The morning sunlight coming through a window woke Marcus and Emma as its rays hit their faces, Marcus groaned while trying to cover his head with a pillow while Emma giggled as she got out of bed and found her night clothes on the floor wondering if she should just not worry about putting them on anymore because most nights they were taken off before falling to sleep.
"Come on sleepy head, the girls will be up soon and we need a shower," she said lifting her wand and waving it to clear the air of the scent of last night's activities as she does every morning after.
Grumbling he sat up in bed while giving Emma an unhappy look while swinging his legs off of the bed using his feet he found his boxers then pulled them in as he stood.
"Don't give me that, if you hadn't been so playful last night you would not be so tired," she told him as she pulled out the day's clothes for them both and laid them on the bed before taking his arm and leading him to their bathroom.
After showering and dressing for the day Marcus and Emma packed their bags with the books and other items they would need for the day's classes, leaving the bedroom for the sitting room they found Luna and Alice sitting on a couch with books open and parchment in their laps, they looked up at the couple Luna with her normal dreamy smile while Alice was scowling at them before saying two words, "Silencing charms."
Both stopped mid-stride and blushed deeply, Luna was now laughing a tinkling laugh that rang throughout the room.
"Sorry," was all they said as the girls packed away their class supplies and headed for the door Luna still laughing which confused Astoria who was waiting just outside the suite to accompany them to breakfast.
Entering the great hall and sitting at the table Luna was now giggling while Alice and Astoria were whispering to each other Astoria blushed deep red.
Just as they sat and began filling plates for breakfast the morning owl post was dropping off the morning mail many students received the Daily Prophet and Burt flew to land on Marcus's shoulder holding a leg out showing a reply from the bank.
Taking the letter from the owl's leg Marcus held up a rasher of bacon to the owl's delight, once he ate the bacon Burt jumped from him to Emma who smiled holding up another piece of bacon, he did this for Alice and Luna as well bumping his head to theirs, as he was getting ready to fly away from the group Astoria held up a goblet of water, Burt gave a happy hoot before gliding to be beside Astoria's plate and taking a few drinks from the goblet then also bumping her with his head softly.
Laughing at the antics of his owl Marcus began to eat while opening the letter with one hand and began to read.
Dear Mister Phoenix.
I have the time to meet with you at 9 am this morning or later this evening I have an hour between 4 and 5 o'clock if you do not arrive before 9 this morning I shall assume you will meet with me this evening.

Handing the letter to Emma Marcus checked the time seeing that he had forty-five minutes he finished eating his meal and stood telling Emma to wait until he spoke with the Professors.
Walking to the head table he stopped in front of Flitwick and waited for him to notice that he was standing there.
Once Flitwick noticed him Marcus spoke, "Professor I just received a letter from my account manager at Gringotts he asked that I come to the bank to update my Will after seeing this morning's Prophet about yesterday's task he thought it prudent," Marcus fibbed a little bit while the professor nods then looking to McGonagall who also nods.
"Very well Mister Phoenix sometimes these things take time you may be excused from classes for the day, as Mrs. Phoenix shares your schedule she will have your homework if any." the tiny professor said while the teachers that would have had him for the day nod accepting the excuses.
"Thank you professor I'll let Emma know to keep notes and that I may be back late, she understands that reading legalese can take time our marriage forms made her almost decide to not marry me and just remain my girlfriend for the rest of our lives," he said getting a a few chuckles from most of the professors.
Walking back to Emma and the others he told her that he would be back late and that he may go to the house to check in on Cameron before coming back to the castle.
Emma nodded then kissed his cheek while he patted Alice's head, he then picked up his school bag left the hall, and ran up the stairs to the suite to drop off the bag before sprinting down to the exit and making it through the gate after running and finding a thestral drawn carriage waiting for him, climbing in he rode it till Hogsmeade, "Go on back up to the castle," he told the thestral as he walked past it patting it's shoulder, getting a snort in reply the thestral turned and return.
As he was walking to the three broomsticks a noise caught his attention, looking around he saw the man who ran the newsstand chasing a large black dog that had a paper in its mouth running in his direction.
Sighing while rubbing the bridge of his nose for a second he called out, "Padfoot sit," in a commanding voice, this was enough to shock the dog so much that his rump hit the ground and he slid a few feet, the newsman also came to a halt seeing the dog sitting.
