said once the door was closed.

Watching everyone getting their coats on, Jim said to his daughter, "Is there anything you'd like us to do with the twins before we come back?"

"I can answer that," Martha told her daughter in law with a smile. "We'll let Finn and Emmie tell us."

"She's right Dad, if Alexis and Louis didn't have any specific instructions then just do that," Beckett said.

"I wanted to make sure," Jim replied before he turned his attention to Eliza since she'd walked over to him and Martha.

After the kids had finished saying goodbye to those staying home, the kids were ushered to two of the cars in the garage, leaving Jim, Martha and Genevieve in the entry.

"I think I'll take Emily to the family room," the architect said.

"You didn't need to go in for work today?" Martha asked, she and Jim following the woman.

"I can work from here luckily," Genevieve replied. She smiled and said, "If you don't mind me being here."

"Oh no, Josie will enjoy having all the babies here to order around," Martha said jokingly.

"Gram," the toddler said.

"Yes?" Martha asked as she was sitting on the couch with Emmie in her arms.

"I don't say," Josie said.

"I know kiddo, I was only joking," Martha said with a smile. "But you're the oldest one here so you are in charge a little." She smiled a little wider when the toddler was giggling and she leaned over, kissing her check before she said, "But you do need to have your lessons first."

"Sesame?" Josie asked. When she saw her grandparents were both nodding she squealed and laughed when Emily cried out. "Now I play," she said firmly.

"Go ahead honey," Jim said with a smile as Martha was stifling her laughter. He watched the toddler going to her toys, seeing his daughter in her movements and when she spoke, before he shook himself while his great-grandson began to fuss in his arms.

"Think it'll snow?" Mari asked her friend as they were leaving their families at the elementary school.

"I hope not, it's going to be icy," Julia said while she looked above them. She looked down when her friend touched her arm and she looked at her, startled since she was speaking in concern.

"Something happened, you've been acting really weird," Mari told her.

Stopping, watching their other friends heading ahead of them, Julia turned and told her about what her parents had told her the night before and her dream. "I'm okay," she said once she'd finished. "But it was a weird dream."

"It sounds like it," Mari said. "And was that trail coming or going to that room?'

Julia was going to answer immediately when she paused and then frowned before she said, "I don't know. It could have gone either way."

"Now what are you thinking?" Mari asked, watching her.

"I have to call Skye," Julia said.

"Now?" Mari said in surprise.

"I know it's early… I guess I'll have to text her in between classes," Julia said. She then made a face and said, "Or try to," before they were looking ahead of them since Clive was calling to them.

"You're going to be late," the boy told them.

"Tell me at lunch if you can text her at all," Mari said.

"I will," Julia said, giving her a quick one armed hug. She hurried over to the high school building, hoping she wouldn't be late getting to her first class while she went to her locker.
