The crowd all made their way to the seats within the tent, awaiting with baited breath as the Show Leader stepped onto the stage. "Ladies and gentlemen, forgive us for the wait," she said as she made a bow. "We hope it will be worth the wait!~" she exclaimed as she struck a pose and snapped her fingers, calling her toy performers to all come upstage, and she slapped her conductor wand into her palm. "Let the Toy Brawl begin!"
The toys all charge for the center, and once there, they begin to wail on each other. The crowd cheered on, as before the show many people had made bets on who the winner would be. The crew all looked disappointed. "Knowing the truth behind the toys... this is evil," Harmony stated, clutching her seat till the arm rest broke. Minx patted her back, "Let's not get hasty, first we should make a plan." Kasai nodded, and Kagaku leaned over him from his seat, "They obviously won't leave till morning. Let's break back in under cover of night~" Julio and Harmony both nodded in agreement, and the plan was set. They returned their attention to the ring, easily spotting Lia.
She was currently throwing other toys out of the ring effortlessly, going untouched as she dashed around the stage kicking everyone away. A nutcracker scoffed, pulling an appropriately sized bamboo sword and charged towards her. His swordskills were formidable, and Lia found herself on the defensive as the nutcracker blitzed her with a flurry of blows. Lia falls out of the ring as he kicks her away, leading him to be the victor once the rest of the toys were dealt with. The ones who bet on him screamed in the face of those who didn't, and after the chaos subsided everyone left.
That night, Kandy stayed awake as she walked around the backstage area. There were dozens of smaller rooms the toys all stayed inside back there. She was holding a newspaper with Harmony's bounty poster on it. "I saw her out in the crowd... I absolutely must have her in my show!~" she giggled to herself. She started to head out into the main area to leave and find this captain, but noticed someone had snuck into the tent themselves. She spotted the Melody Pirates making their way to the back area, and grinned deviously. "Ohhh aren't I lucky?~" she said to herself as she ran back in.
"So... We find a way to get her to say the name of her Fruit, and maybe with the power yourself, you can undo the effect?" Kagaku offered, everyone nodding in agreement. "Makes sense to me," Kasai stated, and Harmony started heading to the back. "If we get the toys on our side, surely this Kandy won't stand a chance~" she said, opening the curtain that covered the way to the back. She spotted a group of toys inside and she crouched down to them as they backed away from her. "Hey... I'm not gonna hurt ya, I'm here to help you guys," she informed. They looked at each other and back up to her. "M-miss! The Show Leader is after you!" they cried, lunging at her to attack.
Harmony gasped as she jumped back, "What the- Hey! Stop it!" She quickly turned back, going for backup before Lia jumped up and kicked her face. "Harmony! All the toys must obey any demand given by the Leader! We are under command to attack anyone not apart of Kandy's group!" Harmony tried to call out to get her crew's attention, but one toy grabbed her mouth. 'Crap! I can't hurt them! What do I do!?' She shrunk down, jumping away before shifting back to normal next to the curtains. "Hey guys! The toys are-" Harmony's cut off as a dainty hand placed itself on her shoulder. Julio looks over at the back stage area, and turns to the crew, "Has anyone checked back there yet?" They all shake their heads, and head over as a group since it was the only place no one checked, at least that they can remember.