Walking to the dog that was Sirius Black and patting his head he waited for the man to come closer, "Sorry sir I think he was hungry, last year he showed up at the school and would bring a paper someone threw out to someone else for treats but we thought he was taken in by our defense teacher."
The man nods slowly while thinking that the dog was trained sort of to get a paper the receive food, " I can see that it knows you but I can not let him take my papers, that was the first he's taken so I can let it pass but what if he does it again? "
Marcus nods then pulls out his money bag, reaching into the bag he pulls out what should cover the year's worth of the paper plus a bit more, "This should let him have a copy each day, just let him have it and he will be happy,"
Sirius was wagging his tail while giving doggy eyes to the man who was nodding as he took the money before returning to his stand, "Come on boy I'll see if Rosy has something left from breakfast for you,"
Getting a happy woof from the man dog Marcus went to the Three Broomsticks where he was heading to use the floo to reach the Leaky Cauldron, finding Rosemerta behind the bar wiping it down.
"Hey Rosy you got anything left over, this crazy mutt stole a paper from the stand up the street thinking he could get treats, " Marcus called out then pointed to the dog at his side while pulling out more money and putting it on the bar after getting Rosemertas attention.
Looking from Marcus to the dog she nods before turning to the kitchen and calling for a plate, then turning back to Marcus, " Sure thing Luv,"
Looking down at the dog he pats his head, "Be good for Rosy here and she'll be good to you now behave and I'll see if I can get you up to the castle to play with the kids."
Tail wagging hard enough to thump the floor hard he gave another woof dropping the paper to let his tongue hang out of his mouth.
Rosemerta came around the bar and set a plate of bacon and assorted other bits of food down, no sooner than it touched the floor, Sirius was chowing down causing the humans to laugh, Marcus handed over a few more coins, "He probably be back around lunchtime to beg for more just give him a large bowl of soup and bread, I'll be back by evening I think then I'll take him up to the school the elves will be happy to feed him. If not give him something and I'll pay when I come back."
Rosemerta nodded as she took the coins, "Of course Luv I'll take care of him till then."
Finished talking he looked at his watch and saw he had fifteen minutes till his appointment he said his goodbyes and went to the floo taking a pinch of powder and leaving a knut he stepped through to the Cauldron and sped through the crowd making it to the bank with a few minutes left, standing in line to wait, there were three people in front of him and just hoped that he had time.
As he was standing in line a goblin runner came to him, "Mister Phoenix your account manager is waiting. "
Noding he stepped out of line to follow the goblin, walking in silence Marcus went over his plan for the trinkets for animal understanding or even the ones that allow one to speak with the beast.
The Goblin knocked on the door to the office of his manager pulling him out of his thoughts, after being called in he nodded to the goblin while passing over a gallion before stepping in shutting the door and walking to sit in a chair in front of the desk laying the plans for the trinkets in reach of BlackBlade.
"I want to contract the goblin nation to make these, the first thing I want to say is that the goblins will get eighty percent of the profit from the sales while the other twenty percent goes into a trust vault for Luna Lovegood, " Marcus said before BlackBlade could ask anything while he read over the parchments.
BlackBlade read for several minutes and saw that these plans were simple and would be easy to make they could have their young enchanting students use it to further learn before letting them work on weapons and armor and save the value of wasted materials.
"I'll have to speak with the council before I can agree with this plan, but I believe that this will be accepted by the enchanting guild at the least, give me a week if they agree I shall owl you the contract, I have to inform you that we have received a few owls already asking about these items."
Marcus nodded while BlackBlade spoke, he knew it would take time, but knowing the nation would love to make the money, "I understand that the nation needs to agree with this, I could make these myself but don't want to be working on them while I have to finish Hogwarts and the tournament also I don't need the money."
"Yes speaking of schooling we received the transcripts from Japan with the courses the three of you took our curse breakers would like to offer you all a position when you finish Hogwarts," Blackblood said as he set aside the plans and then pulled out the transcripts.
"Emma and I will have to think it over while Alice needs to finish up with Japan this summer, we did plan on spending time in America or Egypt we haven't decided yet," Marcus told the account manager.
