"Sweet girl show us to guest suite." Ted said.
"The guest room is downstairs here." Beatrice replied.
"Did you bring us anything?" Callum asked.
"Don't we always? So handsome. And talented."
"Just like you're grandfather."
"We brought something for the both of you." Victoria replied.
"What did you bring for me ?" Lennon asked.
"Oh honey. Ted i knew we forgot something." Victoria replied.
"Next time." Ted replied.
"Len you got those books from that bookstore the other day. The onne that just opened. Why not go put them away or start reading them?" Brooke suggested.
"I'll bring up you're breakfast bud." Lucas added in.
"Okay." Lennon replied. As he went up the stairs.
"You know they didn't forget to get him something right?" Lucas asked.
"You don't know that." Brooke replied.
"What are they even doing here? Did you invite them and forget to tell me?" Lucas questioned.
"I wouldn't do that. It isn't me and them against you."
"You know that. We're a team." Brooke stated matter of fact.
"I don't know but i'm going to find out." Brooke added in.
"We're going to need the both of you to show us around. What's changed. What's stayed the same." Ted proclaimed.
"We'll unpack later." Victoria said.
"Dad's making breakfast. Did the two of you eat already?" Beatrice asked.
"We did we flew first class." Ted replied.
"Alright kids. Breakfast should be ready soon. I need to talk to you're grandparents." Brooke said. As she lingered in the doorway.
Beatrice and Callum took their gifts and headed upstairs.
"Well are the two of you going to explain yourselves?" Brooke asked.
"Can't we just visit you and our grandchildren. Without an agenda?" Ted questioned.
"I guess but is there more to it?" Brooke asked.
"Not at all. Now we want to know how our one and only daughter is doing?"
"Is Lucas treating you well and are you happy?" Victoria asked.
"Yes. We're doing great. We're very much in love." Brooke replied.
"Haven't i told you there is more to marriage then happiness?" Victoria asked.
"Yes but for me and Lucas that's the foundation. Love. Trust. Support." Brooke said.
