Hello, everyone. It's been...quite a while, hasn't it? Far, far more than I had ever intended, and I cannot apologize enough for having left you all waiting for nearly a quarter of a year for some kind of update to the story. There's only a certain amount of time that can pass before an explanation just comes across like an excuse. Nevertheless, you all deserve to know just what's been holding me up for so long.

To put it bluntly, these last few months have been nothing short of hellish. The holiday season made my day job a hundred times busier, my current semester of college has had tremendous amounts of homework that took a great deal of my concentration, I had to go through a series of debilitating and expensive home repairs one after the other, I recently got sucked into the Warhammer 40k community, and I've just recently had to come to grips with the knowledge that my father suffered a stroke.

But, even for as devastating as all of these events are, an inescapable fact of the matter is also that, around the time this delay began, I have to admit that I was finally experiencing tremendous burnout with writing. I know it's an unavoidable thing that happens in any endeavor, creative or otherwise, but that doesn't make the acceptance of it any easier.

But I tell you all of that, to now tell you this: with these past few months having come and gone, I really feel like I've finally managed to get my spark back, and while I've been putting in sections of the chapters that make up the rest of the current story arc of the third MHA movie here and there throughout, I feel like I'm finally ready to put my nose back to the grindstone, finish it up, and finally get the whole story proper up and moving again.

However, I need to maintain a healthy balance between writing, my other hobbies, and my professional obligations, in order to avoid a potential second burnout. so here's what I'm planning to do, so you all can have something to look forward to.

My current college semester ends in early May, so what I'm going to do is burn through the few assignments I have left, then use the window of time I buy myself until that day, to finally finish writing the last few chapters covering the third movie, and then upload all three of them in bulk on May 11th. I know that doesn't exactly make up for four months of waiting, but it's the best I can offer you all.

From there, I feel confident I can get back into the groove of writing up a short story covering the fifth School Briefs light novel, filling in details of some events I unfortunately glossed over in the main story previously, then moving on to adapting the MHA: Team-Up Missions spinoff and the sixth School Briefs light novel as its own little story arc to help bridge the gap until...well, you all know what awaits our young Heroes before too long.

I hope this explanation and announcement helps make the time that's passed without a word go down a little easier, and I hope it also gives you some fair amounts of excitement for what's to come, because believe me, I have some big ideas in store for you all. I can only hope it'll be able to satisfy you to some extent when the time finally comes.

Thank you all for your patience, and I will see you all with the last three chapters of the third film on May 11th.