After that, they spoke about how Marcus and Emma would be traveling because their summer school had taken up their vacation time so they wanted to do some sightseeing, BlackBlade wrote a few things down he sent them to the traveling agent they had contact with.
It took them two hours to finish with what they needed, BlackBlade spoke up as Marcus stood to leave, " I will send the owl informing you of the council's decision, I don't think they will turn down the offer you have set before us,"
At the door, Marcus nodded and left finding the goblin who led him, without a word the goblin led him out of the tunnels receiving another gallion.
Exiting the bank Marcus looked at his watch seeing that it was near lunchtime he went to the Leaky Cauldron and sat at a table trying to decide if he was going to eat there or return to the school when he received a message from Emma about the conversion tank for Cameron.
'You have to start the tank for Cameron if you have the time pop over and set it up, the reports they sent me seem clear and upfront and safe, so I think it is fine to do it also it's not like the company would screw us over after paying for it.'
Tapping the watch screen he sent a reply, 'I thought it would be a week before they had gone over the data?',
'Mia is faster at research than Cameron and Alfred, she had the information broken down and went over it and found nothing wrong with the setup, she sent me a full report just after you left, just make sure to go over it before starting it up.' was the reply he received before standing to leave.
Waving to Tom as he stood up and walked back into the alley to apparate to the forest of Dean, once there and seeing that the area was free of people he opened a portal to the island and stepped through to find Cameron there with the car.
Climbing into the car he saw that Cameron seemed to be excited about the conversion, he had barely gotten the door shut before she started to drive up to the house.
"I'll ask you once again are you sure you want to go through with this? " he asked her while looking at her face.
"Yes master I need to be able to protect you, as I am that is impossible the magic in the world you and mistresses are in could have destroyed my CPU and after some research, Mia and I have found that as a purely mechanical being with only a covering of flesh once you reach higher realm worlds I would only be a hindrance, with this upgrade I will be able to grow, I will also be able to gain the same abilities you have using the ability share skill as you have done for the mistress's," she said while pulling to a stop in front of the house.
Sighing he gets out of the car and follows Cameron inside and to the mostly empty basement lab, the only thing other than a few work tables was a dual-sided tank one side was like a stasis pod while the other side of the thing was filled with a liquid that has many tubes and tiny mechanical arms.
Stepping up to the thing he found a control panel, reading over the settings he frowned when he saw that it was set to the fastest growth rate which highlighted that this setting would take two days but could cause problems for the functionality of the body as opposed to the recommended rate of a month.
"I'm setting this to the optimum setting of a month, while I know you want to join us as soon as possible the chances of your body failing are too great, and also with the month-long option it looks like you will get a VR teacher to help with the emotions that come with the upgrade," Marcus said as he changed the settings to how he felt was best.
Cameron looked like she was going to protest him changing the way she set up the pods.
"No arguments on this, this thing says that the way it was you could end up with motor skills like a newborn baby and or no emotional control, I am not going to risk that and you will get a better understanding with the slower method," Marcus said giving her a stern look that made her lower her head.
"Yes, master I just wanted to be able to join you as soon as possible," her voice was low and almost sounded sad.
Marcus steps away from the pods to stand in front of Cameron, he pulls her into a hug which she doesn't resist but neither returns, "It's been only a few months that you and the others came into my life and I am not going to put you at risk of being damaged by this if I let you go through on the two days setting we would likely lose you, take it slowly and in the end, we will all be happier."
She nodded her head against his chest and slowly raised her arms around him to hug him back, " My protocols to provide protection drive me to take the fastest way to be there when or if needed."
Sighing he rested his chin on top of her head, even with a direct order her programming was not able to let go of the need to be with him and the others, "Once you are done with this that won't be a problem, So just be patient, we will be here for you, now climb in and let me get this started."
Letting her go he stepped away as she also lowered her arms before she began to strip out of the maid uniform she wore, he went to turn away but she was naked before he could do more than take his eyes off of her.
"I am your property you should not have to look away from my form," she said as she moved to stand in front of him, her breasts while just a bit smaller than Emmas seemed to be perkier.
Sighing he looked her over which seemed to please her a bit, she then stepped to him again and hugged him pressing her body against his own causing the normal reaction for a man alone with a naked woman.
" Not until the process is finished, also Emma will want to talk with you afterward, she hasn't told me not to be with you but I want you to be able to feel everything," he said while giving her another hug and then kissing her forehead.
Again they let each other go then Cameron stepped up to the open side of the pod, Marcus checked out her backside as she walked groaning as his reaction began to ache a bit.
Adjusting himself he turns to the control panel as Cameron gets herself situated exposing her body even more to him, he was sorely tempted to pull her out of the pod and take her over to one of the workbenches to take care of the problem, biting down on his bottom lip almost drawing blood he pressed a few buttons that caused the pod to close.
Stepping over he watched as the machine hummed to life he lay a hand on the clear door panel, "See you in a month," he said as Cameron placed her hand against the door under his own and nodded, laying her head back her eyes closed as her hand fell letting him know that she was now in sleep mode.
Stepping away he watched as the side of the pod with liquid began to gently churn as bubbles rose from the bottom as well as the small arms began to move to the center of the pod with the tips glowing.
Seeing that it was underway he turned and left the workshop and headed upstairs where the scent of food hit his nostrils, following the smell he found a light lunch laid out on the table he sat down to eat.
"Master, Jessup just sent a message to inform me that the farms have stockpiled a large number of food items and while the storage is unlimited it may be possible to sell some of the food to the company as well as the stocks of ore and ingots taken from the ore veins," Alfred said as he entered the dining room setting a bag of biscuits across from Marcus.
Marcus set his utensils down and looked at the bag guessing that it was for Alice, " Mia contact the company and set it up, I know most world travelers horde stuff but I don't see the point, just make sure to keep up a stock for the house and fill the workshop with ingots we may need it after this mission, see what they offer if it's points see about adding more farms, especially mystical ones, also see about adding holo emitters to the rooms and a medical room here on the ground floor with the best on offer."
"Yes master, I have relayed your request as you spoke, the manager is searching now for the information and rules for such a request, I must also inform you that Cameron's mechanical skeleton will remain after the pods are finished, the device will use the DNA of Summer Glau that was used grow her flesh as a cover to grow her new form," Mia let him know.
Sighing as he listens to Mia he nods, "Okay I will order a blank CPU and program a new maid nanny, this time I'll go over each line of code, Cameron's code was too strict and I think that would have caused a system breakdown if you hadn't have found that pod."
Returning to his meal as Alfred returned to the kitchen and Mia ran a few searches, just as he finished eating the lights of the room began flashing red, looking around while using his wardrobe to get his bokken and knives, " Mia what's going on?"
The wall across from him changed to show the gate opening for a few seconds as two bodies fell through it before closing again, "The gate seems to have opened on its own, sensors are detecting magic from whoever they are as well as a dark force coming from an item with them as well."
"Zoom in on them and do an individual scan on each of them, Alfred take some of the spare clothes Emma has in the spare rooms and strip them of everything, Mia keep the camera on them if they are female focus on the faces for this screen but note anything that you think needs to be done," Marcus said dismissing the weapons.
"Yes, master," was the immediate reply from the two, sitting back down to keep watch he watched as after a few minutes Alred entered the screen and began stripping the clothes from the two as the screen changed to show two faces.
One of the faces he recognized quickly looked like Emma just younger, but this new face looked gaunt and sick, the other face was of a girl he did not know until Alfred turned the person to lay on her back causing the long black hair to fall to the side revealing a lightning bolt shaped scar.
Standing from his seat fast enough to make it fall over, he ran from the room and through the house and out of the door leaping into the air he flew to the gate while hitting his watch to call Emma instead of sending a message when he heard her pick up the call he didn't give her a chance to speak, " Need your help with something the gate leave Alice with Luna."
Landing with his wand sliding into his hand he began casting diagnosis charms he had learned from Japan he got the results on a piece of parchment and was reading them over as the gate opened and Emma came through wand in hand the tip glowing ready to cast until she saw the bodies on the ground.
"Malnourished potions across the board loyalty love and repulsion, in both of them several curses to bind their magic the Horcrux is breaking the seals on the scar, I think that it is caused by the necklace over there," Marcus said as Emma began examining the two teenagers.
"It's possible, these poor girls seem to have been through the camping trip from hell I think they are just after the weasel left," Emma said while also doing her charms to get a deeper scan as she took a healer course while he only had first aid, she gasped as her scanning showed that the two were under the influence of a powerful lust potion.
Marcus looked away from the parchment in his hand at the gasp, "What is it? " he asked
"Aphrodite's tears, illegal in the world we live in right now, the only way to make it leave the system is sex with the opposite gender, I think," she said laying her glowing hands on each girl as the light spread over them.
After a few minutes, she pulled her hands back to reveal the girls looking healthy, the scar on the dark-haired girl's forehead burst open, and the wraith that came out of the scar screamed in rage before being pulled into the necklace a few feet away.
Emma again ran the scans before sighing and shaking her head, "Everything but the tears was fixed, we need to get them up to the house and in bed then you will have to leave while I talk with them."
"You and Alfred take them I'm going to go over the items that were on them and make sure there is nothing else to get rid of," Marcus said while looking at the piles of clothes.
Emma nodded when he spoke then had Alfred help get them into the car as Marcus scanned the stuff finding only a few tracking charms on the clothes and wands.
Up in the house, Emma and Alfred put the teens in a room on the bed with a light blanket over them before Emma sent Alfred away to put together a meal for them.
A few minutes after he left Hermione woke up first and scanned the room and found Rose in bed with her scrambling to check on her friend she failed to notice Emma sitting in a chair near the door.
Rose sat up as Hermione shook her while checking on her, once assured each other was fine they began to feel flushed and needful of something that they didn't understand.
"We need to speak," Emma said causing the two to jump and reach for their missing wands, not finding them they began to panic, Hermione tried to push Rose behind herself.
"Who are you and what are you going to do with us, where are we," Hermione asked as Rose fought to get around her friend, even with the panic they both felt heat rushing to their nether region.
Waving her hands and casting a calming charm on the two, "If you let me speak I'll most likely answer your questions, first off I am Emma Phoenix and I want nothing from either of you, we are in a guest room in my home, now I must ask who you are," the last was directed to Rose.
Rose looked gobsmacked finding someone not know she was the girl who lived, "I'm Rose Lillian Potter, and this is..., "
Emma raised a hand stopping Rose from introducing Hermione, "I know who Miss Granger is, it's you I know nothing about, now that I have been told I can try to figure out how or if you want to return home, I will also tell you that you have both been healed completely even that cursed scar, the dark magic that was there left the scar and entered the necklace you both foolishly wore."
Upon hearing that she knew Hermione but not Rose they were both shocked and even more so after hearing that they had been healed, they began checking each other over marveling at how healthy the other looked after nearly four months of barely any food after Ron ate the supplies they had in the first month.
Waving her hand again Emma sent two sheets of parchment flying to the two on the bed one to each, "Read them carefully this is the medical report for each of you, you are not going to like most of what you see I healed you of, the worst is the one I couldn't get taken care of."
It only took Hermione a minute to read her report as there were very few things that needed to be healed, Emma saw the horror on the girl's face when she reached the part about Aphroditet's tears.
Rose had tears in her eyes reading the parchment saying all her childhood injuries had been healed and even more so when she realized she was able to see without glasses, she was confused when reading the potions list that was in her system and more so in seeing that there was one that couldn't be cleansed, Hermione was now realizing what was going on with her body and most likely Roses as well.
"I see you've both seen the last potion, I am sorry to say that it is beyond my or my husband's healing skills to remove, I know only one way to survive that potion, and to be honest I am torn about how to go about it," Emma said drawing their attention again.
Hermione broke into tears, being the avid reader that she is she knew what was needed but she was not sure what to do being they needed a man but they didn't have one after Ron said he was going find a shop to get tea and food even if he had to steal it he told them before aparating away.
Rose was lost and Emma saw this, standing she went to the door and opened it she found a trey table loaded with food and their wands, picking up the trey she took it to the bed and set it down.
"Explain what's happening and what will need to be done to help you, I've forbidden my husband from coming here, I guess that you have less than an hour before the potion begins to push you beyond reason," It was not until now that they noticed that Emma looked a lot like Hermione.
Emma turned and left the girls to talk and eat, she went to the living room to find Alfred standing at the front door with two go-cups filled with tea, "Master is speaking with a specialized company worker who works with souls to deal with the Horcrux."
Taking the cups she steps through the door after Alfred opens it, "Thank you, stay away from the girls for now they have a potion in their systems that will make them want sex and I don't know if you will trigger its effects or not."
"Yes, mistress, I shall remain in the kitchen, I am making jams and preserves and will need to keep an eye on them as the process is almost finished, " Alfred said before closing the door and then returning to the kitchen.
Once outside Emma floated from the ground and flew to the gate finding Marcus speaking through an open portal.
" I've checked the world they came from the mark ties them all together, when you draw the soul of Tom Riddle it will bring the death eaters along, you should make a big profit from them," Marcus said as Emma landed holding one of the cups to him.
"Hmmm yes this will help me with my next job the power from the death eaters alone will be enough to afford a few upgrades I've had my eyes on for a while, are you sure that I can take them?" a man in a business suit asked while holding up the locket.
After taking a sip from his tea Marcus nods, "Yeah I'm new to all of this and I am not able to pull the kind of stuff older agents can pull off, and I don't know if I want to be working with souls sometimes that leads down roads I would rather not see."
The man nodded with a crooked smile, "Yes some new agents jumped in thinking they could handle the riggers of soul magic and ended up destroying themselves, I also recommend not taking the force abilities from Star Wars The Light and Dark Sides corrupt only in different ways and those who fall either way more often than not end their traveling."
Marcus and Emma made mental notes to keep that in mind as the man put the locket in a pocket, Marcus then thought of something, lifting his watch to his face, " Mia ask about their Luna,"
"Yes, master I'll ask in a moment, Miss Potter just now understood the situation and is crying, Miss Granger is holding on for now but just barely," Mia answered.
Looking back at the man Marcus spoke again, "You have the coordinates, so I wish you luck with gathering as much as you can."
The man nods and steps back to let the portal close, Marcus turns to Emma and then tilts his head to the table and chairs, getting a nod from her.
As they sat Emma took his free hand in a tight grip, tears forming in her eyes, "Those girls will have to choose I've known that I would have to share you but I've had time to grow used to the idea, even if I don't truly like the idea of it right now I will in time eventually."
Marcus lifted her hand to his lips and lay a gentle kiss on it, "You're going to tell me to sleep with those girls, aren't you?"
"It's the only way to purge the potion from them if you don't it will eventually drive them insane," she said before leaning over the table to kiss him.
Once she finished the kiss and sat back, "Well at least I won't have to worry about kids..., "
Emma was shaking her head, "The birth control method we have only works on harem members, also it's getting the girl pregnant, and the hormones from that which purges the female body, for a man it's simpler ejaculation is what does it."
Hearing how it would have to go let his head fall to the table hitting it hard and almost knocking over his tea.
"We haven't even truly talked about kids of our own and now I am going to have to knock up two girls that I don't even know," he said his voice barely audible.
Emma had covered her mouth with her hand to keep from laughing until he thumped his head on the table a few times almost spilling the tea this time.
"I know honey and while I'm not happy with the situation they are innocent in this matter, I'm thinking the weasel did this thinking he would get them both, probably in one of those big happy Weasley family plans of Molly's," Emma said squeezing his hand.
Before Marcus could reply his watch flashed then Mia spoke through it, " There was no Luna Lovegood at school with them but there was a Lionel Lovegood I guess that like Rose took Harry's place in the world Lionel did the same for Luna, Miss Granger said he was killed during the DoM raid instead of Sirius by pushing the man out of the way of Bellatrix's spell."
This news was enough to distract him for a moment until Mia continued, " The two girls are just about to the limit, they are getting ready to try and break out of the room to find a man, I suggest coming back to do what's needed."
Standing up they turned to face the house, then Emma held out her hand, "Give me your phone, I think you will need a perk I saw when you first picked powers,"
Passing over the phone while they floated just off of the ground he then grabbed their cups of tea before heading to the house, as they landed Emma took her cup while passing the phone back.
Looking at the screen his eyes widened upon reading the description of the perk, " This says I will be able to please any woman and have the stamina to keep up with ten at a time if needed."
"Oh yes I know it also keeps the harem girls virgin tight," Emma said with a large smile while reaching over to make his finger hit the buy button, as the perk hit him he stumbled.
Marcus shook his head at her antics, as they entered the house they could hear noises coming from the second floor, Emma took his tea and phone and set them on a table before pushing him toward the stairs, "Hurry on they won't last much longer,"
Shaking his head he mounted the stairs and made his way up while Emma turned away wiping tears off of her face, "I'm going to return to the school send me a text when they are stable I'll have to do some checkups after the potion is out of their systems."
After receiving a positive reply from Mia she left the house and flew to the gate opening it to be just outside Hogsmeade she made her way through the the town and was passing the Three Broomsticks when Rosemerta waved her over.
Once Emma was at the tavern she saw Padfoot sitting at the bar's owner's feet his tongue hanging out of his mouth with a doggy smile,
"Your husband was supposed to pick him up but I am going to have to close early, my niece just went into labor and I'm the only family able to get to the hospital and I don't trust my workers to handle the place while I'm gone," she said apologetically which Emma waved it off.
"It's fine Marcus isn't coming back to the castle tonight, some distant relatives were attacked by dark magic users and he is the closest family they could find to handle their medical needs if it weren't for Alice being here I would have stayed with them," she said while patting her leg to call Padfoot over.
Saying farewell Emma led Padfoot up to the castle as they walked she spoke in low tones, "You better behave and leave Snape alone, Harry and Hermione will be able to watch you more than we can this being our N.E.W.Ts year."
Barking and nodding he ran circles around her, "Be serious about this and that pun was old when you were a teenager," she said giving the dog a stern look, causing the dog to give a yip.
Ignoring the carriages she made it to the gates of the school, as she walked through them she saw Hagrid walking up the path from his hut with something that suspiciously looked to be Alice on one of his shoulders.
Once she got closer her suspicion was confirmed when Alice waved from her perch, "Hey big sister where's Big Brother?"
Sighing Emma wiped her eyes to get rid of the tears that threatened to fall, "An emergency came up so he will be out for a day or so."
Alice saw the tears jumped from Hagrid's shoulder and flew at Emma tackling her to the ground and wrapping her into a hug, once the little girl was in her arms Emma broke down crying confusing Hagrid and the dog.
They sat there for a long time before being bowled over by a blonde missile, said missile was known as Luna Lovegood, and as she hugged them she started whispering to Emma trying to assure her that everything would be okay.
It took about ten minutes to get Emma off the ground but she did not let go of Alice, Luna hugged her waist she was led to the suite while Hagrid left to tell Flitwick about the girl breaking down in tears after saying something about an emergency.
Padfoot followed the girls to the rooms, Luna gave the password and opened the door while Emma stumbled in and fell on the couch pulling Alice into a tighter hug.
Zeke and Snowball came running from wherever they were when the smell of a new animal filled the room, they sniffed the dog and then joined the people pile on the couch.
A few minutes later the door opened admitting Professor Flitwick and Madam Pomphery who ran her wand over Emma before pulling a calming drought and nearly forcing her to drink the drought.
"She is physically fine and her magic is stable," Madam Pomphery told the charms Professor who nodded.
After another minute the drought took effect calming Emma enough to allow her to speak clearly.
"After the meeting with the bank Marcus received a message from a healer that some distant relatives who were attacked by some dark magic users, forced them to drink Aphrodities tears," she said in a monotone voice.
Both adults gasped at hearing what was done to the relatives and knowing what needed to be done to help them.
"Marcus sent me a message at lunch as you know when I joined him he explained what was happening and that he would need to be intimate with them," she finished with new tears flowing even with the drought.
"We've not had any news of attacks on any families, " Flitwick said after Emma finished.
"It was done outside Britain We used a port key to a Blak family property close to the hospital, then took them there to help, if I didn't need to be here for Alice I wouldn't have came back for the night I'll have to leave again tomorrow morning to check in on them, "Emma said getting a reaction from the large black dog at saying Black family property.
The group did not know how to reply to this news, Madam Pomphry was not able to do much more than give another drought to Emma and return to the medical wing, Professor Flitwick also left to let the other teachers know of the absence that would take a few days and Emma will have to come and go.
"Luna take Padfoot to Harry and Hermione they should be up in the training room we showed them, I'm going to lie down," Emma said getting up from the couch with Alice still in her arms and going to the bedroom she shared with Marcus, laying on the bed she was almost immediately asleep, the second potion Pomphry had a mild sleeping drought as well as the calming drought.
